Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulties experienced by students in solving questions on heat material with Polya’s theory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 28 students of class XI IPA4 SMA Negeri 4 Kota Kupang. The reseach instrument used were test questions and questionnaires. The results shown in this study, namely the difficuly of solving problems with polya’s theory, show that there are 67% of students having difficultyin in understanding the ploblems, 43% of students having difficulties in making plans, 67% of students experiencing problems in carrying out planning solutions to problems that have been solved. Made and 87% of students experienced problems in the re-checking stage.

Abstract

The Physics Education study program, Nusa Cendana University, already has a web-based study program information system but it has not been managed optimally, as evidenced by the limited availability of study program data on the web. This study aims to identify the data needed to be developed into useful information, not only for the academic community of the Physics Education undergraduate study program, Nusa Cendana University, but for society in general. The method used is to carry out an issue analysis based on APKL and USG techniques. The results of the identification of issues were then consulted with stakeholders, in this case the dean of the Teaching and Education Faculty, and the coordinator of the Physics Education Study Program. The data obtained is then made into a graphic design or linked to a menu available on the web, so that it becomes useful information. Abstract

ABSTRACT Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) is one of the integrated components of the TPACK approach. TCK is a component that integrates understanding of concepts, principles and theories in certain fields of science, with an understanding of technology so that it can produce fun technology-based learning models or media. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the ability of prospective teachers in designing appropriate and fun physics learning media. This research is an observational descriptive research with a case study approach. The instruments used in this study were written test questions and observation sheets containing nine TCK indicators. Respondents were asked to work on written test questions on energy material, then respondents were asked to design learning media for the topics studied. The results showed that all respondents (100%) had a good understanding and ability to utilize technology. In contrast, only some respondents (56%) were considered to have a good understanding and ability in the concept of energy. For the TCK integration component, most (74%) received a good assessment from the observer. The results of this study serve as reflection material for efforts to improve the understanding of basic physics concepts for prospective teacher students.
