Abstract

The development of science and technology has brought great influence to educational technology which further influences learning technology and ultimately to the patterns of learning from conventional/ traditional (textual and teacher only learning) patterns to transition patterns (semi textual and teacher together media) and finally to modern patterns (contextual and media as learning resources). This is very influential on the pattern of learning Civic that is conventional/traditional textual to contextual learning patterns. The current reality in Indonesia is that civic learning is still dominated by conventional systems, so that the application of contextualized oriented learning is still far from expectations, as evidenced by the still serious learning problem, where most students can not relate what they have learned and applications in his current and future life. This occurs because the lesson of civics is less related to the material with the reality of student life, not contextual, consequently civics fails in carrying out its mission to develop civics competence namely civics knowledge, civics disposition and citizenship skills. In carrying the contextualized oriented civics learning, conventional learning system in schools is increasingly believed to be a system that is not effective anymore and resulted in learning Civics felt less meaningful for students To solve the problem of learning civics less meaningful, it is necessary to use contextual teaching approach learning) as one effective alternative. Abstract

This article aims to identify, classify and mapping facilities and infrastructure of tourism objects in the city of Banjarmasin. Primary data collection techniques using survey methods, interviews, documentation, and literature study. Secondary data obtained from Tourism Department of Art and Culture and Culture and Tourism Office of South Kalimantan Province. Data analysis technique used is spatial analysis. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the facilities and infrastructure of tourism objects in Banjarmasin City for basic facilities, supplementary facilities, and the largest supporting facilities is restaurant / restaurant with the number of 26 pieces or 41.27%, the smallest is the tourist transport and cinema building with each amount 1 fruit or 1.51%. Public infrastructure and public utilities in Banjarmasin are the largest ATMs / Banks with 7 units or 30.43%, the smallest is the power station, the provision of clean water, seaports, and communication facilities with each amounted to 1 piece or 4 , 35%.Keywords: Facilities, Infrastructure, Tourism Objects http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um022v2i12017p046

Abstract

Authentic assessment focuses on three aspects of the assessment that is affective, cognitive and psychomotor. Authentic assessment system contained in the curriculum in 2013 were appropriate and were able to increase the result and motivation to learn. With the implementation good curriculum will either produce output learning results good also. The purpose of this research is to analize and know: 1) Significant influence of K13 assessment strategies to student learning motivation. 2) Significant influence of K13 assessment strategies to student learning outcomes. This research  is causal. The population in this study were all students of Class VIII SMP and SMP Budi Mulia National Pakisaji academic year 2015/2016, amounting to 268 students. Proportional random sampling, the samples taken 30% of the 268 students are 86 students. The research instrument using a questionnaire, to obtain good data and correct, the use of the instrument should be tested first. Data collection techniques used in this study is: (1) technical questionnaires and (2) technical documentation. Testing the hypothesis in this study using a t-test. Adapun significance level used is 5%. Calculation of data analysis using SPSS. The results of t test analysis showed that the K-13 assessment strategies did not affect significantly to the motivation and learning outcomes.Keyword: Motivation, learning outcomes, and assessment of K-13. http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um022v1i22016p116

Abstract

In the current era most women play a role in building the family economy. Women help husbands to earn income to sustain family economic life. Not only take care of households, women are also good at working outdoors. Even today many women prefer a career and put aside the household affairs. But in Indonesia there are still many women who are discriminated against in terms of employment, women are made up of second-class citizens and placed in the lowest job positions. The cigarette factory is a factory where most of its employees are women. Most of the women who work in cigarette factories make the job as the main livelihood in the family. Female workers in cigarette factories are placed in production for grinding and packing, the part being the lowest in the job classification in cigarette factories. In this context gender equality means that all human beings are free to develop their personal abilities and choose without being constrained by stereotypes and prejudices about gender roles or characteristics of men and women. Women also have the right to get a good livelihood. Gender equality does not mean that men and women are equal, or have become the same, but rights, responsibilities, social status and access to resources are independent of gender. Through this research, researchers want to reveal in more depth how the life of female workers in cigarette factory. This study used a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenal research, by interviewing several female workers selected through snowball techniques. This research is located in Sorgum cigarette factory of Malang regency. The results showed that female workers at the Sorgum Malang cigarette factory have not reached a good economy despite working for decades.DOI: 10.17977/um022v3i12018p048

