Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa Kelas IV SDI 003 Buriro, dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang. Jenis data yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian siklus I ketuntasan belajar klasikal yakni 77,33% dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 23 orang dan yang tidak tuntas 7 orang siswa. Pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebanyak 93,33% dengan rincian 28 orang siswa tuntas dan 2 orang siswa yang masih belum tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa dengan penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses, Hasil Belajar IPA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan hasil belajar IPA melalui metode eksperimen pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Siwalempu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan  kelas yang dilaksanakan secara bersiklus. Pembelajaran ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu tahap awal, tahap inti yang terdiri dari tiga fase yaitu fase eksplorasi, fase pengenalan konsep, fase aplikasi konsep dan tahap akhir. Selama  kegitan belajar mengajar, siswa telah melaksanakan aktifitas dengan baik seperti memperhatikan penjelasan guru/teman kelompok, siswa membaca LKS, bekerja dengan menggunakan alat peraga secara bersama-sama mencatat yang relevan dengan pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini aktivitas guru juga telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, seperti memberikan materi dengan menggunakan alat peraga, melibatkan siswa secara langsung dalam pembelajaran, mengamati kegitan siswa, memberi petujuk/bimbingan, memberimotivasi dan mengajukan pertanyaan. Tingkat pencapaian konsep gaya dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Siwalempu pada setiap akhir pembelajaran tersebut dari siklus I dan siklus II. Pada siklus I ketuntasan konsep gaya klasikal 43,33%, aktivitas belajar siswa 60% dan aktivitas guru 70%. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan yaitu ketuntasan konsep gaya klasikal 83,34%, aktivitas belajar siswa 82,25% dan aktivitas guru 95%. Dengan demikian penerapan pembelajaran metode eksperimen pada konsep gaya dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Siwalempu. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang penerapan Langkah Polya yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi soal cerita sistem persamaan linear dua variabel di kelas VIII B1 SMP Negeri 14 Palu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yakni perencanaa, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 14 Palu tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan jumlah siswa 26 orang. Subjek penelitian yang dipilih sebagai informan didasarkan pada hasil tes awal dan pertimbangan guru matematika kelas VIII B1 SMP Negeri 14 Palu. Langkah Polya yang diterapkan terdiri atas 4 langkah yaitu: (1) Memahami masalah, (2) merencanakan penyelesaian (3) melaksanakan perencanaan, (4) mengecek kembali prosedur dan hasil penyelesaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Langkah Polya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita sistem persamaan linear dua variabel di kelas VIII B1 SMP Negeri 14 Palu.Kata kunci: Langkah Polya, hasil belajar, soal cerita sistem persamaan linear dua variabel.

Abstract

Abstract:This study background due to the persitence of low moral intelligence in children. Moral Intelligence has an important role in determining one’s behavior. A good moral intelligence will have a positive impact on the development of children’s sel-regulation. Without being supported by an self regulation, then the children will encounter difficulties in achieving something to its full potential and they will a find it difficult to de succed.The aim of this research is to know determine the corellation of moral intelligence to the self-regulation of children in kindergarten WHY at Tampan District of Pekanbaru. The population of this research is kindergarten’ s teachers at Tampan District of Pekanbaru that consists of 80 children, the samples of this research are 80 childrens which taken by using saturated sampling tecnique. Method of this research is Pearson Product Moment correlation to know the corellation between moral variables with self-regulation of children. In this researh data technique used by uising chek list. The technique of analyzing data used scale test and statistic analytical by using SPSS program for Windows Ver.7. Based on hypothesis there is any significant positive corellation between moral intelligence with self-regulation of children in kindergarten WHY at Tampan District of Pekanbaru. It could be seen from the result of correlation coefficient that  0,788 and significant level is 0,00<0,05. The level of correlation between moral variables with self-regulation of children.is in the middle category with the rank of determinant coefficient in the amount 62%, it means the moral intilligence principalaffect self regulation much 62%  Keywords: moral intelligence,self regulation

