Abstract

This case study investigates the influence of motivation and language learning environment on successful English as a foreign language (EFL) learning. The research examines: (1) the nature of the motivation of successful EFL learners; and (2) how language learning environment affects theirsucess.The data were obtained from six EFL learners identified as successful learners based on their high-level English language proficiency and in their overall success of the language use. EFL motivation is conceptualized and illustrated as a dynamically changing construct that plays important roles in the EFL learning process. The design of the study involves both holistic and focused analysis. Each participant’s learning history is created through individual interviews. The research traces each participant’s learning history, including motivational changes and salient motivational sources, such as their learning environments. The results showed that sustained motivation is not always present in successful EFL learning.Thesix learners’ successesresult from their ability to sustain their learning commitment. The research also reveals that a supportive parental family environment affects their success in the EFL learning. It is not only a feature found in the participants’ birth families and it also presents in the new families they gained after marriage. The findings provide important knowledge to language learners, language educators, and policy-makers about the critical role of motivation and commitment in EFL, in particular, in contexts where the majority of learners fail to attain high-level of language proficiency despite many years of informal or formal language study.

Abstract

Students become very vulnerable groups dragged down by the flow of religious radicalism. The age is still very young and still unstable with a burning spirit, and longing to practice religion more kāffah (comprehensive) making young groups including Muslim students in high school will be the most vulnerable social groups infiltrated and targeted by radical groups preach religious understanding and attitudes that are rigid and tend to be superficial. On the other hand, religious liberalism at the same time has also begun to infiltrate some young people, including Muslim students in high school. So it is necessary, a strategy to instill moderate Islamic values into students by utilizing the teaching and learning activities of Islamic Education in the classroom. This is because the main actors who are perpetrators of violence, anarchistic actions in religious conflict with religious backgrounds are groups affiliated to Islam. So that inevitably, Islamic Education has moral and social responsibility to help find a way out.

Abstract

Research is executed with Actions Observational method braze (PTK). This research is executed at MTs Mulya's Opus with the subject of research student brazes VII by a total of 22 students, 1 teacher and Headmaster. Acquired Data source of that student covers, formative student essay in work problem that is given at the early cycle. Observation sheet result to measure the result step-up studies student with implemented a model of Information proceedings. Observation result and field note that gets bearing with student activity's learning on al Qur 'an happens. Observational result and the analysis concludes that deep upgrade in observational learning. 1). Proceedingses implement models models suit to arouse student information point and student studying with information yen proceedings concept has a mission to help the student to concentrate at one particular domain the which they can gain control. Observation / control, helping student develops conceptual grasp about a particular domain. 2). Learned yielding step-up student of each cycle, the which is on essays average value interest quiz 69 on 1. cycle is average value of 68.4 and on cycle IV. average value is 76.77. 3. Interference in implementation is as follows: 1) student were given by the task extant a portion out of focus little deep and serious solve that task, 2) reducings the late UNDERSTATING of material already being taught by the teacher were the caused by reducing it concentrate while word teacher.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan passing bawah siswa  kelas V SD Negeri Labengga dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran reciprocal. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Labengga, yang berjumlah 10 orang siswa dengan rincian 5 orang siswa perempuan dan 5 orang siswa laki-laki. Adapun hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah ketuntasan siswa pada observasi awal sebesar 20% yang tuntas sehingga dilakukan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran reciprocal sehingga pada siklus I telah mengalami peningkatan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 60% namun hal tersebut belum memuaskan dan belum sesuai dengan nilai ketuntasan secara klasikal yaitu 80%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dari siklus I dan disempurnakan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 100%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada siklus II telah sesuai dengan standar ketuntasan yaitu sebesar 80% dengan ini tidak perlu lagi melakukan siklus berikutnya dan hipotesis tindakan yang diajukan dapat diterima jadi melalui pembelajaran dengan metode reciprocal l belajar passing sepak bola pada siswa kelas V B SD Negeri 1 Nalu Tolitoli.

Abstract

Kegiatan   ini   bertujuan   untuk   membantu   menyelesaikan   rendahnya produktvitas UKM pengrajin tas ?ENDXEN? dan tas ?SYAFA?AT? di Gresik. Permasalahan urgen yang harus  segera  diselesaikan  dalam  upaya  meningkatkan produktivitas kedua  UKM  pengrajin  tas  ini adalah perbaikan teknologi produksi melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna (TTG) berupa mesin jahit elektrik untuk menggantikan mesin jahit manual. Metode untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dilakukan melalui penerapan mesin jahit elektrik melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan maka dapat diketahui bahwa  pengusaha kecil pengrajin tas ini telah dapat meningkatkan produktivitas produksinya dan karyawan meningkat penghasilannya, yakni untuk jenis tas rangsel laptop dari 7 tas/hari menjadi 14 tas/hari sehingga ada peningkatan produksi 100% dan upah  untuk satu tas rangsel Rp.8.000 sehingga penghasilan karyawan meningkat dari Rp.56.000 menjadi Rp.112.000, dan untuk jenis tas sekolah dari 12 tas per hari menjadi 30 tas per hari, sehingga ada peningkatan produksi 150% dan upah untuk satu tas sekolah Rp.4.000 sehingga penghasilanya karyawan meningkat dari Rp.48.000 menjadi Rp.120.000.

