Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan alat peraga terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik SMA kelas X pada materi getaran harmonis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi-experimen dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X IPA SMAN 4 Mataram dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik pada kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Penguasaan konsep diukur dengan memberikan tes berupa pilihan ganda dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah diukur dengan memberikan tes essay.Hasil tes akhir untuk penguasaan konsep diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 60,55 dan nilai rata kelas kontrol 40,76. Hasil tes akhir pemecahan masalah diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 64,14  dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 51,55.  Hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan Uji-t polled varians dengan taraf signifikan 5%, dan diperolehhasil thitung = 5,16 untuk penguasaan konsep dan  thitung = 3,57 untuk pemecahan masalah, sedangkan  ttabel= 2,0. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, berarti thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan alat peraga berpengaruh terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik diSMAN 4Mataram tahun pelajaran 2017/2018.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the video documentary learning media based on local content of traditional musical instruments on sound wave material. This type of research is research and development. The development model used in this study is a 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) model developed by Thiagarajan. The validity of the product development in this study was tested for validity by 3 physics education expert lecturers and 3 physics teacher practitioners. The results of this study indicate that the documentary video learning media is feasible to proceed to the operational trial phase of learning. Based on the assessment by the validator, it has an average value of 93% with a very decent category, while from the results of student responses to this documentary video learning media through a limited trial, an average value of 89% is obtained with a very decent category.

Abstract

Mengajar adalah pekerjaan guru sehari-hari. Namun demikian, mengajar bagaimana siswa belajar, ternyata tidaklah mudah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang bertujuan memberikan contoh nyata bagaimana cara mengajar dan menanamkan kesadaran bencana pada masyarakat sekolah secara sederhana dan menyenangkan dengan model pembelajaran kesadaran bencana. Hasil penelitian berupa desain model pembelajaran kesadaran bencana dan struktur pembelajaran yang merupakan penerapan pendekatan saintifik pada kesadaran bencana. Penelitian ini berdasarkan pengembangan dan pengalaman tim peneliti dalam mengajar dan melakukan penelitian pada kepala sekolah, guru dan peserta didik di SD Negeri 6 Mataram dan. SD Negeri 6 Mataram merupakan pilot project dari penelitian ini dan akan diterapkan pada sekolah-sekolah lain di daerah kota, pesisir dan pegunungan di pulau Lombok. Respon kepala sekolah dan bapak ibu guru terhadap model pembelajaran kesadaran ini sangat positif, dimana 95 % menyatakan sangat tertarik dan hanya 5 % yang menyatakan tertarik. Peserta didik sangat antusias dan terlibat aktif selama proses pembelajaran dan mereka merasakan manfaat yang berarti dari pembelajaran kesadaran ini. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa model pembelajaran kesadaran ini dapat menjadi acuan dalam menanamkan kesadaran bencana pada masyarakat sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemetaan terhadap aktivitas praktikum IPA di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kota Mataram diantaranya adalah identifikasi tingkat motivasi guru-guru IPA SMP Negeri di Kota Mataram dalam melakukan kegiatan praktikum IPA, data pelaksanaan praktikum yang telah berlangsung dengan mengobservasi kendala yang ada termasuk kondisi sarana prasarana penunjang praktikum IPA di SMP di Kota Mataram. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan menggunakan metode fishbone diagram (diagram tulang ikan). Pengumpulan data pada survey dijaring menggunakan angket/kuisioner dan wawancara. Jenis kuisioner pada penelitian ini adalah kuisioer tertutup dengan rating scale. populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 24 sekolah negeri. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara random sehingga diperoleh sampel guru IPA sebanyak 15 sampel. Sampel diberikan tiga jenis angket yaitu angket motivasi praktikum, angket pelaksanaan praktikum, dan angket sarana prasarana penunjang praktikum. Motivasi guru IPA dalam melakukan kegitan praktikum termasuk kategori sedang dengan rata-rata sebesar 64 yang terbagi dalam 13.3% motivasi tinggi dan 86.7% motivasi sedang. Pelaksanaan praktikum IPA tergolong baik yaitu sebesar 80.3%. Adapun ketersediaan saran prasarana penunjang praktikum tergolong sangat baik yaitu sebesar 94.2% tersedia. Akan tetapi, berdasarkan hasil hasil uji regresi linear dengan nilai signifikansi 0.355 lebih besar dari 0.05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi praktium, pelaksanaan praktikum, dan ketersediaan sarana prasarana tidak saling berhubungan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan validitas perangkat pembelajaran fisika  berbasis model discovery dengan pendekatan konflik kognitif. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Prosedur penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model discovery dengan pendekatan konflik kognitif mengacu pada langkah-langkah pengembangan 4D yaitu define, design, develop dan disseminate. Perangkat pembelajaran fisika berbasis model discovery dengan pendekatan konflik kognitif yang dikembangkan terdiri dari silabus, RPP, LKPD, handout, dan instrumen evaluasi. Jurnal ini hanya fokus pada validitas isi dan kontruk yang divalidasi oleh ahli. Berdasarkan hasil analisis validitas menggunakan indeks Aiken dan analisis reliabilitas menggunakan percentage agreement didapatkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran fisika berbasis model discovery dengan pendekatan konflik kognitif yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria valid dan reliabel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of project-based learning devices to increase students' creativity on momentum and impulse materials. It is a research and development type with a 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) model developed by Thiagarajan. The validity of the product developed in this study was tested by 2 Physics education expert lecturers and 3 Physics teacher practitioners. This study indicates that the learning device is feasible to proceed to the operational trial phase in learning activities. Based on the assessment by the device validator, it obtained an average validity value of 86.72% with a very feasible category. The student responses to the developed device are positive, with an average value of 100%.

