Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi: (1) hasil jangka panjang program kecakapan hidup, (2) hasil jangka menengah program kecakapan hidup, (3) hasil program kecakapan hidup, (4) proses program kecakapan hidup,(5) masukan program kecakapan hidup di SKB Bantul. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian evaluasi yang merujuk pada konsep Logical Framework Models. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan: (1) hasil jangka panjang kursus rias pengantin dan komputer telah tercapai sesuai kriteria namun tidak pada kursus menjahit. (2) hasil jangka menengah kursus rias pengantin dan komputer telah tercapai sesuai kriteria keberhasilan namun tidak pada kursus menjahit. (3) hasil kursus rias pengantin dan komputer telah tercapai sesuai kriteria keberhasilan namun tidak pada kursus menjahit. (4) proses belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan secara optimal, yaitu sosialisasi kegiatan menggunakan media internet belum optimal serta kegiatan monitoring dan evaluasi belum dilakukan secara menyeluruh. Monitoring dan evaluasi hanya terbatas pada evaluasi pembelajaran, dan belum mencakup monitoring dan evaluasi pada tataran program (5) masukan belum sepenuhnya mendukung pelaksanaan kegiatan, terutama terkait dengan permasalahan penyediaan sarana prasarana dan pendanaan kegiatan.Kata Kunci: evaluasi, program kecakapan hidup, Logical Framework Models An Evaluation of Life Skills Programs in Bantul Learning Activities Atelier, YogyakartaAbstractThis study aims to analyze the evaluation of: (1) the long term results, (2) the mid-term results, (3) result, (4) process, and (5) inputs of life skills programs in SKB Bantul. This esearch was qualitative evaluation research referring to the concept of Logical Framework Models. The results of the research reveal that: (1) The long-term results of bridal make-up and computer courses have been achieved according to the criteria, but not in a sewing cours;. (2) the results of mid-term course of bridal make-up and computer courses have been achieved according to the criteria of success, but not in the sewing course; (3) the result of bridal make-up and computer courses have been achieved according to the criteria of success, but not in sewing course; (4) the process have not been fully implemented optimally, in which, neither promotion of the activities using the internet media nor monitoring and evaluation has been done optimally. Monitoring and evaluation are limited to the evaluation of learning, and not including monitoring and evaluation at program level yet; (5) the input does not comprehensively support the implementation of the activities, especially those related to supplying of infrastructure and budgeting/financing.Keywords: evaluation, life skills programs

Abstract

Childhood is a special phase concerning both in the process of physicalgrowth and soul. Children are not only the responsibility of the parents but thestate for the fulfillment of rights. Thus, the fulfillment of children’s rights becomesan interesting issue. To give a meaning of natural condition in place of research,this research used a qualitative approach with phenomenology research type. Thisresearch concern on nonformal education for children. Child-friendly village as aneffort to realize the city worthy of children is one of the solutions in fulfilling the rights of the children. As a result, the transformation of values from the fulfillment of children’s rights increasingly improved through a child-friendly village. The transformation of values includes transformation from adults to children, from groups to individuals, and from individuals to individuals involved in activities. Transformed values include discipline, courage, confidence, mutual respect, and cooperation.

