Abstract

Air bersih merupakan kebutuhan dasar masyarakat dan masyarakat desa umumnya memiliki akses yang kurang terhadap sumber daya air bersih. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bayas Jaya, Kecamatan Way Khilau, Kabupaten Pesawaran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang konservasi sumber daya air, kualitas air, dan pengelolaan sumber daya air. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan meliputi: (1) assessment pengetahuan masyarakat tentang sumberday air, (2) penyuluhan pengelolaan sumber daya aair, dan (3) pendampingan penguatan tatakelol pengelolaan sumber daya air Pengabdian ini melibatkan 32 masyarakat yang mewakili 7 dusun, kelompok masyarakat, pemerintah desa, dan pihak yang berkepentingan seperti proyek BPDAS HL Way Seputih Way Sekampung melalui proyek CCCD serta KPHL Kabupaten Pesawaran. Masyarakat diberikan pelatihan tentang konservasi sumberday air, kualitasn air, dan pengelolaan sumberdaya air. Peserta pelatihan kemudian dilakukan pre-test dan post-test kegiatan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pengetahuan masyarakat tentang konservasi sumberday air, (2) pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kualitas air meningkat, dan (3) terdapat keiningan untuk membentuk kelompok pengelola sumber daya air

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe teacher's perception toward usage of interactive e-books based Problem Based Learning (PBL) to Envhance Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research was conducted in 50 junior high school science teachers. The method used in this research is a mixed method with Sequential Explanatory Design. The method used in this study is a mixed method with Sequential Explanatory Design. Data is retrieved using questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The survey results show that students have a positive perception of interactive e-books based PBL. The results of the analysis of e books, most eachers have not used interactive e books with a PBL approach to provide an understanding of science. E books that have not trained students' HOTS are also included in the low category because teacher has not set strategies, methods, models and lack of knowledge about technology. It can be said that interactive e-book based PBL are needed by teachers and students to improve students’ HOTS. Keywords: teacher perception, interactive e-books, problem-based learning, higher order thinking skills. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru tentang peranan e-book interaktif berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi (HOTS). Penelitian ini melibatkan 50 guru IPA SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode campuran dengan Sequential Explanatory Design. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi positif terhadap buku elektronik berbasis PBL. Hasil analisis e-book, sebagian besar guru belum memanfaatkan e-book interaktif dengan pendekatan PBL untuk memberikan pemahaman IPA. E book saat ini yang belum melatih HOTS siswa juga termasuk dalam kategori rendah karena guru belum menetapkan strategi, metode, model dan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang teknologi. Dapat dikatakan bahwa e-book interaktif PBL sangat dibutuhkan oleh guru dan siswa untuk meningkatkan HOTS siswa.Kata kunci: presepsi guru, e-book interaktif, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i1.pp234-243

Abstract

Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek atau project based learning (PjBL) merupakan model pembelajaran di mana siswa mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui suatu proyek dalam jangka waktu tertentu, untuk menyelidiki dan menanggapi pertanyaan kompleks.  Pada model ini, pembelajaran dirancang berdasarkan masalah kehidupan nyata dan ber­sifat ill-structured, sehingga siswa menjadi terdorong lebih aktif dalam belajar dan kreativitas siswa menjadi berkembang. Akan tetapi faktanya kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan model ini relatif rendah.  Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan penyusunan LKS berbasis model PjBL. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman guru IPA tentang model PjBL, dan keterampilan guru IPA dalam menyusun LKS berbasis PjBL.  Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan pendampingan. Kegiatan ini  dilaksanakan di gedung G FKIP Universitas Lampung.  Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru IPA yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA Kota Bandar Lampung dan Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Model evaluasi program yang digunakan adalah model evaluasi Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang model PjBL, hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan nilai postes dibandingkan nilai pretes dengan n-gain rata-rata sebesar 0,88 (kategori tinggi); dan meningkatnya keterampilan guru dalam menyusun LKS berbasis model PjBL DOI: https://doi.org/10.23960/rp/v1i2.hal.74-81

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher’s perception of flipped classroom learning strategy using STEM-integrated E-Modules in improving systems thinking ability. The research was conducted in Lampung Province, Indonesia, and was nvolving 50 junior high school science teachers. The method used in this research is mixed methods with Sequential Explanatory Design. Data was retrieved using Questionnaire, and were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The survey results show that teachers have a positive perception of the STEM approach.  The results of the analysis also show that most teachers have not used the STEM approach in schools to provide an understanding of science. In addition, teachers also have not implemented STEM-integrated teaching materials.

