Abstract

Semarang regency has a high population. This increase in population influences the high demand for population administration services, one of which is birth certificates. The length of the process of issuing birth certificates resulted in people being lazy to take care of themselves and preferring touts. This resulted in many people who do not have a birth certificate. Aji Welas innovation was created to complement previous innovations with a faster birth certificate issuance service which is one anniversary and expand the scope of birth certificate ownership in Semarang Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the attribute innovation and the factors that become the drivers and inhibitions of innovation. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The theory in this study uses the theory of Rogers, while the driving and inhibitory factors of Albury to know the characteristics and implementation of aji welas innovation. The results showed that Aji Welas innovation has 1) relative advantage, 2) conformity, 3) possibility of trying, 4) ease of observing, 5) complexity. In the implementation of innovation, Aji Welas has supporting factors, namely adequate human resources, and also supporting infrastructure facilities. In addition, in the implementation, there are also inhibitory factors, namely not budgeted for the implementation of socialization, constrained networks that often error or trouble, there are still many people who do not complete the document requirements when applying, and some innovation implementing officers Aji Welas who concurrently task. The advice given by researchers is that it is necessary to submit a budget for socialization, increase the strength of the network or wifi, encourage creative innovation publications, and recruit PPPK (Government Employees with Employment Agreements).

Abstract

This research objectives are to analyze the students cooperative learning group Investigation model and three-phase technique; To analyze the visual students and auditory students; To analyze the interaction between group investigation model and students learning styles. This is a true-experimental research. The sample selection was done by random class technique as much as two classes, where the first class was taught by group investigation model and second class with three-phase technique. The instruments used are validated conceptual test and questionnaires. The data in this research were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The results showed that the students using cooperative learning group investigation model was better than three-phase technique. Visual students shows better results than auditory students. There is an interaction between group Investigation model and students learning styles. This interaction shows visual students is dominant in group investigation model.

Abstract

Abstrak: Salah satu masalah besar yang dihadapi Indonesia saat ini yaitu pengelolaan sampah. Berbagai kebijakan dan program dilaksanakan untuk menangani masalah sampah, namun belum menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Pengelolaan sampah penting untuk dilakukan dimulai dari skala rumah tangga. Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pengelompokkan dan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat merupakan ibu rumah tangga di desa Karangreja, Kabupaten Bekasi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara. Seluruh peserta kegiatan menyatakan kegiatan ini bermanfaat dan bersedia untuk mengurangi jumlah sampah rumah tangga dengan cara membawa keranjang saat berbelanja, membawa wadah saat membeli makanan. Selain itu, diketahui terdapat peserta yang menggunakan kembali sampah rumah tangganya seperti penggunaan ember bekas untuk pot tanaman sayur, namun mayoritas peserta mengelola sampah dengan cara dibakar, dikubur, dibuang, dijual dan dijadikan pakan ternak.  Abstract:  One of the big problems facing Indonesia today is waste management. Various policies and programs have been implemented to deal with the waste problem, but have not shown significant results. Waste management is important to do starting from the household. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills about grouping and managing household waste. Partners of community service activities are housewives in Karangreja village, Bekasi Regency. Evaluation of activities is done by interview technique. All activity participants stated that this activity was useful and were willing to reduce the amount of household waste by carrying a basket when shopping, bringing a container when buying food. In addition, it is known that there are participants who reuse their household waste such as using used buckets for vegetable plant pots, but the majority of participants manage waste by burning, burying, throwing it away, selling it and making it animal feed.Abstrak: Salah satu masalah besar yang dihadapi Indonesia saat ini yaitu pengelolaan sampah. Abstract

This study aimed at examining the effectiveness of socrative and kahootto teach grammar to students with different interest. The objectives of the study are, to analyze high and low interest students’ score of grammar in order to explain the effectiveness of socrative, to analyze high and low interest students’ score of grammar in order to explain the effectiveness of kahoot, to analyze the significant difference between the students with high interest after taught by using Socrative and Kahoot to teach grammar, to analyze the significant difference between the students with low interest after taught by using Socrative and Kahoot to teach grammar, to analyze how the interaction is among teaching, students’ interest and grammar. It was an experimental research with 2x2 factorial design. I used questionnaire, observation and test. The data from questionnaire and grammar test is analyzed quantitatively using T-test and ANOVA.The results of this research showed that socrative to students with high and low interest (79.17 and 57.50) and kahoot to students with high and low interest (85.50 and 62.86) are effective. Mean score of kahoot multimedia was higher than socrative in teaching grammar. There was no significant interaction among multimedia, interest and students’ grammar achievement..

