Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi program 5 hari sekolah sebagai upaya mengembangkan pendidikan karakter pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan lima hari sekolah dilaksanakan dengan mengintegrasikan karakter pada kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Kegiatan untuk mendukung pengembangan pendidikan karakter yaitu melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yaitu keagamaan, pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila, budaya kemataraman, dan kepramukaan. Kegiatan lain yang mendukung pengembangan pendidikan karakter yaitu melalui kegiatan pembiasaan. Hambatan yang dialami dalam implementasi kebijakan lima hari sekolah yaitu pendanaan untuk kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, keadaan siswa, dan tenaga pendidik.Kata kunci: kebijakan lima hari sekolah, pendidikan karakter IMPLEMENTATION OF FIVE DAY SCHOOL POLICIES AS A MEANS OF CHARACTER EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT IN BASIC SCHOOLAbstractThis study aims to determine the implementation of the program 5 days of school as an effort to develop character education in primary school students. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the five-day school policy is carried out by integrating the characters in the intracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Activities to support the development of character education through extracurricular activities that are religious, practice the values of Pancasila, culture kemataraman, and scouting. Other activities that support the development of character education are through habituation activities. Obstacles experienced in the implementation of the five-day school policy are funding for extracurricular activities, the condition of students, and educators.Keywords: five days school policies, character education

Abstract

This study was aimed at improving junior high school students’ vocabulary mastery. The subjects of this study were the students grade 7 of junior high school with a total number of 60 students. The method employed in this study was the Research and Development design. The development model used is the ADDIE modification development model. The steps in the ADDIE development consist of five stages; namely analyzing, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product trials are carried out in three stages, namely small group trials, operational trials, and large group trials.. The instruments used in development research were observation sheets, interviews, and assessment questionnaires. A t-test was used to analyze the effectiveness of media development. The media then were validated by the media experts, material experts, and teachers. The results shows that the media is feasible with an average score of 4.55. The findings also show that the Interactive Learning Multimedia effectively enhance students’ vocabulary mastery for junior high school students and able to be used as a catalyst or alternative media teaching vocabulary.

Abstract

PENDIDIKAN BERBASIS KOMUNITAS UNTUK PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN DI DESA WISATAAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan panduan model pembelajaran guna pemberdayaan perempuan pedesaan wisata melalui pendidikan berbasis komunitas di Desa Wisata Bejiharjo. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tersusunnya panduan model pemberdayaan perempuan desa wisata melalui kelompok belajar usaha yang mendukung di bidang pariwisata dan pendidikan masyarakat dalam bentuk panduan kegiatan dan Compact Disk (CD) pembelajaran interaktif yang berisikan panduan buku panduan aktivitas dan pembelajaran interaktif. Model yang dikembangkan mulai dari pengumpulan data awal mengenai kondisi, masalah, dan potensi masyarakat sasaran, membuat program, memberikan pelatihan, dan pendampingan program. Desain model pemberdayaan perempuan desa wisata melalui pendidikan berbasis komunitas ini terdiri atas calon peserta, memilih peserta, dan program pendidikan berbasis komunitas dalam bentuk pelatihan. Isi program pendidikan berbasis komunitas dalam bentuk pelatihan, penilaian, sosialisasi program, pelaksanaan program, evaluasi program, dan pendampingan. Berdasarkan data hasil validasi ahli dapat disimpulkan bahwa panduan model pemberdayaan perempuan melalui pendidikan berbasis komunitas memanfaatkan potensi lokal dikategorikan sangat baik.Kata kunci: pemberdayaan perempuan, desa wisata, pendidikan berbasis komunitasAbstractThis study was aimed at generating a women empowerment model through community-based education in the Bejiharjo,tourism village. The study usedthe research and development (R D) method. The results of the study produce a guideline modelin the form of a compact disk (CD) file for women’s empowerment of tourism villages through business learning groups that support tourism and community education containing an activity guideline book and interactive learning activities. Models were developed from the initial data collection on the conditions, problems, and potentials of the target community, programming, training, and program assistance. Stages of the includedata collection for candidates, selection of participants, and community-based education programs in the form of training. The community-based education programs include assessment, program socialization, program implementation, program evaluation, and mentoring. Based on the data of the expert validation, it can be concluded that the guidance model of women empowerment through community based education utilizing local potentials is categorized as very good.Keyword: women empowerment, tourism village, community-based education

