Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan tentang Kampung Ramah Anak sebagai program perlindungan sosial yang dapat berkembang melalui pendekatan budaya dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Tegalejo Yogyakarta. Penelitian dengan metode kualitatif dengan FGD, observasi dan wawancara mendalam sebagai teknik pengumpulan datanya. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk diintepretasi kebermaknaannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan sosial melalui program KRA merupakan konsep yang dibangun pemerintah Kota Yogyakarta untuk memenuhi hak hidup, belajar, perlindungan dan partisipasi anak dalam pembangunan. Secara kultur, masyarakat menanggapinya dengan prinsip kebersamaan, komitmen, mengintegrasikan makna ramah anak dalam bentuk berbagai kegiatan yang melibatkan orang tua, anak muda dan tokoh masyarakat. KRA dikembangkan melalui (1) mengucapkan deklarasi kawasan tanpa rokok dalam setiap pertemuan pengurus RW; (2) membangun keakraban orang tua-anak seperti kerjasama, persatuan, toleransi yang dibingkai dalam kegiatan yang inovatif, edukatif, menyenangkan seperti outbond, gerak tari dan seni tradisional.Development of child friendly social protection in Yogyakarta City AbstractThis article aims to explain about Child Friendly Village (KRS) as a social protection program that can develop through cultural approach implemented in Tegalejo Village Yogyakarta. Research with qualitative method with FGD, observation and in-depth interview as data collection technique. The data were analyzed descriptively to interpret their meaningfulness. The results showed that social protection through the KRA program is a concept developed by the Yogyakarta city government to fulfill the right to live, learn, protect and participate in development. Culturally, the community responds with the principle of togetherness, commitment, integrating the meaning of child-friendly in the form of various activities involving parents, young people and community leaders. KRA is developed through (1) declaring a non-smoking area declaration in every RW committee meeting; (2) establishing parent-child familiarity such as cooperation, unity, tolerance that is framed in innovative, educational, fun activities such as outbound, dance movements and traditional arts.

Abstract

The implementation of collaborative learning model in Nonformal Education is based on the condition of learning in classroom that not optimal. It can be seen from the activities of students are passive. The purpose of this model is to improve student’s ability in course of Life Skills Education Nonformal Education Department. The improving of student’s learning ability can be indicate by; (a) the improving of student motivation in contend, (b) the reducing of fear and shame of students in ideas, (c) the improving of interaction in communication among students. This study used Lesson Study method that includes three cycles. Each cycle is consisting of planning, implementation and evaluation or plan-do-see. The implementation of this study is focusing in the first cycle on the planning. The second cycle is based on the result from the cycle one. The last cycle is result of the evaluation from the cycle two. Data are analyzed by qualitative model to explain comprehensive result. The result of this study shows that the students have done three positive activities in the classroom. Firstly, the students are active in convey the ideas. This situation can be seen from the activities of students that appreciate each other’s. Secondly, the students areestablished positive interaction among students. The students are not shame in communication each other and the students have high confidence in communication. Lastly, students in the group discussion can evaluation each other and make conclusion from the result of discussion. The success of learning of life skills education is supported on various things; a) the participation active of student that trigger other students to communicate, b) the provision of equal opportunities for every student to argue so that no individual differences, c) feedback from educators to the students so that the students gain meaningful experience.

Abstract

Woman empowerment is one important and appropiate action to the area because there is rarely education which focus on build productive skills of woman to using local wisdom to be more useful. This research aims to develop women competence in disaster vulnerable village to understand and manage a local wisdom through vocational life skills education in context of increasing quality of the family and community socio-economy. The research is action research which has steps include issue analyzing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of action. The action is vocational life skills education. Its research subjects are 25 women in Sengir Village, Kalirejo, Kokap, Yogyakarta as target group. They chosen by the local government consideration and the group characteristic such as wifes of people producing coconut essence, who are till productive and motive to develop. Data collected by interview, observation, and questionnair and analyzed by qualitative analysis techniques. The data validity obtained by perseverance of observation, triangulation, and expert validation. The results of study reveal that the target group was able to develop awareness of utilization of the local potential, having attitudes, knowledge and skills of its production, and creating of the joint business. The existence of women's empowerment makes it more productive in economic activities in order to achieve their welfare.

