Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Effects of Extrinsic Motivation, Discipline of Work and Work Environment on Employee Productivity at PT. Bratasena Plantation. In this study the authors use independent variables is extrinsic motivation (X1), work discipline (X2) and work environment (X3), as the dependent variable productivity (Y). Slovin technique is used to obtain the sample population. To analyze our data, we used multiple regression analysis. testing while t-test, f-test and coefficient of determination (R2) is used to test our hypothesis. From the research that has been done with multiple linear regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS version 21, it can be concluded that extrinsic motivation, work discipline and work environment positive and significant impact on work productivity with the formula Y = -0.246 + 0.733 (X1) + 0.169 (X2) + 0.104 (X3) and the contribution of Fwhich amounted to 67.825 against the dependent variable and the significant level of 0.000Keywords : Extrinsic Motivation, Work Discipline, Work Environment and Work Productivity

Abstract

In the face of stiff competition in the world education, SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan strive to improve the quality of school, including by improved performance of teachers with pay attention to the factors of leadership and professionalism. Being a teacher without good leadership and professionalism will make teacher performance is reduced and planning or target is not reached.Sampling in this study conducted a census in which all members of the population sampled then obtained 49 samples. Research done by giving questionnaires to be filled up to all the teachers at SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan, then the results were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively as well as partial and simultaneous (multiple regression analysis with SPSS).The analysis showed that there is a significant and positive effect between the variables of leadership and professionalism of the teacher’s performance in SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan either partially or simultaneously. The most dominant variable in affecting the teacher’s performance is professionalism. Of the conclusions that have been obtained, the researchers gave some suggestion in this research that teachers are expected to keep increasing the motivation and skills to advance education, always develop insight expertise and knowledge through a variety of media education. In addition, the principal of SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan to be more assertive in the discipline or teachers.Keywords: Performance of Teachers, Leadership, Professionalism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh rasio perputaran kas, rasio perputaran piutang dan rasio perputaran persediaan terhadap tingkat kebutuhan modal kerja bersih perusahaan industri primer dan perusahaan industri sekunder. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan industri yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2005-2010 dengan sampel penelitian yang terdiri dari 50 perusahaan industri primer dan 250 perusahaan industri sekunder yang akan diteliti secara terpisah. Jenis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder, dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Variabel penelitian adalah variabel independen yang terdiri atas rasio perputaran kas, rasio perputaran piutang serta rasio perputaran persediaan dan variabel dependen yang terdiri atas tingkat kebutuhan modal kerja bersih. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS statistik versi 17 melalui uji deskriptif data, uji normalitas dan uji regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa rasio perputaran kas, rasio perputaran piutang dan rasio perputaran persediaaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kebutuhan modal kerja bersih pada perusahaan industri primer dan perusahaan industri sekunder yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2005-2010.Kata Kunci: Rasio Perputaran Kas, Rasio Perputaran Piutang, Rasio Perputaran Persediaan dan Tingkat Kebutuhan Modal Kerja Bersih

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the significant impact of capital structure, profitability, liquidity, and Insider Ownership toward firm value in consumer goods companies which are listed since 2008 up to 2012. Population in observational it is all consumer goods companies listed on Indonesian’s Stock Exchange of 2008 until periods 2012. Sample did by purposive sampling method. With the sampling method is obtained samples used in this research were 31 consumer goods companies. Types of data used is secondary data of Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). Analysis technique used in this research is the technique of multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research are show that in simultan, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Qiuck Ratio (QR), and Insider Ownership are influance toward firm value, as parcial only Net Profit Margins (NPM) is significant effect on firm value.Keywords : DER, NPM, QR,Insider Ownership and Firm Value

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the difference of the purchase decision between the motorcycle Honda Supra X 125R with Yamaha Jupiter MX 125 LC on dimensions of marketing mix at Faculty of Economics’s students Riau University in Pekanbaru . Population in this research are Faculty of Economic’s students Riau University who owns the motorcycle Honda Supra X 125R and Yamaha Jupiter MX 125 LC. Sample derivation using purposive sampling. The number of sample are 100 peoples, that consist of 50 respondents who own the motorcycle Honda Supra X 125R, and 50 respondents who own the motorcycle Yamaha Jupiter MX 125 LC. The method of data analysis are using descriptive analysis and paired t-test. The results that showed in this research is, there are significant differences in purchase decision between the motorcycle Honda Supra X 125R and Yamaha Jupiter MX 125 LC on dimensions of marketing mix at Faculty of Economics’s students Riau University in Pekanbaru. The results showed that the value of purchase decision on dimensions of marketing mix is higher on the motorcycle Honda Supra X 125R compared with the motorcycle Yamaha Jupiter MX 125 LC, which promotion has the highest significant differences between them.Keywords : Marketing Mix, Purchase Decision

