Abstract

From this research activity aims to determine the effect of visitor density from the existence of the square as a public open space for street vendors in the Probolinggo City Square area. The method in this study used descriptive qualitative data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The main informants in this study were street vendors who had been selling in the town square of Probolinggo for a long time. The street vendors relied on their ability to process food to become a very promising business opportunity in a highly consumptive society.The results of this study state that the mobility of the people in the Alun-Alun greatly influences the sustainability of the businesses run by the informants, so that the effective advice that can be implemented by the managers of the Alun-Alun and the City Government of Probolinggo is the need for additional facilities/infrastructure so that visitors are dominated by local people can feel satisfied and comfortable. The Office of Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing (PUPR) and Residential Areas has a big role because many facilities must be added and repaired in Probolinggo City Square so that in the future Probolinggo City Square can be used as a tourist reference as a tourism recreation space that has an impact on people's lives. traders around the town square of Probolinggo.

Abstract

Brand Awareness does not appear on its own. Brand Awareness can be obtained by business owners with the creative content efforts it makes, with the development of advanced technology business owners are encouraged to develop and keep up with the rapid flow of technology. The potential of Instagram can be used as a medium to conduct Brand Awareness. This research aims to describe the implementation of creative content @maharagung.organizer in building Brand Awareness. It focuses on the use of social media instagram. In this study the authors used qualitative – descriptive methods. The author uses data in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. Mahar Agung Organizer is popular on Instagram because the Wedding organizer is located in Surabaya and his work is well known among young people who will carry out weddings and all affairs that require help from wedding organizers..

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to optimize public services at the Sukodono District Mini Public Service Mall. In order to realize good governance and realize the public's desire for quality services. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with a descriptive type. The location of this research was conducted at the Mini Public Service Mall, Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency. Which is the only District-based Mini Public Service Mall in Indonesia. Then, data collection techniques were carried out by means of in-depth interviews with informants such as staff, civil servants and superiors, field observations, activity documentation, and the use of written documents as other or secondary sources of information in this study. Furthermore, the data analysis technique is by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Through this research, researchers focused on quality service indicators put forward by Zeithaml, Berry and Parasuraman. Overall, the Sukodono District government has provided very good service to the community, but in terms of infrastructure, sometimes there are still obstacles from external parties, such as the lack of stock of e-KTP blanks and an error e-KTP recording system. Then socialization regarding services at the Mini Sukodono Public Service Mall has not been evenly distributed so that not many people can benefit from the service.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the E-Letter application in the implementation of an online disposition system in the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the City of Surabaya. In supporting the use of digital-based bureaucracy in the City of Surabaya. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with a descriptive type. The location of this research was carried out at institutions that use the E-Letter application in carrying out online dispositions and also the automation of the filing system carried out by the Surabaya City Population and Civil Registry Service. As the agency in charge of the population administration bureaucracy in the City of Surabaya. The determination of the informants used in this study was carried out by purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, data collection techniques were carried out by means of in-depth interviews with informants such as staff, civil servants and superiors, field observations, documentation of activities when using the application directly, as well as the use of written documents as other or secondary sources of information in this study. Furthermore, the data analysis technique is by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Through this research, the researcher uses the research results to later be examined using the Implementation indicators from Edward III with the Disposition Indicators which need to experience a little improvement because they still have many negative factors such as a lack of competent people and are involved in this problem

Abstract

Political dynamics is an illustration of how far the political process is taking place so that it is able to reflect the values of democracy and accountability. With this political dynamics, there will be political movements that emerge because of the internal and external demands of the party as an organized group which is the impact of community interaction. So that it will bring up new regulations as a result of these political movements. This study aims to analyze the role of the DPRD Secretariat in controlling political dynamics in the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD. Then to analyze the factors that influence the DPRD Secretariat in controlling political dynamics in the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD, as well as to analyze the efforts of the DPRD Secretariat in controlling political dynamics in the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD. This study uses qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD Secretariat in controlling political dynamics in the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD is to provide support for the implementation of the duties and functions of the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD and facilitate all the needs and needs of DPRD members in carrying out their functions, one of which is in the legislative field. As for carrying out its role, the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD Secretariat also has factors that influence its role which consist of inhibiting factors and supporting factors. As well as the efforts made by the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD Secretariat in controlling political dynamics in the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD consisting of 2 ways, namely by optimizing the budget for facilities and infrastructure and increasing employee productivity and capabilities. So that with these efforts can control the political dynamics in the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD.

Abstract

Persuasive communication is one of the studies of communication that is often used to influence other people in various ways about what will be offered. The spread of the Covid-19 outbreak has had an impact on almost all sectors of life in Indonesia. One of the sectors that has experienced the most drastic impact from this pandemic besides the economic and health sectors is the tourism industry. Lamongan Marine Tourism is one of the tourist attractions affected by the pandemic. Currently, Marine Tourism Lamongan is incessantly carrying out various promotions to attract tourists to visit there. For this reason, it is necessary to provide tourist information media that is easily accessible and found in search engines by potential tourists. One of the social media that can be utilized is Instagram. This has been implemented by Wisata Bahari Lamongan Public Relations, which has an account with the name @wisatabaharilamongan. Wisata Bahari Lamongan focuses on persuasive tourism communication activities online by utilizing Instagram. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive research method where data collection techniques were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects in this study were the Wisata Bahari Lamongan Public Relations and the Instagram account @wisatabaharilamongan. The technique used in this study is the reward and order technique. The persuasive communication strategy implemented by Wisata Bahari Lamongan's public relations in attracting tourists through Instagram @wisatabaharilamongan is to prioritize existing facilities, provide promos for entrance tickets, giveaways, and special shows during holiday seasons. In this study, it was shown that there was an increase in sales feedback of around 40% -50%, this could be a reference that the persuasive communication was successful.

