Abstract

Education is one of the important components to build Human Resources. This research was conducted to describe the problems of the New Student Admission (PPDB) policy for SMA Zoning system with age selection in DKI Jakarta Province. This research was conducted in October 2020. This research focuses on students who take part in PPDB SMA 2020, especially those who are domiciled in DKI Jakarta. This study used qualitative research methods. However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the research was not carried out directly in the field. Researchers made observations through news mass media and several literature studies as well as collected data from the DKI Jakarta Education Office and data from interviews conducted by asking questions via googleform then distributed to students who had the following criteria: (1) Domicile in DKI Jakarta (2) participated in PPDB High School Year 2020. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the DKI Jakarta Disdik decision regarding the 2020 PPDB which stipulates age selection in the zoning pathway has not yet been implemented on target. Where the purpose of the decision is to create equal distribution of education for students who have a poor economic background. However, from the interviews, 10 out of 13 students did not agree with the decision. The reason is because age selection does not provide fairness to high achieving students and students with younger ages. So that this decision is considered not to prioritize student achievement and does not support competition between students in achieving achievement.Keywords: PPDB Zoning, Problematic

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Rehabilitation Program of Uninhabitable Houses (Rutilahu) is a program of the Karawang Regency Public Housing and Residential Area Office (DPRKP) to increase the number of habitable homes in Karawang Regency aimed at poor households in Karawang Regency, especially those with uninhabitable homes and adequate health sanitation. Rutilahu program implemented in 2016 to 2019 has renovated 5,711 houses in Karawang Regency. This research aims to find out how effective the implementation of the Rutilahu Program by the Karawang Regency PRKP Office (case study in Mekarjati village of West Karawang Subdistrict). The methods used in this study are descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques that researchers conduct using interviews, observations and documentation. Actions in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion withdrawal and verification and using the effectiveness theory of Ni Wayan Budiani which includes the accuracy of program goals, program socialization, program objectives and program monitoring. The results of this study can be known that the effective implementation of the Rutilahu Program by the Karawang Regency PRKP Office (case study in Mekarjati village of West Karawang District) in Karawang Regency has been going quite well. But based on research in the field there are still problems that need to be addressed to improve the results of the Rutilahu program. The advice that researchers can give is to the implementers of the Rutilahu Program to further maximize the implementation of the Rutilahu Program in terms of program goals and program socialization. So that the public can receive information and benefits of the program clearly.Keywords: Effectiveness, Program, Rutilahu

Abstract

Small and medium industries or commonly called IKMs are one of the main pillars for the government to create new jobs and ideas and creativity to produce goods with selling value. SMEs are also an important part of the economy for developing countries including Indonesia. Small and Medium Industry (IKM) is one of the industrial sectors that can be used as a foundation to create an entrepreneurial climate that can absorb labor. Small industry has a strategic position, potential and role in achieving national development goals. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques that the researchers used were interviews, observation and documentation. Actions in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification as well as using Charles O. Jones' theory of policy implementation which includes Organization, Interpretation, and Application. The results of this study can be seen that the implementation of the Small and Medium Industry Development Program (IKM) by the Bekasi Regency Industry Office has been going quite well. However, based on research in the field, there are still problems that need to be addressed in order to increase the development of SMEs in realizing national development goals.Keywords: Development, Economics, Industry

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems contained in the Covid-19 Task Force at the village level, where the village is included in the sub-district with a fairly high level of Covid-19 cases in Karawang Regency. This study aims to identify how to implement the policy of establishing a Covid-19 task force at the village level, especially in Puseurjaya Village, Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach to describe the analysis of policy implementation indicators according to Gorge R. Edward III which can be measured through; (1) Communication, (2) Resources, (3) Disposition, and (4) Bureaucratic Structure through observation data collection techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the policy of establishing a village-level Covid-19 task force in eradicating the Covid-19 virus in Puseurjaya Village, Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang Regency has not been fully effective. This is evidenced by communication that has not been successful because the village government only made the Puseurjaya Village Covid-19 Task Force as many as 25 members but the task force did not work as it should, minimal human resources caused the Puseurjaya Village Covid-19 Task Force to be ineffective in eradicating the Covid-19 virus. and the Puseurjaya Village Covid-19 Task Force is no longer conducting outreach to the public regarding the prevention of the Covid-19 virus. The Covid-19 task force in this village has been declared vacuum starting from January 2021. Keywords: Covid-19, Policy Implementation, Village Government
