Abstract

This study aims to find out students about learning media. This study used qualitative research methods. The data source for this research came from interviews with 1 teacher and 4 students at SMPN 3 Painan, while the methods used in data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation. With this method it is expected to obtain the data needed in the research, so as to obtain concrete data that fits the needs of the research conducted at SMPN 3 Painan. The subjects of this study were students at SMPN 3 Painan. The results of this study, both from the results of interviews and observations made during research at SMPN 3 Painan, show that the use of instructional media in class was well planned by the teacher concerned. The use of learning media used by the teacher is not only on one daily test, midterm or even the end of the semester but the teacher always uses learning media in every learning process. The use of learning media is very important and good to apply in classroom learning, because using learning media is more developed on technological issues. Then the media used is in accordance with learning because it is taken from the internet and books. While the perception of students in the use of learning media is the perception of the use of learning media that can describe something abstract in accordance with their experiences during learning. Students understand more about learning not only verbally because a lot of material is only verbalistic, and the teacher only explains it, using the media the teacher can describe something abstract, not just explain it, so that students really understand learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the development, feasibility and practicality of Learning Media Development Using Sparkol Videoscribe on Students' Learning Motivation in Geography Subjects at SMA N 4 Bukittinggi.The type of research used in this research is research and development (Research and Development). The 4D model includes 4 stages, namely: Define, Design, Development, Desiminate. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 1 and Class XI IPS 4 who took part in the geography learning process at SMA N 4 Bukittinggi in the academic year 2021/2022, with a total of 64 students.The results of the study found that: 1.) The development of the sparkol videoscribe learning media included validation from experts, namely media experts, education experts, and linguists. So that the media validation data is obtained and then processed with the Interaclass Coefitien Correlation (ICC) formula assisted by processing using the SPSS version 22 application for Windows, the result is 0.868. if the value is more than 0.5, it can be concluded that the level of validation is adequate. 2.) The sparkol videoscribe learning media was declared very feasible after analyzing data processing using Microsoft Excel so that the total score was 174 with a mean level of 4.37 and a percentage level of 87% with the predicate "Very Good". 3.) The sparkol videoscrieb learning media was declared practical after processing the research data obtained from the questionnaire, and a practical test was carried out so that a total score of 3875 was obtained with a mean level of 4.15 and a percentage of 83% in the "Very Practical" category.  Keywords: Appropriateness, Practicality, Sparkol videoscribe.

Abstract

The development of E-Learning-Based Learning Media Using Chamilo at SMA Negeri 13 Padang was motivated by the lack of use of e-learning learning media in the teaching and learning process.The purpose of this study was to determine the results of expert validation, teacher responses, student responses and the practicality of media at SMA Negeri 13 Padang. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 13 Padang. The data analysis technique used in this research is validation analysis using ICC, Teacher Response, Student Response and Practicality.The results of the study show that: 1.) Making e-learning learning media using chamilo includes validation by experts in the fields of media, education, information technology and language. In order to obtain media validation data and process it using the Intereclass Coefficient Correlation (ICC) formula assisted by the SPSS program, the result is 0.934. If the result is more than 0.50, the validation level is considered appropriate. 2.) The results of the geography teacher's response at SMA Negeri 13 Padang are expressed in terms of an average score of 94% belonging to the very interested category. 3.) The results of student responses in the small group trial obtained an average percentage of 77% while in the large group trial the average percentage was 77.5%. 4.) and the practicality of the media obtained a percentage score of 88% with the category "very practical". This shows that the e-learning-based learning media that has been developed can be used in SMA Negeri 13 Padang. Kata Kunci : E-Learning, Chamilo, Media, Development