Abstract

Instructional videos uploaded on Instagram and Youtube for online learning media teachers are facing a problem regarding the student's complicity in the learning process. To captivate the student's interest in the learning activity, the teacher needs to use innovative media. The study aims to develop an instructional video that is uploaded on Instagram and YouTube. The research used educational design research. The research procedure is 1) analysis of practical problems by the researcher; 2) development of prototype solutions informed by existing design principles; 3) testing and refinement. The study used questionnaires and interviews as the instrument. The number of subjects is 40 students The study results show that the video that was developed meets the criteria relevance, consistency, practicality, and effectiveness. The average score of the study is 3. The conclusion of the research is the instructional video uploaded on social media can improve students' activities in online learning. Recommendation for future study is to pay more attention to the urgency of instructional media in online education. Pengembangan Konten Video pada Instagram dan YouTube untuk Pembelajaran Daring Salah satu kendala pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara online adalah rendahnya keterlibatan mahasiswa. Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan media sosial diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran yang dapat diunggah di media sosial Instagram dan YouTube. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah educational design research. Prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi 1) penelitian pendahuluan; 2) tahap pengembangan atau prototipe; 3) tahap asesmen/evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuisioner dan pedoman wawancara. Jumlah subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 40 mahasiswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria relevansi, konsistensi, kegunaan dan keefektifan yang ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata skor penilaian produk 3. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media berupa video yang diunggah di media sosial, efektif membantu pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada peneliti selanjutnya terhadap urgensi penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik minat mahasiswa sehingga penelitian yang lebih mendalam tentang media pembelajaran perlu dilakukan.

Abstract

Abstract: The study tour learning model was an outside school learning activity which was organized by lecturers, students and alumni of Non-Formal Education Study Program,  Faculty of Educational Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta as a part of practice activity. This activity was conducted at Gembira Loka Zoo,Yogyakarta. This research aims at implementing the study-tour learning model to nurture the environmental care behaviour through outside learning program. This study can be categorized as action research. The subject of this research was the kindergarten students who visited Gembiraloka zoo. The data were collected through observation and interview, and those were analyzed descriptively. The results showed the followings: (1) the study-tour learning model was conducted through outdoor school activities which involved the following steps: socialization, core activities; welcoming, conditioning, creative corner, zoos or flora tour , reflection and closing; (2) the environmental care behaviors through the activity were friendly, respect, clean environment awareness, compassion on animals and plants, polite, and making good friends.Keywords :study-tour learning model, outside learning, environmental care behavior IMPLEMENTASI MODEL WISATA BELAJAR UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN PERILAKU PEDULI LINGKUNGAN Abstrak: Model wisata belajar dilakukan melalui praktik pembelajaran luar sekolah. Pembelajaran luar sekolah dilakukan di kebun binatang Gembiraloka oleh tim pemandu dan pendamping mahasiswa PLS FIP UNY sebagai bagian dari kegiatan praktik pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan model wisata belajar untuk menumbuhkan sikap peduli pada lingkungan melalui program pembelajaran luar sekolah di kebun binatang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan sebagai implementasi hasil pengembangan model. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta wisata belajar anak-anak taman kanak-kanak  di kebun binatang Gembiraloka. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara serta dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) model wisata belajar dilakukan melalui pembelajaran luar sekolah dengan tahapan sosialisasi program wisata belajar di dinas pendidikan kota/kabupaten, kegiatan inti, penyambutan, bina suasana, pojok kreatif, tour to zoo or flora, reflektif, dan penutup; (2)   perilaku peduli lingkungan  yang berhasil  ditumbuhkan meliputi  ramah dan menghargai sesama, sadar bersih lingkungan, menyayangi binatang, menyayangi tumbuhan, bersikap santun, dan mampu berteman dengan baik.Kata kunci: model wisata belajar, pembelajaran luar sekolah, perilaku peduli lingkungan

