Abstract

The effectiveness of learning is an indicator that the implementation of the designed learning process gives good results for students and educators. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model based on the octopus point game with Lesson Study on cognitive learning outcomes in the classification of living things in junior high school students. The type of research used was CAR with the subject of class VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Penuh totaling 23 students, through Lesson Study activities which consisted of three stages, namely planning (Plan), implementation (Do) and reflection (See). Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in testing the effectiveness of learning on cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. Research data shows that students' cognitive learning outcomes have increased from cycle I to cycle II with the average cognitive learning outcomes of students in Class VII SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Penuh for the 2022/2023 academic year increasing by 8.23%. This percentage indicates that the octopus point game- Problem Based Learning model with Lesson Study is effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the influence of the video-assisted discovery learning model on students' analytical thinking abilities on the topic of the body's defense system. This research was conducted on class XI students of SMA Negeri 29 Central Maluku, academic year 2022/2023, using pre-experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 23 students. Data analysis uses inferential statistics, namely through the Paired sample t-Test. The research results show that the p-value is 0.000 (p<0.05). It can be concluded that the video-assisted discovery learning model has an effect on students' analytical thinking abilities. The results of this research recommend that it be used by schools to evaluate learning and encourage students' analytical thinking. Key words: Discovelry Lelarning Modell, Videlo, Analytical Thinking Ability Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh model discovery learning berbantuan video terhadap kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa pada topik sistem pertahanan tubuh. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kellas XI SMA Negeri 29 Maluku Tengah, tahun ajaran 2022/2023, menggunakan penelitian prel-eksperimental dengan rancangan onel-group preltelst-posttelst design. Sampel pelnelitian berjumlah 23 orang siswa. Analisis data menggunakan statistik inferensial yaitu melalui uji Paireld samplel t-Telst. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa p-value 0,000 (p<0.05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning berbantuan video berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan digunakan oleh sekolah untuk mengelvaluasi pembelajaran dan mendorong berpikir analitis siswa. Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah minimnya bahan ajar yang tersedia dan belum adanya bahan ajar yang berkaitan dengan Al-Qur’an hadist disekolah yang buansa islam tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul yang terintegrasi nilai keislaman pada materi virus untuk peserta didik kelas 10 SMA, mengetahui kelayakan e-modul, dan mengetahui bagaimana respon peserta didik terhadap pengembangan bahan ajar e-modul dengan terintegrasi keislaman. Metode pengembangan R & D dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, prosedur penelitian yang mengacu pada tahapan, yaitu: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementasi, dan Evaluate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa amedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sangat baik digunakan sebagai sumber belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan validasi dari ahli materi yang memperoleh persentase keseluruhan sebesar 86% dengan kategori sangat baik, sedangkan validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase keseluruhan sebesar 84% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji coba respon guru memperoleh persentase sebesar 90% menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan layak untuk jadi sumber belajar peserta didik dan penilaian uji respon dari 10 peserta didik memperoleh persentase keseluruhan sebesar 86% yang berarti layak dijadikan sumber belajar peserta didik kelas X. Media pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dimanapun dan kapanpun.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the needs of students and teachers in learning through the PBL model of the Ethnobotany approach in class X biology subject Biodiversity material at SMA Negeri 1 Tempilang. from 2 biology teachers and 109 students. The results of the teacher questionnaire are 100% of teachers who have not used a scientific approach such as Etnoboani in the learning process. In the lesson process, 80% of teachers have used learning models but have not used a scientific approach. Some teachers have used hots questions but not yet. linking material with a scientific approach to hone students' high-level thinking skills. Based on the results of discussions regarding the questionnaire for analyzing the needs for teaching materials that relate to ethnobotany. The research results show that the teaching materials developed are effective in increasing students' understanding of biodiversity. The results of the concept understanding test showed a significant increase in students' average scores after using the teaching materials. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the development of biodiversity teaching materials using an ethnobotany approach and PBL model can increase students' understanding of biodiversity through an ethnobotany approach to improve 21st century skills. abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran melalui model PBL pendekatan Etnobotani pada mata pelajaran biologi kelas X materi Keanekaragaman hayati di SMA Negeri 1 Tempilang.kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Tempilang Penelitian ini menggunakan penyebaran angket, sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 orang guru biologi dan 109 siswa.Hasil dari angket guru 100% guru belum menggunakan pendekatan sains seperti Etnoboani dalam proses pembelajaran, Dalam proses pelajaran 80% guru sudah menggunakan model pembelajaran tetapi belum menggunakan pendekatan sains, Sebagian guru sudah menggunakan soal hots tetapi belum mengaitkan materi dengan pendekatan sain untuk mengasah keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada siswa, Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan mengenai angket analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar yang mengaitkan dengan etnobotani. Hasil riset membuktikan kalau materi didik yang dibesarkan efisien dalam tingkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang keanekaragaman hayati. Hasil tes pemahaman konsep menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada angka pada umumnya anak didik sehabis memakai bahan didik. Bersumber pada hasil riset, bisa disimpulkan kalau pengembangan bahan didik keanekaragaman hayati dengan pendekatan etnobotani dan model PBL dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang keanekaragaman hayati melalui pendekatan etnobotani untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21.

