Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui cara mengimplementasikan kosa kata bahasa Inggris, (2) mengetahui hambatan yang dihadapi dalam mengenalkan kosa kata bahasa Inggris, (3) mengetahui solusi dalam mengenalkan kosa kata bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitain deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengambil data seluruh anak kelas B2 BA ‘Aisyiyah Mangkujayan Ponorogo. Sumber data diperoleh dari guru dan siswa BA ‘Aisyiyah Mangkuajayan Ponorogo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kosa kata bahasa Inggris dilakukan dengan metode tanya jawab dan menggunakan gambar. Kosa kata yang dikenalkan yaitu 6-7 kosa kata bahasa Inggris. Implementasi pengenalan kosa kata bahasa Inggris hanya dikenalkan pada kelompok B dan dilaksanakan pada semester dua diminggu pertama. Pengenalan kosa kata bahasa Inggris dilakukan satu minggu sekali sesuai dengan tema yang ditentukan. Penulis berharap pada pembelajaran selanjutnya guru pendamping akan memperhatikan pronansiasi dan intonasi saat mengenalkan kosa kata bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini. Setelah penelitian ini selesai diharapkan media gambar digunakan secara maksimal dalam pengenalan kosa kata bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran matematika dengan media geogebra yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas VII F SMP N 2 Kauman, (2) mengetahui peningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas VII F SMP N 2 Kauman dengan media geogebra.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII F SMP N 2 Kauman yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal tes pemahaman konsep, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran guru dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran siswa. Penerapan media geogebra dengan membagi siswa menjadi beberapa kelompok. Kemudian menerapkan langkah 5M yang selanjutnya siswa mempraktikkan media geogebra saat mengumpulkan informasi. Dari hasil analisis data tes tiap indikator berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase . Hasil analisis data observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran siswa 81,01% mengalami peningkatan menjadi 88,22%. Sedangkan untuk persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran guru pada siklus I sebesar 98,14% menjadi 100%. Dengan demikian penerapan media geogebra dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas VII F SMP N 2 Kauman

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) mendeskripsikan peran Bawaslu Kabupaten Ponorogo dalam menjalankan pengawasan pada penyelenggaraan pemilu tahun 2019, (2) mendeskripsikan kendala Bawaslu Kabupaten Ponorogo dalam menjalankan pengawasan pada penyelenggaraan pemilu tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan narasumber Bawaslu (Badan Pengawas Pemilu) Kabupaten Ponorogo yang mencakup ketua dan komisioner. Prosedur pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data untuk melihat peran BAWASLU dalam menjalankan pengawasan pada penyelenggaraan pemilu tahun 2019 menggunakan triangulasi data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bawaslu mengawasi baik tahapan maupun non tahapan yaitu pengurangan/meminimalisir pelanggaran, melakukan upaya pencegahan terhadap pelanggaran baik pelanggaran admistrasi, kode etik dan tindak pidana pemilu dan melakukan penertiban serta penindakan pelanggaran pada saat penyelenggaraan pemilu tahun 2019. Sedangkan kendala dalam pengawasan pada penyelenggaraan pemilu terjadi baik di intern penyelenggara pemilu dan ekstern. Untuk kendala intern ialah Bawaslu sangat terbatas dalam menyikapi kesenjangan peraturan tentang persyaratan pemilih antara e-KTP dan Surat Keterangan pada peraturan dari Sekretariat Jenderal yang ada di Pusat dengan Undang-Undang Pemilu Nomor 7 Tahun 2019 tentang Penyelenggaraan Pemilahan Umum. Kendala ekstern termasuk pelaporan dana kampanye dari peserta partai politik yang ada yang melebihi batas waktu yang ditetapkan dan dalam rekapitulai DPT (Daftar Pemilih Tetap). Adanya semua kendala sudah terselesaikan dengan baik

