Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh citra perusahaan dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan pada PT Anugrah Karunia Logistik. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 150 responden yang merupakan pelanggan PT Anugrah Karunia Logistik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra perusahaan dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan pada PT Anugrah Karunia Logistik. Selain itu, citra perusahaan memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan dibandingkan dengan kualitas pelayanan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan kepada PT Anugrah Karunia Logistik untuk terus meningkatkan citra perusahaan dan kualitas pelayanannya guna mempertahankan loyalitas pelanggan dan meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Selain itu, penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi perusahaan lain dalam mengembangkan strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

This study is an endeavor to examine efficacy of using CTL approach in writing class of the senior high-school student. The participants consisted of 52 the eleventh grade students’ natural-science class. The experimental group was taught using CTL approach while the control one taught using conventional one. A writing pre-post test and perceptional questionnaire were the data collection instruments. Finding of the test indicated that the experimental group performed better that of control one in terms of the post-test while the questionnaire indicated that students’ experimental group had positive perception related to the application of the teaching approach.

Abstract

Students can prepare themselves to enter the global workforce by learning English for Specific Purpose (ESP) as communicative approach, which is a crucial part of the subject. One way to make learning ESP enjoyable for students so they will be driven to do and will be able to grasp the topic quickly is by using social media. This study aimed to analyze technology on English for specific purposes (ESP) students in communicative language teaching approach. This study applied qualitative method. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The triangulation technique as a data validity technique is carried out by comparing interview data with data obtained from observations and data from documentation. From the research conducted, it was found that the use of social media as a medium for learning ESP had a positive effect, namely, as a means of communication that is in high demand, as a tool for triggering student interaction and motivation, and as a collaborative tool. Implications for teaching ESP with the help of technology and suggestions for further research were also provided

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in enhancing Indonesian EFL secondary learners’ narrative writing skills and the perception of Indonesian EFL secondary schools toward applying the CTL approach. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with fifty-two eleventh-grade students as participants. The participants were divided into two groups; An experimental group received the CTL approach, and a control group received the conventional way. This study utilized a pre-posttest and perceptional questionnaire. Nonparametric tests (i.e., Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon test) were run to analyze the data in this study. The Man-Whitney U test indicated a significant difference between the mean score for the experimental group with the CTL approach and the control group without the CTL approach (9.86 > 10.12). Meanwhile, the Wilcoxon test illustrated that the leading score of the pre-test (10.14) and the post-test (16.05) in the experimental group differ significantly. Implementation of the CTL approach through its components positively contributes to teaching narrative writing skills. Meanwhile, the perceptional questionnaires showed that the students' experiment group perceived the implementation of the CTL Approach positively. This study results render teachers’ insight into a practical approach to teaching writing to be able to teach narrative writing.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran online melalui pelatihan penggunaan fitur Canva. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom pada 17 November 2023, dihadiri oleh 44 peserta dari berbagai kalangan pendidikan. Pelatihan melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, dan guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain grafis mereka menggunakan Canva. Metode pelatihan melibatkan presentasi interaktif, praktik langsung, dan sesi diskusi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap fitur-fitur Canva dan kemampuan mereka dalam menciptakan materi pembelajaran online yang menarik. Kolaborasi antarpeserta juga memperkaya pengalaman belajar. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan Canva berkontribusi signifikan pada peningkatan keterampilan teknologi peserta, yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran online di lembaga mereka. Dengan adanya dukungan finansial dari instansi tertentu, kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan model untuk pengembangan kegiatan serupa di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis merupakan keterampilan dasar yang wajib di kuasai guru, namun sering hanya mendapat perhatian terbatas. Lebih lanjut, adanya Merdeka Belajar menuntut guru untuk mengadopsi perubahan sebagai langkah pengembangan profesionalisme guru yang berkelanjutan. Guru wajib untuk di bekali pengetahuan tentang pengembangan profesionalisme, salah satu cara untuk mengembangkan profesionalisme guru adalah melalui pelatihan menulis, guru yang terbiasa menulis mampu menciptakan ruang bagi diri melalui karya-karya dan memberi ide-ide baru untuk dibagikan kepada siswa di kelas. Melihat fakta yang terjadi disekolah mitra, tim pengabdian berinisiatif untuk mengadakan pelatihan menulis sebagai langkah pengembangan profesionalisme guru. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pemaparan materi, praktik menulis dan Focus Group Discussion. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan selama pelatihan menulis, guru merasa terbantu dengan pelatihan ini, respon positif juga tampak dari hasil Focus Group Discussion, mereka bersemangat setelah dibekali dengan pelatihan yang bermanfaat dan ingin melanjutkan latihan menulis secara mandiri.

