Abstract

Citizens' legal awareness is always the main factor that results in the obedience and obedience of a citizen to the law as a whole. Legal awareness is a key factor in how a person acts and carries out his activities every day. Therefore, legal awareness is important for citizens to have from an early age until they are attached to old age. Citizens as legal subjects are required to obey and obey the law. One form of obedience and obedience to the rules is to use a motorized vehicle by Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. Every motorized vehicle user must obey and obey these rules. If a violation occurs, the police officer must take action against it, with a ticket. E-Tilang is an innovation from the police to make it easier for traffic offenders to pay ticket fines to stop illegal fees and increase legal awareness of citizens to comply with the fines of traffic violations that have been committed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how effective the application of the jurisprudential inquiry model is in increasing students' enthusiasm in the learning process in the classroom, as well as to foster legal awareness of students as citizens in an era of increasingly rapid social change. The approach of this research is carried out by a mixed approach (mix method), the method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research method. This research was conducted on students of class X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 14 Bandung as a research sample. This research model uses the Kemmis and Taggart models.The results of the study show that the application of the jurisprudential inquiry model can foster legal awareness of students as citizens. Judging from the change in behavior of students who initially majority often skipped PKn lessons or in other words had low legal awareness by not obeying school discipline, became so enthusiastic about attending PKn lessons. The jurisprudential inquiry learning model also enables students to think critically and be sensitive to various social issues and then be able to position themselves as students or as citizens of Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe approaches, strategies, obstacles, efforts to develop the faith, piety, and noble morals towards students character in SMP Negeri 10 Bandung. The approach chosen is a qualitative approach with the method is case study. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation techniques, and study documentation. Techniques in data analysis namely collection data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The final results of this study show that there are various approaches and strategies used by the informants. Then there are also obstacles faced, both from students, the social environment, and government policies. Then there are efforts made together, both of schools, communities, and parents of students. So that the approach and strategy gives good results in developing the faith, piety, and noble morals towards the character of students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Pancasila and Civic Education learning by using the Law-Related Education (LRE) approach in the learning process of teaching and learning activities. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method covering two research samples and giving different treatments. The control class uses conventional learning, the experimental class uses the Law-Related Education approach. This research is located at SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. The results of the study indicate that the LRE approach in Civics learning is relevant to be used in the teaching and learning process in the context of legal material in Civics. Through the integration of LRE, which increases the knowledge, skills, and values needed by students to work effectively in a pluralistic and democratic society, the rule of law, so the integration of Civics and LRE is a significant solution effort to develop students' legal attitudes. Therefore, the implementation of legal learning in Civics must be carried out in an integrative, interactive, and collaborative manner. This has implications for the development of legal awareness for students to find social problems, especially those related to law in the community.

Abstract

Based on the background on observations in the VII-G class during the study of PKn. It was found that students had a motivational learning and low critical thinking ability. The purpose of this research is to improve students' critical thinking in class VII-G SMP Negeri 40 Bandung with probing learning Model –prompting. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches to the method of class action research (PTK). This research was conducted in SMPN 40 Bandung with research participants of teachers and students of class VII-G SMPN 40 Bandung. Data collection In this research is done through observation, interviews, documentation study, literature study, field records with processing/data analysis techniques using data-triangulation technique i.e. data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification (conclusion). The results obtained from research with model probing-following prompting during the three meetings/cycles showed an increase in students' critical thinking ability, cycles of 1 24.2% "less", cycle II 34.9% "less" and cycle III 60.8% "insufficient". Probing-prompting models are not only for increasing student critical  thinking  but helping students to expand all  questions,  describing new knowledge, being able to help motivate learning better.

Abstract

Facing the era of globalization and modernization in this very dynamic era, researchers believe in the importance of strengthening the character of love for the country in students as the nation's next generation, one way is through Civic Education. Because Civic Education aims to prepare the next generation with a personality, culture and national perspective. By preparing the next generation who have a spirit of nationalism and a good national insight, this can be said to be a long-term plan for the continuity of the Indonesian nation and state in the future, because they are the ones who will continue leadership in this country and are responsible for maintaining unity and national unity and the ideology of Pancasila as the life guide for every Indonesian citizen in the future. Fostering a sense of patriotism or nationalistic values in the nation's future generations, which is one way through Civic Education, which is the most appropriate answer in facing the challenges of today's era and modernization. Because these efforts are very important and fundamental, so that the future generations of the nation can implement or practice the values of nationalism and Pancasila in their daily lives.

Abstract

The implementation of good governance principles is an important aspect of public sector services in government institutions. The policy of implementing the good governance principle in public service has been found in implementing one-roof service policies methods integrated into by Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung. This research approach is qualitative with case study methods. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentary studies. The participants of this research are the head and staff of Bagian Umum dan Kepegawaian, and the public service community of teachers and school staff. The results of this research are (1) a one-stop-shop public sector service was a way of improving the quality of good governance public services; (2) the principle of good governance as applied are accountable, accountable, effective and efficient; (3) communities using public services feel a service barrier from aspects of service effectiveness and efficiency, and employees respond while performing public service; (4) efforts made by the Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung will be the socialization of a massive public service procedure and assessments of one-roof service policies by reviewing the good governance indicators used in public sector service in Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung.
