Abstract

This Research aims to determine: 1) Population growth, 2) Landuse changes, 3) Land carrying capacity changes in Boyolali District in the year 2003-2012, 4) The prediction of land carrying capacity in Boyolali District in the year 2022. The method that used in the research is descriptive quantitative. This research use stratified random sampling. The sample are: Zone of city frame: Boyolali, Mojosongo, Teras, Sawit, and Ngemplak, zone of city-village frame: Sambi and Klego, zone of village-city frame: Selo. Primary data were obtain from direct observation to know the landuse in boyolali district, and the secondary data obtained from the many kinds of instancess that appropriate to the data. The analysis and interpretation to the research data shown that: 1) The population growth in Boyolali District in the year 2003-2012 is low in the amount of 0,29% each year compared with national population growth in the amount of 1,49% each year. The biggest population growth is in Ngemplak Subdisdtrict with average of population growth is 0,73% each year and then Teras Subdistrict with average of population growth is 0,62% each year and the least is in Banyudono and Nogosari Subdistrict with the average of population growth is 0,01% each year. 2) Landuse changes in Boyolali District based on the subdistrict sample in the year 2006, 2009, and 2012, agriculture and moor landuse largery changes in to settlement area, and the other changes in to structure (building/factory), garden, and an empty land. The biggest changes is in zone of the city – village frame with the average of changes is 105,2 ha, and in the zone of the city frame with the average of changes is 38,6 ha, and the least is in zone of the village – city frame about 11,2 ha. 3) Carrying capacity in Boyolali District in the year 2003 – 2012 is surplus. In the zone of the city frame the land carrying capacity is deficit, in the zone of the city - village frame the land carrying capacity is deficit, in the zone of the village – city frame is surplus. 4) The prediction of land carrying capacity in the Boyolali District at 2022 is surplus. In the zone of the city frame 4 subsdistricts are surplus and the other 4 subsdistricts are deficit, in the zone of city – village frame is deficit, and in the zone of village – city frame is surplus.Keywords: Population Growth, Landuse, Land Carrying Capacity

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis are : (1) Identify of the need learning class X SMA N 1 Sragen 2016/2017, (2) To determine the feasibility of E-Book Problem Based Learning-GIS developed at SMA N 1 Sragen school year 2016/2017, (3) To know the increase of spatial thinking skills students value between before students used learning E-Book Problem Based Learning-GIS with after students used learning E-Book Problem Based Learning-GIS in the subject matter of Lithosfer in class X IPS SMA N 1 Sragen 2016/2017. This type of research is a Research and Development (R&D). R & D stage were used that R & D in ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The Design of resarch used preexperimental design with methods pre-test – post-test only design. The subjects of this study were all stuents in class X IPS SMA N 1 Sragen. Data collection techniques used consisted method of test, questionnares, and documentation, while data analysis techniques was done by using the t-test formula. Results of the research indicate: (1) Analysis of contributed student study process to needed media learning of creative crated and not monotonous at the text, so that needfull added video and learning models as outdoor study in order that can direct recognizing while occur phenomena surroundings; (2) test of phase expert team gained an average of 73,2% and it belongs to the decent criteria. The testing of indicate positive respons it belongs to the very decent criteria; (3) Effectiveness calculation using t-test formula has obtained tarithmetic=10,244 > ttable=1,67 which means Ha is accepted or there is significant to increase spasial thingking skills between before students taught using E-Book Problem Based Learning-GIS with after students that was taught after using E-Book Problem Based Learning-GIS in the subject matter of Lithosfer in class X IPS SMA N 1 Sragen 2016/2017. Abstract

