Abstract

Local varieties onions (Allium ascolinicum L) of Palu are mostly presented as fried onion, it because has excellent taste that demanded by consumers. This study was planned to determine the quality of the chemical and physical properties, as well the organoleptic of the fried onions which were produced from various locations in Palu valley. Research design was a randomized block design with 5 locations of onion planting as treatments and defined 4 plots of anion in each village as group. The 5 locations namely are Bolupontu jaya, Soulowe, Guntarano, Maku and Oluboju. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and tested with Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) method. The results indicated that the location where the onions were planted  in Palu valley affected significantly the chemical properties such as water content, free fatty acid levels, oil content, carbohydrate content, protein content, and mineral content especially calcium and sulfur. Further, the location was also significantly effect on dry biomass of fried onions.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Makalah ini ditulis bertujuan  untuk membantu  mengatasi salah satu dari sekian banyak permasalahan yang ada dalam pengajaran reading pada sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Selain itu makalah ini juga dimaksudkan sebagai masukan bagi guru-guru bahasa inggris dalam melaksanakan pelajaran reading sehingga siswa tertarik dan termotivasi untuk belajar reading.Dalam makalah ini penulis membahas bagaimana pengajaran reading melalui penggabungan strategi Click and Clunk dan strategi 3H (here, hidden, in the head). Strategi ini dapat mempermudah guru meningkatkan keinginan siswa dalam membaca dan mempermudah siswa dalam menyampaikan pendapatnya. Ada beberapa langkah yang digunakan dalam penggabungan dua strategi ini secara garis besar strategi Click and Clunk membantu siswa membaca dalam bahasa inggris untuk memahami sebuah teks.  Strategi 3H (here, hidden, in the head) bertujuan untuk membantu siswa untuk menemukan jawaban baik tersurat maupun tersirat dengan mudah. Tujuan dari penggabungan dua strategi ini agar siswa menjadi lebih mengerti dan paham dan bisa menemukan jawaban yang ada didalam teks secara mudah dalam bahasa inggris. Penulis mengharapkan agar penggabungan strategi-strategi ini bisa menjadi panduan bagi guru dalam mengajar reading.

Abstract

Based on the early observation by researchers of the two Science textbooks 7th Grade about biological material, 1st and 2nd semester of curriculum 2013, there were errors in the material presentation and legibility. This study aimed to compare and find the contents suitability of the book based on standard of competence and basic competences, readability, materials presentation and supporting material in the science textbook VII grade, 1st and 2nd semester and measured student legibility. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach by using document analysis. The data resources were obtained by using purposive, the data collection was triangulation, data analysis was inductive/qualitative and the results emphasized the meaning. This research results showed that the Integrated Sciences and Sciences textbook 1st and 2nd semester meet the standards of the core competencies and basic competence on the syllabus  curriculum 2013 and also meet the books standart. The results of the analysis conducted in misstatement concept and principles and material llustration in the Integrated Science textbook 1st semester were found 5 misstatement concept, for the presentation of the principles and material illustration was found no error. In the book Integrated Sciences there was no delivery errors concept, principle, and material illustration. Science textbook 1st semester found 8 concepts misstatements and 8 illustration material misstatements. In general, Integrated Sciences and Sciences textbooks 1st and 2nd semester are illegibility so not appropriate for students.

Abstract

NUR ANISA (C1A3 14 045), Jurusan Ilmu Administrasi Bisnis, Fakultas Ilmu Administrasi, Universitas Halu Oleo Kendari dengan judul “Pengaruh Penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada Imperial Hotel Kendari.” Dibimbing oleh Gunawan dan Makmur Kambolong.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi Pengaruh Penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Imperial Hotel Kendari. Responden yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang responden dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa pembagian kuisioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana menggunakan SPSS Statistic 17.0 for windows dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Uji t (uji parsial).Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa variabel TQM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Ini dibuktikan dengan membandingkan nilai thitung dan ttabel. Nilai thitung = 12,471 dengan signifikan t = 0,000 sedangkan ttabel = 1,68595 dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Nilai thitung (12,471) > ttabel (1,68595), maka berarti Ha dalam penelitian ini diterima.  Kata Kunci : Total Quality Management (TQM) ; Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the impact of transformation of Kampung Arab Al-Munawar Palembang into a tourism object. The writer uses the qualitative and descriptive method in this research. The data collected through survey method is by interviewing samples selected randomly to observe the effects of transformation and development experienced by development of Kampung Al-Munawar both socio-cultural and economic aspect of the community. The results of this research shows that the transformation of Kampung Al-Munawar has a positive effect on physical form of dwelling, economic, and social cultural aspects of the community. The forms of residental houses are going to be more beautiful and well maintained. The economy seems to be more always, with the appearance of several new ventures of community. Community became more consistent to maintain the customs and habits of Kampung Al-Munawarin in order not to be contaminated with the habits of visitors. Culture of the community is growing and preserved so that it can be known by the domesticpublic and overseas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance of the Effect of Application of Total Quality Management (TQM) on Employee Performance at the Imperial Hotel Kendari. The number of respondents in this study were 40 respondents with data collection techniques used in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis method in this study is a simple linear regression analysis using SPSS Statistics 17.0 for windows with hypothesis testing using the t test (partial test). Based on the results of data analysis and the results of hypothesis testing shows that the TQM variable has a significant effect on employee performance. This is proven by comparing the value of tcount and ttable. T value = 12,471 with significant t = 0,000 while ttable = 1,68595 with significant level α = 0,05. Abstract

