Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat media artikel pendidikan dengan informasi dari hasil penelitian isolasi bakteri resistensi merkuri di daerah bekas PETI Kulor, Singkawang Timur pada sub materi pencemaran lingkungan kelas X SMA. Artikel pendidikan disusun secara sistematis dengan format yang terdiri dari standar kompetensi, kompetensi dasar, indikator pembelajaran, tujuan pembelajaran, judul, isi dan evaluasi instrumen lembar validasi media menggunakan empat aspek dan sebelas kriteria. Empat aspek penelitian meliputi format, isi, bahasa dan efektivitas. Instrumen lembar validasi media digunakan setelah dievaluasi kelayakannya oleh dua orang dosen dan dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian media artikel. Evaluasi artikel pendidikan dilakukan oleh satu orang dosen pendidikan biologi FKIP Untan, satu dosen biologi MIPA Untan dan 3 orang guru mitra. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa artikel pendidikan dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,22 sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.   Kata kunci: Bakteri, resistensi merkuri, artikel pendidikan.   Abstract: This research aimed to create education articles, using the information from the research of bacteria mercury resistance isolation in ex-gold mining area of Kulor, East Singkawang on sub material of the environment pollution at class X high school. Article was arranged systematically with a format consisting of standard of competence, basic competence, learning indicator, the purpose of learning, the title, the content and evaluation. An instrument of media validation was used after evaluated its feasibility by two lecturers and was stated valid to be used as instrument to evaluate the article . Article evaluation was carried out by one lecturer from biology education FKIP Untan, one lecturer from biology MIPA, and three teacher from school partner. The evaluation showed that articles was categorized valid  with the average of score 3,22 so that fit to use as a  learning medium.   Key words: Bacteria, mercury resistance, educational articles

Abstract

 AbstractThis research aims to know the video tutorials the feasibility for maked  nata de corn on material role of biotechnology in class XII senior high school. The form of research used is quantitative with descriptive methods. First is making of video tutorial and the second is validation of the media. Data collecting tool used is the question form validation of the worthiness of video tutorials. Validation of the feasibility of the media carried out by 6 people validator. Video tutorials are categorized invalid based on the results of validation by 3 people media expert of 3.57 and 3 people expert material amounted to 3.70. Abstract

AbstractIn the globalization era, the education and technology has a significant development.Conventional learning system felt less able to involved and improve studentmotivation. This research aims to produce flash-based biology learning media was aviable to use, and knowing student responses to flash-based biology learning media onthe sub material characteristic, structure, and virus replication. This research was thedevelopment research consisting of two stages: preliminary stage (preparation anddesign) and formative evaluation stage (self evaluation, expert reviews, small groupevaluation, and field test). The data collection instrument was a validationquestionnaire, and student responses questionnaire. Validation of flash-based biologylearning media was doing by 6 validator consist of 3 media experts, and 3 materialexperts. Learning media was have valid categorized on the result of the validation bymedia experts with 3,76 and material experts with 3,74. While student responses washave very positive with student responses percentage 88,47%. So the conclude wasflash-based biology learning media fit for use as a learning media. Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this study was to investigate students’ difficulty, level of learning difficulties and factors causing students’ learning difficulties in protist at SMAN 1 Kembayan. Descriptive study with case study approach was applied in this study. The sample of the study was 10thgrade students of SMAN 1 Kembayan academic year of 2016/2017. For collecting data, three instruments were utilized particularly diagnostic test, questionnaire, and interview. Diagnostic test was applied to identify students’ learning difficulty and to ascertain factors that influence students’ learning difficulty, questionnaire and interview were applied. The findings indicate that percentage of students’ difficulty in learning and understanding protist was 58% and it was categorized to be difficult especially on sub-material of chracteristics of animal-likeprotist (70.59%). Students’ learning difficulty was categorized into three levels that are light (level 1), moderate (level 2), and severe (level 3). The average percentage of each category was light (23.53%), moderate (64.71%) and severe (11.76%). Factors that influence students’ difficulty in learning and understanding protist encompass internal factor, specifically 66% and it was categorized to be moderate and external factor, distinctively 55.67% and it was categorized to be moderate as well.Keywords: Learning Difficulties, Diagnostic Test, Protist

Abstract

  AbstractThe research aimed at knowing the effect of cooperative learning with jigsaw and flashcard on student’s achievement in fungi material for grade X SMA Negeri 1 Sajad. The research was Quasi Experimental Design with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of the study was two classes of grade X where grade XA was as experimental group and grade XB was as control group, with a sampling technique of saturated sampling. The instrument used multiple questions consisting 20 questions. According to data analysis result, the average score of posttest in experimental group was 17,82 and in control group was 14,89. Based on U Mann Whitney test, Zcount<-Ztable (-4,01<-1,96) showing that there was significant difference between student’s achievement using cooperative learning with jigsaw and flashcard and student’s achievement using conventional learning. Effect size score was 2,23 which is high, and gave effect by 48,71%.  Keyword: Jigsaw with a  Flashcard, Achievement, Fungi Material

