Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the results of the needs analysis of the development e-book of an android-based landslide mitigationThis type of research is RnD research with the ADDIE model on a needs test with one stage, namely the analysis of material aspects, presentation, language, and personality. Based on the study of the needs test for developing e-books, it is known that SLB students and teachers in Klaten Regency need the development e-book of an android-based landslide mitigation teacher respondents answered that it needs to be developed. Developing e-books tailored to the needs of elementary school children with disabilities by aspects of the material, presentation, language, and graphics to make it easier for teachers to deliver learning materials. Abstract

The Klaten Regency area is included as a disaster-prone area. One of the disasters that often hit this district are landslides. This increases the risk that human safety is threatened, especially for people with disabilities. This condition will get worse if they do not have education about disaster mitigation. This study aims to develop an Android-based landslide disaster mitigation medium for elementary school disabilities. This media uses three types of software: Kodular to create Android applications, Blender to create 3D animations, construct to make games, and FlipPDF to create e-books. This study used the Research and Development (RD), research method in conjunction with a waterfall process development model. To get the feasibility results, this medium was tested on experts and users, the first being tested on two media experts, with a percentage result of 88.8%, so that it was declared very feasible. The second was tested on two e-book material experts with a percentage of 98.5%, so it was declared very feasible. The third was tested on two video material experts with a percentage of 98.94%, so it was declared very feasible. The fourth was tested on users and got a percentage result of 78.4%, so it was stated that this medium was appropriate.

Abstract

Earthquakes are frequent disasters in Indonesia. This disaster often causes many fatalities, so reducing the risk of an earthquake is necessary. Disaster risk reduction can be carried out with government programs, namely disaster risk reduction education which aims to reduce the threat of victims due to disasters. However, in implementing this program, there are deficiencies in media accessibility and learning media for elementary school children with disabilities. The purpose of this study was to describe the results of the needs analysis for the development of earthquake disaster mitigation animation videos. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data from this study were obtained from filling out a needs analysis questionnaire by 161 students and 121 teachers from 13 special schools in Klaten Regency, data analysis using interactive analysis. Based on the results of filling out the questionnaire to analyze the needs of students and teachers, it is known that students and teachers of SLB throughout Klaten Regency need an animated video on earthquake disaster mitigation to become one of the learning media. Students agree as much as 97.70%, and teachers agree as much as 99.20% to develop an animated earthquake disaster mitigation video. The development of earthquake disaster mitigation animation videos must follow the needs of students and teachers regarding material, language, presentation, and graphics.
