Abstract

The yard is ground that surrounds the house, this ground has a multifunctional function, as a playground, place for social activities and place to grow various plants. The advantages of the yard as land for plant cultivation such as familial medicinal plants and vertical vegetable cultivation Land use for plant cultivation is very profitable. Crops are not only consumed by themselves, but also to increase the family income. This community service is performed in Lekis Rejo Village, Kec. Lubuk Raja OKU South Sumatera. This service aims to utilize the site and increase the income of the people. The service will be held in 13-28 February 2020 at Lekisrejo Village, OKU Regency. Method of devotion with lectures, questions and answers, and practice. The transfer of science and technology given to farmers groups in this service is to explain how technology can be used in the cultivation of medicinal plants and the vertical cultivation of vegetables. The steps that will be followed are 1. Cultivation of kencur, ginger and turmeric. 2. Vegetable growing vertically. These activities include: 1). Preparation of seeds, 2) preparation of land/planting media, 3) Planting, 4) Maintenance and 5) Harvesting. The output goals in this community service activity are improving the community's understanding and skills in medicinal plant growing and Verticulture

Abstract

Kopi merupakan komoditas yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Permintaan kopi sangat tinggi, baik untuk permintaan dalam negeri sendiri maupun untuk ekspor. Pada umumnya kopi dijual dalam bentuk kopi biji (greenbean), biji sangrai (roasting) dan kopi bubuk. Namun pada faktanya, pemasaran kopi local belum berjalan optimal yang tercermin dari rendahnya omset penjualan atau adanya kesulitan pemasaranan. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu upaya untuk dapat meningkatkan omset penjualan, khususnya untuk kopi lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk melakukan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya penyusunan strategi pemasaran kopi local di kelompok tani “Sekar Manik” Desa Cibeureun Kecamatan Cilimus Kabupaten Kuningan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Pengabdian dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2021. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis swot (streng, weaknesess, opportunities, treath). Hasil pengabdian menyimpulkan bahwa rumusan strategi pemasaran kopi lokal di Desa Cibeureum Kecamat at Cilimus Kabupaten Kuningan adalah strategi pertumbuhan melalui integrasi horizontal (sel 5). Implementasi dari strategi ini adalah peningkatan penjualan kopi lokal yang dapat ditempuh melalui beberapa cara, antara lain: memasuki segmen pasar baru, pemasaran secara online (digital marketing) dan diversifikasi produk. Adanya gambaran rumusan strategi tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas sumberdaya petani dan sekaligus dapat membangkitkan semangat kelompok tani “Sekar Manik” untuk tetap memelihara dan meningkatkan produktifitas kopinya.

Abstract

Rural development is the basic strength of a country. Equitable development is a priority program from the government that has been adapted to laws and regulations as an embodiment of the spirit to protect constitutional rights, for the welfare of all Indonesian people. In the research of the Village Empowerment Program (P3D) in Tumpang Village in 2021, Tumpang Village has the potential for Livestock, Processed Food Products, and Tourism. The village development program aims to create integration towards a modernization system in improving the quality of human resources in Tumpang Village comprehensively. The form of participation and active role of the community to build the village into an independent tourist village. The synergy between the motivation of the target villages and the program implementation objectives by the P3D team at Merdeka University Malang is then realized in a program scheme that is expected to be carried out in a sustainable manner. The scheme for village tourism activities that support the concept of integrated tourism is educational tourism, exploration, cultural tourism, and ecotourism.

Abstract

Ciburial tourist village is a village that has a beautiful landscape and an interesting cultural diversity. Various kinds of tourism potential are divided into several parts, namely cultural and artistic tourism, culinary tourism, and nature tourism. Judging from its natural and cultural conditions, Ciburial tourism village has the potential to be developed as an Edutourism. Based on these conditions, the purpose of the community service program is in the form of training on understanding Edutourism, the potential that can be explored as Edutourism, and steps for implementing Edutourism. The service method is carried out in several ways, namely observation to identify the potential of Edutourism, interviews with various sources, and training provided to the community regarding Edutourism. Based on the results it was found that the potential that could be developed into Edutoursim was culinary and cultural tourism, namely honey cultivation, tofu factories, and also bamboo crafts. After knowing the potential for edutourism in Ciburial, the concrete implementation steps that need to be taken next are planning, execution, continuous development, and cooperation. Cooperation with partners and also educational institutions need to be established to increase the level of visits to the Ciburial Tourism Village

Abstract

Hygiene and sanitation aspects are important requirement in slaughtering animals qurban at foot and mouth disease (FMD) outbreak situation in Indonesia. This community service aims to provide guarantees to the public that the meat from animals qurban by Djuanda University was ASUH (safe, health, intact, and halal), and doing the assessment for hygiene and sanitation apratices in slaughtering process. Antemortem and postmortem examinations conducted on 19 cows and 2 sheeps. Ante-mortem examination includes examination of general condition, age, body temperature, eyes mucosa, oral mucosa, and signs of disease. Postmortem examination carried on digestive tract organs, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, spleen, head, and carcass. The application of hygiene and sanitation practices in slaughtering process were assessed with qualitatively assessment, 1 point for fulfilled and 0 for unfulfilled. Total points were summed and presented as a percentage. The results of postmortem examination show a case of fasciolosis in a cow’s liver, and 85% hygiene and sanitation aspects were fullfilled.