Abstract

Abstract :Penelitian ini menelaah nilai moral dalam novel Kerlip Sang Bintang yang Hilang karya Anna Azlina. Karya sastra merupakan hasil cipta masyarakat atau sastrawan yang lahir dari fenomena yang ada dalam kehidupan masyarakat, sehingga dengan membaca dan memahami karya sastra berarti membaca dan memahami fenomena kehidupan. Berbagai fenomena kehidupan tersebut dituangkan dalam bentuk karya sastra sesuai konsep, pandangan, kemampuan, da kreativitas pengarang meramu realitas kehidupan ke dalam suatu bentuk karya imajinatif yang mampu memberi kenikmatan dan manfaat bagi kehidupan manusia. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: bagaimanakah nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Kerlip Sang Bintang Yang Hilang  karya Anna Azlina?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Kerlip Sang Bintang Yang Hilang  karya Anna Azlina. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskripstif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Kerlip Sang Bintang yang Hilang karya Anna Azlina. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca catat. Teknik analisis moral menggunakan pendekatan moral. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai moral dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri terdiri  atas; rasa takut, rasa rindu dan kewajiban terhadap diri sendiri. Nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkup sosial terdiri atas; menolong sesama, membantu yang lemah tanpa pamrih, cinta kasih sejati, dan saling menghargai. sedangkan nilai moral dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan terdiri atas; pasrah menurut kepada Tuhan dan bersyukur kepada Tuhan. Dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan yang luas dan memiliki sikap positif terhadap karya sastra secara umum dan novel secara khusus serta dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami lebih mendalam tentang nilai moral yang baik dan buruk. Kata kunci: nilai moral; novel; pendekatan moral

Abstract

Abstract : The aim to be achieved in this study is to improve the ability to write description text by using the Mind mapping method in students of class VII H Konawe Selatan 1 State Middle School. This study follows a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. This research was conducted in two cycles through the steps of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class VII H Konawe Selatan 1 State Middle School. The object of this research is the role of the Mind mapping method to improve the ability to write description text. Information  was collected by observation and test techniques. Information is analyzed by qualitative and quantitative methods. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of the Mind mapping method can improve the learning of writing text description skills of class VII H students of Konawe Selatan 1 State Middle School. This can be seen from the achievement of indicators of success both in terms of processes and results in this study. The average observation of teacher activities and student activities increases in the first cycle and second cycle. In terms of classical completeness results in the first cycle of 54.55% and in the second cycle the percentage of classical completeness was 86.36%.  Keywords: Ability, Mind Mapping method, writing description teks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan masalah realitas sosial pada enam cerpen dalam kumpulan cerpen Teriakan dalam Bungkam karya Rizqi Turama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber penelitian ini adalah enam cerpen dalam kumpulan cerpen Teriakan dalam Bungkam karya Rizqi Turama yang diterbitkan oleh Histeria tahun 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik baca catat. Data dalam penelitian di analisis mengunakan pendekatan sosiologi karya sastra. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dalam kumpulan cerpen Teriakan dalam Bungkam pada enam cerpen yaitu cerpen  Profesor bermulut runcing, Pisuh dan Makian Untuknya, Warung Bubur di Dekat Jembatan Layang, Kobal-kebul Televisi Kobel, Somat Memutuskan untuk Mati, dan Air Mata Seonggok Dasi terdapat realitas  sosial pada masalah disorganisasi keluarga, masalah kejahatan, masalah kependudukan, masalah generasi muda dalam masyarakat modern, masalah delinkuensi anak-anak, dan masalah politik.Kata Kunci: realitas, sosial, cerpen

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to describe and to find out the students' ability to identify the characteristics and structure of biographical texts in class X IIS of SMA 1 Napabalano. The type of research used in this study is classified into field research because researchers descend directly to the research location (school) to collect data in accordance with research problems. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative method that is research that provides a clear picture of the ability to identify the characteristics and structure of the biographical text of class X IIS SMA Negeri 1 Napabalano which then analyzed the results of the data using statistical principles in the form of numbers. Respondents in this study amounted to 49 people consisting of four IIS classes. The instrument used in this study was a written test. The results showed that there were 26 (75%) and students who were categorized as 23 (42.85%) students who were categorized as incapable. Classically the percentage of students' ability is categorized as incapable because it does not reach the minimum completeness criteria of 85%. Keywords: Identify, feature; structure; biographical text

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to describe the ability to write text summary reports on the observation results of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Loghia. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that out of 62 respondents, 58 were categorized as capable individually (93.55%), while those who were unable individually reached 4 respondents (6.45%). The ability to write text summary reports on the observation results of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Loghia is categorized as capable. That said, because classically the ability of students of SMP Negeri 1 Loghia reached 93.55%. Of the eleven aspects studied, classically the students were able to the comma aspect, namely reaching 61 respondents or 98.39%, the point, standard, and non-standard aspects of it reached 60 respondents or 96.78%. While those in the incapable category, namely in the aspect of summarizing general statements / general definitions, it reached 20 respondents or 32.25%. The aspect summarizes the section description, namely reaching 32 respondents or 51.62%, the aspect summarizes the description of the benefits of 38 respondents or 61.29%, the aspect of using effective sentences is 44 respondents or 70.97%, the aspect states the main idea, namely 47 respondents or 75.81 %, the aspect mentions detailed information, namely 21 or 33.88%, the answer aspect is about the content of the structure, namely 14 respondents or 22.59%, and the aspect of using capital letters reaches 30 respondents or 48.39%. Keywords: Observation results; Writing skills; Text summary;