Abstract

As a form of effort to fulfill health services for the community by utilizing technological developments, the Semarang City Health Service issued the Semarang City No Queue Health Center (PUSTAKA) program for all health centers in Semarang City which is a form of public service innovation in the form of online registration to reduce queues for registration of treatment throughout the city. health center in the city of Semarang. Srondol Health Center is one of the health centers in Semarang City which has started using the PUSTAKA program for online registration for patients who register. The problem encountered is that the number of users of the PUSTAKA program is still small, so the queue for registration for treatment is still long. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the PUSTAKA program at the Srondol Health Center and also to see the obstacles faced in running the PUSTAKA program. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, and uses the theory of public administration, public services, and program effectiveness. The research respondents came from the PUSTAKA Admin of the Srondol Health Center, the Semarang City Health Office and the public using the PUSTAKA program. The results showed that the PUSTAKA program had not run effectively at the Srondol Health Center due to several obstacles including: (1) lack of human resources, (2) no clear procedures, (3) lack of staff skills, (4) inadequate infrastructure, and (5) lack of socialization by officers. Recommendations from researchers to increase the effectiveness of the PUSTAKA program are by increasing the number of human resources, making clear procedures about PUSTAKA, improving the facilities used, and more often socializing to the public about the PUSTAKA program

Abstract

The Parking Technical Unit (PTU) of Kudus Regency is an organization to handle parking in Kudus Regency, Central Java. Good parking management must be applied to achieve organizational goals, therefore organizational performance can be maximized. This study aims to analyze the organizational performance of Kudus PTU, as well as supporting faktors and performance barriers of the PTU in the parking management of Kudus Regency. Type of research is descriptive with qualitative approach, conducted at the PTU of Kudus Regency. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the performance of Kudus PTU Parking in parking management was still not optimal because the four indicators, namely productivity, responsiveness, responsibility and accountability, were not in a good condition yet. Productivity of parking revenues has not reached the specified target. The responsiveness aspect has not been maximized because the programs aimed at by the community have not been evenly distributed such as the installation of a portal machine in the parking area only installed a few places and not all parking uniforms have a complaint number. Then the responsibility aspects are still not maximal because of the parking rates are not in accordance with the existing regulations. Accountability carried out by the PTU is only internal, since parking revenues was not publicly reported. Supporting faktors of performance at the UPT Parking are leadership and its inhibiting faktors, personal faktors, team faktors, faktor systems and human resource faktors

Abstract

In every organization qualified element is needed to maximize performance. The human resources that the organization has have a variety of characteristics, including job competence, motivation and performance. The role of human resource in the organization is important because this source will become the factor that drives the organization to achieve its intended purpose. This study was conducted to determine the relationship of competence and motivation with the performance of Wonosobo district’s social service. This study used quantitative research with technique of sampling all employees who are 18 respondents. The analysis used was Spearman rank correlation test. Findings from the study indicate that the hypothesis which stated that there is a positive correlation between the ability and motivation to the performance of Wonosobo District’s Social Service is significantly acceptable with correlation coefficient value of each relationship is; the relationship between the performance of Wonosobo District’s Social Service with competence, is 0609 and the relationship between Wonosobo District’s Social Service performance of Wonosobo District’s Social Service with work motivation, is 0662. The result of the study showed a positive and significant relationship between competence and motivation with performance of Wonosobo District’s Social Service. This means that by increasing the competence and organizational performance will increase with increasing the motivation to increase organizational performance .

Abstract

Central Java Environmental Agency was formed with the aim to develop cooperation, strengthen institutional and self-reliance of society for handling pollution and/or environmental damages and biodiversity preservation. This research analyzed central java environmental agency (Observational Study in the Field of Environmental Pollution Control Department). The PERFORMANCE Seen through three dimensions including : service quality, the need for supervision, and responsiveness using qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, documentation, and Library Studies with informants from Central Java Environmental Agency (environmental pollution control Department) Based on the research indicated that performance of Central Java Environmental Agency (Observational study in the Field of Environmental pollution control department) is not optimal, because researcher found some obstacles seen on the Performance dimensions such Human Resources causing unoptimal supervision and ignorance about programs owned by Central Java Environmental Agency, while participation of society is very important to achieve its goals. To Overcome Barriers faced by Central Java Environmental Agency, some suggestions provided to optimalize its performance such as introducing Central Java Environmental Program deeply through several approaches like updating the news about implemented programs as well as conducting trainings shown to employees, engaging society in every programs, recruiting hnrary staff, and doing Periodic Maintenance And Repairing infrastructures quality.

