Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the competence and commitment of the teacher in SMA Negeri 1 Bunut, Pelalawan, RIAU. The population of this study are all teachers of SMAN 1 Bunut which amounts to 44 people. The sampling technique using the method of taking the census respondents, where the number of samples taken are all teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Bunut . Pelalawan, RIAU. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analisis. These results indicatethat the competence and commitment of teachers significantly influence teacher performance SMA Negeri 1 Bunut. It can be seen from the two variablest value is greater than t table, respectively variables competence 3,003, variable commitment 2,390. Mean while, when these two variables simultaneously on the performance theacers SMA Negeri 1 BUNUT, then both significant effect on the dependent variable. It can be seen from the value off count greater than the table value of 30,850 f >3.226. Of lineare quation scanbe known constants of 6.234. Regression coefficient for competence 0.368 and commitment 0.346. Based on the value of the regression coefficients hows the most dominant variable is the variabel competence of 0,368.Keywords: Competence, Commitment, Performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and marketing mix to buying interest and purchase decisions on the Wall's ice cream in the city of Pekanbaru. This study used 102 samples. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis method is a way to test variables, regression test, and the last test path analysis or path analysis. From the results of testing that has been done, the magnitude of the coefficient of the variable influence of X1 (Brand Image) to variable Y2 (purchase decision) obtained for 0,102. While the t value at 4,208> 1,984 t table. While the magnitude of the coefficient of the variable influence of X2 (Marketing Mix) to variable Y2 (Purchasing Decisions) obtained for 0,124. While the t value of 3.233> t table 1984. Indirect relationship variables Brand Image and Marketing Mix to the purchase decision variable through variable interest in buying the Wall's ice cream Pekanbaru is greater than the result of a direct relationship variables Brand Image and Marketing Mix to the purchase decision variable through variable interest in buying the Wall's ice cream Pekanbaru. The magnitude of the coefficient of the variable influence of Y1 (Interests Purchase) to variable Y2 (Purchasing Decisions) obtained for 0,502. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of brand equity on the purchase decisions of consumers through brand preference Sony brand televisions in the city of Pekanbaru. This study used 112 samples. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis method is a way to test variables, regression test, and final test path analysis or path analysis. From the results of the testing that has been done, brand equity directly affect Consumer Buying Decision on Sony Television Products in Pekanbaru "is acceptable because the value of the regression is positive and t count> t table. Influential Brand Equity Against Indirect Consumer Purchase Decision Through Brand Preference on Sony Television Products in Pekanbaru "received as a result of the indirect effect of variables consisting of Brand Equity (Brand Awareness, Brand Association, Perceived Quality) on consumer purchasing decisions through more Brand Preference greater than the value of the direct influence of the variables consisting of Brand Equity (Brand Awareness, Brand Association, Perceived Quality) on consumer purchasing decisions through Brand Preference. So when variables consisting of Brand Equity (Brand Awareness, Brand Association, Perceived Quality) increased, it will cause an increase in the variable purchase decision and also the variable Brand Preference.Keywords: Brand Equity, Brand Preference, Purchase Decision

Abstract

This research aim to know how Work environment variable and discipline of work productivity PT. Rigunas Agri Utama Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. As for becoming population in this reseacrh is counted 53 people employees PT. Rigunas agri utama kabupaten indragiri hulu. Used data by analisys is descriptive, despitefully also use quantitative analisys that is using double linear regression constructively SPSS version program 16. From result of examination which have been simultan regresi test (uji-F) indicate that work environment variable and discipline by simultan have an effect on signifikan to work productivity. Result of test parsial (T-Test) indicating that work environment and discpline by parsial have an effect on signifikan of work productivity to PT. Abstract

The research conducted in hospitals Petala Bumi Pekanbaru. In order to determine the effect of competence and work environment simultaneously and partially on the performance of nurse in hospitals Petala Bumi Pekanbaru. Populations in this study are all part of inpatiend RSUD Petala Bumi nurse who total 35 people and the entire population by cencus method. Performed data analysis and quantitative descriptive  analysis using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 20. From the test results simultaneously (f-test) showed that the independent variables studied competence and work environment simultaneously significant effect on the performance of nurse and partial test result (t-test) showed that the variable competence and work environment is partially significant effect on the performance of nurse. Based on the coefficient of determination (R2) that the variable competence and work environment has an influence on the performance of nurses while the rest influenced by other variables not examined in this research. Suggestion can author is given to RSUD Petala Bumi is Hospital should further improve the competence and more attention to the work environment so that employes have a good performance and patient become more satisfied. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of partial and simultaneous variables job satisfaction and organizational commitment on the turnover intention of employees of PT. Ganda Buanindo. The study was conducted January 12, 2014 until July 22, 2014. In this study consists of three variables: the dependent variable and two independent variables. These variables are Turnover Intention (Y), Job Satisfaction (X1) Organizational Commitment (X2). The study was conducted using a sample of 96 people. Research using census techniques by giving questionnaires to the respondents. In terms of data analysis, research using qualitative methods and quantitative methods with SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 20.0.Unknown variables of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on turnover intention of employees of PT. Ganda Buanindo simultaneously and negative partially. Variables are the dominant influence on the turnover intention of employees of PT. Ganda Buanindo is job satisfaction. Thus it can be interpreted that the variable job satisfaction and organizational commitment negatively affect employee turnover intention at PT. Ganda Buanindo. So by increasing job satisfaction and organizational commitment of the employees are able to reduce the level of employee turnover intention at PT. Abstract

