Abstract

The learning program should be modified in accordance with the characteristics of the students which stem from four aspects, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor as well as physiological aspects. However, the trend of quality control in education is mostly focused on developing quality assurance and ignoring the assessment of learning outcomes. In fact, to obtain information about student development as part of efforts to satisfy educational customers requires simultaneous assessments. To ensure the fulfillment of these things, a comprehensive assessment of development and learning outcomes is needed supported by a measurement system that is in accordance with the characteristics of students. This effort is carried out as information on the development and learning outcomes of students in order to ensure the quality of education and learning. Assessment of learning outcomes as quality control of education can be formulated by combining assessment and evaluation of programs that can be applied to the implementation of the curriculum by conducting research, both qualitative and quantitative

Abstract

One of the problems in the boarding school environment is that the number of clothes that are no longer suitable for use is left alone, this motivates us to be able to use these unused clothes to become valuable materials in the form of doormats, so that the problem of clothing which is an endless problem at the pesantren is minimized a little. and can be used for useful things. These used clothes are assets that can be used to develop the creativity of the students and provide insight into entrepreneurship, not only oriented to science, but also to creativity, innovation and skill development of the students. In the future, we hope that this program can help assisted partners in terms of managing used clothes and can increase the creativity of these students. In its implementation, we use the Service Learning method, in order to pay attention to the environment and to be able to solve problems that often occur among cleaning workers, which have been a burden for them.

Abstract

The problem experienced by the people of Bulu Village lies in the lack of skills in processing bio-pharmaceutical plants into products of economic value. The emergence of the initiation of female leaders to empower the assets and potential of bio-farm plants is very much needed. Through a humanistic approach, it is possible for the participatory researchers and the PKK Bulu Village community to plan, conduct and evaluate research results. This is done as an effort to increase the role of female cadres through a community-based bio-pharmaceutical processing program in Bulu Village. The method of this community assistance program is service learning. Researchers conducted guidance to the female cadres of Bulu Village to be able to share knowledge in processing bio-farm plants into instant herbal medicine powder. Researchers empower students to share their knowledge with Bulu Village PKK members with stakeholder support. Activities carried out in two stages, namely the development of knowledge sharing programs and mainstreaming of knowledge sharing programs. The results of the mentoring show that the development of community potential is identified with the efforts of Bulu Village women cadres individually, institutions and systems to increase the potential of their members.

Abstract

Utilization of building wood waste as souvenirs at the Miftahul Mubtadiin Ar-Ridlo Islamic boarding school has been attempted in the santri empowerment program. The approach used is Asset Based Community Development, where the implementation team and service partners use existing assets and then develop and utilize them. Empowerment of boarding school administrators in the arts and furniture managers can show efforts to increase the capacity of cadres with the concept of No Body Has Nothing. This program can explore the smallest potential of the trainees. This is in line with the principle that every human being is born with their own strengths, no one is without potential, even if it is only the ability to smile, all have potential and all can contribute. The success of this skill dissemination proves that there has been a diffusion of educational innovation. The practice of service learning through the training carried out shows the efforts of administrators and students to cultivate their soft skills with the impact of changes, including: The emergence of new skilled cadres, the experience of the administrators in building partnerships so that they can optimize their potential and assets to develop the creativity of students in the carpentry field.

Abstract

Political policy is needed so that the government can regulate its interests so that education policy is a form of educational politics. In this regard, educational institutions that wish to exist within the framework of the national education system have a preference for carrying out government policies. This is a challenge for the world of Islamic boarding schools that wish to apply Islamic religious education, both formal and informal. The challenge of pesantren lies in the efforts to diffuse educational innovations in the political context of education. The study reviewed in this article is a literature review that seeks to present the idea of diffusion of educational innovation decision-making in Islamic boarding schools by using Everett M. Rogers' innovation diffusion perspective within the decision-making framework of James L. Gibson and George R. Terry's management functions. The results of the study show that the diffusion of innovation as formulated by Rogers is a process of communication within a social system using certain means and time which leads to the adoption process. To ensure the involvement of all elements of education, from policymakers to local units, diffusion must be based on decentralization. In addition, the local unit becomes a determinant in making decisions on the implementation of management functions. Local unit - in the context of management the staff involved in decision-making at the planning stage will be bound by the consequences of an innovation (desirable consequence). Innovations can be carried out by pesantren administrators at the direct consequence stage.

Abstract

Law Number 18 of 2019 provides the legal basis for integrating madrasahs with Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), aiming to ensure that formal madrasahs within pesantren meet national education standards. One of the challenges faced by formal madrasahs in pesantren is meeting the standards of formal education, including facilities, teacher qualifications, and appropriate curriculum. This research aims to broaden understanding and contribute to the development of formal madrasahs within pesantren. In this study, the researcher employed a secondary data analysis method following the procedures formulated by Heaton from Andrews. The research findings indicate that the development of formal madrasahs within pesantren demonstrates that pesantren are not solely focused on religious education but also provide opportunities for students to receive quality formal education. Several efforts can be made to address the challenges of formal madrasahs within pesantren, including enhancing the quality of education, teacher training to improve qualifications, collaboration with higher education institutions, improving facilities and infrastructure, developing integrated curricula, providing guidance and mentoring, establishing collaborative networks, and strengthening funding. As an alternative solution, it is recommended to transform the top-down and discriminatory approach to madrasah development into a participatory approach in order to achieve effectiveness. The development of formal madrasahs within pesantren towards effective madrasahs can refer to well-established madrasah development programs that have proven their credibility as models.
