Abstract

Student center learning is a learning approach that focuses on students during the teaching and learning process to achieve maximum learning outcomes. In this context, learning outcomes are considered as a measure of the success of an educational program and can help teachers determine effective teaching strategies. This research aims to examine the effect of the student center learning model on physical education learning outcomes. The sample used in this study consisted of 16 students from the Elementary School Teacher Education Program at Triatma Mulya University who participated in the program during the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This study used an experimental method with data collection techniques through tests. The results of the study show that the student center learning model has a significant effect on physical education learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on these findings, it is recommended to develop effective teaching strategies based on the research results to improve physical education learning outcomes through the implementation of the student center learning model.

Abstract

Online games are played through internet connection on various devices, either alone or collaboratively with players from around the world. This research aims to explore the impact of violence in online games on children's behavior and mental health. The research methodology is literature review, using sources from Google Scholar and articles published in Scopus- and Sinta-accredited journals. Violence in online games refers to graphic or action scenes that depict violence, such as weapon fighting, physical violence, harsh language, or other brutal acts. Some games display violence explicitly and realistically, such as blood, broken bones, or sexual violence, while in other games, violence is implicitly and less visible. The presence of violent content in online games may have different impacts on children, but generally can affect their behavior, character, and mental health. Therefore, it is crucial for parents and caregivers to limit the time spent playing online games and choose games that are safe and do not contain violent content for children. The negative impact of violent online games includes increased aggression, reduced empathy, decreased mental health, distraction, and worsened behavior. However, there are also positive impacts of violent online games, such as enhancing social and cognitive skills, improving multitasking ability, and boosting creativity. It is important for parents and caregivers to monitor and regulate their children's online game time, and choose games appropriate for their age and maturity level that do not contain violent content.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Student Center Learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode studi literatur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari artikel-artikel terkait pembelajaran Student Center Learning dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik meta-analisis untuk mengetahui secara kuantitatif pengaruh model pembelajaran Student Center Learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Student Center Learning memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi institusi pendidikan dalam pengembangan kurikulum dan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

In order for the body to perform biological activities including physical growth, development, exercise, maintaining health, and others, there must be a balance between the nutrients that are consumed and those that are needed by the body. Riskesdas reports an increase in the prevalence of obesity and wasting among teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18. In this study, it will be determined whether there is a connection between female students' nutritional status, eating habits, and physical activity. using the aid of a cross-sectional study strategy. There were 85 pupils in the research sample. Using the chi-square statistical test, univariate and bivariate analysis of the data was performed. According to the findings, 65.4% of female students used relatively little energy. The bivariate analysis revealed that body image (p = 0.037), energy consumption (p = 0.001), carbohydrate intake (p = 0.002), protein intake (p = 0.000), and fat intake (p = 0.000) were the factors that were most strongly associated with the nutritional status of female students

Abstract

Learning motivation plays a crucial role in all aspects of education. Therefore, this research aims to determine the impact of understanding the Word of God on students' learning motivation within the context of a Theological College. The Word of God holds a key role in cultivating students' learning motivation, as it is understood as the voice of God. The Word of God is also used for educating in truth, rebuking, and improving the lives of every individual. The objectives of this study are to understand the influence of understanding the Word of God on learning motivation, to determine the significance between learning motivation and student achievement in the Theological College environment, and to explore the influence of students' understanding of the Word of God on the improvement of learning quality within the Theological College. This research utilizes a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The method not only mentions the research itself but also includes the subjects/objects and analysis. The study results indicate that students who rely on the Word of God will experience an impact on their learning motivation and achievement. Therefore, to enhance the quality of Theological students' learning motivation, students must have a good ability to rely on the Word of God to create a compelling and optimal learning atmosphere, thus improving the quality of education in the Theological College.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana industri kreatif diimplementasikan pada pelajaran produk kreatif dan kewirausahaan (PKK) di SMK, dan manfaat industri kreatif bagi peserta didik SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam riset ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket, dan analisis dokumen. Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan analisis interaktif dari Miles and Huberman. Untuk uji keabsahan data menggunakan Triangulasi metode dan sumber. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) gambaran industri kreatif dalam pelajaran produk kreatif dan kewirausahaan di SMK, dan 2) mengetahui manfaat industri kreatif bagi peserta didik di SMK. Dalam penelitian, peserta didik mampu mempelajari perkembangan pelajaran produk kreatif dan kewirausahaan baik jika peserta didik mengikuti pelajaran tersebut. Selain hal tersebut bisa dipahami bahwa pembelajaran kewirausahaan butuh kompetensi yang sebenarnya. Diharapkan industri kreatif bisa dikaitkan dengan pelajarankewirausahaan, dan bisa dipahami bahwa pesertadidik maupun tenaga pengajar SMK harus memahami serta memanfaatkan industri kreatif pada pelajaran produk kreatif dan kewirausahaan (PKK).

