Abstract

Coloring plays an important role as an artistic consideration in pottery products for the export market. Burning technique coloring is one of the innovative finishing techniques that have an antique impression. The purpose of this paper is to experiment with the finishing of the burnt technique and its application to the surface of the pottery body to make it look antique or ancient. This is an effort to increase the variety of finishing on the products of the Kasongan Yogyakarta pottery industry. Kasongan is the largest pottery industry in Indonesia. Kasongan Yogyakarta pottery has become an international trade commodity. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive method with an explanation of the flow of the experimentation process for the combustion technique of coloring on Kasongan pottery. The experiment resulted in four findings of the burning technique, namely (1) antique green, (2) antique blue, (3) antique brown, and (4) antique earth color. The experimental results were applied to 8 pottery in the form of statues and decorative vases. It is hoped that it can add variations to the coloring of pottery products and increase sales of Kasongan pottery products.

Abstract

Since COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way people conduct things, including educational activities, online learning has become a necessity that schools must adopt. This study aims to analyze the relationship of various variables that affect the success of online learning in accounting subjects in vocational high. This study is a quantitative cross-sectional online survey with 308 respondents from 26 schools in North Sumatra, Indonesia. Data analysis was performed through regression analysis with moderating variables. It concluded that the success of online learning process as measured by Learning Satisfaction was influenced by Student Characteristics, Learning Accessibility, and Textbooks, while Multimedia Materials and other Text Materials did not have any effect. It further observed that teacher Support does not affect learning satisfaction but can moderate the relationship between student characteristics and textbook quality. This means that all related parties need to focus on changing students' mindset, improving the quality of textbooks, and increasing accessibility. On the other hand, to increase success, it is necessary to strengthen the role of teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari kenyataaan di sekolah bahwa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran konsep, guru belum menggunakan alat peraga yang sesuai dengan materi, disebabkan alat peraga yang terbatas, walaupun ada alat peraga yang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran, guru kurang mengerti cara menggunakannya. Sehingga siswa sulit memahami konsep-konsep khususnya pengurangan bilangan cacah. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran pengurangan bilangan cacah, maka digunakanlah Blok Dienes dengan cara tanpa teknik meminjam dan dengan teknik meminjam. Teknik ini dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep pengurangan bilangan, yaitu dalam menentukan bilangan pengurang dengan bilangan yang akan dikurang, serta besar kecilnya bilangan yang akan dikurang dengan bilangan pengurang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas di SDN. 21 Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Subjek penelitian ber jumlah 37 orang siswa, yang terdiri dari siswa laki-laki 20 orang dan siswa perempuan 17 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus yaitu siklus I dua kali pertemuan dan siklus II satu kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan Blok Dienes dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pengurangan bilangan cacah dalam mata pelajaran matematika kelas I SD Negeri 21 Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.

Abstract

Surat kabar di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) memproduksi dan mengontruksi sejumlah teks berita korupsi. Penelitian ini hendak mencermati dengan perspektif kritis wacana korupsi tersebut. Peneliti menggunakan analisis wacana kritis (Critical Discourse Analysis/CDA) yang ditawarkan oleh Teun A. van Dijk untuk menganalisis teks, kognisi sosial dan konteks sosial. Data teks berita korupsi dihimpun peneliti dari ketiga media massa lokal tersebut, sedangkan data kognisi sosial diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan wartawan yang menulis berita korupsi serta data konteks sosial dihimpun dari sebuah LSM yang concern dengan masalah korupsi di NTT yakni PIAR-NTT serta melalui observasi lapangan. Peneliti menganalisis ketiga elemen wacana yakni teks, kognisi sosial, dan konteks sosial. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah berita korupsi dari surat kabar di NTT adalah adanya faktor yang turut mempengaruhi terbentuknya teks berita korupsi menjadi berita yang elitis seperti kepemilikan media, relasi kuasa dari aparat penegak hukum dan pejabat daerah. Media massa cetak dapat terkooptasi oleh kepentingan pemilik modal, pasar atau negara. Konsep van Dijk tentang media yang tidak netral diafirmasikan kembali di dalam penelitian ini. Sikap kritis tentu sangat dibutuhkan oleh siapa saja yang membaca berita pada media massa.

