Abstract

Generative learning has an advantage in the process of receiving new knowledge, so that learners need a medium in understanding a phenomenon that occurs. This research can help in dealing with the problem of scaffolding and advance organizers. The population in this study is all students of class XI SMA Negeri 4 Mataram academic year 2016/2017. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique, and this quasi experimental study used non-equivalent group design design with pre-test and post test. The results obtained from the class given generative treatment scaffolding assisted and advanced organizer have the same increase. In both classes expected the same as the previous ability, but the difference between the two is not much different. Therefore, there is no effect of generative learning model with scaffolding and advance organizer on ability.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and produce teaching materials compilation of mathematical physics II on the subject of differential equations. Teaching materials that have been developed in the form of teaching modules. The research method used is a development study consisting of four stages: the stage of determination, design, development, and disseminate. The results obtained from this research are in the form of teaching module of mathematical physics II differential equation and its application. The teaching module generated in terms of feasibility aspects of content, presentation, and linguistics obtained amean score is 92.5 with a percentage is 79.74%. This shows that the teaching module that has been created as good and feasible to use. It can be categorized effective as measured by the impact of student activities, responses, and value of students reasoning abilities. The impact of student activity seen during the learning process after using the module is 73.59% and the student activity is categorized much or quite practical. The percentage of students' response after using the module was 80.1% and categorized well. The impact on the mathematical reasoning ability meanscore of the class 70.87.  This shows that the teaching module that has been created can be  categorizedeffetive. Thus, it can be concluded that the teaching module compilation of mathematical physics II the subject of differential equations and their applications can be said to be effective and feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the influence of a problem based learning model using rotating trio exchange strategy (RTE) towards students physics learning achievement of year XI MIA SMAN 1 Lingsar. This study is quasi experiment with Non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was the whole students of year XI MIA SMAN 1 Lingsar of the academic year 2017/2018 whose total is 89 students. The sampling technique of the study was purposive sampling, which in turn, year XI MIA 1 treated as experimental class and year XI MIA 2 as the control class. The instrument used was a multiple choice test and observation. The multiple choice refers to the cognitive ability of the students (C1C6) which was 35 items in total which has been tested for validity, reliability, appropriateness, and the level of its difficulty have been examined. Evaluate students’ affective and psychomotoric assessments using observation sheets. Based on the result of the study it was gained that students average score of pre-test of both experimental and control class was 42 and 23, while the average score of post-test of both experimental and controlled class was 70 and 67 subsequently. The data gained has been previously examined its normality and homogeneity. It was obtained that experimental and control class was distributed normally and homogeneous. The hypothesis was examined using statistical analysis, i.e. parametric t-test polled variant with t test of both sides. It is obtained that dan diperoleh  and  on the level of significant 5%. The value of    , then  is rejected and  is accepted. The result indicated that there was positive influence of a problem based model using rotating trio exchange (RTE) strategy towards the students achievement on physics in year XI MIA of SMAN 1 Lingsar

Abstract

This study aim to analyze the critical thinking level of mechanical wave in the students of MAN 2 Mataram through Cognitive Conflict Approach. This research is a pre-experimental study with design only pretest-posttest group design. The population in this study is all students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Mataram, amounting to 257 students. Research sampling using purposive sampling technique, so selected XI class MIA 1, XI MIA 2, and XI MIA 4 as an experimental class that will be given treatment in the form of cognitive conflict approach. Data collection of critical thinking ability is done by description test as much as 5 problem and at the learning process obtained through LKPD. The results of hypothesis test analysis using parametric test paired sample t test and show that Ho rejected and Ha accepted, while the level of critical thinking ability included in category is very high for class XI MIA 1 and high category for class XI MIA 2 and XI MIA 4. The conflict cognitive approach applied successfully to increase the critical thinking ability.

Abstract

Lesson material presented in the form of data or facts and specific concepts on expository learning model helps learners to connect new material with material that precedes it, so organizers help is provided to instill meaningful learning. This study aims to determine the difference of influence of the implementation of learning model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer expository. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 3 Mataram academic year 2017/2018. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique, and quasi experimental research uses non-equivalent control group design with pre-test-and post-test. The results obtained from the classroom given the treatment of expository learning model assisted by advance organizer and post organizer have the same tendency improvement. In both classes there is a relatively similar increase in the mastery of the previous concept, but the difference between the two is not much different. Therefore, there is no difference of influence between expository model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer to the mastery of work and energy concepts of learners.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of causal learning models on the creativity of class X students of MAN 2 Mataram academic year 2018/2019. The type of research used was quasi-experimental design with untreated control group design with pretest-and posttest. The population in this study were all students of class X MIA MAN 2 Mataram. The research sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique, so that students of class X MIA 6 were selected as many as 33 people as the experimental class and the X MIA 5 class as many as 34 people as the control class. The experimental class was given treatment in the form of causal learning models and control classes using conventional learning. The instrument used to measure the creativity of students in the form of a description test as many as 6 items. The research hypothesis was tested using the t-test with a significance level of 5%. The results of the t-test obtain a t-count value of 5.02 smaller than t_table which is equal to 2.00 (H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted). So it can be concluded that there is the influence of causal learning models on the creativity of students. This result can be proven by the N-gain test, where there is an increase in creativity by 37% for the experimental class and the control class by 19% with the medium category.

