Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of problem solving based skill life skills. This research was conducted at PKBM Sinar Lentera which is located at Jl. Kp. RT RT. 04 Rw. 08 Ex. Pagerbatu Kec. Majasari Pandeglang Regency Banten with a sample of respondents who were sources of information from the PKBM chair, learning residents, and tutors. The research method used is research and development which is divided into three stages, namely: 1) qualitative description analysis. Each research subject was collected through the Social Problem Solving Inventory-Revised instrument. The indicators in the instrument are: (1) unproductive problem solving techniques and helpless attitudes towards problem solving, (2) effective & systematic problem solving techniques. The results of this study are in general it can be concluded that the skill of life skills based on problem solving in PKBM Sinar Lentera is in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate of the factors in the emergence of social prejudice student groups. The subjects of this study were student grade junior high school VIII.1 232 Jakarta, consisting of 38 students. They are a group of people on a small scale that represents some ethnic elements. The sampling technique is done by using the technique of sampling convinience. Measuring tool used is a semantic differential scale is an instrument to measure the response of the aspects of affective. The results showed that social prejudices on the subject is at the level of medium and low. In addition, the student social prejudice caused more by prejudices that are more personal and social nature. The emergence of prejudice is caused by cultural differences and the social distance between different ethnic groups.

Abstract

The purpose of the BK career service at school is for students to know (describe) self-characteristics (interests, values, abilities and personality traits) from which all learners can identify areas of study and career appropriate With him, students gain an understanding of things related to the career world in which they are included, learners are able to identify various areas of education available that are relevant with various fields of work. There is a career in junior high School (SMP) there is a stage of growth in career selection based on individual stages of development, and preparing students early so as not to experience mistakes in future careers. In Donald E. Super's theory of age growth (0-14 years) begins physical and psychological growth, at this stage individuals begin to form attitudes and behavioural mechanisms that will then become important in their concepts. While the exploration phase of age (15-18 years) This stage began since the individual realized that the work is an aspect of human life. Individuals think of various career alternatives, but have not yet taken binding decisions. At this stage individuals begin to conduct self-study to try different roles, as well as to perform job browsing. The role of career guidance and counseling as an integrated as an ability and intellectual skill and special skills up to the maturity of a specific career. The presence of a Career guidance service program is to prepare, introduce, and provide information to students.

Abstract

The implementation of the Donald E. Super vocational education theory is directed towards graduates having professional insight that can affect quality which has four aspects of planning, exploration, informational competence, and decision making. In the age phase of SMK graduates around 18-21 years is a transition period from tentative professional vocational towards specific vocational preferences. Vocational students have characteristics of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, moral, and religious aspects. The career guidance work program at the Vocational School begins with preparation which includes assessing needs, obtaining support from the principal, and establishing the basis for program planning. Preparation of the annual counseling program includes rational, legal basis, vision and mission, description of needs, objectives, program components, service areas, operational plans, theme development, evaluation plans, infrastructure, and cost budgets, Develop activity plans covering competency standard objectives, classes, program components, service strategies, materials, methods, media, evaluation and equivalents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh dukungan keluarga dan efikasi diri terhadap kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 131 siswa kelas 10 SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Korelasi Product Moment dari Person. Hasil korelasi antara variabel dukungan keluarga dan pengambilan keputusan karier menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0.414 yang artinya saat dukungan keluarga tinggi maka kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier akan rendah begitu pun sebaliknya. Hasil korelasi antara variabel efikasi diri dan pengambilan keputusan karier menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0.614 yang artinya saat efikasi diri tinggi maka kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier akan rendah begitu pun sebaliknya. Hasil korelasi antara variabel efikasi diri dan pengambilan keputusan karier menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0.637. yang artinya saat dukungan keluarga dan efikasi diri tinggi maka kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier akan rendah begitu pun sebaliknya

Abstract

The results of the guidance and counseling program audit also need to be socialized so that the program runs well and gets encouragement from other teacher personnel. To establish a quality guidance and counseling service program there needs to be a foundation or basis for formulating a program that fits the needs of students, so it is necessary to have stages of planning, dissemination of student needs, and program audits before being implemented to determine the extent to which the program has been implemented and be attained. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive with the type of survey. The survey method is intended to obtain data from the description of the implementation of a guidance and counseling management system in State Vocational Schools in Jakarta City in particular. Out of the three schools audited the results of the programs carried out by Jakarta Vocational High Schools 6, Jakarta Vocational High Schools 29, and Jakarta Vocational High Schools  41 not running optimally