Abstract

Speaking is one of the most important skills in communication that should be learned by the people. By speaking, the people combine information and ideas by communicating with each other. Extracurricular is one of ways to learn English. By following English extracurricular, the students can increase their speaking skill ability. All of students at Azmania Boarding School also follow the English extracurricular. Therefore, when they are in second grade, they are able to use English in their daily lives.  The purpose of this study was to analyze the teaching strategy to promote students speaking skill in English extracurricular of the 2nd grade and the implementation of the strategy at Azmania Boarding School of Ponorogo in the academic year of 2018/2019. This research design was qualitative research of case study. As the data collection techniques,  the researcher used qualitative observation and interview. The subject of this research was the instructor of the second grade’s English extracurricular. Based on finding and discussion, the teacher’s activities in classroom were learning by playing, singing and telling. Those activities were categorized as Active Learning strategy. This strategy gave good effect for the students. This strategy also increased students’ motivation in speaking skill. The implementation of this strategy was by combining materials with song, story and game. The implementation of this strategy also based on the students’ need.  Based on the results of the study, the researcher gives suggestion related to the strategy of teaching speaking. For teachers, it is hoped that this research can encourage other teachers to adopt this strategy. Besides adopting this strategy, other teacher can modify this strategy to improve speaking skill of the students. The teacher also can apply interesting strategies to develop the students’ ability. By using various strategies in teaching, it is hoped that the students are not bored and get good way to improve students speaking skill. For students, they need to increase their motivation and interest in learning English. They need to practice speaking skill in their activity. Students can use media in around them, for examples; song, story or novel, games, etc. to improve their speaking ability. The last for other researcher, the researcher hopes that the other researcher can do some improvement in many aspects that can be analyzed in English language especially in speaking skill.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berpikir reflektif siswa ditinjau dari gaya kognitif field independent dan field dependent. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun istrumen yang digunakan adalah Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT), tes soal berpikir reflektif dan wawancara. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang tediri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada indikator berpikir reflektif reacting terdapat kesamaan berpikir reflektif antara siswa field independent dan field dependent. Pada indikator berpikir reflektif comparing terdapat perbedaan dalam hal menghubungkan pengetahuan yang diberikan dengan pengetahuan yang dimiliki. Pada indikator berpikir reflektif contemplating terdapat perbedaan pada kemampuan mendeteksi kesalahan. Temuan lain dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa siswa field independent menjelaskan jawabannya dengan detail dan rinci, cenderung menggunakan cara menghafal dan memiliki kepercayaan diri yang tinggi. Sedangkan siswa field dependent menjelaskan jawabannya secara umum, memiliki analisis yang baik dan menyukai cara yang telah ditetapkan

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) know the criteria of a graph that has a -factor, (2) know the conditions of a regular graph that has a 1-factorization , (3) know the conditions of a regular graph that has a 2-factorization.This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the method of literature study or literature review where a study of books, scientific journals, and other literature languages is carried out relating to factorization on regular graphs. This research begins by discussing the definitions and examples of euler graphs and regular bipartite multigraphs. Next in reviewing the terms of a regular graph which has a 1-factorization and which has a 2-factorization, it starts by discussing the definition and theorem of matching on bipartite graphs, definitions and examples of factorization graphs, then discussing the proof of theorem of regular graphs that have a 1-factor and a regular graph which has a 2-factor.The results of this study indicate that: (1) Graph  is said to be -factorable  or can be factored into -factor , if can be decomposed or be eksplained into spanning subgraphs , where each  has a -factor and is edge-disjoint from , that is 1)  2)  … n) = . (2) The condition for a graph that has a 1-factorization is, if the graph is a -regular bipartite multigraph, with . Abstract

The researcher encountered several problems in understanding writing in SMPN 1 Siman. Such as, students think that writing is a boring activity. The students feel that English is difficult to learn. The objective of this research study is to find out the implementation of task-based language teaching strategies (TBLT) to enhance writing achievement at SMPN 1 Siman in the academic year of 2019/2020. The subject of this research was the students of eighth grade of SMPN 1 Siman in academic year of 2019/2020, which is consisted 24 students. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The researcher used three research instruments. They were observation checklist, questionnaire, and test.Based on the result of this research, the implementation of TBLT to enhance students’ writing achievement at SMPN 1 Siman. The result of observation checklist showed that the students became active during teaching learning process. It was seen from the result of observation checklist cycle 1 was 72% in cycle 2 was 80%. The result of questionnaire showed that the students more get motivation with this strategy. It was seen from the resullt in cycle 1 was 66,7% and the cycle 22 was 75,1%. The test in cycle 1 showed that there were 68.8% who got low score under basic minimum standard was 75. Then in cycle 2, who reached the minimum score based from KKM was 77,8% the researcher conclude that the result from observation, questionnaiire, and thest in cycle 2 is better than cycle 1. It meant that the study had been succesful by using TBLT  strategy.Finnaly, the researcher give suggestion for English teachers, students, and further researcher can use TBLT (task-based language teaching) strategy as alternative strategy in teaching writing. The next researcher can develop this strategy by using various media to get the better result in teaching learning process.  Key Word: TBLT strategy, Writing