Abstract

The teaching materials used during the teaching and learning process do not suit the students' character, for example the material is very dense, the size is very thick, the images displayed are black and white so this affects learning motivation. The aim of the research is to see the validity, practicality and effectiveness of teaching materials in the form of leaflets. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) which uses the 4D model (Define, Design, Development and Disseminate). The subjects used in this research were expert lecturers, teachers and tenth grade students of SMAN 3 Kerinci. The research results show that the content/material expert validation test got a score of 86.1% with valid criteria, the design expert got a score of 82.2% with the valid category and the language expert got a score of 91.43% with very valid criteria. Analysis of the results of the practicality test of the teacher's assumptions obtained a score of 95.56% with the very practical category, then the results of evaluating the students' assumptions received scores of 90, 63% and 91.17 with very practical criteria. Analysis of test data on the effectiveness of assessing student activities obtained scores of 90.23% and 92.16% with very efficient criteria. From the research results, it can be concluded that the design of this leaflet teaching material is valid, very practical and very efficient to be applied in Biology learning for class X students at SMAN 3 Kerinci. Bahan ajar yang digunakan pada saat proses belajar mengajar tidak menyesuaian dengan karakter siswa misalkan materi yang sangat padat, ukuranya sangat tebal, gambar yang ditampilkan hitam putih sehingga hal ini berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar. Tujuan Penelitian adalah ingin melihat validitas, praktikalitas, efektifitas bahan ajar berbentuk leaflet. Jenis Penelitian ini ialah R&D ( Research and Development) yang memakai model 4D (Define, Design, Development and Disseminate). Subjek yang digunakan dalam riset ini ialah dosen pakar, guru serta siswa kelas sepuluh SMAN 3 Kerinci. Hasil riset menampilkan kalau uji validasi pakar isi/materi mendapatkan skor 86,1% dengan kriteria valid, pakar desain mendapatkan skor 82,2% dengan kategori valid serta pakar bahasa mendapatkan skor 91, 43% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Analisis hasil uji coba kepraktisan asumsi guru diperoelh skor sebesar 95, 56% dengan kategori sangat praktis kemudian hasil evaluasi asumsi siswa mendapatkan skor 90, 63% dan 91,17 dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Analisis data uji keefektifan penilaian aktifitas siswa memperoleh score 90,23 % dan 92,16 % dengan kriteria sangat efisien. Dari hasil riset bisa disimpulkan jika desain bahan ajar leaflet ini valid, sangat praktis serta sangat efisien untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Biologi siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Kerinci. Abstract

Differentiated learning allows educators to meet the learning needs of each student, such as interests, learning profiles, and student readiness in order to obtain optimal learning outcomes. The aim of this research was to describe the process of implementing differentiated learning in Biology subjects in class X Science. This research is qualitative research with the presentation of descriptive data such as writing, words and behavior that needs to be seen. This research was carried out in class X students at SMA N6 Metro. Research information was obtained from teachers as subjects and class X science students as objects. The differentiated learning implemented in class X at SMAN 6 Metro has had a positive impact on students and teachers. The differentiated learning that is applied is differentiated processes and products. Data collection techniques in this research are through interviews, document study and observation. The research results obtained state that the application of differentiated learning in driving schools in Metro City can be carried out through project learning or P5. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memungkinkan pendidik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar tiap peserta didik, seperti minat, profil belajar, dan kesiapan peserta didik supaya memperoleh hasil belajar optimal. Tujuan dilaksanakan penelitian ini guna mendeskripsikan proses penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mata pelajaran Biologi di kelas X IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan penyajian data deskriptif seperti tulisan, perkataan dan perilaku yang perlu dilihat. Penelitian ini diaksanakan dipeserta didik kelas X SMA N6 Metro. Informasi penelitian diperoleh dari guru sebagai subjek dan peserta didik kelas X IPA sebagai objek. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang diterapkan di kelas X SMAN 6 Metro memberikan dampak positif untuk peserta didik dan guru. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang diterapkan yaitu berdiferensiasi proses dan produk. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penellitian ini melalui wawancara, studi dokumen dan observasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan menyatakan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di sekolah penggerak di Kota Metro bisa dilangsungkan melalui pembelajaran proyek atau P5. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi,kebutuhan,keaktifan peserta didik.

