Abstract

This study aims (1) to find out the implementation of character education, obstacles to the implementation process and solutions to the process of implementing character education through civic education subjects in Makassar State High School. This type of research is qualitative descriptive in the State of Makassar State High School with school head informants, PPKN teachers BK teachers and grade X students at Makassar State High School. The focus of research on the character of discipline, courtesy, hard work, responsibility and honesty in class X in Makassar Jaya State High School. Data sources used are primary data sources in the form of interviews and secondary data sources in the form of documents. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that (1) the implementation of character education through civic education subjects in Makassar State High School is carried out by the teacher through three stages, namely the planning, implementation and assessment stages (2) as for the inhibiting factors experienced by the teacher in implementing character education namely, lack of awareness of students in: obeying rules, student motivation for learning and student awareness of tasks and responsibilities (3) efforts made by the teacher to overcome these obstacles, namely by way of example, set an example for time discipline and obey regulations, giving equal attention to all students and punish students who break the rules.Keywords : Implementation, Character Education, Citizenship Education

Abstract

The main problem in this study is that Tallo MTs Muhammadiyah is a religion-based school, but students often make irregularities that do not reflect the religious character of the school's characteristics. The research method used is a qualitative method and determines the informant by purposive sampling. The technique of analyzing data is through various stages, namely data reduction, data analysis, and conclusion drawing. While the data validity technique uses source, time, method triangulation. The results of the study show that character deviations occur due to (1) social environment factors, family economic factors, and personality factors or character of the students themselves. (2) Forms of student irregularities, namely truancy, smoking in class, violations of discipline such as using a cellphone while studying, using language that is not polite, using clothes that are not neat, and going out / leaving without permission honest, disciplined, religious, and responsible. (3) Implications for learning, namely the principal increases discipline, both teacher and student views and achievements that are not good for students who often do deviations. (4) School efforts by providing understanding and exposure to students about moral values in life (moral knowing) and providing motivation to instill confidence and enthusiasm for achievement (moral feeling) and carry out activities based on character education (moral behavior / action.Keywords: Education, Character, Student Deviation

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the level of legal awareness of the Pambusuang Village community towards Islamic inheritance law, and to know the factors that hinder the legal awareness of the community of Pamusuang village towards Islamic inheritance law. The research method used in this study is qualitative field research with an empirical legal approach. In this study using two data sources namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Methods of data collection in research using observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that public legal awareness of the application of Islamic inheritance law in Pambusuang Village, Balanipa Subdistrict tended to impose Islamic inheritance law, although there were still those who joined Islamic inheritance law and customary inheritance law (musyawarah), while the factors that hampered community legal awareness in Pambusuang Village, Balanipa Subdistrict towards the application of Islamic inheritance law namely education factor, its own public awareness factor, the factor of Customary Distribution / Deliberation is considered Fair and the factor is the lack of government role in Pambusuang Village, Balanipa District.Keywords : Community Law Awareness, Islamic inheritance law.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) Compliance of students with respect to discipline in the SMP. 2 Barombong, 2) Efforts made by the school to foster student compliance with the discipline in the SMP. 2 Barombong. To achieve these objectives, the researchers used the technique of collecting data through documentation, observation, and interviews. Data that has been obtained from the results of the research are processed 1. Compliance of students with respect to discipline in the Public High School. 2 Barombong 2. Efforts made by the school to foster student adherence to discipline in the SMP. 2 Barombong. This is evidenced by the average student in the SMP. 2 Barombong has obeyed the existing rules so that not many violations occur, while the violations that sometimes arise are only for minor types of violations (not wearing white and white uniforms on Mondays). The factors that form the basis of students' obedience to school discipline are Hedonist, and the type of compliance that belongs to the Hedonist Conformist. 2) Efforts made by schools to foster student compliance with school discipline are divided into 2, namely: 1) Pre-incentive Efforts, which consist of giving / delivering socialization about the importance of student compliance with school discipline, incidental inspection, structuring canteen location. 2) Repressive efforts, which consist of providing strict sanctions against violators, increasing cooperation between BK teachers and homeroom teachers, and supervising individuals (strict supervision / control).Keywords : Analysis, Compliance, School Rules and Students

