Abstract

In order to increase the quality of human resources in education field, we should consider about development of change which is done in any field of life. By paying attention to national education priority, the ability of mastering good writing and reading, it will be motivated the mastering ability of creative and critical thinking and the development of students’ effective demention can be optimalized. In implementing of beginning reading learning at elementary school (SD), teacher is often faced to the students who get the difficulty, which is deal with sound, letter, syllable, word, simple sentence and students’ disability in comprehending reading content. Teacher as important stakeholder in learning, he or she should able to know and overcome the problem which faced by the students. To overcome this problem, the teacher needs to increase the efectifity of beginning reading learning at elementary school

Abstract

Thisss research is background overshadow by problems which during the time learn in study IPS still tend to to have the character of the ekspositoris and teacher sentris, less entangle the student in study, often give the items memorizing. Assessment which always the in form of cognate and less give the opportunity of at student to be got mixed up with to to solve problem [at] the study. For that researcher try to improve;repair the study IPS by using co-operative of learning of model bamboo dancing. this Research Type is research of class action ( Clasroom Action research), this research use the approach qualitative and kuntitatif doneby 2 is cycle by kolaboratif between researcher and class teacher. Result of this research indicate that the result learn the student mount from 66 at cycle I become 84 at cycle II. Compilation RPP mount from 71 at cycle I become 89 at cycle II. Activity Execution learn and student also mount from 65 and 69 at cycle I become 75 and 80 at cycle II. From research result doneinferential that by using co-operative of learning of model bamboo dancing can improve the result learn the student in study IPS in class of IV SDN 02Percontohn of Town Bukittinggi

Abstract

This research was conducted as the teacher had not yet used group dynamics in teaching the characteristics of shapes topics. This had made the learning process became teacher-centered and the students’ learning achievement got low. The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of the students’ learning achievement on the characteristics of shapes topics by using jigsaw cooperative learning model. This reseach was conducted at SDN 03 Pelangai Gadang. The subject of the research was the teacher and the fifth grade students. The result of the research indicated that there was an improvement on the plan, the implementation of the plan and the students’ learning achievement. This result had indicated that the use of jigsaw cooperative learning model could improve the students’ learning achievement on the characteristics of shapes topic in the fifth grade of SDN 03 Pelangai Gadang.

Abstract

The phenomenon that often occurs in elementary school geometry teacher in the real world do not associate with students. Learning in the classroom is teacher-centered. The purpose of this study is to develop learning model geometry using realistic mathematics education approach (PMRI) are valid, practical, and effective. In addition, it also aims to see the difference between the students' learning outcomes geometry before and after using model geometry approach PMRI. This study was a research and development (R & D). For field trials used an experimental research design time series one-group pretest and posttest. Subjects were students in public elementary school no.14 Parak Laweh Padang four grade. The results showed that the learning model geometry with PMRI approaches that have been developed, as well as through experimental trials have been valid, practical, and effective. In sefesific there are differences in geometry student learning outcomes significantly between before and after using model geometry with PMRI approach. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low student learning outcome at Curriculum and Technology of Education in Education of Sciences Faculty, State University of Padang. The purpose of this research was to reveal the relationship of learning motivation and learning attitudes with learning outcome of student TM 2013 semester 2 in KTP FIP UNP majors. This research used quantitative methods to the type of correlational research. The sample in this research were 77 students TM 2013 semester 2 in KTP FIP UNP majors, used Slovin formula with proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument was structured in the form of a questionnaire with Likert scale models, after being tested looking for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple regression. The results showed that (1) There was a significant positive relationship between learning motivation and learning outcome of students TM 2013 semester 2 majoring in Curriculum and Educational of Technology at 0.492, (2) There was a significant positive relationship between the attitude of learning with learning outcome of students TM 2013 semesters 2 in Curriculum and Educational Technology majors by 0,646, (3) There was a significant positive relationship between learning motivation and learning attitude toward learning outcome for student TM 2013 semester 2 in Curriculum and Educational Technology majors at 0.702. Based on the findings of this study concluded that the two independent variables, namely learning motivation and learning attitude played a very important in improving learning outcome, in addition to other variables.