Abstract

AbstrakEra disrupsi ini Indonesia tidak hanya mengalami krisis ekonomi, namun juga krisis literasi. Fakta ini didasarkan pada riset Central Connecticut State University 2016, yang mengatakan bahwa literasi Indonesia berada di tingkat kedua terbawah dari 61 negara. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kegiatan ini bertujuan membangun kesadaran literasi masyarakat melalui keterpaduan program kelompok sadar wisata dan organisasi karangtaruna.   Untuk dapat membuat deskripsi, gambaran, atau lukisan secara sistematis, faktual dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta, sifat-sifat serta hubungan antarfenomena yang di amati, maka peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sehingga kegiatan sarasehan dan pendampingan sebagai satu bentuk aktivitas dalam pengumpulan data kepada masyarakat yang kemudian di analisis interaktif sesuai dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang kemudian menghasilkan pembentukan (1) Rintisan kemitraan antara kelompok sadar wisata dan generasi muda yang tergabung dalam organisasi karang taruna agar secara langsung terlibat dalam mengembangkan edukasi wisata. (2)  Kelompok sadar wisata dalam membangun kesadaran literasi masyarakat bersama dengan Taman Bacaan Masyarakat merupakan kolaborasi yang saling menguatkan. (3) Gerakan masyarakat dalam bentuk tulisan-tulisan penyemangat akan nilai keindahan, kebersihan, ramah, etika yang diletakkan di sudut-sudut jalan serta pengadaan buku informatif   tentang geopark Nglenggeran di beberapa omah (homestay) merupakan gagasan yang layak didukung oleh pemerintah setempat. Membangun kesadaran literasi bagi seluruh masyarakat menjadi penting terutama dalam mensikapi berkembangnya desa wisata dengan potensi alam yang begitu mempesona wisatawan. Untuk itulah kolaborasi kelompok sadar wisata dengan program pengembangan yang didukung taman bacaan masyarakat yang memenuhi kebutuhan belajar masyarakat kaitannya dengan gerakan mendukung desa wisataINTEGRATION OF TOURISM AWARENESS PROGRAMS IN BUILDING LITERATION AWARENESS IN NGLANGGERAN VILLAGEAbstractIn this era of disruption, Indonesia is not only experiencing an economic crisis, but also a literacy crisis. This fact is based on a 2016 Central Connecticut State University research, which states that Indonesian literacy is in the second lowest level of 61 countries. Based on this, this activity aims to build awareness of community literacy through integrated tourism awareness group programs and youth organizations. To be able to make a systematic, factual and accurate description, description or painting of the facts, properties and relationships between observed phenomena, the researcher uses a qualitative approach. So that the workshop and mentoring activities as a form of activity in collecting data to the community are then analyzed in accordance with the qualitative descriptive method which then results in the formation of (1) Pioneering partnerships between tourism awareness groups and the young generation who are members of the youth organization to be directly involved in developing tourism education. (2) The tourism awareness group in building community literacy awareness together with Community Reading Gardens is a mutually reinforcing collaboration. (3) Community movements in the form of encouraging writings on the values of beauty, cleanliness, friendliness, ethics placed on street corners and the procurement of informative books about the Nglenggeran geopark in several homestays are ideas that deserve to be supported by the local government. Building literacy awareness for the entire community is important, especially in response to the development of tourist villages with natural potential that fascinates tourists. Abstract