Abstract

Konsep pengelolaan hutan yang melibatkan masyarakat sekitar hutan salah satunya adalah PHBM (Pengelolaan Hutan Bersama Masyarakat). Partisipasi masyarakat desa hutan sangat penting dalam berjalannya program PHBM, hal ini merupakan bentuk penghargaan dan pengakuan terhadap eksistensi individu dan masyarakat sebagai pemegang kekuasaan atas pembangunan, khususnya di bidang pengelolaan hutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi dan motivasi terhadap partisipasi masyarakat desa hutan dalam program PHBM di LMDH Wonosari, Sumber Agung, Wono Makmur dan Tunas Rimba BKPH Guwo. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu seluruh masyarakat desa hutan yang tergabung dalam LMDH Wonosari, Sumber Agung, Wono Makmur dan Tunas Rimba di BKPH Guwo yang berjumlah 74 orang petani. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 43 orang petani. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipilih untuk penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Proses analisis data yang akan dilakukan antara lain adalah uji validitas dan realibitas, analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis korelasi, serta koefisien determinasi. 2 Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa korelasi antara persepsi dan motivasi terhadap partisipasi masyarakat sebesar 0,667 yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang kuat antara persepsi dan motivasi masyarakat terhadap partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengikuti PHBM. Pengaruh persepsi dan motivasi masyarakat terhadap partisipasi masyarakat sebesar 44,4%. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 65,6% partisipasi masyarakat dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lainnya. Perlu meningkatkan peran Forum Komunikasi sebagai sarana partisipasi seluruh pihak yang berkepentingan dalam PHBM.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to; 1) to analyze the performance of Kelurahan Gedawang; 2) to know the inhibiting factors of organization performance of Gedawang Urban Village; and 3) to know the supporting factor of organizational performance of Kelurahan Gedawang Kota Semarang.This research uses qualitative approach with in-depth interview method. The theory used to describe the performance of the Kelurahan Gedawang organization is from Bernardin, which divides the performance based on 6 (six) criteria, namely; Quality, Quantity, Timeliness, Cost-effectiveness, Need for supervision, and Interpersonal impact. While narasumner used as many as 5 (five) people, namely Head of Kelurahan Gedawang; Secretary of Kelurahan Gedawang; Head of Public Service Section of Kelurahan Gedawang; Head of Community Welfare Section of Kelurahan Gedawang; and Head of Community Empowerment and Development Section of Kelurahan Gedawang. The finding of this research is that in doing service to society, can be seen from 6 (six) dimension of performance used by measure. From the quality dimension, the performance of the apparatus has not met the target. The quantity dimension shows that of the 43 planned activities, there are 37 activities that have been realized. The dimension of timeliness shows some of the programs already and is still ongoing, such as the making of tourist forests equipped with mushala, tennis and volleyball courts, tool warehouses, and workhouses; from the visible dimension of the lack of signage (guided explanation of the place) in Gedawang Village, making it difficult for people outside Gedawang to find the location in question. From the dimension of Need for supervision, it appears that the funds already allocated and already spent on tourism forests have turned out to be ambiguous due to the decline of Forestry Minister Regulation which prohibits that forests and zoos are managed by the government, even though they have absorbed substantial funds. From the dimensions of Interpersonal impact looks pretty good because it is able to attract private parties to help build a playground in the Village Gedawang. The existence of corporations in Semarang city that quite a lot, especially in Kelurahan Gedawang, has contributed positively to improving the performance of Kelurahan Gedawang. CSR assistance from the company proved to be very helpful in the construction of facilities and infrastructure in Gedawang Urban Village, specifically related to the protection of nature and the environment. The support also comes from the potential of Gedawang Urban Village, which still upholds mutual cooperation in doing all aspects and areas.
