Exclusive breastfeeding is the most appropriate food for babies aged 0-6 months for brain development and infant intelligence as well as to improve the baby's immune system or immunity from disease attacks. The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by many factors, one of which is the very limited number of ASI counselors. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship of breastfeeding counseling with mother's attitude in exclusive breastfeeding in Tawaeli Health Center work area. This research includes descriptive correlation type with cross sectional approach. The design of this study was used to analyze the correlative relationship between breastfeeding counseling and the mother's attitude in exclusive breastfeeding. The location of this research is the work area of Puskesmas Taweli in Palu City and implemented on July to August 2015. The sample of this research is all mothers who have babies aged 0-6 months in work area of Puskesmas Taweli in Palu City. Sampling was done by using consecutive sampling, with total sample of 73 people. The results showed no significant relationship between breastfeeding counseling and mother's attitude in exclusive breastfeeding in Tawaeli Health Center Working Area. This can be proved by statistical analysis with X2value <X2table (0,292 <92,808) at 95% CI and ρ-value = 0,589> α (0,05). Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that there is no relationship of breastfeeding counseling with mother attitude about exclusive breast feeding in Tawaeli Public Health Working Area.Keywords: 0-6 months old baby, Mother’s attitude, Counseling

Fibroadenoma is the most benign breast neoplasm. These tumors grow in young women with the highest frequency in young women 21-25 years, with a prevalence of more than 9% of the female population affected by fibroadenoma. Breast cancer still has a high likelihood of being cured when it comes early or early. Early detection of breast cancer is an examination program to recognize breast cancer while still small, and before the cancer has a chance to spread. One of the early detection efforts is clinical breast examination (SADANIS) which is carried out at least once every 3 years or if abnormalities are found in the process of self breast examination (BSE) and carried out by trained health workers. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and early detection of breast cancer risk in young women through SADANIS examination. Observational research method with cross sectional approach. The sample is a student of SMK 1 Palu and a student of AKBID Cendrawasih Palu. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge about SADANIS examination and the practice of SADANIS examination in young women. In line with the Wantini and Indrayani (2018) study that there is a meaningful relationship between knowledge with early detection of breast cancer through SADANIS examination based ontest Fisher Exact's with a p-value of 0.012<α (0.05), so there is a strong relationship between young women's knowledge BSE in early detection of breast cancer as evidenced by the p-value 0.007<α (0.05). PERANAN EDUKASI BIDAN DALAM MENCEGAH KURANG ENERGI KRONIS (KEK) PADA IBU HAMIL DI PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGAH Tempali, Sri Restu; Sumiaty, Sumiaty

Basic Health Research in 2013 recorded the prevalence of SEZ in pregnant women nationally reaching 24.2 percent, an increase from 2010 (18.8 %%) and 2007 (10.9%). The prevalence of SEZs in Central Sulawesi Province in 2013 was 32.6%, higher than the National average. Nutritional status monitoring in Central Sulawesi Province reported a prevalence of KEK Risk in pregnant women in 2015 of 32.6%. Districts with the highest prevalence were consecutively in Banggai Kepulauan District (67.8%), Tojo Una-Una District (51.9%), Sigi District (46.4%), Donggala District (36.7%), and Palu City (35.4%). Midwives in providing services to the community, especially pregnant women, always strive to prepare pregnant women since the first contact during prenatal care provides counseling or education to every pregnant mother about nutritional needs during pregnancy. This study aims to determine the role of midwives education in preventing Chronic Energy Deficiency (SEZ) in pregnant women in Central Sulawesi Province. Observational research with astudy design crosectional. Sampling using the proportional random sampling technique with a total sample of 98 midwives in the working area of 4 selected districts, namely Banggai Islands District (15 samples), Sigi District (18 samples), Donggala District (25 samples) and Palu City (40 samples). The results of the study showed that the midwives who carried out the role of education to pregnant women in their regions mostly did not have the incidence of pregnant women with SEZ (83.1%). The results of theanalysis Chi-Square obtained a p-Value value of 0.041, which means that there is a relationship between the role of midwife education and prevention of SEZ events in pregnant

