Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan memperbaiki sikap belajar peserta didik melalui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran matematika kons-truktivis berbasis humanistik berbantuan e-learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pe-ngembangan dengan model 4D yang diadaptasi menjadi 4P, yaitu pendefinisian (analisis awal-akhir, analisis peserta didik, analisis materi, analisis tugas, dan merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran khusus), perancangan (penyusunan kriteria tes, pemilihan media, pemilihan format, dan desain awal), pengembangan (validasi ahli dan uji coba), dan penyebaran. Ada-pun perangkat yang dikembangkan adalah Silabus, RPP, LKPD, dan E-learning. Teknik pe-ngumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan metode tes, dokumentasi, observasi, dan angket. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan proses dan sikap belajar peserta didik lebih baik, karena kedua variabel secara bersama memberikan pengaruh posi-tif terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik. Rata-rata prestasi belajar kelas eksperimen mele-bihi batas KKM, sehingga rata-rata prestasi belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran efektif. The purpose of this research was improving the understanding of the concept and improving the attitudes of learners through the development of software-based humanistic constructivist mathematics assisted e-learning. The research is a development research using 4D model, which is modified to 4P model, namely defining (initial-end analysis, students analysis, material analysis, assignment analysis, and formulate particular learning purpose), designing (formulate test criteria, choose media, chose format, and initial design), developing (validation by expert and try out), and dissemination. The devices develop are Syllabus, Lesson Plan, Worksheet, and E-learning. The data are collected though are test method, documentation, observation, and questionnaire. Based on the analysis of the data, we can conclude that the students’ process skill and attitude are better, because both variables positively impact the students learning outcome. The average of learning outcome in experiment class is more than the minimum criteria, and then the average of the learning outcome of experiment class is better than the control class. Thus, we can conclude that the learning is effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran konstruktivisme berbasis humanistik dengan metode Two Stay Two Stay berbantuan CD interaktif pada materi geometri dimensi dua yang valid; (2) mengukur efektifitas pembelajaran konstruktivisme berbasis humanistik dengan metode Two Stay Two Stray berbantuan CD interaktif pada materi geometri dimensi dua.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan modifikasi model 4-D (menjadi 3-D) dengan tahap-tahap: Define, Design, dan Develop. Jenis perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah Silabus, RPP, Buku Pegangan Peserta Didik, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), CD Interaktif, dan Tes Prestasi Belajar (TPB).Subyek ujicoba penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK N 11 Semarang tahun Pelajaran 2010/2011 , yang dibagi dalam tiga kelas, yaitu: 1 kelas uji coba soal TPB (32 peserta didik), 1 kelas kontrol (33 peserta didik) dan 1 kelas eksperimen (32 peserta didik). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui: (1) lembar validasi; (2) pengamatan; dan (3) tes prestasi belajar. Data-data tersebut digunakan untuk: (1) mengetahui kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran; dan (2) mengetahui efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran.Variabel aktivitas dan keterampilan proses sebagai variabel independen dan prestasi belajar sebagai variabel dependen. Data diolah dengan deskriptif, uji analisis uji banding, sample t.test dan uji pengaruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) setelah melalui proses validasi dan revisi diperoleh perangkat pembelajaran berupa Silabus dengan rataan skor 3,82, RPP dengan rataan skor 3,82, Buku pegangan Peserta Didik dengan rataan skor 3,88, LKPD dengan rataan skor 3,75, CD Interaktif dengan rataan skor 3,72, dan  TPB dengan rataan skor 3,73 pada skor tertinggi 4 jadi dengan skor tersebut termasuk kriteria valid; (2) proses pembelajaran matematika konstruktivisme berbasis humanistik dengan metode Two stay Two Stray berbantuan CD interaktif pada materi Dimensi Dua efektif. Efektifitas ditandai dengan (a) Tercapainya KKM prestasi belajar peserta didik= 75 secara individual  80% dan klasikal  75; (b) Aktivitas dan keterampilan proses berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar sebesar 79,1%; dan (c) rata-rata prestasi belajar kelas eksperimen (81,88) lebih baik secara signifikan dari pada prestasi belajar kelas kontrol (70,91). Berdasarkan hasil  perangkat yang valid dan pembelajaran efektif menunjukkan pengembangan perangkat  tercapai. Kata Kunci: pengembangan perangkat, konstruktivisme, humanistik, Two Stay Two Stray, CD interaktif, Dimensi Dua.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  kemampuan awal literasi matematika, kualitas pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan Lembar Kerja Mandiri Mailing Merge; dan menganalisis kemampuan literasi matematika ditinjau dari metakognisi siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Mix Method untuk memperoleh data kuatitatif berupa kemampuan literasi matematika sebelum pembelajaran dan kualitas pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan LKM Mailing Merge, serta data kualitatif berupa analisis kemampuan literasi matematika ditinjau dari metakongisi siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada kelas XI PD 1 dengan treatment pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan LKM Mailing Merge dan kelas PD2 dengan treatmen pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan LKS. Data kuantitatif diuji menggunakan Wilcoxon test, U Mann Whitney, Paired Sample t-test, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi matematika sebelum pembelajaran masih berada pada level 1. Pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan LKM Mailing Merge mampu memfasilitasi siswa menyelesaikan masalah matematika secara mandiri melalui diskusi, presentasi kelas dan penilaian individu yang berdampak kemampuan literasi matematika yang tuntas, meningkat dan peningkatan kelompok eksperimen lebih dari kelompok kontrol. Pembelajaran juga mendapat respon yang tinggi serta metakognisinya mengalami peningkatan. Kemampuan literasi matematika pada siswa metakognisi awalnya rendah, sedang dan tinggi relatif sama yaitu pada level 5-6 karena pembelajaran ini mampu meningkatkan siswa yang metakognisi awal rendah menjadi tinggi dan berpengaruh pada kemampuan literasi matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan:  (1) kemampuan awal  literasi matematika dan metakognisi siswa, (2) keefektifan pembelajaran CMP berbantuan OneNote Class NoteBook, dan 3) kemampuan literasi matematika ditinjau dari metakognisi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian mixed methods concurrent embedded. Subjek  penelitian  ini adalah siswa  kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Ungaran. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan tes, wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji statistik banding dan uji peningkatan gain. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) kondisi awal literasi matematika siswa rata-rata berada pada level yang rendah yaitu level 1 dan 2 serta metakognisi rata-rata berada pada level aware use; (2) diperoleh keefektifan pembelajaran yang ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas eksperimen yang sudah tuntas yaitu memperoleh nilai minimal 68 mencapai 90%, kemampuan literasi matematika kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol, peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematika kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol serta metakognisi siswa meningkat; dan (3) setelah  pembelajaran CMP berbantuan OneNote Class NoteBook, kondisi metakognisi siswa meningkat rata-rata berada pada level strategic use.  Kondisi literasi matematika siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada level 3 ke atas sejalan dengan peningkatan metakognisinya.