Abstract

Keselamatan kerja mencakup keselamatan peralatan, tempat kerja, dan lingkungan serta terhindar dari bahaya yang menyebabkan penderitaan, kerusakan, atau kerugian selama berada di lingkungan kerja. Mahasiswa yang akan menjadi calon pelaut harus memiliki pengetahuan keselamatan kerja termasuk masalah keselamatan kerja, termasuk sistem manajemen keselamatan kerja. Untuk mengatasi kesenjangan tersebut, tim pengabdian mencoba untuk mengadakan pelatihan keselamatan kerja untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam penguatan pengetahuan keselamatan kerja. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pemaparan materi, praktik keselamatan kerja dan Focus Group Discussion. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan selama pelatihan keselamatan kerja, memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai terkait potensi dan risiko ketika bekerja diatas kapal, mahasiswa mengetahui bahwa setiap pekerjaan pasti memiliki risiko, dan harus menerima konsekuensi dari risiko tersebut, baik yang menguntungkan maupun yang merugikan, setiap awak kapal harus mengetahui potensi bahaya agar mereka dapat mencegah kecelakaan kerja. Selanjutnya, tim pengabdian menemukan bahwa selama pelatihan mahasiswa menyadari bahwa kelengkapan dan peralatan kerja berarti dalam keselamatan kerja, semakin lengkap peralatan keselamatan kerja yang dimiliki, semakin aman untuk bekerja. Tim pengabdian menyimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pelatihan keselamatan kerja berjalan dengan baik dan memenuhi tujuan pengabdian.

Abstract

Background. Student inactivity in social interaction is a serious problem in Indonesian higher education, it can affect the quality of language learning. The learning structure tends to be one-way from lecturer to student, creating a dynamic like an inverted pyramid, with limited social interaction. Therefore, this research aims to explore the role of social media in enriching social interactions and improving language learning in higher education environments. Purpose. The purpose of this research is to investigate and understand in depth the role of social media in increasing students' social interactions during the language learning process in Indonesian higher education. By achieving this goal, this research seeks to provide practical recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of language learning and creating a foundation for the development of more adaptive social media-based learning strategies. Method. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The questionnaire was designed using Google Form and distributed to 30 students who were studying Arabic and English at various universities in Indonesia. The data analysis technique adopts the Miles Huberman technique with a focus on students' understanding of the contribution of social media to increasing social interaction in language learning. Results. The research results show that students actively use social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp to discuss, share learning resources, and collaborate on learning projects. Evaluation of the integration of social media in learning materials shows that the majority of students think that lecturers have integrated social media well. Conclusion.` This research provides a comprehensive picture of the positive impact of social media in language learning in higher education. By involving increased interaction, collaboration, and understanding of language material, this research creates a foundation for the development of learning strategies that are more focused on social media integration.

Abstract

Neuromarketing is a rapidly growing field that uses neuroscience to understand consumer behavior and improve marketing effectiveness. This article explores the complex ethical implications of neuromarketing practices, especially regarding persuasive influence on consumer autonomy and the use of emerging technologies. First, we investigate advances in neurotechnology, such as fMRI, EEG, and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), that enable a deeper understanding of consumer preferences. The challenge is enforcing this technology's ethical use and protecting individual privacy. Second, we discuss "neuro hacking," exploiting neurological vulnerabilities to influence consumer decisions. This raises ethical questions about mental safety and individual autonomy. Third, algorithms and artificial intelligence in Neuromarketing create highly personalized marketing experiences. This raises questions about how to protect privacy, obtain consent, and maintain individual agency. Fourth, we explore cultural issues in Neuromarketing, exploring how cultural values must be respected in marketing practices. Fifth, we discuss security and data protection issues in using neuromarketing technology. Sixth, we investigate the role of government and regulatory agencies in regulating neuromarketing practices and protecting consumer rights. Finally, we highlight the importance of education about neuroethics in educating marketers, researchers, and consumers about the ethical aspects of Neuromarketing. This article encourages critical reflection on the ethical dilemmas businesses, researchers, and policymakers face in the rapidly evolving world of Neuromarketing.
