Abstract

Communication skills influence of science on students' mastery of physics concepts in a static fluid material, especially static fluid, which requires the student's ability to perform trial and analyze experimental results in order to assist them in understanding the concept. The teachers, who are involved in the process of teaching materials, need to choose the right way to do lab work. Through this technique, students create the concepts and solve problems easily. The purpose of this experiment was to determine the increase in student’s mastery of physics concepts using science communication skills and influence skills to communicate science to students' mastery of physics concepts in a static fluid material. Results of this study indicate that there is an increasing mastery of concepts by 0.55 and there is a linear effect of body skills to communicate science to the physics students' mastery of concepts by 14%. The degree of relationship between science communication skills and mastery of concepts have a influence strong relationship. Abstract

The development of this research was to make a multimedia tutorial with Macromedia Flash Proffesional 8th on learning Optics for senior high school. The procedures of this research were analyzing of needed, identifying of resources, identifying of product specifications, developing of products, testing of product feasibility (internal test), testing of user beneficial products (external test), and also the final producting. Products had been tested by design experts, material experts and students. The external results showed that the products are interesting, easy to use, and useful. The cognitive of the pupils result show that the developing of optics multimedia tutorial learning is effective and useable to be used as a media of learning.Penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan yaitu membuat multimedia tutorial dengan Macromedia Flash Professional 8 pada pembelajaran Optik untuk SMA/MA. Prosedur pengembangan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, mengindentifikasi sumber daya, mengindentifikasi spesifikasi produk, pen-gembangan produk, uji kelayakan produk (uji internal), uji kemanfaatan produk oleh pengguna (uji eksternal), dan produksi. Produk yang dikembangkan telah diuji oleh ahli desain dan ahli materi serta diujicobakan pada siswa. Hasil uji eksternal menunjukkan bahwa produk yang digunakan menarik, mudah di-gunakan, dan bermanfaat. Hasil belajar siswa menyatakan bahwa multimedia tutorial pembelajaran optik yang dikembangkan efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: pendekatan saintifik, pengembangan multimedia, tutorial

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop a multirepresentation-based students’ book which is attractive, easy, useful, and effective to be used as a learning media. The population of this research was the students of class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Rumbia. This developmental research contained five stages of work that comprised: analyzing product which is being developed, developing preliminary product, validation expert test and revision, field test in a small group and revision, and field test in a big group and final production. The testing scores of users’ response were 3,45 for attractiveness aspect with excellent category, 3,50 for easiness aspect with excellent category, and 3,44 for usefulness aspect with excellent category. The effectiveness test result was 81,2% with least accomplishments criteria (or KKM). These indicated that the student’s book is approved to be used as a learning media.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan buku siswa berbasis multirepresentasi yang menarik, mudah, bermanfaat, dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Siswa Kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Rumbia. Tahapan pengembangan terdiri dari lima yaitu: menganalisis produk yang akan dikembangkan, mengembangkan produk awal, validasi ahli dan revisi, uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan revisi produk, dan uji lapangan skala besar dan produk akhir. Hasil uji coba terhadap respon pengguna untuk aspek kemenarikan memperoleh skor 3,45 dengan kategori sangat baik, aspek kemudahan memperoleh skor 3,50 dengan kategori sangat baik, untuk aspek kebermanfaatan memperoleh skor 3,44 dengan kategori sangat baik. Sementara itu, hasil uji efektivitas mencapai 81,2% siswa tuntas KKM. Dengan demikian, buku siswa layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: buku siswa, dinamika rotasi, multirepresentasi, pengembangan