Background: The prevalence of anemia suffered by girls aged 10-18 years according to the Household Health Survey (SKRT) is 57.1%. The highest contributor of anemia cases in Central Java is Grobogan district, especially in Tanggungharjo Community Health Center, with increasing prevalence of anemia among young women in 2017 from 5.4% to 25.7%. Based on background, researcher wants to determine the effect of Moringa leaf combination dozed 250 mg x 2 / day and vitamin C 50 mg x 2 / day on hemoglobin level changes of young women suffering anemia to decrease anemia in young women Methodology: This quasi experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design involved young women aged 14-19 years suffering anemia. The method of sampling selection was purposive sampling with total 22 respondents assigned as intervention group and other 22 respondent assigned as intervention group. The data analysis used Mann-Whitney test. Results: The average of hemoglobin level in the intervention group increased from 9.37 to 12.10. It proved statistically that there was effect of giving Moringa leaf and vitamin C combination to increase level of hemoglobin of young women suffering anemia. Conclusion: Moringa leaves could significantly increase hemoglobin levels in blood of young women suffering anemia. Raising awareness of anemia and its prevention and treatment among young women should be recommended.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the effect of project-based learning on creative thinking skills in students of class XI IPS in SMA N 1 Talang Ubi KAB. PALI, the research method used is the experimental method. There are two classes used for the research sample, namely class XI IPS 3 as an experimental class and class XI IPS 2 as a control class, each class has 32 students, the material used in this study is natural disaster mitigation by giving treatment to the experimental class in the form of making projects about natural disaster mitigation is made in groups and presented to the class, it aims to create a brave and confident attitude of students and trigger students to think creatively, while in the control class only using conventional models or lectures, the results which can be obtained is that there is an influence of the application of the project-based learning model on the creative thinking ability of students of class XI IPS SMA N 1 Talang Ubi Kab. PALI with an average score of 79.5 for the experimental class and 67.1 for the control class. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada peserta didil kelas XI IPS di SMA N 1 Talang Ubi KAB. PALI, metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Terdapat dua kelas yang di gunakan untuk sampel penelitian yaitu kelas XI IPS 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol, kedua kelas masing masing berjumlah 32 peserta didik, materi yang di gunakan pada peneltian ini adalah mitigasi bencana alam dengan memberikan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen berupa pembuatan proyek tentang mitigasi bencana alam dibuat perkelompok dan di presentasikan ke depan kelas,hal ini bertujuan untuk menimbulkan sikap berani dan percaya diri peserta didik dan mimicu peserta didik untuk berpikir kreatif , sementara pada kelas kontrol hanya menggunakan model konvensional atau ceramah,  hasil yang di dapat adalah ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI IPS SMA N 1 Talang Ubi Kab. PALI dengan hasil rata rata kelas eksperimen 79,5 dan kelas kontrol 67,1.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pemahaman tentang proses berpikir telah beralih ke pandangan multidimensi-lebih mirip jaringan kemampuan interaktif yang kompleks daripada proses linier, hierarkis, atau spiral. Hal ini memerlukan multi strategi dalam pembelajaran, sehingga anak dapat menggunakan kecakapan berpikir tingkat tinggi sehingga dapat memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu guru TK perlu dilatih untuk mengembangkan permainan yang dapat memicu higer order thinking skills pada anak. Metode yang digunakan Pemaparan materi pelatihan, workshop penyusunan rancangan permainan berbasis HOTS, presentasi hasil rancangan permainan, perbaikan hasil rancangan permainan berdasarkan masukana dari teman dan fasilitator, Peer teaching, yaitu memperaktikkan hasil rancangan permainan berbasis HOTS di kalangan guru TK se Kecamatan Klojen, Malang. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merancang dan melaksanakan aktivitas bermain yang dapat memicu higer order thinking skills pada anak TK. Jadi melalui pelatihan ini, peserta mampu merancang dan melaksanakan aktivitas bermain yang dapat memicu higer order thinking skills pada anak usia 4-6 tahun.Abstract: An understanding of the thought process has shifted to a multidimensional view — more like a network of complex interactive abilities than a linear, hierarchical, or spiral process. This requires multiple strategies in learning, so that children can use higher-order thinking skills so they can solve problems in their daily lives. Therefore Kindergarten teachers need to be trained to develop games that can trigger higer order thinking skills in children. Methods used Presentation of training materials, HOTS-based game design workshops, presentation of game design results, improvement of game design results based on input from friends and facilitators, Peer teaching, namely practicing HOTS-based game design results among kindergarten teachers in Klojen District, Malang. The results of the training show that there is an increase in the ability of teachers to design and implement play activities that can trigger higer order thinking skills in kindergarten children. So through this training, participants are able to design and carry out play activities that can trigger higer order thinking skills in children aged 4-6 years.
