Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and discipline of employees working on the performance of PT. Babussalam Baru Marketing Department. As for the population in this study is part of a marketing employee who numbered 68 people and made entirely in the study sample using census method. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis, but it is also a quantitative analysis that is using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 22. From the results of the testing that has been done, simultaneous regression test ( F-test ) showed that motivation and discipline and simultaneously significant effect on employee performance. Partial test results ( t test ) showed that motivation and discipline variables significantly influence the performance of the employees of PT. Babussalam Baru. Based on the results of the analysis carried out then the company should further improve the way employees work for the performance of employees can be improved further. The company also had to increase employee motivation by improving the policy so that it can be accepted by the employee, in addition to the discipline employees must also be increased again in order, so that the employee earnest and serious in completing the work.Keywords : Motivation, Discipline and Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research to explain the effects of Training and Work Motivation simultaneously and partially on Employee Performance at The Branch of Pekanbaru This research used pimary data that obtained from interviews and the questionnaire to all employees at The Branch of Pekanbaru Secondary data relating to organizational structure. Population in this research were all employees that consist of 81 people. Methods of analysis used in this research is the method of multiple linear regression.The results of the testing that has been done, simultaneous regression test (uji-F) suggests that Training and Work Motivation variables simultaneously have significant effect on Employee Performance. On the partial test (uji-t) results indicate that the variables of Training and Work Motivation are partially significant efeect on Employee Performance. This writer concluded that the variable of Training and Work Motivation simultaneously and partially influenced positively and significantly toward Employee Performance PT. PLN (Persero) the Branch Of Pekanbaru.Keywords : Training, Work Motivation and Employee Performance

Abstract

This research held in PT. Dimensi Barumas Perdana Pekanbaru. This research held in order to analyze the influence of training and organization culture to employees’ work behaviour. Population are all employees, consist of 69 people. Considering the number limitation so sampling method used is census that covers all employee as the respondents.Variables used are training and organization culture as independent dan employees’ work behaviour as dependent. Data analyzed by using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis by using SPSS 19 for windows. Result of this study shows that simultenously both organization culture and leadership significantly influence employees’ work behaviour. However, partially, only training gives significant effect to employees’ work behavior, while organization culture though positively but gives no significant effect to employees’ work behavior. Employee’s work behavior is quite effected by the effectivity of training and the implementation of organization culture as up to thirty six percent of employees’ work behavior is determined by the variation of training and organization culture. It is recommended to company to conduct training pre-analysis before setting the training agenda up, socializing organization culture values in every daily briefing and implementing a reward and punishment program that may encourage more positive work behavior.Keywords: Training, Organization Culture and Work Behavior

Abstract

This research was conducted in PT. Gita Riau Makmur Pekanbaru located on Jl. KH Nasution km. 12 Pekanbaru, using secondary data to collect data in the form of documentation, records and other data that supports research related to data rates, promotional costs, the cost of personal selling, and sales volume. The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of simultaneous partial and variable prices, the cost of promotion, personal selling expenses to sales volume PT. Gita Riau Makmur Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the study indicate that either simultaneously or in partial price as (X1), the variable cost of promotion as (X2) and the cost of personal selling as (X3) significantly affect the sales volume variable (Y) products Hino Dump Truck in PT. Gita Riau Makmur Pekanbaru. The biggest price increases occurred in 2008 with a percentage of 48.81%. Although the percentage increase in the price of this aspect fluctuated. However, the increase in price in accordance with the features, reliability and excellence Hino Dump Truck products are furtherenhanced by the new technology brings different from other brand variants Promotional costs were highest in 2010 with a percentage of 44.96%. This is done to create attraction in terms of price, because in 2010 the company faced competitive pressures with the company. Personalselling costs were highest in 2007 which reached 62.90% this is because in 2007 there are some new products are launched, thus making the company more promotion costs and spend more to market the new product through personal selling efforts for more effective and capable inincreasing the sales of new products such as dealing directly with consumers. Advice can be given to the management is to maintain and increase the cost of the ad is scalable to be able to increase sales of the company, considering this variable is significant and positive effect on sales, prioritize budget on sales promotion activities, partially considering a more significant impact on sales compared with other variables.Keywords : Price, Promotion Cost, Personal Selling Costs and Sales Volume.