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan: (1) menghasilkan bahan ajar interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika pada siswa kelas X SMA PIRI 1 Yogyakarta, (2) menghasilkan bahan ajar interaktif yang layak untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas X SMA PIRI 1 Yogyakarta, dan (3) menghasilkan bahan ajar interaktif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas X SMA PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah-langkah desain pengembangan yang dikembangkan oleh Alessi Trollip. Desain pengembangan tersebut dikelompokkan atas tiga prosedur pengembangan, yang meliputi: (a) tahap perencanaan (planning), (b) tahap desain (design), dan (c) tahap pengembangan (development). Penelitian ini (1) menghasilkan bahan ajar interaktif dalam bentuk digital yang dikemas menggunakan Compact Disk (CD) dan dilengkapi buku petunjuk yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa sebagai sumber belajar pendukung pembelajaran matematika, (2) produk yang dihasilkan dinilai sangat layak untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media dan subyek uji coba, dan (3) produk yang dihasilkan efektif  meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas X SMA PIRI 1 Yogyakarta, terbukti dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 22,65 meningkat pada posttest sebesar 74,23 dengan nilai gain skor 0,71.Kata kunci: bahan ajar interaktif, pemahaman konsep, siswa SMA kelas X. INTERACTIVE LEARNING MATERIAL TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF MATHEMATICAL CONCEPTS IN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OF CLASS XAbstractThis developmental research aims to: (1) produce an interactive learning material product for improving understanding of mathematical concepts of grade X students of SMA PIRI 1 Yogyakarta, (2) generate viable interactive learning materials for improving understanding of mathematical concepts of grade X students of SMA PIRI 1 Yogyakarta, and (3) generating interactive effective learning materials for improving understanding of mathematical concepts of grade X students of SMA PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. This research refers to the developmental phases developed by Alessi Trollip. The developmental design was grouped into three development procedures, consisting of: (a) planning, (b) design, and (c) development. The research (1) produces interactive learning materials in digital form which are packed in Compact Disk (CD) and comes with manuals that can be used by students as learning resources supporting mathematics learning, (2) the product is considered highly feasible to improve the understanding of mathematical concepts based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and subject trials, and (3) the product effectively improves the understanding of mathematical concepts of grade X students of SMA PIRI 1 Yogyakarta, as evidenced by the pretest average value of 22.65 increases in posttest to 74.23 with gain score value of 0.71.Keywords: interactive learning materials, conceptual understanding, high school students of class X

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan, hasil, dan faktor keberhasilan program pemberdayaan pedagang pasar tradisional dalam pondok komunitas belajar di SKB Kabupaten Wonogiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode diskripsi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pemberdayaan dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan pelatihan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan sasaran program. Pemberdayaan pedagang pasar tradisional dalam pondok komunitas belajar di SKB Kabupaten Wonogiri dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pelatihan tata boga dan tata rias. (2) Hasil program pondok komunitas belajar meliputi penambahan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan, adanya kesadaran untuk menambah pengetahuan dan ketrampilan, penambahan relasi, dan kegiatan usaha.(3) Faktor keberhasilan program meliputi perencanaan program yang matang, motivasi belajar warga belajar yang tinggi, ketepatan materi dan metode pembelajaran, narasumber yang berkompeten dan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat, dan sarana prasarana yang memadai. Empowering Traditional Market Traders in the Learning Community Cottage in Community Learning Center (SKB) Wonogiri AbstractThis research aims to describe: the implementation, results, and success factors of the empowerment traditional market traders in the learning community cottage in SKB Wonogiri.This research is qualitative research with description method. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that (1) Empowerment can be done through training activities tailored to the needs of program targets. The empowerment of traditional market traders in the community learning cottage in SKB Kabupaten Wonogiri is conducted through culinary and makeup training activities; (2) The results of the traditional market traders empowerment program in the community cottage of learn include expansion of knowledge and skills, their awareness to increase knowledge and skills, and increase relationships and enterpreneur activities.(3) Success factors include planning programs, sound program, the motivation to learning participants of high learning, precision materials and methods of learning, competent resource persons and the use of appropriate learning strategies, and adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran anak TK serta untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak melalui pemanfaatan media barang bekas di TK N Pembina Kota Bima. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 21 anak. Sedangkan objeknya adalah media daur ulang. Teknik pengambilan data diambil dengan lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembaran observasi kreativitas anak dan aktivitas guru selama proses pembelajaran. Terjadi peningkatan kreativitas anak secara keseluruhan pada pratindakan dengan rerata 28,81 dengan presentase 19,05%. Rerata pada siklus I adalah 83,85 dengan persentase sebesar 73,73%, sedangkan rerata pada siklus II adalah 135,17 dengan persentase sebesar 87,97%. Sementara itu, aktivitas kegiatan guru mengalami peningkatan dengan rerata sebesar 72,22 pada siklus I dan 94,44 pada siklus II. Dengan demikian media barang bekas dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas anak dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: aspek kreativitas, barang bekas, anak TK kelompok B Improving Children’s Creativity Through Recycling Media in TK Bima CityAbstractThis study aims to improve the learning process of children in kindergartens as well as to enhance the creativity of children through the use of recycling media in TK N Pembina Bima City. This study is a classroom action-research which consisted of two cycles. The subjects of this study were 21 children. While the objects were recycling media. The data collection techniques were observation and field notes while the instruments used were observation sheets of children’s creativity and teacher’s activities during the learning process. There is an overal improvement in children’s creativity after the treatment with a mean of 28.81 and a precentage of 19.05%. The mean of cycle I is 83.85 with a precentage of 73.73% while the mean of cycle II is 135.17 with a percentage of 87.97%. Meanwhile, teacher’s activities increase with a mean of 72.22 in cycle I and 94.44 in cycle II. Thus, recycling media improve children’s activity in the learning process.Keywords: creativity aspects, recycling media, children’s kindergarten

