Abstract

This research means to determine the effect of the analogy learning model on the ability to mastery the biological concepts of class XI students at the Islamic Boarding School MA As'adiyah Dapoko Bantaeng. This research is the type of quasi-experimental (Quasi-Experimental Research) with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class XI. The sampling in this study used a purposive technique so that XI MIA 1 was selected as the control group and XI MIA 2 as the experimental group. Each class has 20 students. The instrument used to collect data research is a concept mastery test consisting of a pretest and postest, then the data is analyzed by descriptive and inferential through independent-sample t-test. The results show that the average posttest value of students in the experimental group was 67.30. In contrast, the control group was 54.20. then the sig. (2-Tailed) 0.000 <0.05 so that means there was an effect of the analogy learning model on the mastery of the concept immunity system of class XI students at the Pondok Pesantren MA As'adiyah Dapoko Bantaeng.

Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan pada bangku persekolahan terkadang tidak bisa diterima secara totalitas oleh semua peserta didik, dikarenakan peserta didik mempunyai gaya belajar masing-masing sehingga memunculkan sebuah permasalahan dalam proses pembelajarannya, khususnya seorang guru kadang dalam proses mengajar di kelas masih sering menggunakan media papan tulis dan metode ceramah hingga membuat peserta didik merasa bosan dan tidak mampu memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh gurunya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan 4-D yang meliputi empat tahap yakni define (pendefenisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui tingkat kevalidan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon berada pada kategori sangat valid dengan nilai rerata sebesar 3,66. Tingkat kepraktisan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan nilai rerata sebesar 3,53. Hasil tes peserta didik dikategorikan sangat efektif karena mencapai rata-rata hasil belajar 83,54 dengan interval >80). Sehingga media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon layak digunakan karena memenuhi tiga kriteria yakni kevalidan, kepraktisan serta keefektifan. Media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan pada kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. AbstractEducation in school is sometimes not acceptable in totality by all learners, because learners have their own learning style so that it raises a problem in the learning process, especially a teacher sometimes in the process of teaching in the classroom still often uses whiteboard media and lecture methods to make learners feel bored and unable to capture the material delivered by their teachers. This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective PowToon-based biological learning medium. This research adapts the 4-D development model which includes four stages namely define (defining), design (design), develop dessiminate. Based on the results of the study, it is known the the level of validity of the PowToon based biology learning media is in the valid category and the mean value is 3.66. The level of practicality of the PowToon based biology learning media is in the very practical category with an average value of 3.53 student test results are categorized as very effective because they achieve an average learning outcome of 83.54 with intervals (>80). So that the PowToon based biology learning media is feasible to use because it meets three criteria, namely validity, practicality and effectiveness. PowToon based biology learning media is expected to be implemented in classroom learning activities.

Abstract

COVID-19 harms the implementation of learning at various levels, including at Islamic universities. Students at Islamic universities must use e-learning for several months until the COVID-19 outbreak ends. Students are also required to have Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) to solve problems. They are also required to have Pro-Environmental Behavior (PEB) related to COVID-19. Previous research has developed a Higher-Order Thinking Skills Assessment based on Environmental Problem (HOTS-AEP). The purpose of this research was to describe an implementation of e-learning, HOTS, and PEB on students during the COVID-19 outbreak. The method used was descriptive through the survey technique. This research was conducted in March 2020. The instruments used were questionnaires on e-learning and HOTS-AEP related to COVID-19 (HOTS-AEP-COVID-19). Meanwhile, to measure PEB, PEB-COVID-19 was used. All instruments were constructed using Google Form and were distributed to 137 respondents via social media. The results showed that the implementation of e-learning was generally effective (27.74%) and quite effective (43.07%) even though some problems were encountered. Other results showed that students’ HOTS were in the poor category (26.20) while the PEB was in the excellent category (84.82). it can be concluded that e-learning during the COVID-19 outbreak has gone well although some innovations are needed. Besides that, HOTS needs to be improved while PEB needs to be maintained.