Abstract

The development of the 4.0 era has resulted in technology having an important role in the economic aspect by giving rise to the Gig Economy phenomenon involving freelancers. The manifestation of the presence of the East Java Provincial Government in welcoming the Gig Economy is by launching the Millennial Job Center (MJC) program to support young people or millennials in competing in the digital world. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing Cyber PR activities carried out by the East Java Provincial Government in an effort to inform the MJC program. In implementing Cyber PR practice it is important to pay attention to basic concepts, such as Transparency, Internet Porosity, Internet as an Agent, Richness in Content, and Reach.This study used a qualitative descriptive method and data collection was carried out by interview and observation techniques at the Economic Bureau of East Java Province. The subjects in this study were Experts and Head of Sub-Division of Financing, Regional-Owned Enterprises Partnerships, and Regional Investments.The results of this study indicate that the Government has paid attention to five important elements in the practice of Cyber PR, namely trying to be open or transparent in providing information related to MJC, but still maintaining internal information or data so that it does not leak to external audiences by carrying out regular monitoring on uploaded information or content. In addition, the form of wealth of information provided also follows the development or millennial communication style, and still contains a clear and straightforward information structure. In the practice of using social media, it also utilizes advertising features or Ads to cover the wider community.

Abstract

At the end of 2019 a new type of virus called covid-19 emerged which spread throughout the country including Indonesia. Lots of people have been affected by the covid-19 pandemic, one of the companies that has been affected is the Brilliant English Course, many activities have had to be changed due to the covid-19 pandemic, one of which is digital marketing activities. The purpose of this study is to find out how digital marketing activities are carried out by the Brilliant English Course (KampungEnglish Pare, Kediri) in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic by utilizing social media. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method in which the data is collected by interviewing informants and observing. The subject of this research is the Brand Ambassador Brilliant English Course and the object of this research is the Digital Marketing Brilliant English Course. The results of this study are that Digital Marketing implemented by Brilliant English Course aims to promote which in carrying out digital marketing Brilliant English Course is based on indicators, namely cost/transaction, incentive program, site design, interactive, Brilliant English Course has also succeeded in increasing the number of members.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the formation of the Lontar Sewu Tourism Village before the Covid-19 Pandemic, the efforts of the Hendrosari Village Government in maintaining the Lontar Sewu Tourism Village in the Covid-19 Pandemic era and the factors that influenced the efforts of the Hendrosari Village Government in maintaining the Lontar Sewu Tourism Village. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The informants in this study were the Head of Hendrosari Village, the Director of the Lontar Sewu BUMDes who doubled as Chair of the Tourism Awareness Group and sellers of food and drinks at tourist attractions. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1) The establishment of the Lontar Sewu Tourism Village was to improve the welfare of the people of Hendrosari Village. The accessibility conditions of Lontar Sewu Tourism Village are good, it has interesting objects, the village government and the community support the tourism village, village security is guaranteed, accommodation in terms of restaurants is available but does not yet have a homestay, the climate is quite cool and it is not related to other tourist objects. (2) The efforts of the Hendrosari Village Government in maintaining a tourist village are digital promotional innovations via Instagram @explore_lontarsewu, adaptation of the implementation of the CHSE health protocol (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environment Sustainability) and collaborating with seven stakeholders. (3) Factors that influence it are economic factors (budget funds), social factors (community participation) and environmental factors (conservation of natural potential).

Abstract

Beji Village, Junrejo District is one of the second tempe tourism centers after Sanan in Malang City. Besides having the potential of an educational tourism village, the kampung tempe of Beji village also empowers the community's home industry in making tempe. The analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative using the concept of place branding. The results of this study indicate that the destination branding of Tempe village, Beji Village as an educational tourism village, can be reviewed with the concept of place brand image, place brand personality and place brand identity. The place brand image that can be seen is in the uniqueness of the attraction that is offered as a tourist village of Kampung Tempe, which is not only selling souvenirs and processed tempe products but also educational activities about tempe to visiting tourists. Place brand perconality can be seen in various other supporting activities such as the Beji Kampung Tempe festival which integrates with the local government in its promotion. Place brand identity can be seen in the naming of the tourist village, the logo and the Beji Berkreasi tagline which is depicted in every corner of the tourist village. The factors that support the community to participate in the development of the tempe village educational tourism village are due to good communication between the government and the community and the productive age. Place Branding can show the greatest value that comes from uniqueness and has a strong relationship that can affect a person's perception of being able to remember something that is seen and felt.
