Abstract

Abstract:  The aims of this  research were to know: (1) which one is providing better mathematics learning achievement, students taught using cooperative learning of STAD with guided discovery learning, STAD or direct learning, (2) which one is having better mathematics learning achievement, students with Adversity Quotient (AQ) climbers, students with AQ campers or students with AQ quitters, (3) at each learning model, whether there are any mathematics learning achievement difference between students with AQ climbers, students with AQ campers or students with AQ quitters, (4) at each type of Adversity Quotient (AQ), whether there are any mathematics learning achievement difference between students taught using cooperative learning of STAD with guided discovery learning, STAD or direct learning. This research was a quasi experimental research using 3x3 factorial designs. The hypotheses testing used two ways ANOVA with unbalanced cell. This research concludes that: (1) students taught using cooperative learning of STAD with Guided Discovery Learning have better mathematics learning achievement than the students taught using STAD and direct instruction, as well as students who were taught using STAD have better mathematics learning achievement than the group of students taught using direct instruction, (2) students achievement with the climbers type of AQ were better than the students with the campers and quitters type of AQ while the students with the campers type of AQ have better mathematics learning achievement than the students with the quitters type of AQ, (3) in the cooperative learning of STAD with guided discovery learning, there was no difference in learning achievement in each type of AQ, in the STAD, there was no difference in learning achievement in each type of AQ, in the direct instruction, students with climbers type of AQ have better mathematics learning achievement than students with quitters type of AQ, (4) for the students who have climbers type of AQ, there was no difference in learning achievement in each learning models, for the students who have campers type of AQ, STAD with guided discovery learning produced better mathematics achievement than direct instruction, for the students who have quitters type of AQ, STAD with guided discovery learning produced better mathematics achievement than direct instruction.Keywords: STAD With Guided Discovery Learning, Adversity Quotient, Mathematics Learning Achievement

Abstract

One of the mathematics material that elementary school teaches is multiplication. One of the problems in the Kunci village is that there are still many elementary school students who do not understand or can’t memorize multiplication, while in school it is not possible to always multiply because of time and curriculum issues, so additional learning guidance using card game is needed. The result of community service activities is the ability of children in multiplication to increase. As many as 35 of the 40 children or 81,4% children get a score above the average in multiplication tests.Keywords: Card game, multiplication

Abstract

ABSTRAKSebagian peserta didik mengatakan bahwa matematika itu abstrak, karena terdiri dari angka dan simbol. Sebagai pemerhati pendidikan di bidang matematika ini menjadi tugas besar untuk mengubah pemikiran tersebut bahwa matematika itu digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan nyata adanya. Media pembelajaran inovatif merupakan sarana untuk menyampaikan bahwa matematika itu nyata, asyik dan menyenangkan tentunya. SDN Sidorejo merupakan sekolah yang terletak di Kecamatan Sukosewu Bojonegoro dimana penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran matematika masih jarang dilakukan. House of Multiplication merupakan media dalam bentuk permainan membentuk deret angka secara horizontal, vertikal maupun diagonal,dimana untuk mendapatkan masing-masing deret angka tersebut pemain harus melakukan perkalian yang bersesuain dengan papan angka yang sudah disediakan. Hasil pelatihan ini dianalisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif (berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara) menunjukkan bahwa semua peserta telah mendapat pengetahuan dan keterampilan terkait aplikasi media pembelajaran House of Multiplication. Media yang dipresentasikan ini mendapat respon positif dari peserta didik maupun guru di SDN Sidorejo. Peserta didik sangat antusias dalam belajar menggunakan media tersebut, belajar adalah sesuatu yang menyenangkan. Bagi guru bisa menjadikan motivasi untuk senantiasa menggunakan cara-cara baru utamanya dalam pengaplikasian media pembelajaran inovatif di kelas. Kata kunci : Media Pembelajaran Inovatif, House of  Multiplication, Hitung Cepat Perkalian

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam membelajarkan matematika pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kepada anak tunanetra di SLB Muhammadiyah Cepu.Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah guru matematika dan seluruh kelas VIII di SLB Muhammadiyah Cepu. Data pada penelitian ini adalah data mengenai strategi guru dalam membelajarkan matematika pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar yang dihasilkan melalui observasi dan transkripsi data pada saat proses pembelajaran dalam dua kali observasi. Validasi data yang digunakan adalah member check, yaitu proses pengecekan data yang diperoleh peneliti kepada subjek penelitian untuk menguji kemungkinan dugaan-dugaan yang berbeda. Hasil dari penelitian ini pada kegiatan pendahuluan dan kegiatan penutup adalah guru menerapkan pembelajaran gerak dan irama.Sedangkan pada kegiatan inti, strategi guru dalam membelajarkan matematika yatg terkait pengetahuan konseptual pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar adalah dengan mengimplementasikan teori belajar bruner pada tahap enaktif, dengan mengenalkan konsep dari bentuk bangun ruang sisi datar dengan menggunakan media atau alat peraga yang terbuat dari kayu. Kata Kunci: strategi guru, pengetahuan konseptual, pembelajaran matematika, anak tunanetra.