Abstract

Young learners can be defined as children in age ranging from five or six years old who are attending elementary school to twelve years old.  In this research the researcher chose to teach vocabulary in TK (kindergarten) Aisyiyah Dolopo. The reason for choosing to teach vocabulary is because vocabulary is one of the important elements in language. The researcher focuses on teaching vocabulary words to the young learners. The researcher used pop up slide book to improve students’ vocabulary. The pop up slide book is a book which shows three dimensional pictures when the pull or trigger is pulled. The name pop up slide book is originated from the term “Slide” which means “to move smoothly along a surface”. The name slide was added by the researcher as the new variant of pop up book. The method for this research was Classroom Action Research which took two cycles. This research method was conducted to know the problems inside the classroom thus the solution can be found. The goal of this research is to make children learn English through pop up slide book. The instruments used in this research were observation, interview and test. The research results based on the implementation of popup animal slide media in TK Aisyiyah Dolopo Madiun showed that in cycle 1 up to cycle 2 the implementation of pop up slide book was able to improve students’ score. In the first cycle many students achieved score 70 and in the second observation their score were above 80. The highest score was 100 for the test in cycle 2. The interview result showed that 100% of the students liked the pop up slide book with the animal poster. In the first interview cycle, 87% of students were afraid to learn English but in the second interview cycle, 100% of students could speak English comfortably without hesitation. Moreover from the observation in first cycle only 46% students who were excited to learn with pop up book, but in the second cycle 90% of students were excited to learn English during lesson using pop up slide book. It means that pop up Slide Book as teaching media could successfully improve students’ vocabulary. Keywords: Kindergarten, Pop Up Slide Book, Vocabulary

Abstract

This research focuses on culture shock by Thailand students in Ponorogo with two aims: (1) to elaborate on the culture shock by Thailand students in Ponorogo. (2) to investigate the way of Thailand students in Ponorogo adjust their problem with Indonesian culture. This research used qualitative design, while the data were displayed in the forms of descriptive. The researcher took four Thailand students who are studying in Ponorogo. There are one student from Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo (UMPO), two students from University Darussalam Gontor (UNIDA), and one student from Institute Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN).  The researcher used interview and documentation as the instruments for collecting the data. The results showed that there were two problems on culture shock by Thai students in Ponorogo. The problems were: the problems about the cultural difference such as language, social manner, and religious life and the problems about life change such as food, transportation and emotion. Meanwhile, the way to adjust the culture shock in Poronogo by Thai students were: learnt and understand more about host culture, accepted the cultural difference between host culture and their culture, participated in activities related with cultural difference such as summer camp. It helped them to fast adaptation in culture and language, and joined BIPA program (Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing). That made them fast adaptation in Indonesia language and also fast adaptation with cultural difference.Keywords: Culture, Thai Culture, Indonesian Culture, Culture Shock

Abstract

The objectives of this classroom action research is to describe and explain the process of learning to begin with through picture stories in BA ‘Aisyiyah Sidoharjo. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research. The research model used is Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subjects of this class action research were group B students in BA ‘Aisyiyah sidoharjo, amounting to 17 children consisting of 10 boys and 7 girls. The object of this research is the skill of beginning reading in children through pictorial story media The data analysis technique was carried out with qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results of research on the beginning of reading activities showed an increase, it can be seen from the results of the initial activity before the action showed 5.89%, an increase of 17.63% in Cycle I to 23.52%, and an increase of 65% so that it reached 88 , 23% in Cycle II. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the activity of learning to begin reading with picture stories can improve the skills of beginning reading in children.  Keywords: Early Ready, Picture story, Early Childhood