Abstract

The growth rate of plastic waste in Indonesia increases every year. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) revealed that plastic waste in Indonesia reaches 66 million tons per year. In Hamlet 15, Pematang Johar Village, there is the Suka Mulia Garbage Bank, which has been established since 2020 and has 60 customers. The presence of this waste bank has changed waste management activities, especially plastic. Villagers have started to actively save waste and turn plastic waste into eco-bricks. Changes in waste management in the community make this research aim to analyze the process of change that occurs by using the social construction approach proposed by Berger and Luckmann. This research design is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data in this study consisted of secondary and primary data. The results of this study found that there is a social construction model in plastic waste management, where from the externalization stage to the objectification stage, a community empowerment process occurs through the socialization of ideas and practices for making ecobricks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the regional government accounting information system. This paper is a descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. In data collection, interview and documentation techniques were employed. The results of this study indicate that the Accounting Information System (AIS) applied by the Kendari City has not been implemented optimally. It is proven that has not carried out its financial report input independently using the SIMDA Finance application. Instead, the authorized officer still went to the Kendari BPKAD office.

Abstract

A researched 10 clones of Eucalypts were done in Toba Pulp Forest in 2 sectors of Aek Nauli and Tele as the representative plots. The main objective of the study was to determine the relationship between the number of trees and the average diameter, average branch-free height and average volume of 10 IND clones currently cultivated. in the plantation forest area of PT Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk and compared the volume of wood from 10 IND clones and determined the 3 candidate species recommended for cultivation in the next period. Research method of inventory of stand by circle radius plot of 11.28 m (0.04 ha) with 3 replications summarized plot broaded about 1.2 ha. Based on the wood analysis volume analysis can be resumed that 3 IND eucalypts clones are recommended for planting the next period, namely IND 61, IND 60 and IND 11.

Abstract

Through tourism, several problems such as poverty alleviation and unemployment reduction can be solved. The development and development of tourism can bring huge benefits to the Indonesian people, especially the people in the tourist destination areas. The development of tourism plays a role in economic movements that can improve the well-being of communities, such as more open employment, business opportunities for communities, and increased revenue for the communities themselves and the country, especially local governments. This study aims to determine the types of poverty, causes of poverty, and the impact of tourism on the poor population in Central Java's tourist areas. A total of 60 coastal residents were sampled for the study using a purposeful sampling method. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptions. The results of the study are as follows (i) Types of poverty in coastal communities, among which: 60 years old and above, low education level (primary school graduates), and average income below the monthly minimum wage, (ii) The factors that lead to poverty include natural factors, cultural factors and in The lack of poor people working in the tourism sector, and (iii) the impact of tourism on coastal communities is conducive to the creation of new employment opportunities, such as guest diving guests, porters and souvenir sellers by understanding the opportunities and promises to foster entrepreneurship, thereby reducing poverty in the vicinity of tourist villages.

Abstract

This research begins with the observations and observations of the author when visiting Syekh Burhanuddin Nagari Ulakan's Religious Cemetery of Ulakan Tapakis Subdistrict, Padang Pariaman Regency, that unknown attractions, narrow accessibility, inadequate tourist facilities and tourist activities in tourist attractions Religious Tomb of Sheikh Burhanuddin. This study aims to analyze how the Development of Religious Tourism and the History of Syekh Burhanuddin's Tomb in Padang Pariaman Regency is seen from four indicators of development potential, namely attractions, accessibility, amenities, and activities. This type of research is a qualitative method research using SWOT analysis. The technique of data collection is done using the method of interview, observation, documentation, and SWOT analysis. The technique of data collection was done by interviewing the tomb guards and those who knew more about Sheikh Burhanuddin's grave, and using the SWOT analysis. Religious activity in the area has brought vast impact on the surrounding region, either in the form of the development of economic activities, the development of settlements and the like, however the development of the area has not been coupled with completeness basic facilities and infrastructure are adequate in supporting religious activities as well as a growing tourism activities.

Abstract

This research uses a quantitative approach which aims to determine whether situational leadership, organizational culture, and achievement motivation have a simultaneous and partial effect on the professionalism of kindergarten teachers in East Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The total sample in this study was a total of 120 respondents. The respondents in this study were kindergarten teachers who were in East Jakarta in the 2017 period. The sample determination used the proportionate stratified random sampling technique and then to collect data through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The test results prove that 1) simultaneously has an effect on the professionalism of kindergarten teachers in East Jakarta. So that the test process in the f (simultaneous) test proves the influence of situational leadership, organizational culture, and achievement motivation on the professionalism of kindergarten teachers in East Jakarta. 2) partially have an influence on the professionalism of kindergarten teachers in East Jakarta. So that the test process in the t-test (partial) proves the influence of situational leadership, organizational culture, and achievement motivation on the professionalism of kindergarten teachers in East Jakarta
