Abstract

This Community Service Activities will strive to solve the problems of Toddler Nutrition and create a Healthy Village. In this program, the community is expected to be able to improve their toddler's nutritional status, by utilizing the potential of local food so that they can become nutritious and economically valuable alternative food products through an empowerment approach. Empowerment is carried out by providing training to Posyandu cadres and women's organization mothers administrators of Kramatinggil Village, Gresik Regency. The training was carried out in several stages, namely: (1) Counseling on “Kadarzi” and Toddler Nutrition, (2) Counseling on the development of alternative products sourced from local food potential, namely Moringa Leaves and PMT Biscuits, (3) Training on making BIMA-X (PMT Biscuits and Moringa Oleifera Extract), 4) Toddler Nutrition Counseling and Anthropometric Measurement. The use of PMT Biscuits and Moringa Leaves are expected to improve the nutritional status of the community especially toddlers because in the PMT Biscuits and Moringa Leaves there are many Nutrient contents both Macro and Micro products BIMA-X can be presented in four variations preparations, namely: Stick Moringa, Ice Cream, nuggets, and pudding. The methods used are lectures, discussions, product processing training, and counseling. The outputs of this activity are: (1) Understanding of Posyandu Cadres and women's organization mothers administrators regarding Nutrition in Toddlers, (2) Understanding of alternative food products originating from local food potentials and nutritional content, (3) Posyandu Cadre Ability and the management women's organization mothers processes BIMA-X food products, (4) Recognizes the health and nutrition problems faced by toddlers and gets solutions from Nutritionists. To improve the nutritional status of families, especially toddlers, in this dedication activity, Nutritionist Cadres also nominalization Posyandu cadres so that it is expected that Kramatinggil Village, Gresik Regency can become a Healthy Village.Key Words: Counseling “Kadarzi”, Local Food Product Development, BIMA-X, Improved Nutritional Status

Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic has made economic conditions in Indonesia, including MSME players,seriously worsened. The government has made many policies to ease the burden on MSMEs, one ofwhich is providing incentives in the field of taxation. There are still many MSME players who do nottake advantage of the incentives provided. The obstacles they face are the lack of socialization andtheir ignorance of using these facilities. For this reason, the community service team of Institut Bisnisdan Informatika Kwik Kian Gie collaborates with the OperBisnis organization to assist in introducingsimple accounting and utilizing tax incentives for MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic. The targetsin this activity are MSME entrepreneurs assisted by the non-profit organization OperBisnis, whofoster more than 50 UMKM entrepreneurs spread across Jabodetabek, Bandung, and Medan. Thesolution for MSMEs that have not done bookkeeping is expected to use a single entry system byrecording cash receipts and payments so that they can take advantage of government tax incentives.

Abstract

Currently mastery of digital marketing has become a must for business people. However, there arestill many parties who have not mastered it. In order to provide briefing and enrichment on digitalmarketing strategy, this community service activity (PKM) was carried out in collaboration withDekopinda - North Jakarta. Starting with the formulation of the problem, followed by the formulation ofthe material and the determination of the form of activity, this PKM was carried out on June 26, 2021using an online platform, because it took place in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic and theimplementation of the PPKM Mikro in DKI Jakarta. This activity was attended by 35 participants whoare the Managements and Members of Dekopinda – North Jakarta. The material presented includesthe understanding of digital marketing, digital marketing channels, internet marketing and its mainchannels, how to start digital marketing, strategies for choosing social media as a promotional tool,and how to choose a marketplace for beginners. After participating in this activity, participants feltgreat benefits and suggested similar activities with different topics. The proposed topics areleadership and identification of business opportunities during a pandemic.

Abstract

This community empowerment activity is intended to improve people awareness in financial household management, especially in retirement planning.  By doing a good retirement planning, it is expected that people will have a good quality of life during their retirement.  This activity is also intended to increase households’ financial literacy.  This activity was done at Sunday, 3 November 2019 at 4-6pm, participated by 18 members of Komunitas Ibu RT 09 RW 03 Kelurahan Dukuh Kecamatan Kramat Jati Jakarta Timur.  Lecturing, true or fals, guided teaching, question & answer, simulation and discusion were used along this activity.  All participants were actively following the all program, from the beginning to the end of session.  Questions and opinions from participants show their awareness on the importance of retirement planning.  At the end of session, the participants agreed that having a good retirement planning before entering the retirement period is important.   Retirement planning is needed to reach a good wealth during the retirement.  The problem is that they do not have an enough knowledge to make a good retirement planning.   Therefore, a guidance and help are needed to increase their financial literacy, especially in composing a retirement plan.  Some topics that could be delivered to them in the future are introducing investment instruments and selecting a Financial Institution Pension Fund.

