Abstract

This study aims was determine the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model based on portfolio assessment on the ability to critical thinking in mathematics. The research sample was 120 elementary school students in South Kalimantan. sampling was used multistage cluster sampling technique. This research was a quasiexperimental research. Data analysis was performed used a two-way ANACOVA test. The results showed that (1) Problem based learning had an influence on students' critical thinking skills in mathematics because the Fcount obtained was 6.351 compared to F table (0.05< 1.115), which was 3.93. (2) it was said that there was a significant influenced between the interaction of learning models and assessment techniques on students' critical thinking skills in mathematics because the Fcount obtained was 25.669 compared to Ftable (0.05< 1.115), namely 3.93. (3) it was not true that the portfolio assessment technique has a significant effect on students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The Fcount obtained was 1.476 compared to Ftable (0.05>1.115), which was 3.93. Judging from the value of sig. (0.227) > α (0.05)

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find learning model steps that are able to develop critical thinking skills, as well as to analyze students' learning outcomes. The combination of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) model steps is a learning strategy that is expected to be implemented effectively. The method used in this research is Research and Development. The research stages can be broken down as follows: (1) the preparation stage, (2) the Problem Based Learning and HOTS Model Development stage, (3) the model effectiveness analysis stage. The results of the research on the development of the Problem Based Learning and HOTS Model obtained an increase in students' critical thinking skills of 42.50, and learning outcomes with an average score of 86.14. Students' critical thinking gain of 0.75 is included in the high category. The conclusion from the research results is that the Problem Based Learning and HOTS models are effectively implemented in learning at SDN Kertak Hanyar, in other words can improve critical thinking skills, and student learning outcomes. As a follow-up to the results of this study, a wider dissemination of the steps of the Problem Based Learning and HOTS model will be carried out to teachers at Banjar Regency elementary schools

Abstract

This research is motivated by the flexibility provided by the independent curriculum to educational units to develop school programs that suit local geographic, social and cultural characteristics. Higher education institutions as school partners need to conduct research and develop school programs that are relevant to the wetland environment. This research aims to determine the level of effectiveness of the '‘BANGKIT’' school program which is an acronym for Moral, Religious, Numeracy & Literacy, Environmental Care Movement, Collaboration, Information & Technology which is a reference for developing elementary school level school programs in the wetland environment of South Kalimantan. This research used the Research and Development method, the research subjects were 191 elementary school students in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The research results show that the '‘BANGKIT’' program has proven to be significantly effective in increasing students' moral, religious, numeracy, literacy, ecological, collaboration and technology mastery competencies in wetland environments. The results of this research are supported by the results of the mean difference test using the paired sample t-test method with the help of SPSS software which shows a significance value that is smaller than 0.05 (0.05>0.000), the t-test value is greater than the t-table (2.337> 0.67667), and the posttest mean score was higher than the pretest (137.15>135.05). The level of increase if calculated using the N-Gain method shows a result of 0.312, which means there is an increase in the moderate category.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi belum optimalnya pengembangan program sekolah yang relevan dengan karakteristik geografis, sosial, dan budaya di sekolah dasar lingkungan lahan basah. Pendampingan yang dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam menganalisis potensi daerah sebagai dasar pengembangan program sekolah. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan pendampingan adalah 50 orang guru pada KKG Aluh-Aluh Kabupaten Banjar Kalimantan Selatan. Pendampingan dilakukan selama 7 bulan yang terdiri dari enam tahapan yang meliputi: (1) workshop penyamaan persepsi kurikulum merdeka; (2) workshop analisis karakteristik sosial, ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya pada wilayah setempat dan analisis kebutuhan program sekolah; (3) workshop pendampingan penyusunan program sekolah untuk proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila; serta (4) monitoring dan evaluasi implementasi program sekolah. Berdasarkan monitoring dan evaluasi diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam penguasaan konsep penyusunan program sekolah dengan perolehan skor 44 (kategori sangat baik), kompetensi analisis potensi sekolah dengan skor 43 (kategori sangat baik), dan kompetensi mengembangkan program sekolah untuk penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dengan skor 38 (kategori baik) Adapun tingkat peningkatan jika dihitung menggunakan metode N-Gain menunjukkan hasil 0.427 yang artinya terjadi peningkatan kompetensi guru kategori sedang

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan bimbingan dan pelatihan tentang membuat perencanaan penilaian kepada para guru Sekolah Dasar. Kemudian Pendidik diberikan pendampingan dalam merumuskan indikator instrument penilaian, dan menetukan teknik penilaian yang tepat pada penilaian pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan memberikan gambaran teknis pelaksanaanya di Sekolah Dasar serta melaksanakan penilaian proyek pada pembelajaran matematika, sesuai teknik penilaian yang tepat berdasarkan kompetensi dasar yang diajarkan. Target peserta pelatihan seperti direncanakan sebelumnya adalah 40 orang yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan pendidik mengajar matematika SD se-Kecamatan Kusan Hulu. Yang mana seluruh peserta di berikan bekal pengetahuan tentang konsep dan prosedur pembuatan serta implementasi penilaian berbasis proyek pada pembelajaran matematika Sekolah Dasar.