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi peranan virus di kelas X SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design.Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XA(kelas kontrol) yang berjumlah 31 siswa dan kelas XB (kelas eksperimen) yang berjumlah 32 siswa.Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan intact group.Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 butir. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil posttest siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 17,75, sedangkan skor rata-rata hasil posttest kelas kontrol adalah 15,64. Berdasarkan analisis uji U Mann Whitney menunjukan bahwa Zhitung ≤  Ztabel (-3,78 ≤ -1,96) disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan nilai Effect size diketahui Project Based Learning (PjBL) memberikan kontribusi sebesar 27,34% terhadap hasil belajar. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, Project Based Laerning (PjBL), peranan virus, efektivitas. Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Project Based Learning (PjBL) on students’ learning outcomes for sub material the role of viruses in class X of SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group. The sample was XA class (control class) which consists of 31 students and class XB (experimental class) which consists of 32 students, while the sampling wasintact group. The instrument used was a multiple choice test which consist of 20 items. From the analysis of the data, obtained an average score of posttest results of students in the experimental class which was 17.75, while the average score of posttest in control group was 15.64. Based on the analysis of U Mann Whitneytest showed that Zcount ≤ Ztable (-3.78 ≤ -1.96) that it can be concluded that there is a difference in students’ outcomes whom were taught by using Project Based Learning (PjBL) with those whom were taught by using conventional teaching. For effect size is 0,75, the category when effect size at convertation is medium. Based on the value of Effect size, it is known that Project Based Learning (PjBL) contributed 27.34% on the learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa  yang diajar dengan model Discovery Learning dan Inkuiri pada materi ekosistem di kelas X IPA MAN 1 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan Nonequivalent control group design. KelasIPA 3 (Discovery Learning) dan kelas X IPA 2 (Inkuiri) sebagai sampel,dengan teknik Intact Group sebagai pengambilan sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 butir. Berdasakan skor rata-rata hasil belajar dan persentase ketuntasan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model Inkuiri sebesar 17,11 dan 93,75% lebih tinggi dibandingkan menggunakan model Discovery Learning sebesar 13,34 dan 54,29% pada materi ekosistem di kelas X. Untuk melihat perbandingan hasil belajar siswa dapat ditunjukan dari hasil uji U Mann-Whitney dimana hasil perhitungan diperoleh Zhitung < Ztabel (-5,23 < -1,96), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model Inkuiridan model Discovery Learning. Kata kunci: Discovery Learning, Inkuiri, dan Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research aims to compare the student learning outcomes taught with the Discovery learning model and Inquiry in the lesson on ecosystem in the tenth grade of natural science class (IPA) MAN 1 Pontianak. The research used a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The IPA class 3 ( Discovery Learning) and IPA class 2 (Inquiry)  as a sample, with techniquesIntact Group as sampling. The instrument used was the multiple choice test with 20 items in total. The average score of learning outcomes and the percentage of students? mastery taught using the Inquiry model were 17,11 and 93,75% respectively, which were higher than using Discovery Learning model scoring 13,34 and 54,29% in the ecosystem material in the tenth grade class. The comparison between student learning outcomes can be seen from the results of the U Mann-Whitney test where Zcount<Ztable (-5,23 < -1,96), meaning that there were no significant differences between the learning outcomes of students taught using the Inquiry model and the Discovery Learning model.Keywords : Discovery Learning, Inquiry and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstrackEducation is essentially inseparable from the life of every human being. Education is done to improve the potential that exists within a person. Education is closely related to learning. One way that can be done by teachers in achieving learning objectives is to use the media learning. Stop motion animation is an audio visual media that can be used as a medium of learning. The stop motion animation created in this study contains the mushroom material from the inventory of macroscopic fungi in the protected forest of Mount Semahung. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of media animation stop motion on mushroom material. The form of this research was quantitative with descriptive method. The stop motion animation media is validated by 6 validators. 3 persons as media expert validator and 3 persons as material expert validator, consisting of 3 senior high school teachers, 1 media expert and 2 lecturers of Biology Education FKIP UNTAN. The result of the validation from the media expert was 3,63 (valid) and 3,67 (valid) from the material expert. It shows that the stop motion animation media of this research can be implemented as a teaching media. Keyword: Media Feasibility, Stop Motion Animation, Mushroom Material

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of flashcard-assisted flash driven scramble model on student learning outcomes on classification material of VII class of SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya. This form of research is true experimental design with posttest-only control design. The research sample is class VII H as experimental class and VII G as control class, with intact group sampling technique. Instruments used multiple choice test amounted to 20 questions. The average of the students' learning outcomes in the experimental class is 17.33, while in the control class is 16.1. The result of t test analysis obtained tcount> ttable is 37.235 > 9.210, meaning there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who were taught using flashcard-assisted flash driven scramble model with those taught using conventional learning model. The effect size is 0.97 with high category, giving 33.40% influence.Keywords: Scramble model, Flashcard, learning outcomes, material        classification of living creatures

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effect of CORE learning model with Mind Mapping on student learning outcomes at the Protists material in class X SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa. This research forms are Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This sample consist of two classes of grade X Science 1 as an experimental class and X Science 2 as the control class. Based on the result of the data analysis, the average score of student learning outcomes are taught using the CORE learning model accompanied Mind Mapping at 16.06 while those taught using conventional learning at 13.47. After U Mann-Whitney test of level α = 5% obtained Zcount < -Ztable (-4.05 < 1.96), there are significant differences between the learning outcomes are taught using CORE learning model accompanied Mind Mapping by using conventional learning models. Price of effect size obtained relatively high at 1.06 means CORE learning model accompanied Mind Mapping accounted at 35.54%. This explain the CORE learning model accompanied Mind Mapping have effect on student learning outcomes at the Protists material.  Keywords : CORE learning model, Mind Mapping, Protists, learning outcomesÂ