Abstract

Abstract Disaster literacy needs to be introduced to provide understanding to students and minimize disaster risk. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of an interactive e-module based on Microsoft Sway which is valid and effective in increasing students literacy. The design of this study uses a 4D (four-D) Research dan Development (R and D) model. The research sample consisted of control and experimental classes with instruments in the form of test instruments, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis was based on n-gain data, effect size, and descriptive percentages of teacher and student responses. The percentages of construct, content, and language validation obtained were 84.68 percent, 80.58 percent, and 86 percent respectively, with all valid criteria. The study findings indicate that the use of an interactive e-module based on Microsoft Sway is valid and highly effective in improving students’ disaster literacy skills. Keywords: Interactive e-module, disaster literacy skills, disaster literacy, Microsoft Sway. Abstrak: Literasi bencana perlu diperkenalkan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa dan meminimalisir risiko bencana. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan e-modul interaktif berbasis Microsoft Sway yang valid dan memiliki efektivitas untuk meningkatkan literasi kebencanaan siswa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain Riset and Development (R dan D) model 4D (four-D). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas kontrol dan eksperimen dengan istrumen berupa instrumen tes, angket dan wawancara. Analisis data berdasarkan data n-gain, effect size dan persentase deskriptif tanggapan guru dan siswa. Persentase validasi konstruk, isi dan bahasa yang diperoleh secara berturut-turut adalah 84.68 persen, 80,58 persen and 86 persen dengan kriteria seluruhnya valid. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test and post-test didapatkan N-gain 0,66 dengan kriteria sedang untuk meningkatkan literasi kebencanaan siswa. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to develop a PBL-STEM-based e-worksheet to improve students' disaster literacy using Microsoft Sway. This study uses the Research and Development (RD) method with 4d (four-D). The 4D development model consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The instrument used is a needs questionnaire, test instrument. The results of the study stated that the attractiveness of e-LKPD was 88.20%, convenience was 87.52%, and usefulness was 90.96%. The result of Effect Size on PBL-STEM-based e-worksheet on disaster literacy is 0.72 in the high category. PBL-STEM-based e-worksheet is used to grow literacy effectiveness, especially earthquake threat materials in areas with an N-gain value of 0.68 and moderately qualified. Teachers and students stated that the use of letters, sentences and language in the e-worksheet was easy to understand, indicating that the PBL-STEM-based e-LKPD used to study the threat of earthquake disasters in areas was interesting, useful and the language used was easy to understand and could improve disaster literacy. junior high school students. Keywords: e-Worksheet, PBL-STEM, disaster literacy, Microsoft Sway. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e-LKPD berbasis PBL-STEM untuk meningkatkan literasi bencana siswa dengan menggunakan Microsoft Sway . Abstract

Pahawang Island is one of Lampung's tourist attractions known for its high organism biodiversity. The diversity of coral reefs contained in it causes Pahawang to have economic value for the audience. This study aims to determine the coverage and condition of coral reefs in the Pahawang area as a tourist attraction and identify the diversity of organisms within. This study used the Line Intercept Transect (LIT) method by dividing the plot of the observation area by six (6) identification points for data collection. Measurement data on each line transect, furthermore the closing value is calculated. The number of species was calculated by determining the value of the invertebrate diversity index. The results showed that the length of coral cover on Pahawang Island was 80.3% which lies in the “very good” category. Most of the corals have experienced bleaching which suggests that the corals are not in healthy condition. Species diversity shows that eleven (11) species reside in the Pahawang Island coral reef. The Shanon-Wiener diversity index value (H') 1.87 is categorized at the medium level. Therefore, the condition of coral cover on Pahawang Besar Island is still in the very good category.

Abstract

The transition of the process of teaching and learning activities from face-to-face learning systems to online learning systems certainly provides significant changes. Online learning requires students to be more active in learning activities because teachers cannot monitor their learning process directly. This study aims to determine teacher and student perceptions, self-efficacy, concept mastery, and the interrelation between self-efficacy and conceptual mastery students of class X MIPA in online learning. The design used is descriptive quantitative with a correlational approach. The research sample consisted of 3 biology teachers and 118 students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya which were sampled from the population using total sampling technique. The research was carried out in June of the even semester of 2021. Quantitative data in the form of mastery of class X students' concepts of environmental change were obtained using questions, while qualitative data in the form of teacher perceptions, student perceptions, and student self-efficacy used a questionnaire in the form of google form. Data on perception, self-efficacy and concept mastery were analyzed descriptively, while the correlation between self-efficacy and concept mastery was analyzed inferentially with Product Moment. The results showed that the teacher's perception was categorized as good (67.28%). Students' perceptions are categorized as good (69.71%). Self-efficacy of students in the high category (67.87%). Mastery of concepts in the high category (39%). There is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and mastery concept of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya with a low degree of relationship. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jbt.v11.i1.27394

Abstract

Mathematical representation and connection ability are part of the student's ability. Because of their low ability, educators will find it difficult to determine learning tools in the classroom. Therefore, finding a link between the two abilities is necessary to make it easier for teachers to prepare lessons. This study aims to determine the relationship between representational abilities and students' mathematical connections. The population in this study were all grade eight students at a state junior high school in Merbau Mataram, with a total sample of 34 selected using a class random sampling technique. The research instrument was a mathematical representation test and a connection ability test with a total of six questions. Data analysis used the correlation coefficient test of the Pearson/Product Moment formula. The results showed a significant relationship between students' mathematical representation ability and the overall connection. This means that the ability of mathematical representation is directly proportional to the ability of mathematical connections. The higher the student's mathematical representation ability, the higher the student's connection ability, and vice versa. Teachers can focus on preparing learning tools for one of these two abilities.

Abstract

E-LKPD adalah Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis elektronik. Pengembangan E-LKPD ditujukan untuk inovasi pembelajaran ke arah digital dan modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan E-LKPD dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Studi pendahuluan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian survey. Wawancara dan angket merupakan instrument penelitian yang digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data dengan berbantukan format google form yang disebar kepada Guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) se-Bandar Lampung melalui forum MGMP IPA. Seluruh Guru SMP forum MGMP IPA Kota Bandar Lampung dipilih sebagai populasi penelitian. Penentuan jumlah sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dengan 40 orang responden. Hasil survey menegaskan bahwa terdapat 59,375% Guru menggunakan media pembelajaran LKPD secara konvensional, 60,625% Guru sudah menggunakan E-LKPD namun dalam konsep biasa, sementara 53,75% Guru sudah menerapkan E-LKPD berbasis audio visual. Namun, penerapan E-LKPD berbasis audio visual masih sedikit Guru yang mengkombinasikan E-LKPD tersebut dengan keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Sedemikian itu, penelitian ini mencoba menganalisis kebutuhan dalam upaya pentingnya pengembangan E-LKPD untuk meningkatkan pemahaman keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA.