Abstract

The procedure of this study refers to the development of procedural models Borg & Gall simplified in accordance with the needs of research. Starting from the Needs Identification, Formulation Objectives, Content Development, Validation, and then do the Revision products according to suggestions and comments matter experts and media experts, the last stage of product trials conducted to 20 students. The analysis showed that the Interactive Multimedia learning media is in the very good category. For material aspects included in the excellent category (4.64). For the aspects of media presentation included in the excellent category (4.58). Furthermore, the test results are limited practicalities of media use are in the very good category (4.4).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the students learn of result in Natural Science through discovery approach of the IV grade students of Elementary School in Air Tawar, Padang. This research is a Classroom Action which consist of two meetings in two cycles. This research utilizes four steps of actions, are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The result of the study shows that the students learn of result in Natural Science experiencing of improvement and the improvement of students’ achievement can be observed from the affective, psychomotor, and cognitive.

Abstract

Results of the study revealed that mastery of pedagogical competence of teachers is low, characterized by the manufacture of RPP result of the adoption PL and prepared students for the purposes of surveillance, media and methods are still conventional, low-grade teaching is not thematic. Development of pedagogical competence of teachers is not yet optimal. Coaching by the school principal is done through classroom observation, meetings with teachers, and the assignment of teachers to follow KKG. Coaching by a senior teacher of the junior teachers in the form of a discussion or share teaching experience, as well as self-learning teachers. Constraints in coaching comes from internal and external. Effort in overcoming the obstacles in the guidance is advised teachers to continue their education to S1 as well as participate in various training, teacher performance assessment, contact the UNP to provide training to teachers in order to improve teachers' pedagogical competence. This study suggested that the acquisition and development of pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers UNP Development Laboratory can be improved through training and on going coaching to produce learning and quality education.

Abstract

Based on the learning process in Prodi DIII Midwifery there is a decrease in student learning achievement in level II. It can be seen from the drop in grade point average (GPA) students of the first semester and the second semester. There was a decrease prtestasi learned from the first half with honors as many as 18 people and a decline in the second half as many as 15 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship influence student relationships with students and Hb with student achievement level II Prodi DIII Midwifery STIKes Minang Padang in 2015. This type of research is analytic with cross sectional study design. The population in this study were all students of level II Prodi DIII Midwifery totaling 33 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire on 10 to 16 August 2015. The univariate analysis is shown in the form of a frequency distribution table and bivariate analysis shown by the results of the chi square test. The results showed 36.4% of students had Hb levels of anemia. 57.6% of students have influence student relationship with a student. 36.4% of the students have learning achievement is not satisfactory. There is a relationship between students and student relationships with the student learning outcomes. There is a relationship between Hb and students with student learning outcomes at level II Prodi DIII Midwifery STIKes Minang Padang 2015. There are students with student relationships and hemoglobin (Hb) and academic achievement in students. Students are expected to follow the existing regulations in the dorms and are expected to support each student with a friend in increased learning achievement.

Abstract

Teachers have important roles to accomplish the educational goals, and they are expected to show a high level of performance. Performance of the teachers’ was presumably influenced by various factors, such as creativity of teachers and principal supervision. Based on a preliminary field observation, the researcher noticed that High School teachers’ profesionalism in Palupuh Agam was unsatisfactory. Applying a stratified propotional random sampling technique, 30 teachers were selected as the research sample from a population of 62 teachers. A Likert scale model questionnaire was developed to collect data whose validity and reliability had been tested. The data were then analyzed by means of correlation and regression statistical procedures. The result of data analysis indicates that (1) the creativity has contribution as much as 19,6% of teachers’ performance (2) principal supervision contribute as much as 16,6% and (3) the creativity of teacher and prinsipal supervision either joint 16,7% of teacher’s performance. While the achievement level of creativity, teacher’s performance, principal supervision variable are very good.
