Abstract

This study aims to explain the variable of Compensation and Working Environment on employee job satisfaction PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading (Persero) Tbk pekanbaru Branch and to determine which variables are dominant influences between two variables, influence Compensation and Working Environment simultaneously or partially on Employee Job Satisfaction in PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading (Persero) Tbk pekanbaru Branch. Method for collecting the samples is census sampling, the method that all members of the population are sample, 47 people. Data collection methods used were interview, documentation and questionnaire for employees in accordance with the research conducted. Method of Multiple Regression Analysis using SPSS 17.0 version. The results showed that Compensation and Working Environment significantly impact toward Employee Job Satisfaction in PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading (Persero) Tbk pekanbaru Branch. Contribution of the effect of the variable compensation and working environment toward employee job satisfaction in PT. Enseval Putera Megatrading (Persero) Tbk Pekanbaru Branch is 63.5% while 36.5% is influenced by other variables that not included in this study.Keywords : Compensation, Working Environment and Job Satisfaction

Abstract

The research was conducted at PT. Nafal Tiara Abadi Pekanbaru, with theaim to determine the effect of work discipline and work environment eithersimultaneously or partially on the performance of the production employee at PT. Nafal Tiara Abadi Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Nafal Tiara Abadi Pekanbaru totaling 42 people, and overall the employees sampled by census method. The method of data analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative method and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 18.0. The result showed that the work discipline and work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. The magnitude of the effect that (R2) by the two independent variables together against the dependent variable 70,4%, while the remaining 29,6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The results of the partial regression test (t test) showed that the work discipline and work environment has a partially significant effect on employee performance. As for the recommendation that the authors propose that need to be done at regular training to employees so that employees are able to operate the device properly, always pay attention to employee attendance and create a conducive working environment.Keywords : Work Discipline, Work Environment, and Employee Performance

Abstract

One of the means used to create employee loyalty to the company is compensated. Compensation is a form of payment or compensation granted to employees and arising out of employment of employees. In addition to compensation, another factor to consider is the physical working environment of the company, because it is very influential on the level of employee loyalty. This study was conducted to see the effect of compensation and the physical work environment on employee loyalty at PT. Jatim Jaya Perkasa Kebun Banjar Balam Indragiri Hulu. The population in this study were 130 employees of a day laborer remain registered in the PT. Jatim Jaya Perkasa Kebun Banjar Balam Indragiri Hulu. While the sample is taken by using Slovin formula which amounts to 98 respondents. The data was collected using a questionnaire that is then processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the employee has a pretty good level of loyalty to the company. This is because the employees feel that the compensation they received were quite satisfactory and working environment workplace is good enough. The results of the test to get the result that compensation and working conditions simultaneously and partially significant effect on employee loyalty at PT. Jatim Jaya Perkasa Kebun Banjar Balam Indragiri Hulu with the effect of 63,5%.

Abstract

This study was conducted at Hospital Eka Hospital Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of partial and simultaneous career development and job satisfaction. The number of samples in this study were 73 hospital nurses Eka Hospital Pekanbaru. From the results of the ttest with two-way career development is known that variable with a value of tcount> ttable or 6,475 > 2,00 so the career development of partial positive effect on organizational commitment. Furthermore, job satisfaction variable with a value of t > t table or 4,576 > 2,00 and thus job satisfaction partially positive effect on organizational commitment. F test results with values of Fcount = 41,624 and Ftable = 3,13 so F value is greater than the F table and a significance value of F is 0,000 less than the α value of 0,05. Thus, simultaneous career development and job satisfaction affects organizational commitment RS Eka Hospital Pekanbaru. Advice can be given to the hospital is expected Eka Hospital Pekanbaru in order to instill cultural values of the organization, provide information clearly and evaluate career and rearranging the placement of the system to match the position of nurses and nurse expertise. Furthermore, nurses are expected to strive for in order to prioritize the organization's willingness to put the interests of the affairs of the hospital in advance rather than private interests, more daring in the face of challenging work and mutual support among nurses.Keywords: Career Development, Job Satisfaction, OrganizationalCommitment

Abstract

This research aims to find the influence of leadership and organisational comitment on simultaniuos and partially to employee performance in Koperasi Karyawan Minyak Caltex di Rumbai Pekanbaru. The samples are top manager, middle manager and staff amount of 45 people. Analysis was performed using the multiple regresion analysis on Koperasi Karyawan Minyak Caltex di Rumbai Pekanbaru. The result of this research are; there are significant influence of leadership and organisational comitment on simultaniuos to employee performance with p value 0.013 < 0.05, there are no significant influence of leadership partially to employee performance with p value 0.350> 0.05 and there are significant influence of organisational comitment on partially to employee performance with p value 0.006 < 0.05. Adjusted R Square is 0.148 or 14.8%, employee performance are explained by leadership and organisational comitment and the are percentage the rest by another factors.Keywords : leadership style and organisational commitment and employee performance