Pencegahan kanker leher rahim dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan screening melalui pemeriksaan Inspeksi Visual Asam Asetat (IVA). Namun, pemeriksaan IVA di Puskesmas Tipo tahun 2017 masih rendah, yaitu hanya 72 jiwa dari 1.513 jiwa Pasangan Usia Subur (PUS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan dukungan suami terhadap keikutsertaan pasangan usia subur untuk screening kanker leher rahim. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Cross Sectional dengan populasi semua PUS umur 15-49 tahun yang datang berkunjungan ke wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tipo. Adapun sampel sebanyak 54 responden dengan teknik Purposive sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan uji Fisherâ€™s exact. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan (p=0,202) dan keikutsertaan PUS pada Screening kanker leher rahim. Sedangkan, hasil yang lain menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan suami (p=0,023) dengan keikutsertaan PUS pada Screening kanker leher rahim. Kesimpulan, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan suami dengan keikutsertaan PUS pada Screening kanker leher rahim di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tipo. Bidan diharapkan dapat melibatkan suami dalam sosialisasi pentingnya pemeriksaan IVA kepada PUS.

Banjir bandang yang disertai material lumpur, batu dan kayu menerjang desa Rogo. Puluhan rumah warga tertimbun lumpur setinggi 1-2meter dan tidak layak huni. Dampak yang ditimbulkan seperti kekurangan makanan, air bersih serta kebutuhan dasar lainnya. Peran modal sosial dibutuhkan dalam upaya pemulihan pasca bencana banjir bandang. Upaya melibatkan masyarakat dengan donasi atau bantuan kemanusiaan. Oleh karena jumlah korban banjir bandang cukup besar dan kebutuhan korban banjir bandang yang mendesak maka melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan bantuan kemanusiaan civitas akademika Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu untuk Korban Banjir Bandang Rogo, Kabupaten Sigi provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Kegiatan penggalangan donasi dilakukan setelah informasi dari media sosial tentang kejadian banjir bandang di Desa Rogo. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan penyaluran sembako (Beras, minyak goreng, gula pasir, teh) nasi kuning, buah pisang, sayur-sayuran, Biskuit balita dan ibu hamil, popok, ember dan gayung. Kegiatan penggalangan donasi dan penyalurannya dilaksanakan pada tanggal 05-07 September 2021. Masyarakat Rogo yang terdampak banjir bandang menerima dengan baik bantuan yang diberikan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar.

The flash flood disaster hit Galumpang Village, Aung Village and Bajungan Village in Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi on Wednesday morning 23 March 2022. Due to the large number of victims of flash floods and the urgent needs of victims of flash floods, the Civitas Academic of Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu provided humanitarian aid for victims of flash floods in Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi. Humanitarian assistance in the form of ready-to-eat food, rice, Toothpaste, Soap, Sunlight, Shampoo, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Tea, Sugar, Bucket, Dipper, Mask and Pampers Children under two. The assistance was handed over by the Chief Community Service Officer to the Head of Galumpang Village on April 1, 2022 at the Disaster Management Command Post in Galumpang Village, Dakopamean District, Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi. The flash flood victim’s community as beneficiaries have received assistance from the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu Academic Community through Community Service activities. ABSTRAK Bencana banjir bandang telah menghantam Desa Galumpang, Desa Aung dan Desa Bajungan di Kabupaten Tolitoli, Sulawesi Tengah pada Rabu dini hari tanggal 23 Maret 2022. Oleh karena besarnya jumlah korban banjir bandang dan kebutuhan korban banjir bandang yang mendesak, maka Civitas Akademika Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan korban banjir bandang di Kabupaten Tolitoli Sulawesi Tengah. Bantuan kemanusian berupa makanan siap saji, beras, Pasta Gigi, Sabun, Sunlight, Shampoo, Susu Kental Manis, Teh, Gula Pasir, Ember, Gayung, masker dan Pampers Baduta. Bantuan diserahkan oleh Ketua Pelaksana Pengabdian Masyarakat kepada Kepala Desa Galumpang pada tanggal 01 April 2022 di Posko Induk Penanggulangan Bencana Desa Galumpang Kecamatan Dakopamean Kabupaten Tolitoli, Sulawesi Tengah. Masyarakat korban banjir bandang sebagai penerima manfaat telah menerima bantuan dari Civitas Akademika Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat.