Tujuan penulisan tesis yaitu: 1). Mengetahui karakteristik media pembelajaran flash macromedia berbasis problem based learning yang dikembangkan di SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015, 2). Mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran flash macromedia berbasis problem based learning yang dikembangkan di SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015, 3). Mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran flash macromedia berbasis problem based learning yang dikembangkan di SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu reseach and development (R&D). Tahapan R&Dyang digunakan yaitu R&D versi 3-D (Define, Design, Develop).Desain eksperimen yang digunakan quasi eksperimental design dengan metode non-equivalent control group design. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode tes, dokumentasi dan angket sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan rumus t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1). Karakteristik flash macromedia secara teknis yaitu media yang animatif interaktif sedangkan karakteristik flash macromedia dari segi materi dikemas dalam bentuk permasalahan lingkungan, pengetahuan tambahan dan kegiatan eksperimen.2). Hasil validasi flash macromedia dari tim ahli tahap pertama diperoleh rata-rata klasikal sebesar 70,17% dan termasik dalam kriteria layak. Pada tahap kedua diperoleh rata-rata klasikal sebesar 83,57% dan termasuk dalam kriteria sangat layak. Siswa kelas ujicoba juga memberikan tanggapan positif dengan persentase 73,6% yang termasuk dalam kriteria layak. 3). Perhitungan efektivitas dengan menggunakan rumus t-test diperoleh thitung= 2,17 >ttabel = 1, 67yang berartiHa diterima atau terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan yang signifikan antara kelompok yang diajar menggunakan flash macromedia berbasis problem based learning dengan kelompok yang diajar tanpa menggunakan flash macromedia berbasis problem based learning pada materi pokok hidrosferdi SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Media Pembelajaran, Flash Macromedia berbasis Problem Based Learning, Pengetahuan, Hidrosfer

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran terpadu pada pengintegrasian materi pengurangan risiko bencana erupsi Gunungapi Merapi dalam mata pelajaran IPS terhadap pengetahuan kebencanaan dan kesiapsiagaan bencana pada siswa SMP di lereng Gunungapi Merapi Kabupaten Klaten. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non rondomized control group, preetest dan posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP di lereng Gunungapi Merapi Kabupaten Klaten dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VII E SMPN 2 Kemalang sebagai kelas eksperimen (kelas dengan penerapan model pembelajaran terpadu) dan siswa kelas VII D SMPN 1 Kemalang sebagai kelas kontrol (kelas dengan penerapan model pembelajaran parsial). Sampel tersebut diambil dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes tertulis dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kovarian (Anacova). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran terpadu pada pengintegrasian materi pengurangan risiko bencana erupsi Gunungapi Merapi dalam mata pelajaran IPS sangat efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan kebencanaan dan kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana pada siswa SMP di lereng Gunung Merapi Kabupaten Klaten. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Terpadu, Pengetahuan Kebencanaan, Kesiapsiagaan terhadap Bencana.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the difference of between interactive multimedia learning media and still picture learning media; (2) the difference of the learning result in Essence of Geography between the students with the high Geography learning motivation and those with the low Geography learning motivation; and (3) the interaction of effect between the learning media use and the Geography learning motivation and the Geography learning motivation on the learning result in Essence of Geography of the students in Grade X of Social Science Program of State Senior Secondary School 2 of Jayapura.This research used the quasi experimental research method with the factorial design of 2 x 2. It involved two classes, namely: experimental class and control class. The data of research were collected through test of learning result in Geography and questionnaire of Geography learning motivation. They were analyzed by using the two-way analysis of variance (ANAVA).The results of research are as follows: 1) In Primary Effect A (learning media), the statistical value of Fcount= 68.125 is greater than that of F table = 4,06 so that Ho1 is rejected, meaning that there is a very significant difference between the interactive multimedia learning media and still picture learning media on the learning result in Geography of the students in Grade X of Social Science Program of State Senior Secondary School 2 of Jayapura in Semester I in Academic Year 2014/ 2015. 2) In Effect B (learning motivation), the statistical value of Fcount=93.555 is greater than that of F table = 4.06. Therefore, Ho2 is rejected, indicating that there is a very significant difference between the students with the high Geography learning motivation and those with the low Geography learning motivation on the learning result in Geography of the students in Grade X of Social Science Program of State Senior Secondary School 2 of Jayapura in Semester I in Academic Year 2014/ 2015. 3) In the interaction of Effect AB (learning media and learning motivation), the statistical Fcount = 13.040 is greater than F table = 4.06. Thus, Ho3 is rejected, specifying that there is a significant interaction between the learning media use and the learning motivation on the learning result in Geography of the students in Grade X of Social Science Program of State Senior Secondary School 2 of Jayapura in Semester I in Academic Year 2014/ 2015.Keywords :learning result, motivation, interactive multimedia

