Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of human resource planning strategy and competence simultaneously on improving employee performance. This research was conducted at PT. ASOKA ARIANS PROPERTY - MEDANThe number of samples in this study were 36 employees. In this study the independent variables are human resource planning strategies (X1) and competence (X2). In this study the dependent variable is employee performance. Data analysis was performed by multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the HR planning strategy and competence had a significant effect on employee performance with a level of influence of 70.30%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of education on organizational culture, the effect of length of service on organizational culture, the effect of education on employee performance, the effect of length of service on employee performance, the influence of organizational culture on employee performance, the indirect effect of education on employee performance through organizational culture and the indirect effect of length of service on employee performance through organizational culture at the Office of the Board of Directors of PT. Plantation III Medan. The population in this study were all employees of the Office of the Board of Directors of PT. Plantation III Medan totaling 75 people. Based on the Slovin formula, a sample of 43 people was obtained where the sampling technique used simple random sampling. The variables used in this study are independent variables and dependent variables. In this study the independent variables were education (X1) and length of work (X2). The dependent variable is employee performance (Y), while the intervening variable is organizational culture (Z). Data analysis used multiple linear regression test and path analysis. The results showed that education and length of work had a significant effect on organizational culture. Education and length of work have a significant effect on employee performance, while organizational culture has no significant effect on employee performance. Education has a significant effect on employee performance through organizational culture. Length of work has no significant effect on employee performance through organizational culture at the Office of the Board of Directors of PT.

Abstract

This study to examine the effect of workload on job satisfaction, workstress on job satisfaction, examine the effect of workload and work stress on job satisfaction, workload on employee performance, work stress on employee performance, job satisfaction on employee performance, workload and work stress on employee performance through job satisfaction in Rubber Plantation Serdang II District, PTPN III. The sample in this study are 82 people. The analytical method used in this research using multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the direct influence test shows that workload has a negative effect on job satisfaction, work stress has a negative effect on job satisfaction, workload and work stress have an influence on job satisfaction, workload has a negative effect on employee performance, work stress has a negative effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance and the effect of workload, job stress and job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance. The indirect effect that occurs in this study is that job satisfaction is only able to become a pseudo-mediator on employee performance.

Abstract

Kentang merupakan komoditas yang berperan penting bagi masyarakat karena berperan sebagai pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan dan juga gizi masyarakat. Salah satu propinsi penghasil kentang di provinsi Sumatera Utara adalah Kabupaten Karo sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi kentang, menganalisis layak atau tidaknya usaha tani kentang, dan mengetahui saluran pemasaran kentang di desa Sempajaya, Kecamatan Berastagi Kabupaten Karo. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penentuan sampel petani kentang adalah Stratified Random Sampling, yaitu strata luas lahan kecil (£ 0,5 ha) dan strata luas lahan besar (> 0,5 ha). Metode penentuan sampel pedagang kentang yang digunakan adalah snowball sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 8 (delapan) orang. Metode analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan regresi non linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara simultan luas lahan, curahan tenaga kerja, dan biaya sarana produksi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi usaha tani kentang. Secara parsial biaya sarana produksi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani kentang. Pada daerah penelitian layak diperolehnya nilai R/C rasio sebesar 2,14 > 1, BEP produksi sebesar 6.082,14 kg < rata-rata produksi petani sampel sebesar 7.930 kg, dan BEP harga sebesar Rp 2.583,73/kg < rata-rata harga jual kentang sebesar Rp 5.500,-/kg. Selanjutnya, terdapat tiga saluran pemasaran kentang di daerah penelitian. Saluran pertama yaitu petani, pedagang besar, pedagang pengecer, konsumen di Medan. Saluran kedua yaitu petani, pedagang pengecer, konsumen di Medan. Saluran ketiga yaitu petani, pedagang pengumpul, pedagang pengecer di Berastagi.

Abstract

For human resource management, making improvements to human resources is one of the essential factors to be able to improve and optimize company performance. This increase can then be carried out through the implementation of training, including during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research will then try to see how the performance of human resources can be improved through the implementation of training during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research will be carried out using a qualitative approach as the research method. The results of this study found that the implementation of training was crucial for improving human resources’ performance even though there was a pandemic. In order to reduce the risk of a pandemic, it is necessary to change the training method for improving the performance of appropriate human resources, so that finally the training can carry out its role correctly in enhancing the performance of human resources, and protocols are still followed so that there is no spread of the Covid-19 virus in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of compensation and leadership style on work motivation and employee performance at PT Adhi Guna Putera. Where the samples were taken in this study were 103 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The data is tested using validity and reliability tests, and the data must meet the elements of the classical assumption test requirements. Test the data analysis using Path Analysis. This study concludes that there is a direct positive and significant effect of compensation and leadership style on employee motivation and employee performance. However, research shows that compensation and leadership style have an indirect and insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze whether motivation and work discipline through organizational culture affects performance. The population in this study were all employees of the North Sumatra Provincial Manpower Office. The sample in this study amounted to 86 employees of the North Sumatra Province Manpower Office. Data analysis techniques in this study used two statistical approaches, namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) models. Data collection techniques in this study used observations, questionnaires, and literature studies. The results of this study showed that: (1) Motivation positive and significant effect on organizational culture (2) Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on organizational culture, (3) Motivation has no significant effect on performance, (4) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on performance, (5) Organizational Culture has a positive and significant effect on performance. significant effect on performance, (6) Motivation through organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on performance, and (7) Work Discipline through organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on performance. Based on the overall results of the study, it can be concluded that Motivation and Work Discipline have implications for Kine work through Organizational Culture

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the study titled The Role of the Quality of Student Trust in Mediating the Quality of Student Services and the University's Reputation on Electronic Word of Mouth among students. This study's sample was chosen utilizing a multi-stage sampling technique, beginning with the selection of private institutions using purposive sampling and ending with the selection of students using incidental sampling. In this survey, there were 255 students who represented five private universities in percentage. Descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling were employed in the data analysis (SEM). The study's findings revealed that service quality has a positive and significant effect on electronic word of mouth, university reputation has a positive and significant effect on electronic word of mouth, student trust has a positive but not significant effect on electronic word of mouth, student trust can mediate between service quality and electronic word of mouth, and student trust can moderate the influence of university reputation on electronic word of mouth.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of leadership style and career development on employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan. The data analysis method used in this study is a statistical analysis method using multiple linear regression equations. The research population is 45 employees who work in CV Setia Kawan. So the number of samples is the same as the population of 45 employees. Researchers tested the classical assumptions first before doing regression testing. The results showed that the calculated F value (8.907) was greater than the F table value (3.214), and sig.α (0.000a) was smaller than 5% alpha (0.05), so that leadership style and career development had a simultaneous effect. on employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan. Leadership style has an effect on employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan. Career development affects employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan. The influence of leadership style and career development on employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan is 80.2% while 19.8% is explained by other variables not included in this research model such as training, job stress and motivation.
