Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatam hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model Problem Based Learning pada pembelajaran matematika materi operasi hitung pecahan di kelas V SDN 04 Sungai Geringging. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas V yang berjumlah 22 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II, perencanaan pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata dari 83,33% (B) menjadi 97,22% (A), aktivitas guru dari 82,81% (B) menjadi 93,75% (A), aktivitas siswa dari 82,81% (B) menjadi 93,75% (A), dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada aspek pengetahuan yaitu 73,09 menjadi 92,09, serta pada aspek keterampilan memperoleh rata-rata 70,04 menjadi 93,94.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS serta rendahnya keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis HOTS untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS serta meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis HOTS untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk guru SD yang berada di Kota Padang sebanyak 25 orang. Metode kegiatan dengan memberikan seminar hakiakt HOTS, pelatihan pelaksanaan pembelajaran HOTS dan pelatihan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis HOTS. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran berbasis HOTS serta meningkatknya keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasi HOTS. Impilikasi kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan referensi bagi praktisi pendidikan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan guru SD dalam proses pembelajaran berbasis HOTS.

Abstract

This research was conducted as the teacher had not yet used group dynamics in teaching the characteristics of shapes topics. This had made the learning process became teacher-centered and the students’ learning achievement got low. The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of the students’ learning achievement on the characteristics of shapes topics by using jigsaw cooperative learning model. This reseach was conducted at SDN 03 Pelangai Gadang. The subject of the research was the teacher and the fifth grade students. The result of the research indicated that there was an improvement on the plan, the implementation of the plan and the students’ learning achievement. This result had indicated that the use of jigsaw cooperative learning model could improve the students’ learning achievement on the characteristics of shapes topic in the fifth grade of SDN 03 Pelangai Gadang.

Abstract

The phenomenon that often occurs in elementary school geometry teacher in the real world do not associate with students. Learning in the classroom is teacher-centered. The purpose of this study is to develop learning model geometry using realistic mathematics education approach (PMRI) are valid, practical, and effective. In addition, it also aims to see the difference between the students' learning outcomes geometry before and after using model geometry approach PMRI. This study was a research and development (R & D). For field trials used an experimental research design time series one-group pretest and posttest. Subjects were students in public elementary school no.14 Parak Laweh Padang four grade. The results showed that the learning model geometry with PMRI approaches that have been developed, as well as through experimental trials have been valid, practical, and effective. In sefesific there are differences in geometry student learning outcomes significantly between before and after using model geometry with PMRI approach. Abstract

This research is based on the learning background that is still a teacher-centered dynamic while students are passive. The purpose of this research is to develop a teacher’s guideline in learning geometry with the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach that is valid, practical, and influential. This research is a development research (R&D) with the Tjeerd Plomp model. Field trial with an experimental design of one group pre-test and post-test time series, with a sample of 33 elementary school students in the city of Padang. The results showed that the PMRI teacher guidelines were valid, practical, and influential. In particular, there are significant differences in the geometry learning outcomes between before and after using this teacher guide. This is indicated by the results of the data analysis of the significant difference between post-test 1 and pre-test 1, post-test 2 and pre-test 2, as well as post-test 3 and pre-test 3 with a p-value of 0.001 < 0.05. Qualitatively, students can understand that a square is a rectangle whose all sides are the same length, and that a square and a rectangle had the characteristics of a parallelogram. In term of van Hiele's theory, students are at the stage of informal deductive thinking. Students can conclude the shapes and characteristics of flat shapes of triangles, squares, rectangles, and parallelograms. Elementary school teachers are advised in learning geometry to use the teacher’s guidelines that have been developed.Keywords: Learning, geometry, PMRI, van Hiele, primary school.

Abstract

To shape the personality of students in civilized and humane education, the role of the school is very important. In the process of learning in the classroom in particular, educators should think about what strategies will be used in dealing with learners when learning takes place. Learning strategies can make learning more conducive and not monotonous. Thus making the students more interested in following further subject matter that will be given by educators. Until now, there has been no application that focuses more on cultural values ​​and the character of the teaching of mathematics in elementary school. More in-depth character education in mathematics.Though cultural values ​​and character need to be instilled in the students as early as possible. Elementary school is the most appropriate body as a container application character education, character education has diperkenalakan although implicitly at home. Then, another virtue of this research is as an input for melaksananakan teachers in the learning process in order to foster a culture and character of learners who baik.Kegiatan this study aims to develop a mathematical model of learning through Character Education using PMRI approach in primary schools. The development of a model that is expected to be used in a practical, valid and effective, so that the learning objectives set out in the curriculum of mathematics can be achieved by optimal as possible.

Abstract

The background of this research is that no standard instrument can measure the ability of HOTS PGSD students in lecturesin high-class mathematics education. This study aims to develop HOTS instruments that are valid, effective and practical.This research is development research. The results of this study were 1) produced valid devices based on expert judgment, 2)HOTS instruments produced were also effective in terms of increasing the HOTS category of PGSD students from the lowcategory up to the medium category, and 3) HOTS instruments categorized as very practical both from faculties of lecturersand students. This research implies that this instrument can be used as a standard measurement tool in knowing the ability ofHOTS PGSD students.

Abstract

Lack of support for learning facilities owned by students in learning cartography, especially in making digital maps, causes less achievement of learning objectives. Learning to make digital maps using the PJBL model and carried out in the form of Lesson Study activities The purpose of this research is to describe Learning to make digital maps using the PJBL model and implemented in Lesson Study activities The method used is descriptive which describes in full the information obtained by researchers from the implementation of lesson studies. The results obtained in the Do stage for positive things are, First, there is a high enthusiasm from some students to learn, second, students gain new knowledge in making digital maps. While for the negative things are First, one computer is used by several students, second, the number of students is too large for the type of skills courses, and third, students are less focused on learning. The See stage is first, the need for lecturers to pay attention to the number of students in one class, second, the need for lecturers to make preparations before learning begins.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) dan teknologi merupakan salah satu pembelajaran wajib yang harus dikembangkan disekolah dasar. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran HOTS dan teknologi dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Pembelajaran HOTS dan teknologi akan dapat terlaksana apabila guru memahami HOTS dan teknologi secara menyeluruh. Namun hasil angket menyatakan bahwa rendahnya keterampilan guru SD dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi pada masa pandemi covid-19 dan rendahnya keterampilan guru SD dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS pada masa pandemi covid-19. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan guru SD dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi pada masa pandemi covid-19 dan meningkatkan keterampilan guru SD dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS pada masa pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di gugus VII Koto Laweh. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah 30 orang guru SD yang berada di gugsu VII Koto Laweh. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pelatihan. Adapun pelatihan yang diberikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah pelatihan pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi untuk siswa sekolah dasar dan pelatihan pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS. Hasil kegiatan menyatakan bahwa terjadinya peningkatan keterampilan guru SD dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi pada masa pandemi covid-19 dan keterampilan guru SD dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS pada masa pandemi covid-19. Implikasi kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan referensi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru

Abstract

This training was motivated by the low TPACK ability of elementary school teachers in the mathematics learning process. The purpose of this activity is to improve the TPACK ability of elementary school teachers in learning mathematics. The implementation method is by carrying out training activities in Cluster II, Pauh District, Padang City, involving 30 elementary school teachers. The results of the activity stated that there was an increase in the TPACK ability of elementary school teachers in learning mathematics. The implications of this activity can be used as a reference in developing the TPACK abilities of elementary school teachers.