Abstract

The present study examined: what personal hygiene habits which preschool’s teacher incorporated into their classroom, how they incorporated it into the daily activities, and how often such activities were done. A descriptive study was designed to examine the personal hygiene learning in preschool during August-October 2017 in Java, Indonesia. A total of 29 preschool’s teacher asked to join this study. An interviewed guideline was used to collect the information. A thematic framework was sorted from verbatim transcripts. The results of the study indicate that the most incorporate activities were hand washing, showering, toilet training, cleaning the ears, and cleaning the hairs. The least incorporated personal hygiene activities were cutting the nails and cover the mouth when getting flu and cough. Personal hygiene activities such as hand washing were used to keep our body healthy and far from bacteria were the most reason used by the teacher to explain to the children how important of personal hygiene was. The study recommends the need to make personal hygiene learning education as the core component of preschool teacher’s training. So, they can incorporate this learning into preschool’s curriculum.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai penyebab kurangnya partisipasi pemuda serta upaya guna meningkatkannya dalam pengelolaan rintisan destinasi wisata di Desa Sidoluhur. Partisipasi menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam sebuah program pengembangan di masyarakat. Minimnya partisipasi masyarakat khususnya pemuda dalam pengembangan rintisan destinasi wisata di Desa Sidoluhur menyebabkan proses pengembangan berjalan kurang optimal. Hasil temuan dari artikel ini berasal dari informasi dan data yang dikumpulkan peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan Focus Grup Discussion (FGD). Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dan dikonstruksikan menjadi kesimpulan-kesimpulan yang merupakan temuan dalam penelitian ini. Dalam artikel ini, dibahas mengenai faktor-faktor apa saja yang melatarbelakangi kurangnya partisipasi pemuda serta upaya-upaya yang telah dilakukan pengelola guna meningkatkan partisipasi pemuda dalam pengelolaan pengembangan rintisan destinasi wisata di Desa Sidoluhur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) dampak jangka panjang (2) outcome (3) output (4) proses (5) input program PKM di Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi yang merujuk pada model Logical Framework dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan evaluasi disusun secara sistematis meliputi evaluasi (a) dampak jangka panjang program, (b) outcome program, (c) output program, (d) proses program, dan (e) input program. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif. Adapun langkahnya yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengenai evaluasi program PKM di Kabupaten Sleman adalah sebagai berikut (1) Dampak jangka panjang dicapai oleh LKP Silia dan LKP Macell EC; (2) Outcome dicapai oleh LKP Silia, namun tidak dicapai oleh LKP Macell EC; (3) Output dicapai oleh LKP Silia, namun tidak dicapai oleh LKP Macell EC; (4) Proses dicapai oleh LKP Silia, namun tidak dicapai oleh LKP Macel karena penggunaan media di LKP Macell EC kurang maksimal dan kurang mendukung proses pembelajaran; (5) Input yang sesuai dengan prasyarat program telah dicapai oleh LKP Silia, namun tidak berhasil dicapai oleh LKP Macell EC terutama pada prasyarat tutor dan media pembelajaran. Evaluation of community entrepreneurship education program AbstractThis study aims to analyze: (1) long-term impact (2) outcome (3) output (4) process (5) input PKM program in Sleman District. This research is an evaluation research that refers to Logical Framework model with qualitative research type. The evaluation approach is systematically composed including evaluation of (a) the program's long-term impact, (b) program outcomes, (c) program outputs, (d) program processes, and (e) program inputs. The research data was collected through observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was done by interactive model. The steps are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification and conclusion. The results of research on evaluation of PKM program in Sleman District are as follows (1) long term impact achieved by LKP Silia and LKP Macell EC; (2) Outcome achieved by LKP Silia, but not achieved by LKP Macell EC; (3) Output was achieved by LKP Silia, but not achieved by LKP Macell EC; (4) Process is achieved by LKP Silia, but not reached by LKP Macell EC; (5) Input is achieved or in accordance with the criteria of success by LKP Silia, but on LKP Macell EC.

Abstract

Life skills education basically aims to improve the quality of human resources to overcome various problems in their daily lives in the era of the 21st century. This study was aimed to describe the non-formal education institution managers’ efforts to implement the 21st-century life skills education. The researcher employed the quantitative approach with a survey research design in Yogyakarta City and Sleman District. The respondents were non-formal education institution managers. The data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the quantitative analysis method. The results of the study show that the implementation of 21st-century life skills education is still limited to the knowledge and hard skill developments. The unexplored materials include thinking skills which consist of conceptual thinking, creativity, innovation, problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and metacognition. The novelty of this research is the findings in this study provide a more detailed description of the weaknesses of non-formal education institutions in providing life skills education.

Abstract

Woman empowerment is one important and appropiate action to the area because there is rarely education which focus on build productive skills of woman to using local wisdom to be more useful. This research aims to develop women competence in disaster vulnerable village to understand and manage a local wisdom through vocational life skills education in context of increasing quality of the family and community socio-economy. The research is action research which has steps include issue analyzing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of action. The action is vocational life skills education. Its research subjects are 25 women in Sengir Village, Kalirejo, Kokap, Yogyakarta as target group. They chosen by the local government consideration and the group characteristic such as wifes of people producing coconut essence, who are till productive and motive to develop. Data collected by interview, observation, and questionnair and analyzed by qualitative analysis techniques. The data validity obtained by perseverance of observation, triangulation, and expert validation. The results of study reveal that the target group was able to develop awareness of utilization of the local potential, having attitudes, knowledge and skills of its production, and creating of the joint business. The existence of women's empowerment makes it more productive in economic activities in order to achieve their welfare.
