Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application methods of drill and practice in improving discipline and skill in using hand tools in studying automotive basic work subject class X motorcycle engineering of SMK Negeri 1 Empat Lawang. The type of research and continued with experimental research. The research subjects were class X motorcycle engineering 1 SMK Negeri 1 Empat Lawang, there were 33 students. Data analysis techniques which is used were data average of learning outcome The results of the study showed that and data analysis of t-test. The application of learning methods of drill and practice could improve the skill of hand tools in automotive basic work lesson

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application of the Audio Linggual methods in improving speaking skill. This type of research, totaling 25 students. The research subject were 12th grade light vehicle engineering students totaling 25 students. Data collection techniques use test. The data analysis technique used is the average data of the students persiklus result and data analysis of t-test.. The result of study indicate that the application of the audio lingual method can improve speaking skills in English subject due to 12th grade of vocational school.

Abstract

This study purpose to describe the implementation of the inquiry model in science learning to improve accuracy of students in seventh class in SMPN 05 Lebong, describing the implementation of the inquiry model achievement in seventh class in SMPN 05 Lebong, describing the effectiveness of the implementation inquiry model in improving student science learning achievement of seventh class in SMPN 05 Lebong the research conducted classroom action research combined with quasi- experiment. Subject of this studywas seven one PTK class, seven three experimental class, while class seven four is control class. The instruments used are observation and test sheets. Data analysis techniques use the average formula and t-test, while the observation data are analyzed by difference in score and range of values for each criterion. Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of soft skills and learning achievement of X Pharmacy class students by using an environment- based cooperative learning model in Biology subjects at SMK Negeri 4 Lebong. This study is a Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were 29th grade Pharmacy students of SMK Negeri 4 Lebong which consisted of 29 people consisting of 5 male students and 24 female students. Whereas, the object in this study is soft skills and student learning achievement on Biology subjects conducted through an environment-based cooperative learning model. Retrieval of research data using observation and test sheets. The results of this study indicate that the application of environment-based cooperative learning models can improve soft skills and student achievement in each cycle. On average the soft skills of students in the pre cycle, cycle I, and cycle II were 35.29% respectively; 54.74%; and 66.03%. The percentage of students' mastery learning in the pre cycle, cycle I, and cycle II were 55.17%; 75.86%; and 89.66%. The improvement data then proves that the application of environment-based cooperative learning models can improve soft skills and student achievement in Biology subjects at SMK Negeri 4 Lebong.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities in SMK 4 Lebong, can take place well supported by many factors, one of which is teacher work performance. In SMK 4 Lebong has 27 teachers who are often found teacher performance is not optimal in the teaching process, incompatibility of material taught with Learning Implementation Plans (RPP). Therefore teacher performance has a very important role for education.The aim of the study was to find out the causes of the performance of teachers in 4 Lebong Vocational High Schools were still low and to find out ways to improve teacher performance in SMK 4 Lebong. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Descriptive research method is a research method that describes the actual situation at the time of the research through collecting data which is then interpreted with prestige with each other so that the formulation and analysis of existing problems is obtained. Teacher performance in SMK 4 has been good, but the elements of quality are work, knowledge of work and initiatives that often causes teacher performance to be low. efforts made to improve teacher performance in SMK 4 Lebong based on SWOT analysis are one of them by improving performance based on quantity of work, improving performance based on improving the quality of work, improving performance with improved personal quality.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to enhance student’s cooperation and learning achievement in for Students of X Nurse SMKN 4 Lebong. The research subjects were 22 people students, 11 men and 11 women students. By applying the Implementation of Cooperative Type Make A Match Model. The kind of this research is classroom action research which was conducted in three cycles. Procedure used involves planning, Implementation, observation and reflection. The research instrument that had been used is the test namely the objective test which had been trial the validity and reliability of test and also the observation sheet for observation the learning activity of the students and teacher.To try the significance of student’s cooperation and learning achievement in first to third cycle, it is used t-test, and in first cycle the calculation gained tcount = 2,02. In second cycle the calculation gained ttable = 2,10. And in  third cycle, the calculation gained tcount = 2,30 By comparing the tcount and ttable it is  gained tcount > ttable namely 2,30 > 2,02. Thus, the learning achievement of Sport subject in the first post test at first cycle to third post test in second cycle is significance. So that the learning activity in first post test at first cycle and second post test second cycle is significance also.Based on the result it’s recommended to the teachers in applying the model of Make A Match type according to their owns situation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the Awareness Training learning model to increase student confidence in arts and culture subjects, describe the application of the Awareness Training learning model to improve student achievement and to describe the effectiveness of the application of the Awareness Training learning model in improving learning achievement in IX grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lahat. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) and to determine the effectiveness of the Awareness Training learning model is carried out using the Quasi Experiment research model. Data collection is done by observation and tests. The subjects of Classroom Action Research are students of class IX 5, the determination of the experimental class and the control class by random / random selection, students of class IX 3 as the experimental class, and students of class IX 1 as the control class. Based on research carried out for three cycles the results of the analysis showed a significant increase. It can be concluded that the application of the awareness training model can increase self-confidence, the application of the awareness model can improve student learning achievement, the application of the awareness training learning model can effectively increase the confidence and student achievement in SMP Negeri 1 Lahat.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) describe the application of treffinger model to improve students’ creativity skills. (2) describe the application of treffinger model to improve description writing skills students. This study was carry out using Classroom Action Research (CAR) and quasi-experiment. The subject was VII.3 of SMPN 6 Unggul Lahat as a Classroom Action Research class. The VII.1 as experiment and VII.4 as control class.To collect data, researcherused observation sheets to measure the ability of teachers applying treffinger model and students’ creativity skills, as well as tests to measure improvement in description writing. To analyze data, researcher used an average score analyze and t-test. Based on the results of this research concluded that the application of terffinger model can improve student’ creativity and description writing skills students

Abstract

Hypothesistestingusestwo-wayanalysisofvariance(Anava).Theresultsshowed that(1)Theability towritepoetry textofstudentswithafreeinquiry learningmodel isnodifferentfromguidedinquiry.(2)Theability towritepoetrytextinindependent fieldcognitivestyleishigherthanfielddependent.(3)There isaninteractioneffect betweenthelearning modelandcognitivestyle ontheabilitytowritepoetrytexts.(4) Theabilitytowritepoetrytextin thefieldofindependentcognitivestylestudentsand givenafreeinquirymodelishigherthanguidedinquiry.(5)Theabilitytowrite poetrytextsofstudentswhohaveafielddependentcognitivestyleandaregivena freeinquirylearningmodel arenot different fromguided inquiry.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the application of the Role Playing model in increasing the empathy of class II students of Cluster IV South Bengkulu. (2) Describe the application of the Role Playing model in improving student achievement in class II Cluster IV South Bengkulu. (3) Describe the effectiveness of the application of the role playing model in improving student achievement in class II Cluster IV South Bengkulu. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which is then followed by experiments. The method used is a quasi-experimental method. The subjects of this study were the second grade students of SDN 64 South Bengkulu, which amounted to 17 people. The design at this writing is The Matching Only Pretest-Posttes Control Group Design. The population in this study was class II students in Cluster IV South Bengkulu. The sample in writing is class II SDN 64 Bengkulu Selatan totaling 17 people as the experimental class and class II SDN 58 Bengkulu Selatan as the control class. The instruments used were observation sheets and written test sheets. The results showed that there was an increase in students' empathy and learning achievement by using a role playing model in Civics subjects for grade II students in cluster IV, South Bengkulu.
