Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this research is to know signs and meanings (sign, object, interpretant) of homoxeksual that exist in Sausage Party. This research used Semiotica Charles Sanders Peirce’s theory that famous with his triangle meanings and also used Azhari and Kencana’s homoxeksual theory that included in sexual behavior. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research approach. In this research, researchers used data source triangulation thecnique. According Bungin (2007:257), data source triangulation doing by comparing and measuring level of trust an information that obtained by interview result and document that related to each other. Key informant in this research is a psychology and the triangulan is movie watcher. Abstract

Gay or homosexuality is a variation of developed sexual orientation in society. The purpose of this research is to know the gay representation in Moonlight film and to know semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce in Moonlight film. Research design and research method used in this thesis is qualitative research method of Semiotics Charles Sanders Peirce and Queer Theory. The analysis of each scene has been selected as many as six scenes showing gay signs and then analyzing using Peirce model that is relation of Sign / Interpretant, Object, and Interpretant which each consist of trichotomy based on the sign that is qualisign, sinsign, and legisign, based on the object ie icon, index, and symbol, and based on interpretantnya rheme, dicisign, and argument. After observing and analyzing the scene / scene in the movie "Moonlight", researchers found the presence of gay signs in the film as a sense of curiosity Chiron against gays and homos, Chiron who seek with his identity, sexual behavior such as kissing and Kevin's masturbation against Chiron, anxiety and longing for someone, dreaming or fantasizing until ejaculation, meeting the person and embracing him, and behaving differently to his peers.Keywords: Representation, Gay, Semiotics, Moonlight

Abstract

Abstract Technology mobile application is utilized by the Bogor Botanical Gardens under Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI) as one of the attractions in the city of Bogor by designing an Android-based mobile application for visitors to the Bogor Botanical Gardens, called Jelajah Kebun Raya Bogor application. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using Kotler's theory of the quality dimensions of service delivery which includes physical evidence, empathy, reliability, quick response and assurance. The results of the research note that the application is designed to improve the quality of public services and to facilitate the visitors down the extent of the area of the Bogor Botanical Gardens. There are features on applications i.e., features information about the history of the plant and other historic buildings that are in the Bogor Botanical Garden to make it easy for visitors to get the information needed to facilitate navigation and features visitors exploring the vastness of the areas of the Bogor Botanical Gardens, content in the application is accurate and secure, in accordance with the needs of visitors, improve the renewal applications. Keywords: Service Improvement, Mobile Application, Jelajah Kebun Raya Bogor.

Abstract

AbstractFilm is one  of the mass communication media that has one goal that is to provide entertainment. Indonesian films that have penetrated to air in several countries, namely The Raid: Redemption film. This action genre film shows a lot of violent scenes. Hence this study aims to find out how representations related to violence both verbally and non-verbally in the The Raid: Redemption film. In this study to help find meaning in the The Raid: Redemption, the author uses Roland Barthes semiotics which sees everything with levels of denotation, connotation to myth. The qualitative research method retrieval to find out the purpose of violence and how the life and culture of violence that occurs in the The Raid: Redemption film. This research was conducted in the city of Bogor and Jakarta starting from November 2017 to June 2018.  Based on the results of research conducted that the violence displayed in the film The Raid: Redemption shows that someone who has the power allows to commit acts of violence both psychologically and phisically. Violence becomes a solution to all the problems that occur in this film. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze communication strategy of Bogor Social Office on establishing communication with street children in Bogor. This research used qualitative descriptive method to reveal Bogor Social Office’s situation and problem in implementing communication strategy in dealing with street children. This research took place in Bogor Social Office located in Jalan Raya Merdeka No. 142, Ciwaringin, Central Bogor, on November 2018 until April 2019. There are two subjects on this research, two key informants and two ordinary informants. Data collection technique used in this research includes depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity technique was using source triangulation to compare both data collected from observation and data collected from depth interview. Source triangulation in this research is Rumah Merah Putih, one of the social foundation in Bogor. Results showes theory that been used in analyzing Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) are able to represent street children handling which currently done by Bogor Social Office.Keywords: communication strategy, tramp, SWOT analysis.