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan desain model wisata belajar di Kebun Binatang Gembira Loka Yogyakarta. Penelitian tahap awal ini tersusun desain model wisata belajar di GL Zoo merujuk pada penelitian tindakan. Dari informasi yang diperoleh pada tahap pengumpulan data, selanjutnya peneliti mendesain produk yang berupa desain model wisata belajar, menyusun panduan kegiatan, panduan pendampingan, pelaksanaan dan refleksi. Untuk mendukung keberhasilan wisata belajar perlu adanya panduan yang dapat dijadikan acuan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Adapun komponen dalam desain model ini terdiri dari; (1) calon peserta, (2) memilih peserta, (3) Bentuk Kegiatan Wisata Belajar (penyambutan, bina suasana, tour to zoo, zona alam, pojok kreatif, permainan, dan refleksi), (4) Materi Kegiatan sesuai jenis kegiatannya, (5) media, (6) bahan Ajar, (7) penilaian, (8) sosialisasi program, (9) pelaksanaan program, (10) evaluasi program dan (11) pendampingan, Model ini dilengkapi dengan panduan kegiatan, panduan pembelajaran, dan panduan materi wisata belajarKata Kunci: desain model, wisata belajar, laboratorium luar kampus Design of Study-Tour Model in Gembira Loka Zoo Yogyakarta as an Outdoor Laboratory AbstractThe paper is aimed at describing the design of study-tour model in Gembira Loka Zoo Yogyakarta. This initial-phase research comprised the design of study-tour model in Gembira Loka Zoo which refered to action reseach. On the basis of the information gained from the data collection, the researchers designed the product in the form of study-tour model, arranged the guides of activities, accompaniment, implementation, and reflection. In order to support the success of study-tour, a guide which could be used as a reference in the learning activity is needed. The components of the model design consisted of (1) candidates of participant, (2) participants selection, (3) study-tour activity (welcoming, atmosphere building, zoo tour, nature zone, creativity corner, games, and reflections), (4) activity materials suitable to the types of the activity, (5) media, (6) learning material, (7) assessment, (8) program socialization, (9) program implementation, (10) program evaluation, and (11) accompaniment. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak melalui media VCD di TK Kudup Sari Sidoluhur, Godean, Sleman. Kemampuan membaca pada anak terlihat dalam kemampuan menyebutkan simbol-simbol huruf vokal dan konsonan, menghubungkan gambar dengan kata, membaca gambar yang memiliki kata sederhana dan membaca nama sendiri.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B TK Kudup Sari yang berjumlah 26 anak. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif.Kata kunci: kemampuan membaca permulaan, VCD, anak usia 5-6 tahun. Improvement of Early Reading Competence Using Video Compact Disc Media on 5-6 Year-Old AbstractThis research aims to improve early reading competence using VCD media on the pupils of TK Kudup Sari Sidoluhur, Godean, Sleman. The pupil reading competence can be shown by mentioning symbols of vocal and consonant letters, connecting pictures and words, reading pictures that have simple words and reading their own names.This is a collaborative classroom action research applying a model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. It consists of two phases and each phase contains three meetings. Data were taken by observation and documentation. The subjects of the research are 26 pupils as the Group B of TK Kudup Sari.