Abstract

Pancasila education and citizenship is a planned business and is a continuous process. The large number of shifts in the lives of Indonesian students is currently a very important problem for education in Indonesia. This study aims to: (1) analyze the implementation of PPKn learning in student character formation, and (2) find out the challenges faced by PPKn teachers in forming the character of students of Makassar 1 Muhammadiyah Middle School. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. Data source samples were taken using Purposive sampling technique. Research variables include the implementation of PPKn learning and student character. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of the study indicate that First, the implementation of PPKn learning carried out by the teacher in the class has included character values; Second, the factors that inhibit character formation are students 'lack of understanding of character, lack of PPKn lesson hours, and students' self awareness; Third, how to minimize obstacles, namely to provide understanding and examples to students about character values, increase PPKn lesson hours in schools, and foster awareness in students about the importance of character.Keywords : Learning Implementation, PPKn, Student Character.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the role of PPKn teachers in dealing with students' bullying behavior at Tinambung 2 Public High School in Pambusuang District, Polewali Mandar District, West Sulawesi Province. This study aims to determine the role of PPKn teachers in dealing with students' bullying behavior at Tinambung 2 Public High School in Pambusuang District, Polewali Mandar District, West Sulawesi Province. This type of research is an experiment consisting of two variables where there is a test given to the control class (before treatment) and the experimental class (after treatment). The method of data collection consists of three ways, namely: questionnaire, interview and documentation. The sample in this study was class VIII students. C and class VIII.D as many as 25 people each class. The results of the study show that, from the results of the independent test T-test samples (t test) it is known that the significance value of 0.123 ≥ 0.05, there is a significant value between the control class (before treatment) and the experimental class (after treatment). So to test the hypothesis it can be seen from the significance of two tailled, namely Ho is accepted if sig. 2 tailled ≥ 0.05 and Ho is rejected if sig. 2 tailled ≤ 0.05. So the hypothesis of this study was accepted because the value of sig 2 tailled ≥ 0.05 is (0.123 ≥ 0.05). So in this study the role of PPKn teachers in handling bullying behaviors of students at Tinambung 2 Public High School was done.Keywords : Role, teacher, Bullying behavior

Abstract

The problems in this study are (1) What is the PPKn Learning Process in Gowa Batara High School? and (2) Is there any influence of Discovery Learning-Based PPKn learning on learning outcomes in high school students of class X IPA Batara Gowa ?. This study aims at (1) to find out the PPKn learning process in class X of Batara Gowa High School Science and (2) to determine the effect of PPKn learning based on Discovery Learning on learning outcomes of class X IPA SMA Batara Gowa students. The research method used in this study is an experimental method with a form of research, which is a quasi-experimental (quasi experimental design) and a research design that is used is a technique of collecting data in the form of observation and learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is the technique of analyzing the data of test results and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the Discovery Learning learning model can be improved on the learning outcomes of students in Batara Gowa High School Science X class based on the calculation of pretest and posttest test data analysis using t count X, Y, d, and d2, namely the total X value of 1.130 % and the average value of 51.36%. While the value of Y is 1.560%, with an average value of 70.90%. For the value of d with the amount of 420 with an average value of 19.09 and for the value of d2 with the number 12,200% with an average value of 554.54%. So there is an influence on the differences in the average learning outcomes of students who use the Discovery Learning learning model with the average student learning outcomes.Keywords : Learning, Discovery Learning and Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan karakter melalui pembelajaran Matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 13 Solok Selatan pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 13 SOLOK SELATAN dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) dengan melalui empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah model pembelajaran (Think Pair Share) TPS. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan deskripif dengan mean (rata-rata) dan persentase kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu secara jujur, mandiri dan bertanggungjawab. Hasil penelitian dari penerapan model pembelajaran TPS pada mata pelajaran Matematika kelas VIII SMPN 13 Solok Selatan cenderung meningkat, pencapaian nilai karakter jujur, mandiri dan bertanggung jawab selama dua siklus menunjukkan kualifikasi karakter Menjadi Kebiasaan (MK). Hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran matematika juga meningkat dari siklus I termasuk dalam kualifikasi baik menjadi amat baik pada siklus II.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of social interaction between Local Ethnicity and Chinese Ethnicity in the city of Makassar, to find out the impact of local social and ethnic Chinese interactions in conflict prevention in Makassar City and also to know the role of the government in the process of social interaction in preventing inter-ethnic conflict in Makassar city. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques are interviews, documentation and observations. The data analysis technique was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of this study indicate that the form of social interaction between Local Ethnicity and Chinese Ethnicity in Makassar City is cooperation, competition, accommodation and assimilation. Social interactions that occur between Local Ethnicity and Chinese Ethnicity cause social impacts which are positive impacts that lead to cooperation and negative impacts that lead to conflict or conflict. The government plays a very important role in reducing and resolving the turmoil that has the potential for conflict by negotiating, mediating and facilitating.Keywords : Social Interaction, Local Ethnicity, Chinese Ethnicity and Prevention Conflict

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang penggunaan media gambar dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila pada anak usia dini. Berdasarkan telaah pustaka dan analisis penulis menemukan bahwa penggunaan media gambar dalam penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila yakni nilai Ketuhanan, Kemanusiaan, Persatuan, Kerakyatan dan Keadilan pada anak usia dini cukup efektif. Media gambar yang dibuat hendaklah memperhatikan hal- hal berikut, Pertama, gambar yang dibuat tidak hanya memperbanyak unsur seninya saja tetapi yang lebih penting adalah kesesuaian dengan tujuan yang hendak dicapai. Kedua, gambar yang dibuat juga mampu menunjukkan bagian-bagian yang penting sehingga tidak terjadi penafsiran yang berbeda dari anak didik. Ketiga, gambar yang dibuat menujukkan aktifitas yang bertujuan mengembangkan imajinasi anak, dan yang Keempat, gambar dibuat secara sederhana tidak kompleks sehingga tidak membingungkan. Di samping itu media gambar dapat dirancang dan gunakan oleh setiap guru karena tidak membutuhkan keahlian khusus.Kata kunci:  Media Gambar, Nilai-nilai Pancasila, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD)
