In addition, the tourism sector provides many positive impacts for the community from efforts to exploit natural and cultural potential. However, the piloting process, management and efforts to develop tourist villages are not all directed towards the formation of sustainable tourism villages. One of the obstacles is related to human resources as the subject of the tourism developer. So this study aims to analyze efforts to increase the capacity of human resources in realizing a sustainable tourism village. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method is used in this study. This method involves community members or members of the community acting as PAR implementers. There were 30 participants in this study consisting of Pokdarwis members, Village Facilitators and Youth. The cycle that is carried out is known as KUPAR (to Know, to Understand, to Plan, to Action and to Reflection). The results of this study indicate that through the education and training activities provided to participants, Pokdarwis members can be encouraged to innovate through discussions with experts initiated by the group. So that innovation can be raised through internal motivation to be more able to internalize efforts in developing the main tourism village in Semoyo village which is a research setting.