Abstract

Manajemen bimbingan konseling yang dibuat secara sistematis akan menciptakan layanan bimbingan konseling yang efektif dan efisien bagi peserta didik. Salah satunya dengan cara dibuatnya program bimbingan konseling yang jelas, terorganisir dan rasional. Namun dalam membuat program bimbingan konseling, terdapat beberapa kendala diantaranya adalah minimnya anggaran untuk kegiatan bimbingan konseling di sekolah, minimnya keterampilan yang dimiliki guru bimbingan konseling dalam merencanakan program bimbingan konseling. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran manajemen bimbingan konseling, kelebihan serta kekurangan program di tiap sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil temuan diatas hanya SMPN 259 melaksanakan manajemen program layanan bimbingan konseling lebih baik atau unggul dibanding yang lainnya. Masing-masing program memiliki kelemahan dan kelebihan dan mungkin jika disatukan akan menjadi program yang lebih baik. AbstractManagement of guidance counseling is systematically created effective and efficient guidance counseling services for students. One of them is by making a clear, organized and rational guidance counseling program. However, in making guidance counseling programs, there are several obstacles including the lack of budget for counseling guidance activities in schools, the lack of skills possessed by school counselor in planning guidance counseling programs. This research was conducted to determine the description of management of guidance counseling, advantages and disadvantages of the program in each school. This research uses a descriptive method. Based on the above findings, only SMPN 259 implements better counseling program management services or guidance compared to the others. Each program has weaknesses and strengths and if united would be better program.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah menghadirkan tantangan dan hambatan karir khususnya bagi mahasiswa semester akhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi adaptabilitas karir pada mahasiswa semester akhir selama pandemi covid-19, yang melibatkan 145 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta Semester 6,7 dan 8 yang direkrut dengan teknik snowball sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan di adaptasi dari Career Adapt-Abilities Scale, yang dikembangkan oleh Savickas & Porfeli (Porfeli & Savickas, 2012), terdiri dari 24 item yang dibagi menjadi 4 dimensi utama yaitu career concern, career control, career curiosity, dan career confidence, pilihannya dalam bentuk 5 poin skala likert yaitu 5 = strongest, 4 = very strong, 3 = strong, 2 = somewhat strong dan 1 = not strong. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang dibantu dengan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa semester 6,7 dan 8 di Universitas Negeri Jakarta berada pada kategori sedang dengan skor rata-rata 96.14, hal ini menandakan bahwa mahasiswa semester akhir telah memiliki karakteristik concern, control, curiosity dan confident. Dampaknya adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa mengalami perubahan yang signifikan karena covid-19 membuat mereka harus bisa beradaptasi dengan ketidakstabilan dan ketidakpastian karir yang terjadi saat ini maupun di masa depan.

Abstract

Lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang disiapkan untuk memasuki dunia kerja nyatanya menyumbang angka pengangguran tertinggi di Indonesia pada tahun 2020. Tingginya angka tersebut diduga karena kurangnya pengetahuan akan karier yang perlu disiapkan saat lulus sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa implementasi teori kepribadian karier Holland di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang lulusannya disiapkan untuk bekerja perlu memahami betul esensi karier bagi peserta didik. Teori Holland sebagai salah satu teori karier yang bisa membantu mereka menentukan arah kariernya Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpukan sumber-sumber yang relevan dengan judul yang ditentukan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Holland dirasa sangat membantu penyelenggaraan layanan Bimbingan Karier di sekolah jika diberikan kepada peserta didik dengan cara yang tepat. Melalui analisa minat, tipe kepribadian dan lingkungan kerja yang sesuai dengan tipe kepribadian peserta didik. Selain itu, kerjasama yang baik antara guru, orang tua dan peserta didik itu sendiri akan berdampak pada kecocokan dan kestabilan pemilihan karier peserta didik di masa depan.

Abstract

This research aims to map the students’ personality profile in the guidance and Counseling Department, School of Education, State University of Jakarta. The research, conducted as from July through September 2008, belongs to descriptive research with quantitative approach. The total population covered 107 regular students registered at the Department in 2008. The samples were appointed by using proporsional random sampling technique. The data were collected applying Mini Markers anquete and anylized statistically. The results indicate, based on Big Five Personality theory the prominant personality character is agreeableness and the lowest is carefulness.