Abstract

The hospital is one form of health facilities, both organized by the government and or the community. The success of a hospital in its function characterized by an increase in the quality of hospital services. Hospital quality so obtained by several factors. The most dominant factor is resource. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work stress on the performance of nurse -patient room class II and III on General Hospital (Hospital) Arifin Achmad Riau Province. The population of nurses around the hospital room class II and III who served in the last year ie in 2010 on General Hospital (Hospital) Arifin Achmad Riau province, as many as 216 people with a sampling of 68 people by using cluster sampling. The technique of collecting data through questionnaires were analyzed quantitatively. T-test results prove that there is a significant effect of work stress on the performance of nurse-patient room class II and III on General Hospital (Hospital) Arifin Achmad Riau inversely proportional to the nature of the effect. What this means is that the higher the stress level of nurses, the nurse's performance will decrease. It was determined that the effect of work stress on the performance of nurse-patient room class II and III on General Hospital (Hospital) Arifin Achmad Riau Province amounted to 41.8%. While the rest are not influenced by other variables studied.Keywords : Job Stress And Employee Performance

Abstract

The population and samples in this study is all employee about 82 people. The data recourses used were primary and secondary data. The data accumulation technique used were taken by doing interview and questionnaire. The method of analysis used were the method of quantitative descritive and multiple regression analysis (simultaneously and partially analysis) with the help of SPSS 19 version. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, simultaneously (together) three variables: emotional intelligence (X1) intelligence (X2) and discipline (X3) significantly affect the performance of nurses (Y). The degree of influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable can be determined by performing a partial test, the results obtained are: emotional intelligence variables (X1) significantly affects the performance of nurses variable (Y), intellectual variables (X2) significantly affects the performance of nurses variable (Y) and the discipline variable (X3) significantly affects the performance of nurses variable (Y).To the authors recommend that hospitals consider the factors that affect the performance of nurses as hospitals and nurses are working partners who need each other for survival of the hospitalKeywords: Emotional Intelligence, Intellectual Intelligence, Discipline and Performance nurse.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the direct and indirect effect of good corporate governance, bond rating with the investment opportunity and the capital structure on the companies participating in CGPI listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange 2009-2012. Purpose sampling method used to get our sample. Then, the analytical method used is path analysis in accordance with the purpose of research which analyzes the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The result shows that: (1) Good Corporate Governance Index and Bond Rating have a positive direct effect but not significant to the Investment Opportunity, (2) Corporate Governance Index has a positive direct effect but not significant to the Capital Structure, (3) Bond Rating have a negative direct effect and not significant to the capital structure, (4) Investment Opportunity have a negative indirectly effect and significant to the capital structure, (5) Good Corporate Governance Index and Bond Rating does not have an indirect effect to the Capital Structure through Investment Opportunity.Keywords : good corporate governance index, rating obligasi, investment opportunity, capital structure

Abstract

Underpricingis a phenomenon that of tenoccurs incompanies doing IPOsin the stock market and has been demonstrated by several previous researchers. This study aimsto examine the effect of firm size and good corporate governance inproxied is Audit Committee, Managerial Ownership and Institutional Ownership on the stockat the time of IPO Underpricing. This research conducted in companies doing IPO at Indonesia Stock Exchange in the non-financial companies in period of 2009–2012. Underpricing in this research is the dependent variable, while the independent variable in this research is the firm size and good corporate governance isproxied Audit Committee, Managerial ownership and Institutional Ownership. Sample is collected by using purposive random sampling, resulting in 54 companies assample. Multiple regression analysis model used to test relation between independent variables and dependent variable. Regression analysis shows that the variables of firm size and managerial ownership of IPO fund have negative and significant influence on the level of underpricing. While institusioal ownership and audit committee do not have significant influence to underpricing. This result had implication that: 1) companies doing IPO should consider the rirm size and managerial ownership of using IPO fund to attract investors and minimize the level of underpricing, 2) investors should consider both variables in their IPO investment decision in order to get higher returnKeywords: Underpricing, Initial Public Offering, Firm Size, Good Corporate Governance, Audit Committee, Managerial Ownership, Institutional Ownership