Abstract

Flooding that occurred recently has become a very detrimental disaster for the victims. This flood disaster is still a concern for people in Indonesia. Flood mitigation needs to be done to all levels of society, especially vocational school students. Vocational school students must be responsive in any situation because, after graduation, they are ready to work. Disaster mitigation is essential to be included in learning at school. Disaster mitigation is also related to the Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) to always be ready and alert. In measuring vocational school students' understanding of disaster mitigation, initial research was carried out related to disaster mitigation and HOTS. The research subjects were 100 students of Vocational School in Jakarta who were randomly selected. This study used Google Forms as a data collection technique. The results showed that the students’ HOTS score was still low. The results showed that the Students’ HOTS scores on flooding were still low. The average score obtained by the whole students was 43.34. The male students obtained 30.27, and the female students obtained 45.97. All schools in Indonesia should implement early mitigation education that is integrated with HOTS learning.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; mengetahui gambaran kemampuan merancang pe­rangkat pembelajaran, gambaran kinerja praktik mengajar mahasiswa, dan hu­bu­ngan antara kemampuan merancang perangkat pembelajaran dengan praktik me­ngajar mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Pendidikan Biologi yang melaksanakan prak­tik pengalaman lapangan di Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Madani Paopao Ka­bu­pa­ten Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional. Responden pe­nelitian sebanyak 10 mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi. Jika dilihat dari tujuan pe­ne­litian, maka penelitian ini bersifat evaluatif. Instrumen yang digunakan me­ngum­pulkan data adalah skala penilaian dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis da­ta menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial Korelasi Pearson Pro­duct Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) kemampuan mahasiswa me­ran­cang perangkat pembelajaran dalam kategori baik, 2) kinerja praktik mengajar dalam kategori baik, 3) hubungan antara kemampuan merancang perangkat pem­belajaran dengan kinerja praktik mengajar mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Bio­logi di Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Madani Paopao Kabupaten Gowa dalam ka­te­gori kuat.Abstract:This research aims to know the description of the ability to design learning tools, des­crip­tion of the performance of the teaching practice of students, and the re­la­tion­ship between the ability of designing learning tools with the teaching practice of the students of the Biology education Department  who conducted teaching prac­tice in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Madani Paopao Gowa Regency.  This research is a correlational research. Research respondents are 10 students of Biology Edu­ca­tion department. This  research, is evaluative. The instruments used to collect data are assessment scale and observation sheet. Data analysis techniques use des­criptive statistics and inferential statistics Pearson Product Moment Corre­lation. The results showed that  1) the ability of students to design learning tools are  in good category, 2) the performance of teaching practice are in good ca­tegory, 3) the relationship between the ability of designing learning tools with the performance of teaching practice of Biology Education department students at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Madani Paopao Gowa Regency are in strong category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik mikroorganisme lokal media nasi, batang pisang, dan ikan tongkol terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi Brassica juncea). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan mengunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan sehingga diperoleh 20 satuan percobaan. Perlakuan A (perlakuan kontrol), Perlakuan B (dosis pupuk 100 ml tiap 1 liter air), Perlakuan C (dosis pupuk 150 ml tiap 1 liter air), dan Perlakuan D (dosis pupuk 200 ml tiap 1 liter air). Variabel yang diukur adalah pertumbuhan tanaman Sawi (Brassica juncea) yang meliputi berat basah tanaman, jumlah daun dan tinggi tanaman. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis of varians (ANOVA) dengan uji lanjut menggunakan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk organik mikroorganisme lokal media nasi, batang pisang, dan ikan tongkol memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Sawi (Brassia juncea) yang dalam hal ini pada berat basah tanaman, jumlah daun, dan tinggi tanaman. Selain Itu, peningkatan dosis pupuk tidak memberikan hasil yang tinggi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Sawi, hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari konsentrasi/dosis pupuk yang memberikan pengaruh paling tinggi terhadap pertumbuhan (Berat basah, jumlah daun, dan tinggi) tanaman Sawi adalah konsentrasi/dosis 100 ml tiap 1 liter air (Perlakuan B) yang merupakan penggunaan dosis pupuk paling rendah.

Abstract

Indonesia mengalami perubahan yang cukup besar dalam bidang pendidikan. Hal ini disebabkan adanya wabah virus Covid-19 sehingga menyebabkan proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara online yang pada akhirnya mempengaruhi motivasi belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality dan media Power Point pada materi virus kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian yakni kelas eksperimen 1 (X IPA 2) sebanyak 25 peserta didik dan kelas eksperimen 2 (X IPA 3) sebanyak 25 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata motivasi belajar peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan media Augmented Reality sebesar 65,76% sedangkan rata-rata motivasi belajar peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan media Power Point sebesar 58,12%. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikan (0,004 < 0,05) menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima yakni terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan media Augmented Reality dan media Power Point pada materi virus kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menuntut keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi meliputi 4Cs (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) yang dapat diupayakan melalui mengembangkan bahan ajar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Tujuan penelitian untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar Anatomi dan Fisiologi Tumbuhan berbasis mindmap. Proses pengembangan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri atas 5 fase yaitu; fase investigasi awal; fase desain; fase realisiasi/konstruksi; fase tes evaluasi, dan revisi; dan fase implementasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2019/2020 dengan subjek penelitian mahasiwa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi UIN Alauddin Makassar semester Empat (IV). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar Anatomi dan Fisiologi Tumbuhan dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata penilai 3,6 pada kategori sangat valid dan praktis dengan 92,25% responden memberikan respon positif dari keseluruhan item yang ditanyakan (100%). Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) mahasiswa khususnya mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menuntut keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi meliputi 4Cs (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) sehingga dibutuhkan inovasi pembelajaran salah satunya dengan inovasi LKPD. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping pada materi sistem pernapasan yang valid dan praktis sebagai bentuk inovasi Pendidikan biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian research and development dengan model pengembangan 4D. Produk yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini berupa LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping pada materi sistem pernapasan dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kajian literatur, uji kevalidan dan uji kepraktisan. Instrumen pada penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi untuk mengukur tingkat kevalidan dan angket untuk melihat tingkat kepraktisan produk. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik sebanyak 12 orang. Hasil  pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping pada materi sistem pernapasan yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas dengan skor 3,86 dan tingkat kepraktisan yaitu 3,51 dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid dan praktis sehingga layak untuk digunakan. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu, LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping layak digunakan sebagai salah satu media yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi khususnya pada materi sistem pernapasan.

Abstract

Training on the integration of research and Community Service (Pkm) into courses aims to provide additional competencies to lecturers in preparing Semester Learning Plans (RPS). The subject of service was a Lecturer at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Alauddin Makassar as many as 8 participants with representatives from several study programs in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Alauddin. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire that is distributed through a google form. Training on the integration of research and Community Service (Pkm) into this course is very in line with the needs of participants, namely in this case lecturers in preparing a Semester Learning Plan (RPS) and covering the entire content of the training theme. Training participants have an understanding in applying the integration of research and Community Service (Pkm) to courses and of course provide great benefits. This training is expected to be able to give birth to a guideline for the integration of research and PkM.