Abstract

Abstrac: The purpose of this research to describe about graph theory is subject can serve as a tool for growing mathematical creativity. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is used as a method of analyzing a wide range of articles and literature were obtained through searching of data sources. The results of the analysis of various sources elaborated reviews about the open ended questions of graph theory that are used as a disclosure in growing the mathematical creativity of students based on Bahar & Maker's theory modifications are open ended questions that have characteristics such as fluency and flexibility and have been done in detail/elaboration. Fluency on theory graph can be known when students do task/exercises such as isomorphic graph. Flexibility on theory graph can be known when students do task/exercises, example about spanning trees. In this paper also we showed how can use graph theory to teach standards of NCTM (National Council of Teachers on Mathematics of America) that related with mathematical creativity. Keyword: graph theory, mathematical creativity, fluency, flexibility  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan graf teori merupakan salah satu alat untuk menumbuhkan kreativitas matematika. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) digunakan sebagai metode dalam menganalisis sebagai berbagai artikel dan literatur yang diperoleh melalui pencarian sumber data. Hasil analisis dari berbagai sumber tersebut dijabarkan ke dalam ulasan tentang pertanyaaan terbuka dari teori graf yang digunakan untuk mengungkap tumbuhnya kreativitas matematika peserta didik berdasarkan teori modifikasi Bahar & Maker dimana pertanyaan terbuka yang memiliki karakteristk seperti fluency/kelancaran dan flexibility/keluwesan yang dikerjakan secara elaborasi. Dimensi fluency/kelancaran pada teori graf dapat diketahui ketika peserta didik mengerjakan soal misal tentang isomorfik. Dimensi flexibility/keluwesan pada teori graf dapat diketahui ketika peserta didik mengerjakan soal misal tentang spanning trees/pohon berentang. Dalam artikel ini ditunjukkan juga bagaimana graf teori menggunakan standar dari NCTM yang terkait dengan kreaitvitas matematika. Kata kunci: teori graf, kreativitas matematika, fluency, flexibility

Abstract

This study aims to describe the solution scheme chosen by students in understanding the isomorphic relation of a graph. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Subjects in this study amounted to 35 students from the Mathematics Education Study Program of PGRI Bojonegoro in the fourth semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. Test questions related to the isomorphic understanding of a graph were given to thirty-five students, then six students were selected to be interviewed. Data analysis was carried out by using triangulation. it was done by comparing the data from video interviews and test results data. This is done to ensure the validity and reliability of research. The result of the study shows that the elements of disclosure in the description of student answers were various. It shows that the existence of an operative scheme that is a diverse problem-solving. There was a proof of the gravity of a graph by adding vertices to both graphs comparing and making sure that the numbers are the same, reviewing adjacent, and some are equipped with a matrix. In the element of impact there are those who write conclusions and there are some who do not. Variations in the solution scheme used by students can be used as an evaluation of learning that students are unique so there is a need for continuous innovation related to students center learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan skema solusi yang dipilih oleh siswa dalam memahami hubungan isomorfik suatu graf. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 siswa dari Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika PGRI Bojonegoro pada semester keempat tahun akademik 2017/2018. Pertanyaan tes yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman isomorfik grafik diberikan kepada tiga puluh lima siswa, kemudian enam siswa dipilih untuk diwawancarai. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi. itu dilakukan dengan membandingkan data dari wawancara video dan data hasil tes. Ini dilakukan untuk memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa elemen pengungkapan dalam deskripsi jawaban siswa beragam. Ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan skema operasi yang merupakan pemecahan masalah yang beragam. Ada bukti gravitasi grafik dengan menambahkan simpul ke kedua grafik yang membandingkan dan memastikan bahwa angka-angkanya sama, meninjau yang berdekatan, dan beberapa dilengkapi dengan matriks. Dalam elemen dampak ada orang yang menulis kesimpulan dan ada sebagian yang tidak. Variasi dalam skema solusi yang digunakan oleh siswa dapat digunakan sebagai evaluasi pembelajaran bahwa siswa adalah unik sehingga ada kebutuhan untuk inovasi berkelanjutan yang terkait dengan pembelajaran pusat siswa.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe teacher’s strategy in teaching mathematics on the topic of “exchanging money” to the first grade International Class Program’s students in SD Integral Luqman Al-Hakim Bojonegoro. The subject of this research was mathematics teacher and all students of I-A SD Integral Luqman Al-Hakim Bojonegoro. The data of this research was teacher’s strategy in teaching mathematics taken from the result of recording transcription of teaching and learning process through two observations. The data validity technique used in this study was member check, the process of data checking was taken by the researcher from the subject of the research to examine the possibilities of different assumptions. The result was that teachers described the topic of exchanging money to students through contextual teaching and learning by implementing contextual teaching and learning; where teachers used the market system on procedural knowledge, and used model on conceptual knowledge.

Abstract

Writing becomes one of the skills that must be learned by students because by writing they can convey ideas in addition to speaking in written form. This descriptive qualitative research aimed to find the generic structural constructs in the recount texts written by six students in class X IPS 1 at SMAN 1 Kalitidu. The research results indicated that four students mentioned the who, what, when, and where aspects of the orientation, while two students missed two of them. In terms of a series of events, four students wrote a sequence of events by stating the day, clock, and activity, whereas two students did not write the events chronologically. Finally, in the re-orientation part, to end their personal experience, three students wrote summaries, comments, and impressions, but the rest of the students did not. Accordingly, three out of six students composed good recount texts, but the others still needed improvement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to prove whether the blended learning model assisted by VAKSIN (Video Animasi untuk Sistem Pembelajaran Online/Video Animation for Online Learning Systems) is more effective than the online learning model on student learning outcomes in the fourth semester of the Mathematics Education Study Program. The posttest only control design was carried out in the Geometry course at IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro for the 2021/2022 academic year. This study used a saturated sampling technique where all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation and test techniques. Test the hypothesis used t-test. The results of data analysis obtained by testing the hypothesis in the experimental class and control obtained tcount= 3,18219098 dengan ttable = 1,99084707. Karena tcount > ttable hence H0 is rejected so it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of the fourth semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro who were subjected to VAKSIN-assisted blended learning were more effective than those who were subjected to online learning.