Abstract

Practice with electronic of simulator is well used as alternate electrity practise, so this practice will be optimal if using good practice guided or good student worksheet of practice. the research aims to develop the ICT based student work sheet of practice about electricity. This develop using Intruksional termodifikasi of develop model and steps this develop was needed analysis, resources identification, produk spesification identification, produk develop, internal test, eksternal test, and production. From analysis of attractiveness test, ease test, and expendiency test so produced this develop was attractiveness, ease, and expediency of student work sheet. From result of effectiveness test produced 87,09 % student achieving standar of minimum completeness criteria to prescribed, this indicates that student work sheet result of develop was effective to used as source of learning.Praktikum menggunakan simulator elektronika sangat baik digunakan sebagai praktikum alternatif kelistrikan, praktikum akan sangat optimal jika menggunakan penuntun praktikum atau lembar kerja siswa (LKS) praktikum yang baik. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKS praktikum kelistrikan berbasis TIK. Model pengembangan LKS ini menggunakan model pengembangan Intruksional termodifikasi dengan tahap-tahap berikut: Analisis kebutuhan, Identifikasi sumberdaya, Identifikasi spesifikasi produk, Pengembangan produk, Uji internal, Uji eksternal:, Produksi. Berdasarkan ujii kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan dihasilkan LKS yang menarik, mudah, dan bermanfaat sebagai sumber belajar. Dari hasil uji keefektifan 87,09% siswa mencapai standar kriteria ketuntasan minimal yang ditetapkan, hal ini menunjukkan LKS hasil pengembangan efektif digunakan sebagai sumber belajar.Kata kunci: Lembar Kerja Siswa , Praktikum, Simulator Elektronika

Abstract

The objectives of this development research were to produce LKS, and to know the effectiveness of science learning students worksheet with divinity and loving environment value contents. Observed by result of students’ learning that contain of knowledge, attitude, and skill aspects. These development steps are including of 7 steps: (1) the need of analysis; (2) the identification of resources; (3) the identification of product specification; (4) the product development; (5) the internal test; (6) the external test; and (7) production. The results product of this study are in the form of LKS with divinity and loving environment value contents which had been validated. The product had been evidented as effective based on result of students’ learning that had fulfilled of KKM at the VII-8 class of SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung.Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini untuk menghasilkan produk LKS pembelajaran sains, dan mengetahui efektivitas LKS pembelajaran sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa yang mencakup aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan. Tahap pengembangan ini meliputi 7 tahapan, yaitu: (1) analisis kebutuhan; (2) identifikasi sumber daya; (3) identifikasi spesifikasi produk; (4) pengembangan produk; (5) uji internal; (6) uji eksternal; dan (7) produksi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk berupa LKS bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan yang telah divalidasi. Produk dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa yang memenuhi KKM pada kelas VII-8 SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung.Kata kunci: LKS, nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan.

Abstract

A lot of physics lab equipments are not available at scholl. The development of ICT makes it possible to create such a virtual lab equipment. The purpse of this study is to develop a medium of learning the tools of ICT-based optics. Development methods used in this study adapted the model of development which include seven procedure development, namely: analysis of needs and characteristics of students, formulating learning goals, formulating the points of matter, preparing evaluation instruments, composing media texts, expert validation, field trials, and the final products. The product have been produced in the form of instructional media optical instruments that contain material, a virtual lab which is equipped with worksheets, exercises with answer keys, and test the competence that comes with the recording of values for each correct answer. The product has been tested in accordance with the theory of quality: very attractive, very easy to use, and highly usable and declared effective as learning media optical instruments in senior high school.Key words: development research, instructional media, and optical instruments.

Abstract

Physics science teaching in school and or madrassas is still dominated by the teacher. Active teachers teach and learners in a passive learning, active teachers describe physics formulas with the help of media learning in school. This leads to low learning outcomes, as well as the attitudes of students in the learning shown cenderong monotonous. This study aimed to determine the effect of metacognition skills on student learning outcomes and determine the effect on student attitudes metacognition skills through discovery learning method. The research was conducted in the classroom XIIIE SMP 28 Bandar Lampung the 36 students in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013 with material pressure. Sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling, research design used was a one-shot case study.Pembelajaran IPA Fisika di sekolah dan atau madrasah saat ini masih didominasi oleh kegiatan guru. Guru aktif mengajar dan peserta didik pasif dalam belajar, guru aktif menjabarkan rumus-rumus fisika dengan bantuan media pembelajaran yang ada di sekolah. Hal ini berdampak pada hasil belajar yang rendah, serta sikap yang ditunjukkan siswa dalam pembelajaran cenderong monoton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap sikap siswa melalui metode pembelajaran discovery. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XIIIE SMP Negeri 28 Bandar lampung yang berjumlah 36 siswa pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 dengan materi tekanan. Tehnik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu Purposive Sampling ,Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one-shot case study.Kata kunci: keterampilan metakognisi, hasil belajar, sikap, metode pembelajaran discovery