Abstract

Pulau Lombok banyak memiliki warisan leluhur berupa kearifan lokal yang sangat berpengaruh dalam hal mitigasi bencana gempabumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan memaparkan apa adanya kearifan lokal dan kebijakan yang berkaitan dengan mitigasi bencana gempabumi berbasis kearifan lokal di SD Negeri 6 Mataram. Penelitian ini melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, peserta didik dan penjaga sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, focus group discussion (fgd), dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan kearifan lokal masyarakat Lombok terhadap mitigasi bencana gempabumi adalah : (1) keyakinan bencana gempabumi adalah ketetapan dari Allah SWT, (2) mitos telaga lindur yang menimbulkan kesadaran pentingnya hidup berdampingan dan harmonis dengan alam untuk menghindari terjadi bencana, (3) tanda fisik dan metafisik, (4) musyawarah dan mufakat, (5) gotong royong, (6) kentongan bambu, dan (7) desain rumah adat Lombok untuk mitigasi bencana. Kearifan lokal ini memberikan inspirasi bagi mitigasi bencana gempabumi di sekolah. Implementasinya adalah: (1) desain bangunan di sekolah, (2) informasi kebencanaan melalui mading, poster, spanduk dan lainnya. Dalam bentuk non struktural dilakukan : (1) sosialisasi, (2) integrasi materi mitigasi bencana gempabumi pada pembelajaran di kelas, (3) koordinasi antara sekolah dengan lingkungan sekitar. Jadi kearifan lokal yang dimiliki masyarakat Lombok berdampak positif terhadap mitigasi bencana gempabumi di pulau Lombok.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran CCM CCA terhadap penguasaan konsep fluida statis peserta didik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 4 Praya dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik pada ketiga kelas yang dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran CCM CCA. Instrumen yang di gunakan untuk penguasaan konsep menggunakan instrumen tes yang berupa tes pilihan ganda. Data penguasaan konsep diuji dengan menggunakan uji N-gain secara lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui peningkatan per indicator. Abstract

Training on optimizing the use of Science Kits for teachers of SD Negeri 1 Cakranegara has been carried out offline. This training activity aims to train and improve understanding and knowledge using the Science Kit in the learning process so as to improve mastery of science concepts. The methods used are lecture, simulation, and mentoring methods, and at the end of the activity an evaluation is carried out. The expected outcome is that teachers can use the Science Kit in the learning process in the classroom. The results of the activity show that this training activity can increase the knowledge of teachers in assembling and skills using the Elementary Science Kit, so that it has implications for increasing mastery of the concept of science through experiments

Abstract

Guru mempunyai peran yang penting dalam pendidikan tidak hanya dituntut untuk menguasai materi, saat ini guru juga diharuskan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi yang ada sehingga dapat menyampaikan materi pelajaran lebih efektif. Hasil wawancara dengan Kepala sekolah dan beberapa guru-guru di SDN Subahnala Kecamatan Batukliang Lombok Tengah, banyak guru kurang mampu dalam membuat inovasi dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran terutama dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini guru-guru akan diberikan pendalaman materi IPA terutama materi yang terkait dengan perkembangan teknologi dan lingkungan sekitar dengan mengunakan pendekatan berbasis masalah. Pelatihan ini dirasakan sangat penting dan berharga bagi guru untuk memperbaiki kualitas proses dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kegiatan Pelatihan Pendalaman Materi IPA berbasis masalah dilaksanakan dengan empat tahapan yaitu (1) tahap penyampaian materi pembelajaran berbasis masalah (2) Pendalaman materi IPA dengan mengunakan pendekatan berbasis masalah (3) Evaluasi Pelatihan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ceramah, diskusi dan kerja praktek. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan antusiasme yang sangat tinggi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam merancang dan menerapkan pembelajaran IPA berbasis masalah. Kegiatan ini akan ditindaklanjuti dengan mengadakan kegiatan yang sama secara berkala dan pendampingan untuk memaksimalkan kemampuan guru dalam mendalami materi IPA.