Abstract

Economic problems are complex problems that can not be separated from human life. The best way to solve economic problems in Indonesia is to shape human capital through investment in education. Basically boarding school education is the original education system of Indonesia or known as Indigenious. The existence of traditional pesantren or pondok pesantren salaf become the attraction to be studied because in the middle of the modernization of education changes there are still pondok pesantren that survive with salafiyah system. If in formal education, economic education becomes a curriculum that must be studied by the students. However, in boarding schools salaf does not include economic education as a compulsory curriculum. This is a challenge for students of pondok pesantren to study themselves and apply economic activities in daily life. This study aims to describe the process of economic education in Pondok Pesantren Hidayatut Thullab Trenggalek District. The method used is qualitative approach with case study research type. The results of this study indicate that the economic education process that exists in Pondok Pesantren Hidayatut Thullab not given formally written in the curriculum, but given to the santri implicitly through learning yellow books. Given the insights derived from these books the santri can apply them through attitude changes and the formation of behavior about economic activity. Giving opportunities to work to make santri can directly practice their economic behavior. Pondok environment is very influential on economic education obtained by the students at Pondok Pesantren Hidayatut Thullab. The cottage environment in question consists of huts, mosques, classical Islamic teaching books, Santri, Kyai, communities around the lodge as well as the environment where the students work. Based on the results of the study is suggested for Pondok Pesantren Hidayatut Thullab provide insight and expertise to the students from inside the cottage in order to work and conduct economic activities more leverage. KeywordsEducation, Economic Education, Pondok Pesantren.  http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um022v2i22017p104

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes of class IX.2 State Junior High School Muara Beliti on the material business to defend the Republic of Indonesia by using the Snowball throwing learning. The research method used is Classroom Action Research. The study was conducted in two cycles with each model cycle following the procedure: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The action of two cycles resulted in improving the quality of learning and improving the learning outcomes, the average completeness of students' learning cycle one 68.55% completeness 61.29%. Cycle two averages 80.1% completeness 90%. Abstract

This study aims to find local knowledge society Rote Ndao face earthquakes. The method used is a qualitative method that is focused on extracting information about the knowledge and experience of communities in Rote Ndao Rote Ndao in the face of the earthquake disaster. This research was conducted in two places, namely in the Village Lakamola and Village Mukebuku Eastern District of Rote Rote Ndao. In this study involved 20 people as informers; which is determined by a snowball and accompanied by their willingness to be involved in this research. The following results. First, Rote Ndao people have no knowledge of earthquakes, they just have myths about earthquakes. Myth for them is to bring citizens at the core of its life or the true identity; thanks to the myth, every citizen will be able to meet with his own distinctive, while at the same time they will also meet with fellow humans are also the universe, and the Divine. Myth inspire people to maintain and develop a harmonious living together in a community setting: between macro-cosmos, micro-cosmos and Invisible Invisible. Secondly, experience Rote Ndao society in the face of the earthquake disaster, they use local wisdom, screaming when the quake lasted ami nai ai o ... They were happy because of their belief that the current year will bring soil fertility and agricultural crops will be abundant. Senasiblah feeling that drives people to be aware of the meaning of the collectivity as social beings. In this case, the earthquake that devastated people's lives ago has sowed seeds of solidarity, and solidarity. Abstract

Understanding the Subthemes of Nature of Indonesia, especially on sub-theme Flora and Fauna will be more easily understood by learners based on the learning experience gained from the transfer of knowledge submitted by teachers. For that, teachers need to use a medium as an intermediary in learning. The appropriate learning medium is to use "Sipete". It is also expected that the selected learning media can improve the activity and learning outcomes of learners. Based on the results of research proves that the use of learning media "Sipete" can improve the activity and learning outcomes of learners. Evident from each cycle showed a significant improvement. In the first cycle of learning activities, only 15 students (46.88%) showed high learning activity with the percentage of success reached 57 in enough category, increased to 23 people (71,88%) in Cycle II with the success of the action reached 73 in good category. In the third cycle increased to 27 people (84.38%) which showed high learning activity with the percentage of success reached 82 in very good category.DOI: 10.17977/um022v3i12018p013

Abstract

Machiavelli as inspired by his age wants to open people’s awareness at present. He is shaped by the spirit of renaissance then his thoughts seem to be more humanistic. However people claim that his thinking is amoral but he suggests the humanistic recommendation. He advises that the prince should decide any decision to reach his aims. Unless, people tend to ignore how he advices to be a humanistic prince. In his work entitled “Discourse”, he even wants to deconstruct and direct people to be more humanistic. He believes that the nature of man is envy and is like to criticize than to appreciate so that man will repeat his conflict as long as his life. The worshipping of past steers the man to think irregularly. Abstract

The focus of this research is to describe and analyze the praxis of Lesson Study for Learning Community as an effort to enhance social studies teaching learning quality by applying lesson study activity in SMPN 2 Sumberpucung which was guided by Faculty of Social Science Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). This research used a qualitative research approach and case study research design. The main sources of this research were all the social studies teachers of SMPN 2 Sumberpucung and the lecturers of Faculty of Social Science UM which was involved in the lesson study activity on this school. Research findings has led the author to take two conclusions. First, the quality of social studies teaching learning has increased by the praxis of Lesson Study for Learning Community in SMPN 2 Sumberpucung. Second, the collegial collaboration between the teachers and the lecturers has significant contributions in the enhancement of social studies teaching learning quality. The pattern of collegial collaboration manifested in the lesson plan and reflection session, and also has observed in the open lesson session.