Abstract

Permasalahan lingkungan besar yang dihadapi dunia, khususnya di Indonesia adalah isu pencemaran plastik, mikroplastik, dan pencemaran laut. Permasalahan mikroplastik dan pencemaran lautan ini menjadi pekerjaan rumah yang besar bagi berbagai pihak termasuk dunia pendidikan sebagai agen perubahan. Peserta PKM ini adalah para Duta Lingkungan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMA Negeri 1 Cikarang Pusat, peraih Sekolah Adiwiyata Tingkat Nasional. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendidikan lingkungan memberikan wawasan terkait (a) mikroplastik dan pencemaran lautan, (b) bagaimana solusi pengolahan dan pengelolaan yang bisa dilakukan dalam skala rumah tangga, dan (c) bagaimana agar peserta mau merubah perilaku dan peduli terhadap permasalahan lingkungan ini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini terdiri dari 2 kegiatan yaitu:  Pendidikan Lingkungan (presentasi dan diskusi) dan Lomba Poster Kreatif. Pendidikan lingkungan ini dibutuhkan sejak usia remaja supaya kesadaran akan masalah ini dapat tertanam sejak usia muda. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam rangka Adiwiyata, seperti Duta Lingkungan, merupakan kegiatan yang dapat menjadi pusat pembelajaran mengenai lingkungan hidup yang baik di sekolah, juga menimbulkan banyak perubahan positif bagi perilaku bermasyarakat.       AbstractNowadays, the world, especially Indonesia are facing the three biggest environmental problems, which are plastic pollution issue, microplastic, and marine pollution. Microplastic and marine pollution problems are becoming a major homework for many stakeholders, including education sector, as an agent of change. The participants of this community empowerment project are Environmental Agents, who actively engage in extracurricular activities in SMA Negeri 1 Cikarang Pusat, an Adiwiyata Green Schools national award winner. The method that been used is environmental education, that giving knowledge about (a) microplastic and marine pollution, (b) how to treat and manage the solution in household scale, and (c) how the participants became active in changing their behaviors, and increasing careness in this problems. The activities are divided into 2 type: Environmental Education (Presentation and Sharing) and Creative Poster Competition. This event are needed for young leaders to increase their awareness and plant wisdom in since they are young. The extracurriculer activities in Adiwiyata Green Schools, like Environmental Agent are becoming a great education center for environmental issue in schools, and also can contribute to positive changing of society behaviors.

Abstract

Penyakit Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit yang tidak dapat disembuhkan  tetapi dapat dikendalikan. Pemerintah berupaya memberikan pelayanan kesehatan bagi penderita DM melalui program pengelolaan penyakit kronis (prolanis). Prolanis diselenggarakan di puskesmas bertujuan untuk memberikan pelayanan kepada penderita DM agar mampu mengendalikan kadar gula. Peningkatan kemempuan perawatan diawali dengan kemampuan pengetahuan dari peserta prolanis DM. Diperlukan upaya kegiatan edukasi bagi peserta prolanis DM meliputi materi dan metode yang dimodifikasi. Materi konsep DM, materi menyusun menu DM serta materi olahraga yang sesuai bagi penderita DM. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan menggunakan metoda edukasi berupa penyampaian materi diharapkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan melakukan perawatan bagi seluruh peserta prolanis DM. Hasil edukasi kegiatan diperoleh peningkatan persepsi peserta prolanis DM sebesar 6%  setelah diberikan edukasi, mampu melakukan senam kaki DM dengan baik (83.3%). Diperlukan inovasi baru dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada peserta prolanis DM untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta motivasi pemeriksaan rutin.