Abstract

This research aims to know average mastery students in Learning Skills through sika Internet process of Science (KPS) and the concept of Learning approach (PK). Experimental design on this research uses Kuasi Experimental Design with Posttest-Only type Control Design. Data analysis techniques mastery PK using an average score of an average mastery of concepts and hypothesis testing using the test for Independent Samples T Test, While the concept of mastery KPS data analysis using data based on the learning process of observation and hypothesis testing using the test for Independent Samples T Test.Based on concept mastery test obtained average mastery students in experimental class 1 (KPS approach) se be sar 90 (due diligence). On the experimental class 2 (PK approach) gained an average mastery students exactly sar 80 (completely). Based on the results of calculations known drift score concept mastery students in classes of KPS 79,32% (completely), while the average grade PK, known to score students ' mastery of 65,60% (completely).These results indicate that KPS approach more effectively used as an effort to promote mastery of the concepts students in learning.Keywords: Science Process Skills Approach (KPS), Concept Learning Approach (PK), mastery of the concepts students.

Abstract

The pre-study result showed that students perception to physic subject was this subject content has so many calculation and equations formula, long equations, solving complicated problems, and a boring subject. The objective of this research was to find out the syntax of learning model that able to train the students in scientific ability. This research procedure and development was adapted from Ashyar as a reference. The final product was a learning model syntax based on inquiry, observating to present problems, formulating problems, conducting experiments or other problem solving, conducting observation and data collecting, data analysis, drawing conclusion and discovering, exercising problems, grouping problems and material mastery test to find out the students responses. The one on one test result showed that the syntax quality was very interesting, easy to use, and useful for training students scientific ability. The field study test showed that 100% syntax was properly complete and 50.2% students were scientifically trained.Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan pandangan siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika banyak hitungan dan persamaan matematis yang panjang, pengerjaan soal-soal rumit, dan pembelajaran membosankan. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah memperoleh sintaks model pembelajaran yang dapat melatih kemampuan ilmiah. Prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengadaptasi dari Ashyar (2011) sebagai acuan. Produk akhir yang dihasilkan adalah sintaks model pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri yaitu, observasi untuk menyajikan masalah, merumuskan masalah, melaksanakan eksperimen atau cara pemecahan masalah yang lain, melakukan pengamatan dan pengumpulan data, analisis data, penarikan kesimpulan dan penemuan, soal latihan, soal kelompok serta uji penguasaan materi untuk mengetahui respon siswa. Hasil uji satu lawan satu menunjukkan kualitas sintaks sangat menarik, mudah digunakan, dan bermanfaat untuk melatih kemampuan ilmiah siswa. Hasil uji lapangan memperlihatkan bahwa 100% sintaks terlaksana dengan baik dan 50,2% siswa terlatih kemampuan ilmiahnya.Kata kunci: kemampuan ilmiah, penelitian dan pengembangan, sintaks model pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Learning process should be concerned to the students and didn’t set a teacher as the only one students’ learning source. This research compared the mean difference of students’ physics among talking stick learning technique and make a match learning technique. The objective of this study were to investigate the mean difference of learning achievement among talking stick learning technique and make a match learning technique and to find the class which got the higher learning achievement among the implementation of talking stick learning technique and make a match. This reserach used experiment design as research design with one-shot case study type. The research showed that there is the mean difference of students’ learning achievement by using cooperative teaching learning model among talking stick learning technique and make a match learning technique.Proses pembelajaran seharusnya berpusat pada siswa dan tidak lagi menempatkan guru sebagai satu-satunya sumber belajar siswa. Penelitian ini membandingkan hasil belajar fisika siswa antara teknik pembelajaran talking stick dengan make a match. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara teknik pembelajaran talking stick dengan teknik pembelajaran make a match dan mengetahui kelas mana yang memperoleh hasil belajar lebih tinggi antara penggunaan teknik pembelajaran talking stick dengan make a match. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian menggunakan bentuk Eksperimen Design dengan tipe One-Shot Case Study. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif antara teknik pembelajaran Talking Stick dengan teknik pembelajaran make a match.Kata kunci: teknik pembelajaran talking stick, teknik pembelajaran make a match, hasil belajar