Abstract

Hormonal disturbances in the use of estrogen and progesterone synthesis hormone will occur imbalance hormone estrogen and progesterone in the body that will trigger the occurrence of disorders of the blood vessels and vascular conditions that are manifested by the increase in blood pressure. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between the use of hormonal contraception with hypertension. This type of research is an observational analytic research using cross sectional approach. The research has been carried out in the Working Area of ​​Puskesmas Sangurara Palu City from June to September 2017. The population in this study are all family planning acceptors of Hormonal Family Health Center in Puskesmas Sangurara Kota Palu with population 26,608 people from January until August 2017 with sample size 99 people . Sampling of this research data using slovin formula. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling technique. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using Chi Square with α 0,05. Based on statistical test, there was no relation between hormonal contraceptive use and hypertension incidence. The conclusion is that there is no relation between the use of hormonal contraceptive devices and the incidence of hypertension, so it is recommended that every hormonal contraceptive acceptor should be monitored for routine side effects Keywords: Hormonal contraception, hypertension occurrence

Abstract

During pregnancy, pregnant women experience physical and psychological changes that can lead to discomfort. One of pregnancy care in the third trimester is yoga exercise. This study was to determine the effectiveness of prenatal yoga in reducing physical discomfort in the third trimester of pregnancy. This was a Quasi-Experimental study with Non-Equivalent Control Group approach. The sample of this study were 32 pregnant women of the third trimester consisting of 16 people as intervention group and 16 people as control taken by consecutive sampling technique. Univariate analysis was performed frequency distribution, Wilcoxon test, and Mann Whitney test. The result showed that the mean difference between pre-test and post-test of the control group was -0.25; (p=0.417&gt;α=0.05). The difference of mean value between pre-test and post-test of the intervention group was 3.5; (p=0,000 &lt;α=0.05). The difference of the mean value of physical discomfort in control and intervention group was 3.75; (p=0.000&lt;α=0,05), it means that there was a significant difference of the mean value of physical discomfort of respondent between control and intervention group. It can be concluded that prenatal yoga has effective to reduce the physical discomfort of a pregnant mother in the third trimester. This study suggests prenatal yoga program could implement in midwifery care especially in the class of pregnant women in Public health center routinely so that the discomfort of pregnant women during pregnancy can be overcome.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women is called a potential that endangers the mother and child, therefore anemia requires serious attention from parties involved in health services. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship of age and consumption of iron-containing foods with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in Talise Palu Health Center in 2017. The type of research is descriptive comparative using a cross sectional approach. The population of all pregnant women in the Talise Health Center area. The sample in this study amounted to 55 respondents with the sampling technique using consecutive sampling technique. The data collection is done through direct interviews and direct Hb measurements. Data analysis using univariate frequency distribution and bivariate analysis with Fisher's Exact Test. The results of the study of 55 respondents there were 96.4% of pregnant women who had anemia, with the age of pregnant women not at risk of 85.5% and pregnant women who rarely consumed foods containing iron there were 78.2%. The results of statistical tests using Fisher's Exact Test showed that there was a relationship between consumption of iron-containing foods (p = 0.04) with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at Talise Palu Health Center in 2017 and no age relationship (p = 0.728) with anemia in pregnant women . Conclusion that age has no relationship with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Consumption of iron-containing foods is associated with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Suggestions for midwives who work at the KIA-KB Poli to continue to provide services according to operational standards during pregnancy examinations so that anemia in pregnant women can be treated and even prevented during pregnancy.Keywords: Pregnant, Anemia, consumption of foods containing iron

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is the most appropriate food for babies aged 0-6 months for brain development and infant intelligence as well as to improve the baby's immune system or immunity from disease attacks. The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by many factors, one of which is the very limited number of ASI counselors. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship of breastfeeding counseling with mother's attitude in exclusive breastfeeding in Tawaeli Health Center work area. This research includes descriptive correlation type with cross sectional approach. The design of this study was used to analyze the correlative relationship between breastfeeding counseling and the mother's attitude in exclusive breastfeeding. The location of this research is the work area of Puskesmas Taweli in Palu City and implemented on July to August 2015. The sample of this research is all mothers who have babies aged 0-6 months in work area of Puskesmas Taweli in Palu City. Sampling was done by using consecutive sampling, with total sample of 73 people. The results showed no significant relationship between breastfeeding counseling and mother's attitude in exclusive breastfeeding in Tawaeli Health Center Working Area. This can be proved by statistical analysis with X2value <X2table (0,292 <92,808) at 95% CI and ρ-value = 0,589> α (0,05). Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that there is no relationship of breastfeeding counseling with mother attitude about exclusive breast feeding in Tawaeli Public Health Working Area.Keywords: 0-6 months old baby, Mother’s attitude, Counseling
