Abstract

Background: With limited space to work WFH during the pandemic, it is the biggest challenge faced by all employees and companies.  In the midst of many companies holding a hiring freeze policy  or temporarily suspending the recruitment of new employees, ruangguru even did the opposite, RuangGuru held a routine recruitment of new employees during the pandemic. Aim: This study aims to analyze and explain the effect of work stress and work motivation on turnover intention mediated by organizational commitment of employees of FEC PT.  Ruang Raya Indonesia Sumapapua I Makassar, Pare-Pare, Palopo. Method: This type of research is an explanatory research that explains the causal relationship between the variables used through hypothesis testing. The sampling method in this study uses the saturated sampling method. The population determined in this study was 108 people, namely all employees of FEC Sumapapua I covering the Makassar, Pare-Pare, Palopo areas. The data obtained from the sample were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, with the SMARTPLS 3.0 approach. Findings: The results showed that work stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, work motivation has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, work stress has a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment turnover intention, organizational commitment does not mediate the effect of work stress on turnover intention, organizational commitment mediates the influence of work motivation on turnover intention.

Abstract

Background: A company's sustainability lies in managing its human resources. Human resources are one of the critical elements for the achievement of company goals. The company's success or failure depends on employees' job satisfaction (Individually) which affects the overall job satisfaction of the organization. Aim: This study is about the effect of organizational support and supervisor support against turnover intention mediated by affective commitment. Method: This research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The research site is the Lima Puluh Kota County Fire Service. The population in this study, namely freelance daily employees (PHL) in the Lima Puluh Kota District Fire Service, has 100 employees in  Lima Puluh Kota District of 2022. Research sampling techniques that use saturated sampling. The primary data in this study were respondents' answers through the distribution of questionnaires. While the secondary data is obtained from the object. The analysis techniques were descriptive analysis, PLS analysis, and structural model analysis before finally going through hypothesis testing and mediation Findings: The results showed a significant negative influence between supervisor support for turnover intention and affective commitment mediation, meaning that the higher the supervisor's support, the higher the affective commitment, and will indirectly reduce the occurrence of employee turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the strategy of developing social entrepreneurship with the Social Impact Canvas method on Sahawood. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection method was done by using observation and interviews with four informants who were directly involved in the Sahawood business process. The Social Impact Canvas provides an overview of business development strategies contained in the components of anchor purpose; value prepositions; stakeholders; stakeholders relationship; channel; key activities; key resources; key partners; revenue streams; magnitude; costs; differentiation. The findings in this study indicate that the social value of Sahawood creates a strong brand story and becomes a strength in attracting consumers. As a social entrepreneurship, Sahawood was able to become a place for former addicts to change for the better and control the beneficiaries from using drugs again and committing criminal acts. Social Impact Canvas is not only describing business implementation but also highlighting social values and business uniqueness in social entrepreneurship. This study has implications for the development of Sahawood’s future business strategy.

Abstract

Companies must consider many factors in an effort to improve employee performance which includes salary, organizational culture, leadership, work discipline, job satisfaction, work motivation, and work environment. The objective of this research is to identify the effects of work motivation and workplace environtment on the performance of employees of PT. World Innovative Telecommunication (OPPO) Malang. This quantitative research uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression performed in IBM SPSS. The independent variable is work motivation (X1) and workplace environtment (X2), while the dependent variable is employee performance (Y). the results of the hypothesis testing indicate that work motivation and workplace environtment simultaneously affect employee performance, that work motivation partially has a significant and positive influence on employee performance, and that workplace environtment partially has a significant and positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that had occurred from 2020 to 2022 in Indonesia adversely affected multiple sectors of industry; one of which is tourism and hotel. Savana, a hotel in Malang city that was also affected by the outbreak, responded to the unwanted condition by temporarily laying off some of their employees. This policy, however, is considered as a threat for job security, and it affects employees’ organizational commitment and work motivation, leading to lower performance. The goal of this study is to measure the influence of organizational commitment and work motivation on employee performance. The sample of this quantitative explanatory research is 75 employees of the hotel that was affected by the temporary layoff. The data was acquired from questionnaires, that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the analysis suggest that organizational commitment and work motivation simultaneously have a significant impact on performance by 14.6% with the F statistics of 7.317 > the T table of 3.12 and the coefficient of determination of 0.146 at the significance level of 0.001. further, organizational commitment has no significant effect on employee performance with the t statistics of 1.291 < t table of 1.993 at sig. of 0.201, while work motivation significantly influences employee performance at the t statistics of 2,847 > t table of 1,993 at sig. of 0.006.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of depression and organizational commitment on teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City. This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Sampling in this study used a saturated sample technique, namely 79 teacher respondents at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City, the data collection method used was a questionnaire, while the data analysis used in this study was carried out by testing validity, reliability testing, testing the coefficient of determination, classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing which consists of F test and t test using SPSS 24. The results showed that the influencer was positive and significant on teacher performance. This means that the existence of triggers causes an increase in teacher performance in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City. Second, Organizational Commitment has a direct positive effect on teacher performance. This means that with an increase in organizational commitment to each teacher, it results in an increase in teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City. Based on the results of this study, it can be interpreted that there is a positive and significant influence of compensation and organizational commitment on teacher performance in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of job stress and cyberloafing industry on the performance of Kawi Branch Office of Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Malang. This explanatory research explains the relationship between variables. Using saturated sampling, 82 members of the population were selected as the sample. The data was harvested from Likert-scaled questionnaires and was analyzed using multiple linear regression and descriptive statistics analysis in IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. This study finds that (1) job stress and cyberloafing influence employee performance, (2) job stress affects employee performance, and (3) cyberloafing behavior influences employee performance. Therefore, this research suggests organizations to consider the balance between work load and time limit for employees and to make regulations regarding the use of computer and internet belonging to the organizations in order to enhance employee performance.

Abstract

Kalome is a micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise in Malang that sells aromatic candle. This product started to be high in demand in the beginning of 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic as it helps people sleep well and remove stress. However, its sales in Malang are lower than other major cities such as Yogyakarta. In order to achieve high purchase decision, goods must be reliable and good in quality, priced according to its usefulness and quality, promoted in the correct method. The objective of this research is to identify the influence magnitude of goods quality, price, and promotion on purchase decision, the influence magnitude of goods quality on the purchase decision, the influence magnitude of price on the purchase decision, and the influence magnitude of promotion on the purchase decision. The sample of this quantitative descriptive research is 65 consumers of Kalome therapeutical aromatic candle in Malang area, selected using purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. This research finds that goods quality, price, and promotion simultaneously have significant impact on the purchase decision. Partially, goods quality significantly influences the purchase decision, and price significantly affects the purchase decision, while promotion has no significant influence on the purchase decision.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effects of work intention and organizational experience on the work readiness of the active students of Universitas Brawijaya Malang. The data of this quantitative explanatory research was harvested from questionnaires. Using simple random sampling technique, 100 people were selected as the respondents. This research uses multiple linear regression in SPSS version 25 to analyze the influence of the independent variables, i.e., work intention (X1) and organizational experience (X2), on the dependent variable, i.e., work readiness (Y). based on the results of the analysis and hypothesis testing, this study finds that work intention (X1) and organizational experience (X2) simultaneously have significant and positive effects on the work readiness of the active students of Universitas Brawijaya Malang.