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to improve: (1) the learning activities of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School 1 of Juwana in Academic Year 2013/2014 in the basic competencies of Anthroposphere through the Mind Mapping learning model; and (2) the learning results of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School 1 of Juwana in Academic Year 2013/2014 in the basic competencies of Anthroposphere through the Mind Mapping learning model. This research used the classroom action research. The subjects of the research were the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School 1 of Juwana. The data of the research were gathered through observation, content analysis, questionnaire, and test. The quantity data of the research were analyzed by using the the comparative analysis whereas the qualitative ones were analyzed by using the the descriptive analysis followed with reflection.The results of the research are as follows: 1) The application of the Mind Mapping learning model on the basic competencies of Antroposphere can improve the Geography learning activities of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School 1 of Juwana in Academic Year 2013/2014. Prior to the treatment, the percentage of their learning activities is 64.6%. Following the treatment, it becomes 73.% in Cycle I and 80.7% in Cycle II, meaning that the performance indicators of the determined learning activities have been fulfilled. 2) The application of the Mind Mapping learning model on the basic competencies of Antroposphere can improve the Geography learning results of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School 1 of Juwana in Academic Year 2013/2014. Prior to the treatment, the percentage of their classical learning completeness is 17.65%. Following the treatment, it becomes 64.71% in Cycle I and 88.24% in Cycle II, indicating that the performance indicators of the determined learning completeness have been fulfilled.Keywords: mind mapping, learning activities, learning results, and anthroposphere.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) the characteristics of Specific Subject Pedagogic (SSP) to Strengthen the Readiness of Sustainable Behavior towards Environmental device developing in the material of environmental conservation; 2) the appropriateness of Specific Subject Pedagogic (SSP) to Strengthen the Readiness of Sustainable Behavior towards Environmental device developing in the material of environmental conservation; 3) the effectiveness of Specific Subject Pedagogic (SSP) to Strengthen the Readiness of Sustainable Behavior towards Environmental device developing in the material of environmental conservation. Research and Development (R&D) method was used model 4 D modifies it into 3D (Define, Design, Develop). The instruments used in the study were validation sheet, NEP questioners, students’ response questioners, observation, and Focuss Group Discussion (FGD). Operational field trials used one group pre-post test design. The data of the students’ readiness of sustainable behavior by sample paired t-test. Based on the result of the studies, it can be concluded that: 1) SSP material of environmental conservation to the readiness of sustainable behavior for the students can be develop using some components, syllabus, RPP, students’ book, teacher’s book, and evaluation devices; 2) the appropriateness of SSP material of environmental conservation based on the appraisal of experts, practitioners, and students’ responses can be categorized as appropriate product development and suitable to use in SMAN 3 Ponorogo; 3) the effectiveness of SSP material of environmental conservation shows the significant enchantment by the significant number of 0,000 in strengthening the readiness of sustainable behavior and students’ cognitive result studies. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine: 1) Differences of students preparedness about earthquake disaster in the implementation of comics media and GI model, GI and conventional model at X SMA Negeri 1 Wedi; 2) Students preparedness about earthquake disaster in the implementation of comics media and GI model that is more effective than conventional model at X SMA Negeri 1 Wedi; 3) Students preparedness about earthquake disaster in the implementation of GI model that is more effective than conventional model at X SMA Negeri 1 Wedi.The study is a quasi experimental research. Population of the study is: students of X SMA Negeri 1 Wedi, Klaten. Sample of the study covers three classes which are XB, XF and XC with the total of 69 students. Sampling technique uses simple random sampling, with research plan design posttest only. Data collection employs questionnaire, test, and documentation. Data analysis technique used is ANOVA and a further test Anova. Prerequisite test used are normality and homogenity tests.Results of the study conclude that: 1) There are differences of students preparedness about earthquake disaster in the implementation of comics media and GI model, GI and conventional model at X SMA Negeri 1 Wedi; 2) The implementation of comics media and GI model is more effective than conventional model in the students preparedness about earthquake disaster at X SMA Negeri 1 Wedi; 3) The implementation of GI model is more effective than conventional model in the students preparedness about earthquake disaster at X SMA Negeri 1 Wedi.Keywords: Comics Learning Media, Group Investigation Learning Model, Earthquake Disaster Preparedness.