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the development, validity and practicality of the Domino Card learning media on the subject of knowing the location of residence for class VII SMP Negeri 3 Palembayan.This study uses the type of research and development (Research and Development). The subjects of this research are the seventh grade students at SMPN 3 Palembayan in the 2022/2023 academic year. The data analysis techniques used in this study are validation analysis using ICC, validity analysis, and practicality analysis.The results of the study show that: 1.) Making Domino card learning media involves validation by experts in the fields of Media, Education and Materials. After obtaining media validation data and processing it using the Interaclass Coefitien Correlation (ICC) formula assisted by the SPSS program, the result is 0.889. If the validation result is more than 0.50, then the validation level is considered valid. 2.) After processing research data collected from questionnaires, and conducting practicality tests, a total score of 1.134 was obtained with an average level of 4.36 and a percentage of 87.23% in the "Very Practical" category. 3.) After evaluating data processing using Microsoft Excel, domino card learning media can increase student interest in learning. The results of student interest in learning in the control class with a total score of 2064, an average of 3.3024 with a percentage of 82.56%, while students' interest in learning in the experimental class obtained a total score of 2371, an average of 3.6477 with a percentage of 91.19%. Keywords : Development, Domino Card, Learning Media

Abstract

ABSTRAKAnggi Hastari (18030023) Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Audio Visual (Slide Show Animation) terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa dalam Mata Pelajaran IPS di Kelas VII SMPN 35 Kerinci.Skripsi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat.            Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi pada permasalahan minat belajar siswa yang rendah. Minat belajar merupakan aspek penting dalam sebuah pembelajaran karena sebagai proses akhir dari sebuah pembelajaran. Dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, guru hendaknya menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang tepat diantaranya yaitu dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran.Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka peneliti tertarik melakukan peneitian dengan judul : Pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual (slide show animation) terhadap minat belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS kelas VII di SMPN 35 Kerinci.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain nonquivalent control group. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik uji-t. populasi pada penelitian ini adalah kelas VII dengan sampel 50 Orang dibagi menjadi 25 siswa dikelas kontrol dan 25 siswa di kelas eksperimen. Instrument penelitian yang dilakukan adalah tes dan angket dengan 30 butir pernyataan.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, angket, dokumentasi, observasi.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Uji Hipotesis menggunakan Uji analisis regresi linier sederhana dan uji-t.Berdasarkan analisis data, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual (slide show animation) berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 35 Kerinci dengan nilai signifikasi 0,045 < 0,05. Dengan demikian Hipotesis diterima semuanya.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada masyarakat di Korong Sijangek Nagri Sungai Durian antara lain: 1) Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan, 2) Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait keuntungan dari pemanfaatan pekarangan, dan 3) Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tegkait gagasan kreatif dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya sosialisasi peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan sebagai upaya untuk menambah perekonomiaan keluarga. Sosialisasi terlaksana jika ada kerjasama dengan mitra yang ada di korong Sijangek Adapun mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah wali nagari Sungai Durian. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang terjadi di Korong Sijangek adalah:1) Melakukan sosialisasi dalam peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan, 2) Melakukan simulasi terkait keuntungan dari pemanfaatan pekarangan, 3) Memberikan pemahaman tentang gagasan kreaktif dalam memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan. Hasil PKM peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan pekarangan adalah:1) Meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan dapat mengartikan, menafsirkan, menerjemahkan, atau menyatakan sesuatu dengan caranya sendiri tentang pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan 2) Meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait keuntungan dari pemanfaatan pekarangan dapat mengurangi pengeluaran untuk konsumsi pangan dan 3) Terciptanya pemahaman masyarakat tegkait gagasan kreatif dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan di Korong Sijangek dapat memunculkan gagasan yang inovatif dalam memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan.

Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran mind map (peta konsep) adalah cara kreatif bagi siswa secara individual untuk menghasilkan ide-ide dan mencatat pelajaran dengan kreatif masing-masing sehingga siswa akan menemukan kemudahan untuk mengidentifikasi secara jelas dan kreatif apa yang telah dipelajari dan apa yang sedang mereka rencanakan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di sekolah mitra, guru masih menggunakan model pembelajaran yang masih terkesan monoton, sehingga motivasi siswa untuk mengikuti pembelajaran menurun. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan pada lokasi mitra adalah di SMA Taman Siswa dan SMK Taman Siswa Padang. Acara berjalan dengan lancar dan diikuti oleh 14 orang peserta. Output dari kegiatan adalah 10 buah RPP berdasarkan KTSP 2006 dengan memakai strategi pembelajaran peta konsep yang sudah dibuat peserta dan sesuai dengan kegiatan pelatihan yang sudah dilakukan. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu; 1) Pelatihan dan workshop terkait dengan pengimplementasikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi peta konsep dalam perencanaan dan proses pembelajaran. 2) Pelatihan penyusunan RPP sesuai format KTSP 2006 dengan langkah pembelajaran menggunakan strategi peta konsep. 3) Penerapan strategi peta konsep dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dalam kelas. PKM ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru-guru sekolah mitra, karena program ini bisa meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para guru dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran peta konsep.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the effect of the Window Shopping learning model in school inscreasing student geography learning activities at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The low learning activity of student in learning, especially in geography subjects in class XI IPS at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru, Riau Province. This research was conducted in order to find out the results of the influence of the Window Shopping learning model which is expected tobe able to increase student learning activities in geography subjects. This research method is quantitative. The type of research is quasi experiment. The technique used in sampling is random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was the observation sheet which was carried out during the geography lesson. The population is all students of class XI IPS at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru for the 2022/2023 academic year. The samples taken were class XI IPS 2 as an experimental class with 35 students. The results showed that the hypothesis was accepted, which means that the geography learning activities of the experimental group using the Window Shopping learning model were more able to increase students geography learning activities compared to the geography learning activities in the control group using conventional methods. Keywords: geography learning activities; learning model; window shoppingDOI: 10.23960/jlg.v4.i2. 28314

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of variety of media in learning. Students are less motivated in the teaching and learning process and there are obstacles in the delivery of learning material and are often found in learning outcomes that are < from KKM. This study aims to see the effect of using the Think Pair Square Cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of Geography students in class XI SMAN 2 Solok Selatan. The use of the Think Pair Cooperative learning model turned out to make students more enthusiastic in responding to the model applied by the researcher. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental research type. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan for the 2023/2024 academic year. Class XI IPS 1 control class, XI IPS 2 experimental class. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical technique and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the research results, the control class average was 79.48 and the experimental class average was 86.89. Based on the t-test conducted on the two sample class learning outcomes, the t value was 5,945 with sig 0.000 <0.005. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the think pair square Cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of Geography class XI students at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low motivation of students to learn and the selection of learning media used by teachers in the learning process is considered less appropriate and the management of learning activities that still cannot generate optimal student learning motivation. This study aims to determine and analyze data on the application of Kahoot application-based learning media to student learning motivation in Geography subjects at SMAN 1 Bonjol. The type of research used is a type of quasi-experiment research. The population in this study amounted to 134 students. The sample in the study of class XI IPS 1 as a control class, and class XI IPS IPS 3 as an experimental class. The instruments used in this study were a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis techniques used are the questionnaire validity test and questionnaire reliability and analysis requirements test. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded based on the results of the t-test of 2,108 with a significant value of 0.04 <0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted so that the data can be concluded that there is an effect of Kahoot learning media on geography learning motivation of class XI students of SMAN 1 Bonjol. AbstrakPenelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa dan pemilihan media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru pada proses pembelajaran dinilai kurang tepat dan pengelolaan kegiatan pembelajaran yang masih belum dapat membangkitkan motivasi belajar siswa secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis data penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Kahoot terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Geografi di SMAN 1 Bonjol. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian quasi experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 134 siswa. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas kontrol, kelas XI IPS IPS 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar angket. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah uji validitas angket dan realiabilitas angket serta uji persyaratan analisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka diperoleh kesimpulan berdasarkan hasil uji t sebesar 2.108 dengan nilai signifikan 0,04 < 0,05, artinya Ha diterima sehingga data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh media pembelajaran kahoot terhadap motivasi belajar geografi siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Bonjol.