Penelitian tindakan ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dalam meningkatan kemampuan kelompok sadar wisata (POKDARWIS). Kemampuan tersebut dalam hal mengelola obyek wisata kawasan karts, antara lain membangun kesadaran kelompok untuk memanfaatkan potensi wisata kawasan karst. Penelitian tindakan ini diwujudkan dalam bentuk pendidikan dan pelatihan dengan tahapan penelitian: perencanaan, pelaksanaan,  evaluasi dan tindak lanjut dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran orang dewasa dan berbasis pengalaman. Kelompok sasaran adalah para pengurus dan anggota kelompok sadar wisata Desa Gebangharjo, Pracimantoro, Wonogiri. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok sasaran mampu meningkatkan kesadaran memanfaatkan segala potensi yang ada di kawasan karst, memiliki sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengelola layanan jasa wisata kawasan karst, mampu mengenali potensi wisata yang dapat dikembangkan, dan mampu melihat upaya pengembangan program wisata yang prospektif di kawasan karst. Oleh karenanya, ke depan dibutuhkan tindakan pengembangan lain yang lebih memungkinkan kelompok sasaran dapat menerapkan sikap, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan yang dimiliki dalam kegiatan implementasi kepariwisataan.The capacity building of tourism concious groups in managing tourism in the karst regionThis action research aimed at increase the ability of tourism awareness group in managing the karts area tourism area; and build group awareness to exploit karst region tourism potential. This research was manifested in the form education and training which is includes stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up using adult-learning and experience-based approaches. The target group is the managers and members of the POKDARWIS in Gebangharjo Village, Pracimantoro, Wonogiri. The research result show that the target group able to increase awareness to utilize all potentials in karst area, possessing attitude, knowledge and skills of the target group in managing karst tourism service area, able to recognize the tourism potential that can be developed, and able to see innovatif program development efforts in the karst area. Therefore, another development action is needed that enables the target group to apply the attitudes, skills and knowledge possessed in the tourism implementation activities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of an entrepreneurship literacy education model, the pioneering effort of business incubator   oriented to food security. Two of  the 83 locations as food insecure areas in all of Yogyakarta Special Province, were chosen as research locations. These two locations are Nglipar at Gunungkidul district  and Lendah at Kulonprogo district. Beside that, in the two locations was built Community Learning Center (CLC) to perform the private literacy which became the literacy education model oriented to food security. The data were collected through focus group discussion (FDG), observation, profound interview and documentation. The result indicated that the development of the private business literacy model with the CLC  as the facilitator could be developed through the education and training process. (a) For the two areas with the food insecurity, this development model means that group granary organization became a dynamic agent of literacy education program oriented to sustainability, integrating, and diversification which could motivate the community as a generator of social economic change. (b) the pioneer of group granary with gabah (unhulled paddy separated from the stalks) as a medium revitalized the ongoing formation group, togetherness, and saving or investing movement. (c) it became a group movement in anticipating the food insecurity such as lack of food situation, drought caused by long dry season

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to investigate management of community learning activity center (PKBM), obstacles and its developing efforts in order to be usable for solving problems faced by PKBM. The qualitative study was carried out on PKBM located in Pajangan sub district, Bantul Yogyakarta. PKBM was taken purposively as study subject. Data was collected by interview and documentation technique. Then the data were analyzed by classifying it into units and then categorized and interpreted. Community learning activity center as implementation of community-based education and as a place to learning people need optimal management that done continuously. Some characteristics of PKBM are decision making thjat most of them done by people including aspects of planning, organization, motivation, controlling, and evaluation on all learning  program implementationas form of its management. Abstract