Abstract

This research held in PT. Delta Internusa Pekanbaru in order to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and job characteristics to employees’ commitment. Population are all employees, consist of 53 people among all division. Considering the number limitation so sampling method used is census that covers all employee as the respondents. Data analyzed by using multiple linier regression analysis by using SPSS 17 for windows.Result of this study shows that both job satisfaction and job characteristics significantly influence, either in simultenously or partially, to employees’ commitment. Among both independent variables, employee’s commitment is more dominant effected by job satisfaction rather than job characteristics. It is recommended to company determine a transparant indicator of career development, creating a comfort work-space and conducting a consistant employee development program. It is also recommended to hold temporary job rotation among all employees on to other division.Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Job Characteristic and Employee’s Commitment

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the effect of supervision and competence variables simultaneously and partially on the performance of employees at Permai Hotel Pekanbaru. As for the sample in this study were employees of Hotel Permai Pekanbaru with a sample of 50 people and all populations sampled in this study . Data analysis using descriptive analysis , but it is also a quantitative analysis that is using multiple linear regression with SPSS ( Services For Product and Solution Statistics ) version 20. From the results of the testing that has been done, simultaneous regression test (F-test) showed that the supervision and competence simultaneously affect the performance of employees. Partial Test Results (t test) showed that the control variable is partially significant effect on employee performance, and competence variables partially significant effect on employee performance means better supervision and competence of the employees will be able to affect the performance of Hotel Permai. From the test results R square is known that the influence of the Performance Monitoring and Competence Permai Hotel employees by 70.1% and the rest is influenced by other variables not examined.Keywords : Supervision, Competency and Performance

Abstract

The study was conducted at PT. Riau Muda Jasasarana Pekanbaru with the aim of analyzing the influence of leadership and compensation on employee morale. The study population was all employees of the company, amounting to 71 people. Determination of the census sample. Data analysis methods used are descriptive and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 17 for windows. The results showed that leadership and compensation have a significant effect simultaneously and partially on morale. Compensation is a dominant factor affecting employee morale. Morale of 98.5% can be explained by the variation that occurs in leadership and variable compensation. Recommendations can be given is that the management of the company to implement new aspects of leadership, especially leadership ability in forming cooperation, provide guidance and motivation to subordinates. In terms of compensation, most aspects need to be improved is the distribution of proportional bonus, fair and consistent.Keywords: Morale, Leadership and Compensation

Abstract

This research is to aimed to analize the factors measured by CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), ROA (Return On Assets), NPL (Non performing Loan), BOPO (operating expense to operating revenue ratio) and DPK (third party fund) that influence SMEs loan disbursement in Indonesian commercial banks that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2010 to 2012. There are 32 banking companies listed in IDX for period 2010-2012 which have been selected. The analyze technique used to test the hypothesis in this study is multiple regression. The result concluded that simultaneously CAR, ROA, NPL, BOPO and DPK influence the SMEs lending. Partially, DPK has positive significance influence to SMEs lending; meanwhile, CAR, ROA, NPL and BOPO have no significance influence to SMEs lending.Keywords : Lending, SMEs, CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), ROA (Retun On Asset), NPL (Non Performing Loan), BOPO (operating expense to operating revenue ratio), DPK (third party fund)

Abstract

Research held in Badan Kepegawaian Negara Kantor Regional XII Pekanbaru. The ai of this study is to analyze the effect of leadership and competency to organizational effectiveness. Samples consist of whole 52 employees of BKN Kantor Regional XII. Data analyzed by using multiple linier regression with SPSS 17 for windows. The study reveals that both leadership or competency partially and simultaneously influenced significantly to organizational effectiveness. Leadership is proven affecting organizational effectiveness stronger than competency. It is recommended to enhance organizational effectiveness by guaranting the process of an effective leadership. Employees’ competency is also need to be enhanced by conducting job rotation, training and providing a competence-based incentives.Keywords: Leadership, Competency and Organizational Effectiveness

Abstract

The best service and quality is very helpful in order to maintain consumer Indika Kreasindo Event Organizer. The aim of this study was to determine the quality of services provided by Indika Kreasindo Event Organizer to their subscriber gaps between customer expectations regarding the quality of services provided by the company to the customer. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to customers Indika Kreasindo Event Organizer randomly selected to obtain the original data on expectations and performance that can indicate the level of customer satisfaction. This questionnaire is a tool used in the method servqual (Parasuraman et.al), consists of 30 of the questions that have been adapted to Indika Kreasindo event organizer and have tested the validity and relibitasi expectations and performance of the 72 consumers.From the research that has been done, the quality of service is obtained consisting of physical evidence (tangible), empathy (empathy), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), guarantee (assurance) is positive, this indicates that the quality of service Indika good Kreasindo Event Organizer partially and simultaneously meet customer expectations. In this study the most influential variable is the variable reliability (X3) with a value of 11.151. The advice given to the Event Organizer Indika Kreasindo is that maintaining the service dimension that already meet consumer expectations.Keywords: Quality of Service and Customer Satisfaction.