Abstract

Technological developments have a major impact on world businesses, such as technology-based companies. These changes also encourage for several adjustment in accounting scope. Therefore, educators are expected to be able to convey accounting knowledge in terms of its application concept in company business processes. To help delivering accounting skills, educators can use management methods in the form of active learning that focuses class activities in the active participation of each student. The purpose of this activity is for training educators to be able to apply appropriate active learning methods in accounting learning materials at SMA/SMK. When the training was conducted, each participant is invited to discuss and try to apply active learning methods. In addition, presenter also explain the data about effectiveness of active learning implementation which is shown through increasing students' understanding of the material being taught. At the end, discussions and trainings of active learning methods could provide new ideas for participants to deliver more varied subject matter.

Abstract

Spaghetti Medan adalah salah satu jenis makanan kuliner khas Medan yang terkenal dengan kelezatannya. Ia adalah jenis makanan olahan berupa mie khas Medan yang dikombinasikan dengan mie olahan khas Italia. Bahan makanan ini relatif murah sehingga banyak diminati oleh masyarakat menengah ke bawah, khususnya kawula muda. Dari situlah kemudian muncul ide untuk membuat sebuah terobosan bisnis berupa kuliner makanan yaitu Spaghetti Medan yang target pasarnya adalah anak-anak remaja yang masih duduk di bangku sekolah menengah.Kuliner khas Spaghetti Medan ini akan dikemas secara sederhana dalam sebuah kemasan yang menarik, tidak terlalu membutuhkan tempat yang luas, dan mudah dalam proses pembuatan serta penjualannya. Pembeli hanya membeli, kemudian dapat membawanya ke tempat lain untuk mengkonsumsinya. Bisnis ini mudah, sederhana dan tidak terlalu membutuhkan modal yang besar, sehingga dapat dilakukan oleh siapa saja. Dalam hal ini, bisnis ini diimplementasikan kepada para siswa SMA Negeri I Cikarang Pusat sehingga mereka yang masih duduk di bangku SMA dapat pula sambil menjalankan bisnis ke depannya.

Abstract

Adanya peningkatan minat wisatawan baik lokal maupun mancanegara terhadap desa wisata perlu dibarengi dengan adanya peningkatan sumber daya manusia dalam hal berkomunikasi, khususnya komunikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris sebagai Bahasa yang paling banyak digunakan sebagai penghubung antara wisatawan dengan para pelaku wisata. Masyarakat sebagai tuan rumah di desa wisata harus diperlengkapi dengan keampuan berbahasa Inggris yang baik.  Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah memberikan pelatihan untuk membantu kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis) Desa Sukajadi di Kecamatan Tamansari Bogor dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi Bahasa Inggris khusus untuk wisata.  Berdasarkan wawancara yang dilakukan sebelum program ini dimulai, masyarakat Desa Sukajadi secara keseluruhan masih belum memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam menggunakan Bahasa Inggris untuk kepentingan wisata. Untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut salah satu solusi tercepat adalah melalui metode pelatihan atau kursus menggunakan Bahasa Inggris praktis, yakni dengan berlatih / praktek langsung keterampilan menggunakan bahasa Inggris dalam berinteraksi dengan tamu, menjelaskan potensi wisata alam atau pertanian, menjelaskan akomodasi, dan fasilitas pelengkap pariwisata. Secara umum berdasarkan analis hasil kuesioner yang diberikan kepada peserta pelatihan, tidak ada kendala maupun kesulitan yang dihadapi dalam mengikuti pelatihan ini, pokdarwis dan kepala desa merasa sangat terbantu dengan adanya pelatihan ini dan sebagian besar peserta dapat memahami semua materi yang telah diberikan dengan baik. Peserta juga menyadari akan pentingnya memperdalam kemampuan berbahasa Inggris terutama keterampilan berbicara (speaking skill).

Abstract

During this pandemic, there are many issues that have been neglected due to compelling conditions, one of the issues that has begun to be neglected is gender. Through the 4psace.foryou program we want to educate our followers to know about gender and the forms of gender discrimination during this pandemic. The aim of our program is to educate and bring awareness about our forms that respect gender. Our method for educating his followers program is to create a campaign on Instagram with 3 main topics. This program is also protected by a Content Creator named Iwan Kurniawan. This 4space.foryou campaign program was successful in getting 100 participants and we managed to influence our followers through the content we created on Instagram by gathering aspirations and from our 100 followers. This program has also succeeded in bringing influence to Iwan Kurniawan and his followers on Instagram. Overall, the objectives and benefits of this program have been achieved, and we can prove it through the data that has been collected.
