Abstract

The purpose of the study is to measure the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and Sustainability Disclosures on Firm Value. In this study, there are 22 companies that made the object of research from 31 banking companies. In order to measuring the Good Corporate Governance and Sustainability Disclosures, the author use an index that use on Tember, Bernardus’s (2012) research by eliminating the indicator that less significantly affect the Firm Value and GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Index with using Linear Regression, F-Test and t-Test.The test result in this study shows that Good Corporate Governance have a significant effect on Firm Value. This shows that the better Good Corporate Governance will increase the Firm Value, otherwise if Good Corporate Governance get worse, it will decrease the Firm Value. Otherwise, Sustainability Disclosure doesn’t have significant effect on Firm Value it caused by the lack of Sustainability disclosure by companies which causes the Firm Value decreases.Keywords: GCG, Sustainability Disclosures, Global Reporting Initiative

Abstract

This research was conducted at Bank Central Asia KCU Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction of the employees ' performance and also to find out whether there is a shared influence motivation and job satisfaction of employees of Bank Central Asia performance KCU Pekanbaru. The variables used are motivation and job satisfaction as the independent variable and the dependent variable as employee performance. The populations in this study are all employees of Bank Central Asia remain KCU Pekanbaru. Up to the year 2013 employees remain in Bank Central Asia KCU Soweto was 119 people and everything will be made as a sample, so the method of data collection is done with Sampling Purposive to all employees of Bank Central Asia KCU Pekanbaru. Methods of data analysis used were multiple linear regressions using SPSS version 17.Based on the results from study and discussion of the mind that the motivation and job satisfaction the significant effect of simultaneous performance of Bank Central Asia KCU Pekanbaru (F Test). Motivation and job satisfaction are also influential in partial Performance of Bank Central Asia KCU Pekanbaru (t-test). This indicates that all the independent variables examined have significant influence both partially or the dependent variable with respect to simultaneous.Keywords: Work Motivation, job satisfaction and Employee Performance

Abstract

Increase rate of migration to Riau especially Pekanbaru city cause an increase and growth fitness industry in Pekanbaru led to competititon between companiesnthat is getting touger. This research that aims to describe how strategy that gives an advantage in competition with Spartan Gym Pekanbaru, to analysis environment condition of external and internal by used SWOT analysis and plan alternative strategy to Spartan Gym Pekanbaru at Jl. Wonosari No.6 Pekanbaru. Method that we used in this research is qualitative method. The result of research shows internal factor of Spartan Gym pros is the image of company that have know, company’s uniqueness, facilities and qualities good service, cozy and clean room, and the cons is the location is not strategic, low marketing, the customer service is not friendly and undifferent service. While from the external factor is chance to open new branch, opportunity to cooperation with the other, competitor and the new rival. Based on that factors, Spartan Gym stand on defensive position where company have to do their concentration defensive strategy or focus to plan to business development for Spartan Gym Pekanbaru as fitness center.Keywords : Analysis of competitive advantage, SWOT Analyis, and fitness center.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Agung Automall branch of Soekarno-Hatta in the Soekarno-Hatta Arengka road No.13, Pekanbaru. Objective to analyze the influence of intinsik motivation, development and compensation on performance marketing employees at PT Agung Automall Branch Soekarno Hatta simultaneous and partial. And to know the variables that influence the most powerful employee on performance marketing PT Agung Automall Soekarno-Hatta Pekanbaru Branch of variable intrinsic motivation, development and compensation. To achieve that goal done research using a sample of the population and 52 people. Method of data collection is the questionnaire. The Data were processed using the technique of multiple linear regression analysis of data and with the help of computer software, SPSS. Based on the results of the analysis note that the variables intrinsic motivation, development and compensation effect significantly to performance marketing. The variable that has the most powerful influence on performance is variable development. As the author can submit recommendations to further enhance the more intrinsic motivation, compensation and employee development marketing. Because in these variables greatly influence the performance of marketing employees in the exercise of activities in companies. To further improve the employee's performance marketing again to maximum, the company should pay more attention to intrinsic motivation and compensation of employees by way of creating a conducive working environment as well as increased incentives.Keywords: Intrinsic Motivation, Development, Compensation and Employee Performance