Abstract

Problem solving ability is one of the goals in learning mathematics and it can be developed by paying attention to student’s learning style. The aim of this study are to determine the quality of the Whole Brain Teaching learning assisted geogebra and found a pattern of problem solving ability of 8th grade students in problem solving viewed by learning style. The research uses mixed methods study with concurrent embeded design. The type of quantitative research is experimental research with nonrandomized control group. The subject of the research were 2 students of VIII-F, who chosen from each learning style. Quantitative data were tested by z-test and t-test, while the qualitative data were analyzed descriptively. Learning by Whole Brain Teaching assisted geogebra is qualified. Students of visual type can solve the problem well until the looking back stage. Students of auditorial type can solve the problem but have difficulty to looking back. Students of kinesthetic type can solve the problem but have difficulty in planning stage.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to produce a study of the effectiveness of CTL learning on mathematical critical thinking skills and describe students' mathematical critical thinking skills in CTL learning based on their cognitive style. The type of research used is a mixed method concurrent embedded model. The subjects of this study were eighth-grade students of SMP Ekarini Semarang. Retrieval of data in the form of cognitive style using the GEFT test and mathematical critical thinking skills through tests. The results of analysis of individual completeness data using one sample t-test sign value 0.588> 0.05, classical completeness with test proportion z count = 1.67> z table = 1.64, and simple linear regression test with the help of SPSS produces a sign value of 0,000 <0,005 with R2 = 0.684 which means that the application of effective CTL learning to mathematical critical thinking skills and cognitive style has an influence on mathematical critical thinking skills of 68.4%. The cognitive style of FDI has the best mathematical critical thinking ability by mastering the ability in aspects of conclusions, assumptions, deductions, and interpretations. The cognitive style of FI masters the ability in aspects of conclusions, deductions, interpretations, and evaluate arguments. The cognitive style of FD controls the ability to draw conclusions, assumptions, and deductions. Educa need to pay attention to the application of learning that can be received by all students despite having different styles such as cognitive the CTL models.

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) explaine the quality of problem-based learning with DAPIC problem-solving process and 2) describe about students' mathematical literacy abilities after being subjected to problem-based learning with DAPIC problem-solving process based on self-confidence. This study used the mixed method with concurrent embedded models. The results of this study indicated that the learning planning obtained quite valid, the implementation of learning with good category, and the average value of mathematical literacy abilities of experimental class students reached the KKM and the proportion of students who complete the KKM reached to 75%. Furthermore, the average mathematical literacy abilities of the experimental class students was better than the control class and the proportion of student’s mastery learning in the experimental class was higher than the control class. Students with low self-confidence still got difficulties in solving problems with the correct resolution steps. Students with self-confidence were already good enough in solving problems based on the correct steps. While students with high self-confidence were very good in solving the given questions so that the steps were quite complete and correct.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) identify some learning obstacles experienced by students related to the topic of rectangular areas, (2) find out the didactical design of mathematical reasoning to develop a didactical situation, (3) describe the didactical situation of mathematical reasoning in learning process, and (4) increase mathematical reasoning ability through the learning of didactical design. The method employed in this study was a qualitative method with Didactical Design Research (DDR) approaches consisting of three formal stages. The results showed that (1) there were four types of learning obstacles experienced by students about the concept of quadrilateral area, (2) the didactical design that has been prepared facilitated the students construct the area of quadrilateral through the triangle areas approach, (3) the didactical situation developed consisted of 12 didactical situations along with predictions of student’s responses and anticipation, (4) students’ learning obstacle could be minimized and students’ mathematical reasoning abilities had been increased. Thus, it could be concluded that the didactical design of mathematical reasoning could be used as a guideline for educators to design a didactical situation in mathematics learning activities.
