Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membuktikan efektivitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek (PBP) terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa pada matakuliah metodologi penelitian pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Matematika IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro tahun akademik 2012/2013. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling, sehingga terambil 2 kelas yakni III-A yang terdiri dari 32 siswa dan VIII-C yang terdiri dari 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa PBP lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran langsung terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa pada matakuliah metodologi penelitian pendidikan.Kata kunci : Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek (PBP), metodologi penelitian, kreativitas mahasiswa.

Abstract

Hasil kajian eksploratif ini memaparkan kualitas bukti matematis oleh mahasiswa pada soal aritmatika matriks berbasis motivation to reasioning tasks. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan model grounded theory melalui 3 tahap yakni open coding, selective coding, dan theoretical coding. Pada akhir pembahasan sub bab aritmatika matriks pada matakuliah aljabar linier, mahasiswa mendapatkan tugas membuktikan 3 soal aritmatika matriks untuk mengukur kemampuan konstruksi bukti matematis. Mahasiswa dikelompokkan menjadi 3 tingkatan, yakni tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Pada tahap open coding, dilakukan analisis hasil pekerjaan mahasiswa terhadap 3 soal tersebut untuk menentukan kategori yang relevan. Tahap selective coding dilakukan dengan menyeleksi dan pendalaman terhadap penemuan kategori melalui interview dengan responden yang diambil berdasarkan sampel teoritis (masing-masing tingkatan diambil 3 responden). Tahap theoretical coding ditemukan bahwa kualitas konstruksi bukti matematis dalam matakuliah aljabar linier pada soal aritmatika matriks dapat ditentukan berdasarkan 6 kategori, yakni langkah awal, alur pembuktian, ketaatan konsep, argumen, dan penggunaan kunci.Kata kunci: bukti matematis, motivation to reasioning tasks, soal aritmatika matriks

Abstract

The research objective is to proof 1). models of direct instruction by involving students in self-evaluation and peer learning can provide better results than direct instruction, 2). students having a field dependent cognitive style have better learning outcomes than field independent, 3). In each of the learning model, whether the student has a field dependent cognitive style have better learning outcomes than independent field, 4). In each of the cognitive style, whether the model of direct instruction by involving students in self-evaluation and peer learning can provide better results than direct instruction. The population of this study was all students of mathematics education of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro, fourth semester, in the academic year of 2014/2015. The sample of this study was all students of the fourth semester students in class A with the total number of 32 students and class B as many as 32 students. The sampling technique in this study was cluster random sampling. Abstract

Penelitian korelasional ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan ada tidaknya hubungan motivasipemilihan program studi dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa mata kuliah bimbingan konseling. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester VI program studi pendidikan matematika tahun akademik2013/2014. Sampel dalam penelitian diambil dengan simple random sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian iniberupa angket motivasi pemilihan program studi pendidikan matematika dan soal hasil belajar matakuliahbimbingan konseling (BK). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi product momentdengan prasyarat normalitas, linearitas dan keberartian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif yangsignifikan motivasi pemilihan program studi dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa mata kuliah bimbingan konseling.Kata Kunci: Pemilihan Program Studi, Hasil Belajar Mata Kuliah, Bimbingan Konseling

Abstract

Proses perubahan konseptual memiliki keterkaitan dengan pemahaman konsep, hal ini melibatkan siswa dalam mengkonstruksi pemahamannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perubahan konseptual siswa dalam memahami konsep fungsi ditinjau dari gaya kognitif field dependent (FD) dan gaya kognitif field independent (FI). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penentuan subjek dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria memiliki kecenderungan terkuat dari masing-masing gaya kognitif field dependent dan field independent, juga memperhatikan pertimbangan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes GEFT, tes pemahaman konsep, dan wawancara. Analisis data dimulai dengan tahap reduksi data, tahap penyajian data, tahap verifikasi, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perubahan konseptual siswa dalam memahami konsep fungsi dengan gaya kognitif field dependent sudah cukup baik, meskipun ada materi yang belum dikuasai oleh siswa dengan baik. Untuk selanjutnya perubahan konseptual siswa dalam memahami konsep fungsi dengan gaya kognitif field independent sudah sangat baik. Siswa memahami materi demi materi yang ada dengan sangat baik. Perubahan konseptual siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent lebih baik dari pada siswa dengan gaya kognitif field dependent.

Abstract

This apparent study is meant to prove the effectiveness of Project based laboratory Learning (PBLL) toward students’ creativity in Statistical Method I subject. The research’s populations are all second semester students from II-B and II-C. Data collection method used in this research are documentation and test. The research instruments are document and question test. The document in this research is used to determine the sample of the research through equilibrium analysis with the data collected from the students’ result of their study in the mathematics for School I for Junior and Senior High School. The test instrument is used to get the data related to students’ creativity. The result of this research shows that PBLL is more effective than direct learning to improve students’ creativity especially in the subject of Statistical method I.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the characteristics of the mental model of elementary school students in understanding the concept of integers. The subjects in this study were selected based on outlier criteria or unique responses to a series of tests given to 30 students of the third grade of elementary school. As a result, two students were chosen as research subjects. The research data were collected through observation and interviews. Observation made by the researchers were direct observations, in which the researchers see and observe the activities of students in doing the test. In addition, the researchers also conducted interviews with research subjects. The results of the students' works were reviewed, and then interviews were conducted to clarify the students' answers. The results showed that the characteristics of elementary school students in understanding integers did not always move from the synthetic stage to the formal stage, but there were lower grade students who were able to solve contextual problems related to integers. The process of forming students' formal mental models can be seen when they solve the temperature rise problem by counting fingers and comparing them with the zero symmetry position between negative and positive integers.