This study held in PT. Jasaraharja Putera Pekanbaru branch in order to analyze JP-Insurance customers’ dissatisfaction on vehicles insurance claim. The benefit of this study are expected to become an valueable input for PT. Jasaraharja Putera in order to comprehend all aspects which are still can’t satisfy customers, particularly in claim handling service. This study use primary and secondary data. Data collected by using questioner and interview method. Population are JP-Insurance customers. Sample is formulated by using Slovin and consists of 84 respondents which are then selected by using purposive sampling technique. Data descriptively analyzed by using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA).This study reveals that averagely respondents less satisfied with the claim handling done by PT. Jasaraharja Putera Pekanbaru branch. The most dissatisfaction are rated from loss survey (53%); claim documents (53,6%); premium check (55,9%) and loss report (60,7%). It is recommended to improve some claim handling aspects such as: flexible time of premium payment; claim payment during the lateness of premium payment; simplifying the accident information investigation; flexibility of replacement amount; simplifying to get claim forms and flexibility of claim documents preparation.Keywords: Insurance, Claim Handling, Service Quality, and Satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the variable of Leadership and Intrinstic Motivation to the Employee Performance at Cooperative Boarding School Darussalam Kecamatan Kabun Rokan Hulu.The sampling method in this study using census methods, which all members of the population used as a sample, which amounted to 37 people. Data collection methods used were interviews, documentation and providing questionnaires to employees in accordance with the research conducted. Method of Multiple Regression Analysis using SPSS version 17.0The results from this study showed that simultaneously Leadership variabel and Intrinsic Motivation significantly influence the Employee performance at Cooperative Boarding School Darussalam Darussalam Kecamatan Kabun Rokan Hulu. While partially leadership variables influence the performance of the performance, and as well as for intrinsic motivation variable partially influence on employee performance. From the research that has been conducted, the leaders of cooperative boarding school Darussalam should be able to direct the employee to work independently, must have a high level of patience, to be able to adjust to the employee and also to have a good communicating. From intrinsic motivation, cooperative boarding school Darussalam must give feedback, critics and appreciation to employees in order to achieve good performance.Keywords: Leadership, Intrinsic Motivation, Performance

Abstract

This study was performed on 21 UMKM noodles sago in District High Cliff Meranti Islands District Riau Province. This study aims to determine the factors that lead to non-fulfillment of the realization of the raw materials sago noodles and raw material inventory systems Analyzing sago noodles in terms of the economic order quantity and safety stock. In this study the types and sources of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data is directly gather from respondents that related to the research object in 21 UMKM. Secondary data were obtained from government agencies that Disperindag and Forestry and Plantation Meranti Islands District. Data analysis method used is descriptive method of analysis using the EOQ (economic order quantity) and safety stock (safety stock). The results of this study indicate that the factors that lead to unfulfilled realization sago noodle raw material is a source of raw materials and raw material prices. Application of the method of EOQ (economic order quantity) is not appropriate when applied to 21 UMKM noodles sago. menggigat several things: (1) raw material price of corn starch is not always constant. (2) The cost of ordering and storage costs that exist in UMKM. (3) The raw material of corn starch is not always available when UMKM need. In comparison with using the application of safety stock method (safety stock) more efficient, which is useful as a supplemental supply to protect the production process in the event of a shortage of raw materials due to the delay or uncertainty of the arrival of raw materials.   Keywords: Inventory, source of raw materials, raw material prices, EOQ, Safety Stock

Abstract

The quality of human resources is determined by the extent to which the system in the field of human resources able to support and satisfy the desires of the employees and the company. In improving the performance quality of human resources and quality is necessary to increase the knowledge, skills, change in attitudes, behavior and correction of deficiencies in accordance with the required performance. This study aims to look at the effect of training, work experience and competence on the performance of employees working at the Capital Siak Company.