Abstract

Technological developments affect the development of learning. Along with this, the development of covid throughout the world makes learning required to present creative learning with innovative media. This research aims to develop learning media and online HOTS tests based on smartphone android in physics learning. This research using a procedural model. The analysis in this development research uses ideal standards to analyze the validation or feasibility of the physics learning media. The media and online HOTS tests were analyzed by 4 experts in the field of physics education. The results of the analysis show that the learning media is categorized as feasible or valid based on three categories, namely in terms of the media display, software, and material.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an instructional materials by discovery model with a cognitive conflict approach that has a positive impact on students' critical thinking skills, especially on temperature and heat material. The development of this instructional materials adapted the 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Instructional materials developed in the form of syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheet, learning materials, as well as instruments of critical thinking skills in the form of a essay questions. This product was validated by three expert validators and obtained very high validity criteria. The practicality test is done by observing the implementation of learning accompanied by the questionnaire responses of teachers and students, and produces very high practicality criteria. The final value of critical thinking skills students also have high criteria. Therefore, the product developed can be declared valid, practical, and has a positive impact on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning models assisted by virtual simulations on the mastery of physics concepts in high school students. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The population was all students of class X MIA MAN 2 Central Lombok, amount to 47 students with a sampling technique using saturated sample techniques,hence the sample used in this study was class X MIA-1 as an experimental group of 24 students and class X MIA- 2 as a control group of 23 students. Before being treated, both samples were given a preliminary test to determine their initial abilities. Based on homogeneity test results, both samples have the same initial ability. In the final test, obtained an average score of mastery of concepts from the experimental class of 66 with the highest score of 85 and an average score of the control class of 55 with the highest score of 75. The research hypothesis was tested with the t-polled variance test with a significance level of 5%, and the results obtained t_count = 3.63, while t_table = 2.02. Based on these results, it means that t_count is greater than t_table, so Ho is rejected. Thus, the conclusion is the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model assisted by virtual simulations has an influence on the mastery of physics concepts in high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning models assisted by virtual simulations on the mastery of physics concepts for high school students. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all students of class XI MIA SMAN 1 Sheet, totaling 53 students with the sampling technique using purposive sampling technique, so the sample used in this study was class XI MIA-2 as an experimental class totaling 26 students and class XI MIA. -3 as a control class, totaling 27 students. Before being given treatment, the two samples were given an initial test to determine their initial ability. The results show that the the ability of both class control and experiment are homogen. That means  before doing the treatment, they have the same abilty. The research hypothesis was tested by using polled variance t-test with a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of data analysis, t count is greater than t table, so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model assisted with virtual simulations has an effect on the mastery of physics concepts for high school students.