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the variables influence Placement and Work Behavior simultaneously and partially on the Environment Agency employee performance Rokan Hulu. The samples in this study were as many as 60 people, the determination of the number of samples based on census method. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis, but it is also a quantitative analysis that is using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 18. From the results of the testing that has been done, simultaneous regression test ( F-test ) showed that the Work Placement and Behavior simultaneously jointly significant effect on employee performance. Partial Test Results (t test ) showed that the variable placement of partially significant effect on employee performance, and variables Work Behavior partially significant effect on employee performance. The magnitude of the effect caused by these three variables together against the dependent variable was 70.9 %, this means that the variable placement, and work behavior, jointly affect the performance of employees. While 29.1 %, affected by other factors that are not involved in this study.Keywords: Performance , Placement , Job Behavior

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of the work environment on the performance of the company through employee job satisfaction in PT. Bank Artha Graha Tbk Pekanbaru, to determine the effect of work environment on job satisfaction in PT. Bank Artha Graha Tbk Pekanbaru, and to determine the effect of work environment on performance in PT. Bank Artha Graha Tbk Pekanbaru. The sampling method using a sample using random sampling techniques, namely the sampling techniques that provide equal opportunities to the members of the population to be able to become members of the sample. Determination of the number of samples is done by using the formula in Riduwan Slovin (2005:65). From the calculations, the number of samples as many as 52 employees at PT. Bank Artha Graha Tbk Pekanbaru. Data collection methods used observations are researchers involved with the everyday person being observed or used as a source of research data, the questionnaire was carried out data collection techniques of data by compiling a list of questions and then pass it to the respondents in the study, and this documentation techniques used to obtain data from the company, especially knowing the state of the company. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the use of data each variable, testing the quality of data, and path analysis.The results showed that the relationship between work environment on performance through employee job satisfaction in PT. Bank Artha Graha Tbk Pekanbaru is very strong at (r = 0.083). The coefficient of determination or R-square is a figure of -, 007. For multiple linear regression should use the adjusted R square Adjusted R square or written, as adjusted by the number of independent variables were used, whereby if the independent variable 1 (one) then use the R-square and if it exceeds 1 (one) using the adjusted R square . Adjusted R square is equal to - .034 this means that 64.4% of the variation in the dependent variable of performance and job satisfaction of employees at PT. Bank Artha Graha Tbk Pekanbaru which can be explained by the independent variables work environment while the rest is explained by other variables.Keywords: Work Environment, Performance and Job Satisfaction

Abstract

This study performed on mother child hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru. This study destination to determine how the variables influence and leadership training simultaneously and partially on the performance of nurses on mother child hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru. As for the population in the study was the nurses who work on mother child hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru which amounts to 69 people. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis, as it also uses namely Quantitative Analysis using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 17.0. From the results of the testing that has been done, simultaneous regression test or F test showed that the training and leadership have a significant effect on the performance of nurses. The results of the partial test or T test showed that the training variables partially significant effect on the performance of nurses. And leadership variables partially significant effect on performance. Of the independent variable is known that training has a dominant influence on the performance.Keywords: performance, training and leadership

Abstract

The aims of this reseacrh is to examine the effect of Institusional Ownership, Size, Leverage and Dividend Policy on Firm Value. The sample of this reseach is taken from Property and Real Estate firms which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2009 until 2012. Purposive sampling method is used to get the samples, and from 59 firms that we observed, we get 40 firm as the samples. To analyze the data Multiple Linier Regression, F- test, and t- test analysis with using SPSS 20. The result shows that all variables simultaneously and significanly affected toward firm value. However, t- test analysis indicates that only leverage that has significant effect on firm value.Keywords : Institusional Ownership, Size, Leverage, Dividend Policy and Firm Value

Abstract

The research was conducted at PT. Riau Crumb Rubber Factory in Pekanbaru No.63 at Kampung Suka Ramai street road. That aims to determine how Effect of Discipline work and Observation either simultaneously or partially on Safety and Health of Employee Part of Production at PT. Riau Crumb Rubber Factory in Pekanbaru. The population in this research is employee of PT. Riau Crumb Rubber Factory Part of Production in Pekanbaru, which amounts to 153 employee, and the sample is 60 employee. The Analytics Method is Descriptif of Quantitative Method with SPSS 18.00 version. Simultaneous regression test (F test) showed that the independent variables simultaneously disciplines work and observation has a significant influence on safety and health of employee. The magnitude of the effect that the coefficient of determination (R2) by the two variables simultaneously on the dependent variable while the remaining 69%, 31% influenced by other variables not examined. Partial regression results (t test) showed that the dependent variable has an safety and health employee a significant effect on each of the independent variables studied were disciplines work and observation.Keywords: Discipline Work, Observation, and Safety adn Helth Of Employee