This present study aims to describe the pattern of partnerships between schools and families in basic education as part of character building for students in the context of informal learning in primary schools. The study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach with 9 school principals and committee members as participants. Participants were recruited from both public and private schools based on regional representation. Data analysis was conducted inductively by linking of family involvement aspects with interactive analysis. The results showed that character building is the responsibility of both the schools and families which is achieved through priority programs implemented in all elementary schools. These programs involved institutional cooperation, family-school collaboration at home and family-teacher communication. The study also found that involvement in all elementary schools was mostly represented by mothers (85%). Character building can also be done by accelerating school-family partnership in a more informal learning context. Through this families and schools go hand in hand promoting culture of achievement, literacy related habits five principles which comprise smile, greeting, say hello, polite, well-mannered and five involvement which are corporation, community leaders in the villages, universities, family and city government. Involving families in children's education evidently provides confidence, comfort and enthusiasm in learning at home and at school.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola kemitraan antara keluarga dan sekolah dalam pendidikan dasar sebagai bagian dari pembentukan karakter siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran informal di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan partisipan 9 kepala sekolah dan komite sekolah. Peserta direkrut dari sekolah negeri dan swasta berdasarkan keterwakilan wilayah. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif dengan mengaitkan aspek keterlibatan keluarga dengan analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan karakter merupakan tanggung jawab sekolah dan keluarga yang dicapai melalui program prioritas yang dilaksanakan di semua sekolah dasar. Program-program ini melibatkan kerjasama kelembagaan, kerjasama keluarga-sekolah di rumah dan komunikasi keluarga-guru. Studi ini juga menemukan bahwa keterlibatan di semua sekolah dasar sebagian besar diwakili oleh ibu (85%). Pengembangan karakter juga dapat dilakukan dengan mempercepat kemitraan sekolah-keluarga dalam konteks pembelajaran yang lebih informal. Melalui ini keluarga dan sekolah bahu membahu mempromosikan budaya berprestasi, lima prinsip terkait kebiasaan literasi yaitu senyum, sapa, sopan, santun, menanyakan kabar dan lima keterlibatan yaitu korporasi, tokoh masyarakat di desa, perguruan tinggi, keluarga dan pemerintah kota. Melibatkan keluarga dalam pendidikan anak ternyata memberikan rasa percaya diri, kenyamanan dan semangat dalam belajar di rumah dan di sekolah.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kemampuan diversifikasi produk olahan berbasis potensi local bagi perempuan pengrajin emping melinjo sebagai upaya untuk memberdayaan kelompok dan warga masyarakat. Kemampuan diversifikasi ini perlu dikembangkan karena kelompok belum mampu mengembangkan produk bernilai jual tinggi dan meningkatkan kebermanfaatan usaha kelompok. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan dengan tahapan pengkajian isu, perencanaan, pengimplementasian tindakan, dan refleksi. Tindakan berupa pembelajaran vokasional kepada para anggota kelompok di Desa Kalirejo,Kulon Progo. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara dan observasi dan dianalisis secara kualitatif yaitu direduksi, disajikan dan ditarik kesimpulan. Teknik keabsaha data dilakukan dengan pengamatan perpanjangan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindakan yang diberikan kepada kelompok sasaran memberikan perubahan positif berupa mereka dapat memiliki kesadaran untuk lebih inovatif dan memiliki pengetahuna dan keterampilan dalam produksi diversifikasi produk olahan berbasis potensi local. Oleh karenanya, tindakan berkesimbungan dan relevan perlu dilaksanakan kembali di masa depan dengan menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai.Kata kunci: pembelajaran, diversifikasi, perempuan, produk AbstractThis study aimed to develop the ability to diversify processed products based on local potential for women “emping melinjo” craftsmen in an effort to empower groups and community members. This diversification ability needs to be developed because the group has not been able to develop high-value-selling products and increase the usefulness of group businesses. This research was an action research with the stages of the study of issues, planning, implementing actions, and reflection. The action was in the form of vocational learning to group members in Kalirejo Village, Kulon Progo. Data collected by interview and observation and analyzed qualitatively that is reduced, presented and drawn conclusions. The validity of the data was done by observing the extension and triangulation. The results showed that the actions given to the target group gave positive changes in the form they could have an awareness to be more innovative and have knowledge and skills in the production of diversified products based on local potential. Therefore, relevant and relevant actions need to be implemented again in the future by providing adequate facilities.Keywords: learning, diversification, women, products