Abstract

Formulation of the problem in writing this essay is What motivation and leadership simultaneously affect the job satisfaction of employees at PT Adira Finance Cabang Pekanbaru? Is partial motivation affect the job satisfaction of employees at PT Adira Finance Cabang Pekanbaru? Is leadership a partial effect on job satisfaction of employees at PT Adira Finance Cabang Pekanbaru? The population of this study were employees of PT Adira Finance Cabang Pekanbaru, amounting to 268 people. In Slovin sampling method is used to obtain as many as 71 respondents. To determine the perceptions of the dimensions of job satisfaction, the method of data analysis used in this study is using the method of Multiple Linear Regression, F test and t test. Results of research and testing simultaneously known simultaneously, variable motivation , leadership significant effect on satisfaction. There are indicators with an average low of leadership and employee relationships, where employees feel a lack of harmony in the relationship between leaders and subordinates. The results of the study partially motivated significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Motivation in the form of superiors to subordinates approach has not been felt by employees, especially supervisors indifference. In addition, awards to employees who do not perform. Thus, employees who have no achievements strive to continually improve performance resulting into decreased job satisfaction. The results of the research for leadership variables partially significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Low motivation of employees in marketing products proactively savings, lack of initiative, and are still waiting for not doing proactive strategy. If this is allowed to continue would result in a decrease of performance appraisal which impact on the compensation received by the employee so as to reduce employee job satisfaction.Keywords : Motivation, Leadership, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

The research was conducted on PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir in order to determine the influences of Work Leadership and work communication either simultaneously or partially on Employee Productivity in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir.Total sample of 74 respondents on PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir. The sampling technique used is stratified random side and Path analysis method by using SPSS version 20. Simultaneous regression (F test) showed that the independent variables studied (Work Leadership and Work Communication) together (simultaneously) have a significant influence on the dependent variable (employee Productivity). The magnitude of the influence that (R2) by the two independent variables together against the dependent variable, while the remaining is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The results of the testing that has been done, the partial regression test (t test) showed that each of the independent variables that Work Leadership doesn’t give significant influence on employee Productivity. work communication have significant influence on employee work productivity, and together have a significant effect on the productivity of employees and work leadership significantly influence employee productivity via work communication. So from the results of this research in employee productivity variables that must be improved is the Completion of work on time, the leadership variables that must be improved is the essence of giving exemplary, whereas the communication variables that should be improved is the attitude of supporting structures such as creating an easy flow of communication between fellow employees contacted by employees and leaders.Keywords: Work Leadership, Work Communication, Employee Productivity.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the performance of MCC employees at PT. Wilmar Vegetable Dumai with the aim to analyze the effect of variable motivation and leadership , employee performance against MCC at PT . Wilmar Bio- Dumai. Sampling was conducted using a census or a sample of 114 people saturated in use as a sample of respondents , the analysis method used is descriptive quantitative methods , data analysis carried out simultaneously and partial ( multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 19.0 ). From the results of simultaneous testing ( Test F ) , shows that all the independent variables studied had a significant impact on employee performance variables mcc . Partial regression test (t test ) showed that motivation variables significantly influence employee performance mcc at PT . Wilmar Bio- Dumai . The magnitude of the effect caused by these three variables together against the dependent variable was 96.4 % , this means that the variable motivation , and leadership , together affect employee performance variable with the percentage of 94.6 % mcc . While 3.6 % , influenced by other factors not participate in this study . Thus , it can be concluded that the motivation and leadership variables simultaneously and partially positive and significant impact on the performance of employees mcc at PT . Wilmar Bio- Dumai . In addition , also the motivation variable is a variable that has more influence on employee performance when compared with variable leadership .Keywords : Motivation , Leadership and employee performance mcc

Abstract

This research is conducted to test the influences of family and reference group which are contained of Friendship, Working, Purchase, Consumer-action, and Web Group towards purchase intention of Garnier Men cosmetics in Pekanbaru. Samples of this research are Garnier Men’s consumer from both teenagers and men in Pekanbaru. Samples are chosen by using some sort of method and it were both only self-purchase and mature user above 17 years old. In this research, linear regression method is chosen for data analysis by SPSS version 20 and the the result shows that there are some affecting variables which didn’t significantly affect purchase intention of Garnier Men cosmetics in Pekanbaru. Family and Friendship Group are the only affecting variables that significantly affect purchase intention of Garnier Men in Pekanbaru.Keywords: Family, Reference Group, Friendship, Working, Purchase, Consumeraction, Web, Purchase Intention

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effects of Family and Group References that consist of Friend Group, Work Group, Purchasing Group, Consumer-Action Group, and Web Group on Purchase Decision of Vaseline Men Cosmetics in Pekanbaru. The samples of this study were taken from Vaseline Men users, which were teenagers and grown men in Pekanbaru. The samples were chosen only Vaseline Men Consumers that buying it by themshelves (not gifting or presents), and consumers that at least 17 years old above to fill the questionnaires. The data analysis used were multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS ver. 20. The results of the test showed that not all of the variables had a significant effect on Purchase Decision of Buying the Vaseline Men Cosmetics in Pekanbaru. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare the both bankruptcy predict models between Logistic and Bank Indonesia bankruptcy model. We use secondary data in which get from Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). Purpose sampling is used to get the sample. T-test paired sample is used to analyse the data. The result shows that both of the models have different result in predicting of bankruptcy. Futhermore, we suggest to use Bank Indonesia bankruptcy model to predict bankruptcy because the result is more accurate than the Logistic model.Keywords: Logistic and Bank Indonesia bankruptcy model, bankruptcy