Abstract

AbstractAnalysis of Media Dependency Relations with Student Political Participation at the Indonesian Lawyers Club Program on Tv One" (Case of Political Science Students of the Jakarta Institute of Social and Political Sciences). Communication Studies Program Broadcasting Concentration, Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences (FISIB) Pakuan University Bogor. Supervised by Dr. David Rizar Nugroho M.Si. The objectives of the study were (1) Analyzing how students were exposed to the Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Tv One, (2) Analyzing how the political participation of students in Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Tv One, (3) Analyzing the relationship between Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Tv One and political participation of students. This research is a quantitative that produces statistical data using quantitative descriptive methods. Data used questionnaire method or questionnaire and literature study. The population and sample in this study were political science students from the Jakarta Institute of Social and Political Sciences who had watched Indonesia Lawyers Club on Tv One with accidental sampling. The research instrument tested the validity of the Pearson Product Moment reliability with Cronbach's Alpha. Data analyzed technique used is the average score and correlation test. The results show that: (1) In the media discontinuation variable the duration indicator of the majority of respondents watching Indonesia Lawyers Club 10-20 minutes in one watch. (2) Indicator of frequency of watching Indonesian Lawyers Club, the majority of respondents watch twice a month. (3) There is a significant relationship between media exposure and student political participation which is obtained by Pearson Product Moment correlation test for ratio, interval and ordinal data.Keywords: media dependency, political participation, relationships

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to know the communication strategy business that is applied by Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru and  review the strategy of  the long run it will be carried out in the face of the licensing related to the implementation of the communication strategy business. The metode of researches is descriptive qualitatif method, in obtaining data using the method of indepth interviews, observations, documentation, and the study of the library. The result showed that in making the communication strategy business, Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru make a long-term plan called Renstra (Rencana Strategis) the community empowerment. The obstacles or factors inhibiting the way the process of communication strategy to the business in Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru is: Lack of facilities and infrastucture to accomodate visitors in large numbers, the lack of coordination in the team, as well as lisencing Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru as a tourist village that hasn’t been registered in the Departement of Culture and Tourism of Bogor Regency. Keywords: Strategy, Communication Strategy Business, Kampung Wisata Bisnis Tegalwaru

Abstract

Agriculture is one of the important sectors that contribute to Indonesian national income. However, agricultural development currently has a tendency to increase productivity it impacts on the agricultural system which tends to make agriculture as "commodities" and reduces the position of agriculture as an spiritual activity. Mainstreaming agriculture into "commodity" has an impact on the lost of cultural infrastructure that is supporting agriculture. This study aims to (1) see the existence of “Sedakah Bumi” practices in Ciasmara Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency (2) Transformation practices of “Sedekah Bumi” in Ciasmara village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. This study uses a Rapid-Ethnography approach or fast ethnography, located in the village of Ciasmara, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency from March 2019 - August 2019. This research found that in Ciasmara village there is still the practice of “Sedekah Bumi”, but the form of the celebration is not in the form of a colossal celebration but the celebration in the form of private in the family. This form of transformation of the “Sedekah Bumi” emerged as a response from the respect of each component of society so as not to violate each other's main norms adopted by each group of people. Keywords: existence, preservation of agriculture, sedekah bumi

Abstract

Abstract          This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine the communication network of street children in connection with the implementation of a one-way system in the city of Bogor. It also finds out whether street children are one of the inhibiting factors in implementing a one-way system in the city of Bogor. The communication network described in this study is the structure of the wheeled communication network, the chain communication structure, the communication structure of the Y communication network, the circle network structure, and the communication network structure of all channels. Data sources used in this study are key informants, informants, events and activities, and literature related to group communication and communication networks. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling which was considered to know accurate information in response to the research problem formulation. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and observation techniques, while data analysis techniques used using interactive analysis models include: collection, data reduction, data interpretation, and drawing conclusions after verification. Based on the results of the study, communication networks are used by groups of children in the street that became the informant in this study. The first informants were from Tugu Kujang with chain communication network structure. The informants with wheel communication network structure are from Taman Topi, Lodaya, and Bantar Kemang. Street children are not directly inhibiting factors for the implementation of a one-way system in the city of Bogor, yet impeding aesthetics and the order of the city. The government conducts periodic training and provides a Work Training Center on a regular basis and provides Job Training Centers to reduce the growth rate of street children in Bogor city.  Keywords: anak travel bogor, bogor city, communication network one-way system

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out how the marketing communication strategy carried out by Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor in Forming Brand Awareness and to find out what factors are supporting and inhibiting the implementation of marketing communication strategies in Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor. This study uses a qualitative research approach that produces descriptive data in the form of written words and the data methods used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation.The results of this study emphasize the marketing communication strategy that has been carried out by Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor in forming brand awareness. Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor carries out a marketing communication strategy so that the Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor brand is recognized by the surrounding community, especially Bogor. The strategies used include identifying targets, determining communication objectives, designing messages, selecting personal and non-personal media communication channels, compiling a total communication budget, determining the promotion mix, implementing integrated marketing communication programs (IMC), and gathering feedback. There are supporting factors in the implementation of marketing communication strategies carried out by Taman Kupu-Kupu Sinarwangi Park Land Bogor, namely by presenting their superiority on social media Facebook and Instagram and utilizing school visits by interacting directly with teachers through information media through word of mouth.