Abstract

Mycology is one of the courses in the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP, Jambi University. Based on the results of the needs analysis, one of the materials that was considered quite difficult was the Basidiomycota material. This difficulty is because the Basidiomycota material has many species, there are many terms, and there is a lack of teaching materials. Based on the results of the analysis, appropriate learning methods are needed and to maximize them, they are assisted by teaching materials. This research aims to determine the needs of lecturers and students for Case Study-based Basidiomycota Interactive E-Modules by Integrating QR Codes. This research is a qualitative descriptive study carried out at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Jambi University from May to June 2023. The subjects of this research are lecturers who teach mycology courses and students of the Jambi University FKIP Biology Education Study Program who contract the Mycology course. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires in the form of Google forms and interviews. The results of the analysis of the needs of lecturers teaching mycology courses show that mycology learning is generally carried out using discussion methods assisted by media in the form of powerpoint (PPT). The results of the analysis of student needs indicate that Basidiomycota material is one of the materials that is difficult to study in mycology courses. It was concluded that lecturers and students need a Case Study-based Basidiomycota Interactive E-Module by integrating QR Code.Key words: Learning media, Learning methods, Mushrooms, Teaching materialsAbstrakMikologi merupakan salah satu mata kuliah di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Jambi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, salah satu materi yang dianggap cukup sulit yaitu materi Basidiomycota. Kesulitan tersebut dikarenakan materi Basidiomycota memiliki banyak spesies, terdapat banyak istilah, dan kurangnya bahan ajar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dibutuhkan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dan untuk memaksimalkannya dibantu dengan bahan ajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan dosen dan mahasiswa terhadap E-Modul Interaktif Basidiomycota berbasis Case Study dengan Mengintegrasikan QR Code. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Jambi pada bulan Mei hingga Juni 2023. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dosen pengampu mata kuliah mikologi dan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Jambi yang mengontrak mata kuliah Mikologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket berupa google form dan wawancara. Hasil analisis kebutuhan dosen pengampu mata kuliah mikologi diketahui bahwa pembelajaran mikologi umumnya dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode diskusi yang dibantu dengan media berupa powerpoint (PPT). Hasil analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa menyebutkan bahwa materi Basidiomycota merupakan salah satu materi yang sulit dipelajari pada mata kuliah mikologi. Abstract

Utilization of biodiversity includes the use of plants in the fields of clothing, shelter, food, cosmetics, medicine, economy, and culture. Activities that must be carried out by teachers and students on the Submatter of Biodiversity Utilization are analyzing observation data on various levels of biodiversity, threats and preservation. This study aims to determine the feasibility of flashcard media as an implementation of the ethnobotany results of the traditional ceremony of the Dayak Seberuang tribe of Kantuk Hulu Hamlet made for learning media on the Biodiversity Submaterial of Class X SMA. The research was conducted in 3 schools, namely Santun UNTAN High School, Taman Mulia High School and SMAN 2 Pontianak and at FKIP Tanjungpura University Pontianak. Flashcard media validation was carried out by 3 Biology teachers and 2 Biology Education Lecturers consisting of 5 aspects and 11 criteria. The validation results obtained a CVI value of 0.99. Flashcard media is declared valid or feasible to use as learning media.   Abstrak. Pemanfaatan keanekaragaman hayati termasuk pemanfaatan tumbuhan dalam bidang sandang, papan, pangan, kosmetik, obat-obatan, ekonomi, dan budaya. Kegiatan yang harus dilakukan oleh guru dan peserta didik pada Submateri Pemanfaatan Keanekaragaman Hayati adalah menganalisis data hasil observasi tentang berbagai tingkat keanekaragaman hayati, ancaman dan pelestariannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media flashcard sebagai implementasi dari hasil etnobotani upacara adat suku Dayak Seberuang Dusun Kantuk Hulu yang dibuat untuk media pembelajaran pada Submateri Keanekaragaman Hayati Kelas X SMA. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di 3 Sekolah yaitu di SMAS Santun UNTAN, SMAS Taman Mulia dan SMAN 2 Pontianak serta di FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Validasi media flashcard dilakukan oleh 3 orang guru mata pelakaran Biologi dan 2 orang Dosen Pendidikan Biologi yang terdiri dari 5 aspek dan 11 kriteria. Hasil validasi mendapatkan nilai CVI 0,99. Media flashcard dinyatakan valid atau layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.
