Abstract

Today is online learning in Indonesia is a new thing in the world of education. The obstacle that often occurs is that educators have difficulty in determining the media that can be used according to online learning. Another problem is the lack of parental assistance. Therefore, the researchers provided assistance to parents in elementary school online learning by using learning media. The strategies and methods used by researchers are online and offline. The results of the mentoring process obtained from the use of learning media are learning interest, increased student motivation. However, this is not a solution to the problem of ineffective online learning. The implementation of parental assistance in using learning media for elementary school students in Loa Buah sub-district contains many factors, both in terms of supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors are motivation, high interest and talent of students, family support, community and school. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of facilities or infrastructure used for online and offline learning, the lack of an internet network, not being able to buy quotas, the lack of student discipline during face-to-face mentoring, lack of discipline in using masks, and others.

Abstract

There are several ways that can be done to prevent the transmission of Covid-19, one of which is by spraying disinfectant in the surrounding environment and objects that are at risk of transmitting the virus. Making your own disinfectant at home can actually be done using ingredients that are household cleaning products. However, many people from Panca Jaya village, Muara Kaman sub-district, Kutai Kartanegara district, still don't know how to make a disinfectant, even if they know they generally just mix chemicals with water without knowing the content, properties and dosages that will be used to make the disinfectant. Seeing this in the field, it is necessary to have educational activities for the community regarding the manufacture of disinfectants. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge and understanding to the residents of Panca Jaya village about how to make disinfectants with home cleaning products in their respective homes. The method used in this counseling was to provide information via LCD and give out pamphlets to participants, demonstrate to make disinfectant, then continue spraying disinfectant in the surrounding environment. It is hoped that this activity can be applied in their daily life as a form of prevention and transmission of Covid-19.

Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a condition characterized by an increase in systemic arterial blood pressure above the threshold/normal value (Giles et al, 2009). Diseases and deaths that were initially dominated by infectious diseases turned into non-communicable diseases. Implementation In its implementation, the community service program is carried out with the following methods: a. Counseling was carried out by means of lectures using power points accompanied by pictures and discussions with students about the definition, classification, causes, risk factors, prevention and early management of hypertension in adolescents. b. Demonstration and examination of blood pressure and nutritional counseling. C. Weighing and height of students. Measuring the success of the activity, the service team measured the participants' knowledge before and after receiving counseling by distributing pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Conclusion: Before counseling the students' knowledge was 20.0% and after being given counseling there was an increase in knowledge to 90.0%. This means that there is a significant change after being given counseling. The follow-up of the results of this community service is that similar blood pressure checks and nutritional counseling can be carried out in different places, so that more students know and understand about hypertension in adolescents.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Mandiri Universitas Flores tahun 2021 di selenggarakan pada tanggal 02 - 31 Agustus 2021. Memiliki tema yaitu, “Masyarakat Tangguh Dalam Menghadapi Covid-19 Bersama KKN Universitas Flores” dan sub tema “Pengelolaan dan Perancangan Sarana dan Prasarana Desa/Kelurahan Berbasis Lokal”. Lokasi di laksanakan di Desa Raporendu, Kecamatan Nangapanda, Kabupaten Ende, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Kegiatan KKN ini hasil kerja sama pemerintah desa setempat, masyarakat, mahasiswa dan Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL). Tujuan kegiatan ini agar mahasiswa bisa menerapkan apa yang mereka peroleh dibangku kuliah, dan mendapat pengalaman belajar dengan ikut terlibat bersama masyarakat secara langsung, melalui masalah yang ditemukan dan mencari solusinya. Ada beberapa masalah yang dijumpai dilokasi, sehingga perlu adanya usaha bersama untuk mengurangi atau mengatasi hal tersebut. (1) minimnya fasilitas yang menunjang untuk menekan penularan virus Covid-19 di Desa Raporendu, maka dibuatkan wastafel atau tempat cuci tangan didepan Kantor Desa untuk pegawai kantor atau tamu/warga setempat yang datang berkunjung, (2) Pembuatan bak sampah dari bahan batako untuk mengatasi pencemaran lingkungan akibat sampah yang berserakan, (3) memperbaiki instalasi listrik di pelabuhan, (4) pembuatan gapura dari bahan bambu lokal, (5) kerja bakti membersihkan rumah ibadat dan lingkungan desa. Dari hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat setempat, dan dapat bekerja sama untuk kegiatan KKN tahun selanjutnya. Abstract

The Community Service Program (Penmas) aims to improve the ability of teachers in terms of learning tools, improve the ability of teachers to use IT, and improve teacher administration skills. The implementation of Penmas is preceded by providing information to the Chair of the Foundation about the training activities that will be carried out, giving invitations to teachers who will be training participants, carrying out training from January 19-20 2022, and making reports on the results of implementing activities. The materials presented during the training were: 1) Administrative urgency for educators, 2) IT-based learning tools. Participants also get guidance on writing learning tools in tutorial activities and practice writing learning tools. The training participants were 40 SMK and MA Tanada Foundation teachers.