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of the micro role playing method can improve students' adjustment abilities to the environment in the RA Muslimat NU 100 Bediwetan Ponorogo Playgroup. In addition, this study also aims to find out how effective the application of the micro role playing method is in increasing students' adjustment to the environment in the RA Muslimat NU 100 Bediwetan Ponorogo Playgroup. The research that will be carried out by researchers is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Researchers will use an action research approach with a spiral model formulated by Stephen Kemmis in David Hopkins. The subjects of this study were students aged 3-4 years in the RA Muslimat NU Playgroup 100 Bediwetan Ponorogo, with a focus on class A2 which consisted of 14 students (9 boys and 5 girls). As for quantitative data analysis, there are other statistical analysis techniques such as regression analysis, factor analysis, and multivariate analysis. The micro role playing method is carried out with steps that have been formulated or can be carried out by the students themselves. The results of this work This method provides a stimulus for students to achieve goals, such as self-confidence, good interactions with others, empathy for friends, and a sense of discipline. The application of the micro role playing method can improve students' adjustment abilities to the environment in the group.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of independent factors (employee behavior and work environment) on the dependent factor (employee efficiency) both separately and together, with employee commitment acting as the mediating factor. The participants for this study were chosen through a saturated sampling method, including the entire population, and consisted of seventy educators. The theoretical framework for this research was evaluated using path analysis methods, considering the previously conducted correlation and regression analyses. The findings of this study indicate that employee conduct has an influence on employee loyalty, workplace atmosphere has an influence on employee loyalty, employee conduct and workplace atmosphere collectively impact employee loyalty, employee conduct has an influence on employee productivity, workplace atmosphere has an influence on employee productivity, employee loyalty has an influence on employee productivity, employee conduct, workplace atmosphere, and employee loyalty collectively influence employee productivity, employee conduct affects employee productivity through employee loyalty, and workplace atmosphere affects employee productivity through employee loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning using Experiential learning model based on creative industry with conventional learning in Creative Product and Entrepreneurship subject in Vocational High School (VHS). This type of research is experimental research, a quasi type with pre-test and post-test group design. The population in this study of the subjects were Vocational High School Students (VHS) in Surakarta at school year of 2023/2024. Data collection methods in this research used observation, questionnaire, test and document analysis. Data analysis of this study used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Tests used the t test, before the implementation of the t test, there was a prerequisite test that was normality and homogeneity test, continued the balance test using the t test in the pre-test of the control group and the Experiment group. The result showed that there were significant differences in the mastery of knowledge competencies in Creative Product and Entrepreneurship lessons between students taught using Experiential learning models based on creative industries compared to students taught using conventional methods. The results are shown by t count 6.40 > t table 2.002, while for p value 0.00 <0.05. The conclusion is learning using Experiential learning models based on creative industries has an effect on learning outcomes for students in Creative Product and Entrepreneurship lessons in VHS.

Abstract

The role of the Christian Religious Education teacher has an important role in helping the spiritual growth of students in the educational sphere. The role of the Christian Religion teacher is basically very much needed and has a large correlation to the behavior of students. The role of religious teachers is very important in the life of mankind, especially Christians. Religious education, more specifically Christian religious education is very important to be applied in increasing spiritual potential, thereby helping students to become human beings who believe and obey God. Based on the results of this study, teachers need to pay attention to every day behavior of their students and always be wise and act especially in terms of the role of the Christian Religion teacher.