Abstract

Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan, diketahui bahwa sebagian guru geografi di SMA Negeri 8 Surakarta sudah menggunakan media pembelajaran namun belum tepat sehingga berpengaruh pada minat dan hasil belajar siswa yang tergolong rendah, khususnya pada materi mitigasi dan adaptasi bencana alam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mengembangkan media Booklet berbasis SETS sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi pokok mitigasi dan adaptasi bencana alam di SMA Negeri 8 Surakarta, 2) mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran dengan penggunaan media Booklet berbasis SETS pada materi pokok mitigasi dan adaptasi bencana alam pada hasil belajar siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 8 Surakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian pengembangan yang terbagi atas tiga tahap yaitu define, design, dan develop (3-D). Desain media booklet berbasis SETS dirancang menggunakan aplikasi Corel Draw 6. Untuk mengetahui efektivitasnya, dilakukan uji coba di kelas X IIS SMA Negeri 8 Surakarta dengan desain penelitian eksperimen semu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi, lembar angket dan lembar penilaian. Data penilaian kelayakan media booklet berbasis SETS diolah menggunakan rumus deskriptif persentatif, sedangkan analisis data efektivitas menggunakan rumus uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, telah berhasil dikembangkan media booklet berbasis SETS dengan hasil validasi secara keseluruhan yaitu 77,35% dengan kriteria kelayakan “layak” digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Selanjutnya dari hasil uji efektivitas diketahui bahwa thitung > ttabel sehingga dapat diartikan media booklet berbasis SETS efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada materi pokok mitigasi dan adaptasi bencana alam. Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate : (1) the effect of between using Jigsaw learning and Problem Based Learning on the analytical skills of students about the earthquake disaster mitigation; (2) the effect of between students who have a high initial capability with lower initial ability on the analytical skills of students about earthquake disaster mitigation; (3) the effect of the interaction between the learning model and the ability of students to the initial situation analysis capabilities of earthquake disaster mitigation in class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong Sragen 2015/2016. This research used a quasi experimental research method with the factorial design of 2x2. It involved two classes, namely: experimental class and control class. The data of research were collected through test of Earthquake Disaster Mitigation and Ability Questionnaire Initial Earthquake. They were analyzed by using the two way analysis of variance (ANAVA). The results of the research are follows: 1) In the main effects of A (Learning Model), the statistical value of probabillitas (sig.) = 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a very significant effects between the application of the jigsaw and PBL learning model to the students on the analytical skills of class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong; 2) On the effect of B (early Capability), the value probabillitas (sig.) = 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a very significant effects between students with the high early capability and those with the low early capability on the analytical skills of students of class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong; 3) In the interaction effect AB (learning model and early abilities of students), probabillitas value (sig.) = 0,032 <0.05 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant interaction between the learning models and the use of prior knowledge of the students analytical skills situation in the IPS class X SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong.
