The purposes of this research were to increase the activity and study result through the implementation of inquiry methods. The method of research was classroom action research that consisted of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The technique of data analysis was using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of research showed that the implementation of inquiry methods can increase the activity and study result of student. The result of study showed that the aplication of inquiry method can increase students result and activity in learning. The percentage of students activity in cycle I was 68,42% with Active chategory and cycle II was 84,21% with Very active chategory, it increased 15,79%. The average score for cycle I was 70,15 with Middle chategory and cycle II becomes 74,71 with High chategory, it increased 4,56. The percentage of students result in cycle I was 68,42% and cycle II was 78,92%, it increased 10,5%.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar melalui penerapan metode inkuiri. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Persentase aktivitas siklus I sebesar 68,42% dengan kategori aktif dan siklus II sebesar 84,21% dengan kategori sangat aktif terjadi peningkatan sebesar 15,79%. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siklus I sebesar 70,15 dengan kategori Sedang dan siklus II menjadi 74,71 dengan kategori Tinggi terjadi peningkatan sebesar 4,56. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa siklus I sebesar 68,42% dan siklus II sebesar 78,92% terjadi peningkatan sebesar 10,5%.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, metode inkuiri.