Abstract

The outbreak of COVID 19 has resulted in educational institutions implementing an online learning system and the impact on students' declining abilities in mathematics. This service activity aims to help students understand the material about the basics of counting outside of school hours. This service activity was carried out at the Ebenhaezer Mabu Congregation, Alor Regency with the target of junior high school students in the area. This activity was carried out for 6 meetings, starting with the pretest and ending with the posttest. This activity is said to be successful because of the positive response from students and parents to this activity and an increase in scores between the pretest and posttest.

Abstract

Marriage preparation education and training for prospective married couples also have been known in Indonesia as marriage preparation training courses (KPP). Like the other parishes in every diocese all over the world, St. Joseph Parish of Onekore Ende which belong to the vicariate pastoral ministry area of Ende, and the Archdiocese of Ende cares and pays more attention to the needs of parish community members who are planning to build a family up for living together as husband and wife. So, responding to the needs of these prospective couples and based on the pastoral activity planning that has been designed in an annual plenary pastoral assembly, the Parish Pastoral Council, through the Family Pastoral Section of the Parish, carries out an educational and training program for the premarital marriage preparation activities under the coordination of the Parish Pastor and his fellow co-pastor. The facilitators use the acronym term PMPET in this article. PMPET is shortened from Premarital Marriage Preparation Education and Training. The purpose is to know whether PMPET as an approach and model be able to enhance the knowledge and skill of the participants about the nature of marriage which is discussed from various perspectives or points of view.

Abstract

The purpose of education is to form students to be able to increase the level of intelligence by transferring the knowledge and technology possessed by teachers. The purpose of this research is to provide understanding and knowledge in the computer field, especially the introduction of making questions through google form to educators at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Muhajirin, Bekasi As for the problems that the school has during the current covid-19 pandemic, where some face-to-face learning is limited and some are still teaching online, so the lack of knowledge in applying some computer programs is still found and as well as a lack of understanding in making learning applications using the google form. The method used is through direct observation and interviews, so it is deemed necessary to provide training in the form of workshops to educators so that the results of this study are teachers u are able to create an interactive learning through the google form assignment method to become a capital to explore and expand knowledge in the field of technology

Abstract

Public knowledge about health, especially medicine is still very limited. One of the terms of health in medicine that is less known by the public is BUD (Beyond Use Date). BUD is time limit for the use  of  medicinal products after being prepared/formulated or after the primary packaging is  opened /tampered with. While ED (Expiration Date) is the time limit for the use of medicinal products after being  produced by the manufacturer before the packaging is opened. ED is listed by the manufacturer on the packaging while BUD is not always listed. Providing correct information about BUD becomes the  needs of the community  to avoid negative impacts that may arise,such as: the occurrence of medication error, the target therapy is  not optimal and decreases the effectiveness of the medicinal products. For this reason, an effort  is needed to increase public knowledge about BUD, namely through counseling activities with lecture, discussion and Q&A methods. Counseling on BUD (Beyond Use Date) in patients of Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy Installationt dr.R.Koesma Tuban Regency, aims to find out  the level of public knowledge of BUD. Based on the evaluation results of the pre test question sheet (before counseling) and post test question sheet (after counseling) most of the participants increased their knowledge,its means that the participants understood the definition and the difference between BUD and ED solid, semi-solid, liquid, eye drops and insulin preparations.

Abstract

Every 10th of Dhul-Hijjah Muslims around the world celebrate eid al-Adha or known as the feast of Qurban. Almost every mosque, especially urban areas, organizes slaughter of qurban animals, as well as in the Miftahul Jannah Mosque. Based on information obtained from partners that almost every year the number of cows is more than goats for slaughter. In addition to meat, beef bones are also a part that is distributed by partners to those who are entitled to receive especially the shohibul qurban. In the resent years the bones that are distributed are large pieces so that it is a concern for partners because the recipient expects the size of the bone received to be ready to be cooked because not all residents who have equipment to cut bones. Based on this condition, it is necessary to make a bone cutting machine that can cut bones quickly with a ready-to-cook size of 10-15 cm. Utilization of bone cutting tools was carried out on eid al-Adha 10 Dhul-Hijjah 1442 H, coinciding on July 20, 2021. The number of cows that are cut is 6.  The results of the implementation of the machine show that the equipment is functioning in accordance with the expectations of the partner. Based on the results of four  mitra members showed that the machine can be operated easily, can cut quickly with a cut size of 10 - 15 cm, and is safe to use. After cutting 6 cow bones the machine still works well. Some input from partners is to expand the size of the table and improve the appearance of the machine so that it can be sold.