Abstract

Sertifikat halal merupakan hal yang wajib dimiliki oleh setiap pelaku usaha bidang makanan dan minuman termasuk juga Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Selain itu, label kemasan yang sesuai dengan peraturan juga merupakan hal yang harus diperhatikan dari suatu produk makanan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di UMKM KANARA ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mengenai kurangnya pengetahuan UMKM mengenai Sistem Jaminan Produk Halal (SJPH) dan pembuatan label produk yang sesuai standar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan implementasi. Dari hasil pengabdian, pelaku UMKM telah mengetahui pentingnya menghasilkan produk halal, memiliki dokumen untuk mendapatkan sertifikat halal melalui self-declare, serta memiliki Nomor Izin Berusaha (NIB) sebagai prasyarat pembuatan sertifikat halal. Selain itu, UMKM KANARA juga telah mengetahui dan memiliki label produk yang sesuai peraturan label kemasan yang berlaku.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to provide knowledge related to quality control aspects through assistance in quality control of the yogurt production process in the yogurt SME business actors Sukabirus, Megamendung-Bogor District. The marketing of yogurt is quite extensive while quality control does not yet exist, it is hoped that the quality of the products marketed is of good quality and can compete in the market. Assistance in quality control of final product analysis on pH parameters and brix degrees. Analysis of the data on the quality control of the final product using a simple Microsoft Excel analysis whose results are compared with the competitor's products and SNI. The results of this yogurt quality control assistance show that the pH value of the yogurt flavor variant in yogurt SMEs is around 3.5-3.8 and the brix degree value is 13.5%. Prior to the quality control assistance, yogurt SMEs did not know the quality of the products produced. After the assistance of quality control in the analysis of the final product, the yogurt produced meets SNI standards, there are no damaged products because the production of yogurt is adjusted to market demand, the yogurt produced is fresh and of good quality so that it can compete in the market. Abstract

Upaya peningkatan kemampuan wirausaha santri diperlukan untuk meningkatkan daya saingnya di masyarakat.  Hal ini dapat dilakukan melalui penambahan keterampilan teknis dan sosial, seperti teknik budidaya dan pemasarannya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan jiwa agripreneur santri melalui penerapan teknologi hidroponik di pondok pesantren. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan, pelatihan  dan demplot kepada para santri mengenai teknik budidaya dan sistem pemasaran sayuran hidroponik. Selama kegiatan dilakukan pula monitoring oleh tim dosen pengabdi, pendampingan oleh tim mahasiswa dan evaluasi melalui pretest dan posttest.. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mampu menambah pengalaman, wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan  santri dalam didaya sayuran secara hidroponik dan kemampuan memasarkannya. Selain itu para santri mampu melakukan kegiatan budidaya hidroponik secara mandiri.

Abstract

The land characteristics of Pemulutan Ilir Village are dominated by swamps, so the people's main agriculture is the cultivation of lowland swamp rice. The existence of extensive rice fields encourages the development of rice milling businesses that produce husk waste. The husk waste has not been utilized by the community. If processed, rice husk waste will become a more useful product, once is husk charcoal briquettes. This community service activity is the implementation of the Community Partnership Program of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022 which is carried out by the IBA University team. The participants are the community of Pemulutan Ilir Village. Activities start from May-December 2022. Activities are carried out in several stages, starting with surveys and field observations to inventory and analyze partner resources and problems, determine problem solutions, conduct training and mentoring partners to utilize husk waste into charcoal biobriquettes. To the community, there has been a transfer of technological innovation for making husk charcoal briquettes, training and assistance in the process of burning to produce husk charcoal, making adhesive dough, briquette dough and printing briquettes. The result is the peoples of Pemulutan Ilir Village have succeeded in absorbing and being able to carry out all stages for making husk charcoal briquettes and have succeeded in making husk charcoal briquettes that are dense, neat and uniform. The community is very motivated to produce husk charcoal briquettes commercially in order to increase their income and improve the family's economy

Abstract

Peningkatan Pemahaman serta Kesadaran Hukum merupakan salah satu bagian dari pendidikan serta pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dapat dimulai dari ruang lingkup terkecil yaitu keluarga dan serta individu-individu yang tergabung di dalam nya. Hukum Lingkungan adalah hukum yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan alam dalam arti seluasluasnya. Dalam ruang lingkup berkaitan dengan dan ditentukan oleh ruang lingkup pengelolaan lingkungan. Terkait ini hukum lingkungan adalah instrumentarium yuridis bagi pengelolaan lingkungan hidup. Tujuan dari kegiatan sosialisasi di Desa Pardomuan Ajibata, Toba Samosir ini adalah dalam rangka guna untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Hukum Masyarakat Dalam Memahami mengenai Hukum Lingkungan Pasca berlakunya UU nomor 11 Tahun 2020 Pada Masyarakat Desa Pardomuan Ajibata, Toba Samosir. Target kegiatan sosialisasi ini secara umum adalah masyarakat desa Pardomuan Ajibata meningkat pemahaman hukumnya dan target secara khusus adalah 1). Agar masyarakat desa Pardomuan Ajibata sadar akan hak dan kewajibannya dalam berbangsa dan bernegara; 2). Masyarakat desa Pardomuan Ajibata memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam bidang hukum lingkungan; 3). Serta terbentuknya suasana di dalam masyarakat yang aman tentram, lingkungan yang terjaga dan untuk aparatur pemerintah desa semakin baik dalam menjalankan tata kelola pemerintah desa. Metode kegiatan sosialisasi untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut yaitu pelatihan berupa ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab yang berkaitan dengan bidang hukum yang diajarkan.
